Slideshow - Photoshop to Premiere Failure - Need Help!!

Created slideshow to music and recorded audio segments with embedded videos in photo elements 8 and sent to premiere elements 8 but it doesn't come over very clean. Music overlaps, video is robotic, some pics didn't come over. Would love to know what I'm doing wrong.

I suspect that you are attempting tasks which are beyond the capability of the Elements Organizer Slide Show editor and you would be better doing the addition of your video using Premiere Elements in a project setting (of Premiere Elements) that is chosen based on the format of video you have. (this option is specifically my opinion based on several years working with people on forums who reported similar type problems: it is not an official statement and I do not work for Adobe.)
If troubleshooting from the forum is possible, I think that it is more likely to be successful over in the forum for Premiere Elements at

-- "recorded audio segments with embedded videos"
please explain-- for example do you mean ?
do you mean you added music to the slide show and also had narration for the slide show ?
-- what is the format (the codec) used for the video(s) you are using ? If you don't know the codec, then identify the camera which was the source of the video(s)
-- if you know what was the project setting for the Prem Elements project - post that info
-- what format will you choose as the output from Premiere Elements - for example, will you burn a standard definition DVD ?
-- what is the pixel resolution of the photo files that you are using ? (too high a pixel resolution can be a problem)
-- what is the Windows operating system ? (most probably you will also be asked for your PC hardware configuration during troubleshooting)
EDIT - adding additional question
-- identify the format and the pixel dimensions of the photos that did not successfully transfer to Premiere Elements (numbers are better but statements like it was a panorama will help to start the analysis of why some failed) Also tell whether these photos were visible when doing a preview playback within the Elements Organizeer slide show editor.

As for the video specifications for your HP D3000. From what I read, you are either shooting 1280 x 720 at 30 frames per second or 640 x 480 at 30 frames per second. And, your video is MotionJPEG.avi. Can you confirm that?

If you are shooting 1280 x 720 at 30 frames per second, I would suggest the following, whichever works:
a. transfer the video from the camera to a computer hard drive save location.
b. Open Premiere Elements 11, go to File Menu/New/Project and in the new project dialog set the project preset YOURSELF to NTSC HDV HDV 720p30, making sure that you place a check mark next to "Force selected Project Setting for this project". Then via ADD MEDIA, Files and Folders, browse to an bring your MotionJPEG.avi into the project (Project Assets).
or
a. if doable, attach at USB cable from your camera's USB 2.0 port (it has one according to what I read online) to the computer USB 2.0 or 3.0 port
b. then open a Premiere Elements 11 new project - File Menu/New/Project and in the new project dialog set the project preset YOURSELF to NTSC HDV HDV 720p30, making sure that you place a check mark next to "Force selected Project Setting for this project". Then via ADD MEDIA, "Vidoes from Flip or Camera"/Video Importer and its Advanced Dialog bring your video into the project.
In these cases the project preset will match your source media (no black borders in the monitor space when you edit). If the program has a problem selecting the project preset, as it wants to do, you will probably end up with the default 1080i30 instead of 720p30 unless you step in and do this project preset setting yourself.

I have by mistake deleated my program creative cloud, (creative cloud is not im my computer anymore) how can I reload it and have access to photoshop CC. I need help. Arlette

Ihave by mistake deleated my program creative cloud the consequence is that have no more creative cloud in my Computer . HOW CAN I RELOAD creative cloud.
The best would be if Adobe would send me a mail to click and install it again, but I can't contact any Body. I need help.

Audio acting up in Premiere Pro | Need Help ASAP

Okay, I need help ASAP because this has been a serious issue for me.
So my source video (an interview) is on PR's timeline. I start playing it and it's working fine, but all of a sudden, the audio skips back to the beginning of the interview, then about 10 seconds later, it gets back on track. I checked the original video that I imported it from and it's all fine. I even reimported the file, but the problem persists.

Okay, problem solved. I took the working source video, took the audio out and put it in there.

WRT54GL V1.1 Firmware Failure - Need Help To Try Recovery

Hello: I need assistance with my WRT54GL V1.1.
I was attempting to upgrade my firmware from 4.30.13 to 4.30.14 USA English version. The upgrade was nearly complete when the dreaded Upgrade Failed message appeared. I have searched multiple Linksys Forums trying to recover my router. I tried the 30 second "reset" procedure with the router still powered on. When that did not help I tried another reset procedure I found on the internet called the 30 30 30. After following the "reset" instructions a couple times I have now gone from only the "fast power light blinking" failure to the following: Fast power light blinking AND all the Ethernet Port lights are turned on solid and the Internet light is also turned on solid. At this point I am clueless which steps to even attempt. I did connect an ethernet cable directly to Port 1 and tried to ping 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.5.1 which was the router's IP address before the firmware upgrade failed. I get no response from either ping. If anyone can help me save my just out of warranty (of course) router it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, have tried most if not all of the blinking power light solutions I could find on the internet. Have tried to ping the router from two different PCs with statiic IP assignments.
What I could not find anywhere on the various forums were my symptoms, which is Blinking Power Light plus the additional lights that are on solid. I was hoping someone else has seen the problem I have and had some other solution.
With mine I have either Blinking Power & all (4) Port lights & Internet light on solid. Then if I do a power off/on cycle I will have Blinking Power, Ports 1 & 4 and Internet lights on solid.
Again, was praying that someone would recognize the different lights as perhaps a coded error message with some recovery procedure. I guess not and mine is a brick.
I did notice that a couple forums mentioned that the .BIN file download on these routers has to be LESS than 3mb or the router would be bricked. The most current .BIN on the Cisco/Linksys page that I downloaded was MORE than 3mb.
I would think though that many many more owners of the WRT54GL V1.1 router would have complained to Cisco that the latest firware on this site is blowing up routers!

Bootcamp Disk Failure-Need help urgently

I have been trying to partition my mac to use windows. Unofortunately I am not able to as everytime i click on disk partition it says disk failure check with disk utility. 4 times yesterday i had repaired my disk using disk utility.
And everytime i had repaired and i went back to partitioning my disk, it will start to partition for a 1 min and than warning will appear to restart your computer.After restarting computer and going back to bootcamp assistant and starting all over doing the partitioning the disk failure notice pops up. and plus the freespace in the mac has been reduced.
I have reading through most of the post that have been sent in this discussion group but none seems to help.
I am fairly new to mac. So if you are helping me out pliz and pliz sipmlify your language so that i can understand all this computer stuff.
And pliz explain as well if you could.Thanks.

Photoshop elements 5.0 need help

I have uesd Photoshop elemts 5.0 for years. Mainly I use it for cropping, a small amount of touch up. Recently when I try to save a picture as a jpeg the message comes up "could not complete your request because of a program error. I can save as i tiff. and other formats bu t not jpeg. So I uninstalled 5.0 and reinstalled and the same thing happens. Can you help me to fix the problem. I really don't want to learn an new version or purchase a new version do to the cost. THANK YOU

Hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt and keep them pressed whilst double clicking on Edit & enhance Photos. Then release. Click Yes to delete settings when you see a pop-up dialog box.

Illustrator to Photoshop integration problem. Need help.

Hi there,
I use these two applications interchangebly, creating vector artwork in Illustrator that I bring into Photoshop to integrate with photographs and to texture my vector artwork, etc. I've been using this method for a few versions now- I like the flexibility but like many Adobe innovations, I've encountered a problem.
My document in Photoshop is 9' x 12", and for consistency, I make my Illustrator artboard 9" x 12" as well. I can mix and match all day inside of my Illustrator artboard, then copy that artwork directly into Photoshop to have it seemlessly land on the same coordinates in my 9" x 12" PS document. BUT- If my artwork in Ai crosses my artboard borders, copying my artwork into my PS document constrains it within the 9" x 12" PS doc.
It makes sense- I get it, only had this been the case the first 3,000 times I've used this method! I've been working all day WITHOUT that happening. I've been creating inside of my Ai artboards, some of that artwork has portions crossing enemy lines, and upon copying it into PS, it was a perfect translation. I was integrating like a pro, no questions or qualms.
About an hour ago, PS and Ai stopped talking to one another. I'm left to push in on my monitor with watering eyes to make sure every pixel lines up- which they don't.... To make matters worse, when the Vector Smart Object enters photoshop, sized within the bounds of the document (rather than directly translated) with free-transform already enabled- All I can do is zoom in and out and pray to Adobe that holding shift will snap the edges of my vector artwork to the edges of my PS document. WRONG. It's off, even by just a few pixels after 10 minutes of resizing efforts- that's unacceptable. It's disgusting that this is a road block.
I thought a fix would be masking all of that Ai artwork to the size of the artboard, then copying it into Photoshop. Same problem- why would PS take into account masked artwork data? I understand that it shouldn't throw it away, but it's masked for a reason! One doesn't even edit the Vector SO inside of PS- PS tosses you back into Ai when you want to edit that vector artwork anyway...
My once seamless cross-app composition has gone rogue, and any time I bring artwork from Ai to PS that bleeds over the artboard, it is resized to fit inside of my Photoshop doc. Again - I get it - had this been the way Ai and PS integrated from the beginning, middle, and end. But now I'm in the middle, and the two of them are telling different stories.
Long story short- this abrupt workflow change seems to have activated at no fault of my own. I'm very autonomous, and I check my tracks when I create to avoid this awful "WTF did I do?!?!". Can anyone provide any leads, or perhaps a solution, as to why my applications have stopped working together? I hope all I have to do is check a little box somewhere...

Mask boundries haven't meant anything since CS4 I beleive. I reported it as an integration bug a couple years ago.
I think vector masks should create the boundaries when pasting into Photoshop. The bounding box shouldn't use or see the masked areas at all.
So.... I feel your pain at times.
What helps is to adjust the Photoshop preferences and uncheck "Resize Images During Place". That way your art won't resize. Then you can snap the edges of the visible data to the document edges.

In premiere pro, there is no 480p profil ! strange! why ?.. very disturbing !!
Then i select the avchd 1280p and decided to change the parameters preview to 854x480 and save the profil :

I'm still pretty new with Premiere. Is it possible to combine video that was shot at 29 fps and 59 fps? Some of my past clips I shot with another camera wouldn't play sound in Premiere. Could it be possible that was because my sequence was set up wrong? Can you have different frame rates for different clips on the same timeline? If so, how is that supposed to be set up so it all works together? I recently purchased a really nice camcorder (Canon g30) and way over spent but I wanted really nice footage. I was totally frustrated when some of the video clips had no sound when I imported them into Premiere CS6. Tried an experiment yesterday by just shooting with the exact same settings for every clip and when imported everything works perfectly.

How to Make DVD Slideshow From iPhoto? I need help !!!!!

What's the easiest way to import about 160 photos from iPhoto to a DVD with background music to send to Grandmom as a slideshow? She's 83 and really wants to see a bunch of pictures of her grandkids, and loves the DVDs I've done in the past (using iLife '06). I now have iLife 2009.
I have attempted to get a DVD with music to burn, but it isn't working. As in the past, I have gone from iPhoto, dropping the selected photos into iMovie, added music from iTunes, and imported that to iDVD but it takes Sooooooo long (seems like this route used to be faster). Any way shorter? More efficient?
I do it that way because I recall that iDVD in prior versions was restricted to 99 photos, so I always went from iPhoto to iMovie to iDVD. But '09 is different than '06; I can't even get music to import from iTunes or play on the DVD I burned using this rather long procedure(not copy protected, either). So, I'm at a loss.
What am I doing wrong? How do I do it correctly?
Step by step instructions would be much appreciated!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You have to have a theme but you can have the slideshow begin automatically when the disk is inserted into a DVD player. Go to the Map mode in iDVD and drag the slideshow into the blue box at the far left:

But there has to be a theme for iDVD to drop back to when it finishes the slideshow. BUT you could set the slideshow to loop endlessly so it would never drop back to the theme unless you stopped it manually and exited to the theme. You set the repeat option in the Advanced menu.
