Slight problem with the environment

I have written code that works fine when i run it tthrough JCreator.
But as soon as i run it via command prompt from windows plattform . it gives exception in main thread and gives the following message
C:\java>java RandomDice.java
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: RandomDice/java
The code is ok and works fine .
Can someone explain what causes this problem and how to handle it

Do you mean

There doesn't appear to be any problem with the
classpath in this case.
Oh! I overlooked this RandomDice.javaAnyways it would do the op a world of good if he reads the entire FAQ.

  • Problem with the renameTO method in the Linux environment

    Hi
I got a problem with the renameTO method in the Linux environment. The file is not moving.
This method is returning false. the same code executed successfully in Windows environment.
Can anyone give some fix to this one or an alternate solution to move the files in both windows and Linux.
    boolean success;
    File root = new File(tempPath);
                   File f = new File(root, phyFileName);
                   File dest = new File(targetPath);
    success = f.renameTo(new File(dest, actualFileName));actualFileName = 400.doc
    dest = /home/jboss-4.0.3/axsscm_1.0/axsscmDocuments/xchange/fileup/fshare/PO/1786

Can u solve the below doubt.
Will renameTo method wont work in Linux? If so why?Did you not read what I said? I suspect you are trying to rename a file so that it actually has to be moved to a different volume (partition or hard disk) so it won't work. One would have the same problem on Windows trying to rename a file on the c: drive to a name on the d: drive.

Can u give a sample or good link to do the above work which works fine in all environments.?Just follow the pseudo code I gave. 15 minutes work.

  • I am having a strange problem with the awesome bar

The awesome bar/location bar is no longer as awesome as it used to be. When I start typing in an address it seems like it no longer checks through my history and gives a list of possible matches but just gives the stem of an address. For example, if I type in 'goo' it will complete this to 'google.com' if I then append this with an '/a' it will complete this to 'google.com/analytics' but that's as good as it gets, as I say, no list from the history or bookmarks.
I've checked the options and also about:config and all the settings are as they should be, as far as I can tell (and I certainly hadn't changed any of them when it started misbehaving). I've also disabled all extensions and plug-ins.
It's driving my slightly bonkers because I quite often use sites with long addresses and can't remember each of the components of each address. I'd switch to using Chrome but I also use Firebug a fair bit so don't really want to do this.

Hi cowtan, <br/>Sorry you are having problems with the awesome bar.
I imagine the new behaviour may be reversed by changing some pref but I have not looked that up.
Regardless of the new behaviour you seem to have some fault as my awesomebar still gives bookmarked items.
As a troubleshooting step try adding an asterisk in the awesomebar (as first character or anywhere) that should then filter the results in the dropdown list to bookmarked only items, does that work ?
    * see [[Search your bookmarks, history and tabs with the Awesome Bar#w_changing-results-on-the-fly]]_changing-results-on-the-fly
You possibly have some extension interfering with the awesome bar, try Firefox in safe mode (but do NOT* at this stage try the Reset Firefox option)
<nowiki>*</nowiki>'''edit''' - personal opinion, if a user; such as you; is knowledgeable enough to use ''about.config'' the easy solution of ''FirefoxReset ''is probably not the best route, as it can have unwanted side effects that are avoidable.
    * [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]]
Do your bookmarked items appear in safe mode ?
<u>Try a new Profile.</u><br/>The best method for troubleshooting this will be to set up a new Firefox profile, you can then: experiment, troubleshoot, alter settings or extensions installed in that profile without changing and potentially damaging your current profile.
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager#Creating_a_new_profile
I suggest to prevent unexpected problems you
    * use a sensible name such as test 2012 for the profile name
    * ensure an empty folder is used & do not then rename or delete the new profile (instead add or delete shortcuts to it)
    * also see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Using_multiple_profiles_-_Firefox

  • Problems with the iPod Touch (sound)

    Hey,
I was wondering (more like desperately hoping) someone can help me with my problem.
I've had my iPod touch for almost 2 years now but lately I've been getting problems with the sound.
When I bought the iPod, I bought some decent sennheiser plug-in earbuds too, because I find the one's delivered with the ipod pretty low quality.
For over a year, I loved my ipod touch (it's my second one) but one day, for some unknown reason, my sound was at not even half of the usual volume.
I've checked the settings but cannot find the problem, so I tested the ipod ears delivered with the ipod since they were new, same story (the left earbud was slightly louder than the right for some time but not too long, then they both gone quiet).
I've checked on the internet before and someone said "try jailbraking your ipod, because that sometimes helps, so I did but no effect.
So I set it back to fabric settings and went to a switch store, they listened and found it odd too so they send it in because it was still under guarantee.
Now (today), I've gotten a completely new ipod touch 16 Gb. So, happy as I was, I went home to put my music on it, and what happens? The sound is slightly louder than the previous one but still WAY too quiet! If I'm on the bus, its no use listening to it because I cant understand the lyrics cause of the background noizes the bus makes... Its p*¨ssing me off bigtime that its still way too quiet, anyone got any ideas how to fix it?
Please don't send useless reply's like get ya ears checked because Im in the army and they get checked regularly and they are perfectly fine!
Maybe with someone knows some other program or app  that I can use so I can fix this very irritating problem?
I have had 6 iPods before, from the first one that came out to the ipod touch 16 Gb, and its only with this one that Ive started having problems about a year ago.
Plus my girlfriend has an ipod too (not a touch) and on her ipod, everything works fine, my earbuds included :s
    Please help!
    Thanks in advance!
    Toby

Omg, I've put over 2 hours of work in it to reinstall other versions of itunes, ios n such to then find out that they DID NOT test my ipod and sennheiser earbuds that I gave in along with my busted itouch.... They told me they work fine... Now I took my girlfriends earbuds cause nothing worked, turned out they are both broken and now I need to go back to the store for new ones, dont think that the previous itouch wasnt busted then after all cause it was, tried with 10 different sets of earbuds
anyway Im a happy man again with a decent itouch and good earbuds, that I can lend from me girlfriend...
    Thanks for the help anyway

I have a problem starting the Nodemanager successfully. I have currently installed BEA Weblogic 10.0 MP1. The admin server is getting started successfully. When, I start the Nodemanager with the command:

  • There's a problem with the recipient's mailbox. Please try resending this message.

I have a user who cannot receive a message from a particular external sender. That senders assistant (same domain and server as the external sender with the issue) is able to forward the exact same message to my user and it arrives as it should. In
message tracking, I can see the message came in through my smart host, through my front end and to the users mailbox server, where an NDR was generated.  We had the assistant forward us the NDR and it says:
There's a problem with the recipient's mailbox. Please try resending this message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.
From my 3rd party smart host/spam filter, I have a copy of the message in audit and when I forward it to myself, the same thing happens - it generates an NDR when it arrives at my Exchange mailbox server.  This makes me conclude that my end users mailbox
isn't corrupt, rather it's something in the message header that our server doesn't like (I've seen this happen with other senders as well, but it is extremely rare and random).
    Details/facts of my environment:
-Current production messaging system is Exchange 2003.
    -Working on Exchange 2010 co-existence.
-This problem between this sender and us has been an issue before the introduction of Exchange 2010.
-I'm hoping to begin end user mailbox migrations to 2010 and will have the sender try again at that time, but I still have testing to do with our voice messaging system before I can begin moving end user mailboxes.

    A little more discovery...
From my smart host/SPAM filter audit folder, I could see the message was received with a 2 meg "winmail.dat" file.  Yesterday, I had attempted redirecting the message to my own mailbox, and it bounced.  I decided to try redirecting the message
to a 2010 mailbox, and the message arrived.  It had 3 attachments, 1 Word doc, and 2 PDF files.  So, this appears to be an encoding issue with the winmail.dat file.  Any work arounds/reasons for winmail.dat from being rejected at the mailbox
server?  Once it made it to a 2010 mailbox/client, I was able to forward to a 2003 mailbox no problem.

    Hi,
As the event log indicated, this is due to acrobat pdfmaker office com addin doesn't work well with Microsoft Word.
I would suggest you go ahead and try to upgrade your Adobe product to the latest version and see if issue persists.
Or contact the support of Adobe and see if there is a known compatibility issue or not.

  • Exchange 2010/Outlook 2010 Security Alert (...there is a problem with the site's security certificate.)

I've been looking to resolve this issue for a while now and was hoping someone could help me understand my options.
We have Exchange 2010 & Outlook 2010 in our environment. I've created a SSL cert for our ActiveSync from a reputable CA and unfortunately, as you may not be surprised, we are seeing an alert each time we open Outlook that states:
"Security Alert; Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the site's security certificate.
The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site."
Of course my internal server name does not match my external server name. So the SSL I had created for use with OWA and ActiveSync is rejected by my internal Outlook clients.
After doing some research I believe this is related to the Autodiscover service being configured with my internal server name and not my external name.
I've found some info about adding New-AutodiscoverVirtualDirectory and Set-ClientAccessServer commands and then found this article that might help.  (Configure
Outlook Anywhere to Use Multiple SSL Certificates) but nothing is specific to my configuration and I'm concerned about what will happen to my existing configuration if this fails.
What happens when you run Set-ClientAccessServer? Does it retain and keep the old server config in place and add a new one or does it wipe it out? Will all of my devices need to be reconfigured?
Same with New-AutodiscoverVirtualDirectory.  Does this simply add another virtual directory or is it going to overwrite my existing config?
Then there is the question of whether or not any of this will actually address my issue at all.

        + FullyQualifiedErrorId : 4D980455,Microsoft.Exchange.Management.SystemConfigurationTasks.SetClientAccessServer"...is the error I get.
I've created the split zones and populated the Forward Lookup Zones as follows:
    CONTOSO.COM
    MailExt(CNAME)MailInt.contoso.local
    _tcp _autodiscover(SRV)MailExt.contoso.com
    CONTOSO.LOCAL
    MailInt(A)192.168.1.10
    MailExt(CNAME)MailInt.contoso.com
One thing I did notice is that there isn't a _tcp _autodiscover entry for MailInt in my Forward Lookup Zones.  It was recommended that I make that entry for _tcp _autodiscover(SRV)MailExt.contoso.com in another post I read somewhere.
I believe what I am trying to do is create a new autodiscover object as is shown here:
I see there is a Get-ClientAccessServer & Set-ClientAccessServer command but I need to add a CAS. Does the Set-ClientAccessServer add or simply modify?
Or would that require the New-AutodiscoverVirtualDirectory command? I read
this page that discussed creating new virtual directories but that seemed a little risky without knowing all the ins and outs of how this service functions and to what degree this would affect the existing configuration.
I was able to use the Set-ClientAccessServer command and change the actual internal autodiscoverUri to https://MailExt.contoso.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml but the name still says MailInt and I continue to get the SSL cert warnings because it is looking
    at MailInt.contoso.local.

  • Problems with the wifi

Hi, I have some problems with the connection to the wifi. I use a USB wifi pen from Belkin that uses the zd1211-firmware. I don't remember now the model but I think it isn't important because my wlan0 interface is recognized perfectly, I installed properly the firmware (although I think that it was installed yet) and in fact, i can connect to internet manually.
Always I'm connected to the same wifi connection then I don't need special configurations to laptops, but I want to use dhcp. Then, in /etc/rc.conf I added wlan0="dhcp", wlan_wlan0="wlan0 essid ... key s:..." and, of course, I added wlan0 to the list of interfaces.
The problem is that when I start the computer the connection fails and to connect I must do manually the next:
    ifconfig wlan0 up
iwconfig wlan0 essid.... (the same thing I put on /etc/rc.conf)
    dhcpcd wlan0
On one hand, I would like that internet works automatically (provisionally I add the three lines to rc.local)
On the other hand, I want that I can choice the internet connection graphically from the desktop environment (kde, in my case), since now it doesn't shows nothing about internet connection, it simply works because my trick on rc.local, and I can't choice another wifi connection if I would.
    Thank you for your help.

Wireless is not meant to be configured in rc.conf (which is documented in rc.conf itself if you have kept it up to date).
If you have just one network connection, install netcfg, it has plenty of sample configurations, among which one for WEP.

  • Space problems with the SAP Database MS SQL 2000

    Hi,
Actually, I have a size problem with the database, I have MS SQL Server 2000 with Service Pack4 on a Windows 2003 Server environment that is my DataBase Server of my ERP ECC 6.0. On the other hand I have a storage where I have 229 Gb of free space used only for the database files of the SAP data and the SAP log file.
But when I check the DB space allocation on trx. DB02 I saw this:
3 Database files and 1 transaction log:
The 3 database files are: PRDDATA1 (size 15,313 MB used 15016 MB) , PRDDATA2 (size 14106 MB used 13984 MB), PRDDATA3 (size 14472 MB used 14352 MB) and the log file is PRDLOG1 ( size 1000 MB) all of them with no limit option and growth by 10%.
So I went to the SQL Enterprise Manager and I saw that my Database PRD properties and I got this information:
My database size is 44892.48 Mb size with only 1330.36 Mb of free space and that is alarming.
So the question here is how ,if I have a storage where the sap data is storing with 229 Gb of free space, can I make the database files grow up in order to use all the available space of my storage.
Can you help me please because it is critical being my productive system?

I resolved this issue myself. Thanks for all your help.

  • Problems with the processor , fan , and energy consumption

    Hello .
Well , for some reason , my two years old laptop started to behave in a weird way . I just ignored the slight slowdown with the boot because I believe it's to be expected with any machine but that's not the issue . Aside from the annoying fact that Windows 7 doesn't seem to make full use of the RAM and thus it only uses HALF - yes , HALF - of my 6 GB RAM , my PC seems to slow down regulary while I browse the internet . I recently knew about the task manager and decided to take a look to be shocked at how much RAM Firefox and Google Chrome use . Along with other necessary system tasks - which almost don't count - , they alone take 30% of the RAM capacity . That's unfortuenately isn't the issue either because I can close any of them when I want to work on other stuff . The issue here is that for no apparent reason , my processor seems to work harder than is necesarry even when the programs I see in the task manager don't need 5% of it's full potential ! With such work it heats up . On Toshiba Health Monitor I see it going to 70-75% in heat and the fan kicks up to 85% to cool it down . Of course , that leads to rapid power consumption that can suddenly shoot from 17% to terrible 60% with ABSOLUTELY NO PROGRAMMS CURRENTLY AT WORK ASIDE FROM WINDOW EXPLORER .
The good thing is that it doesn't happen all the time but it still worries me . Any ideas ?

See my post on your other thread to obtain your model and part numbers. It's difficult to discuss your unit's use of RAM and other problems without that info.

  • Problems with the jax-rpc testcase from the JWSDP tutorial

    Hello.
I have e few problems with the hello case from the JWSDP tutorial.
Everything works fine during the build/compile/installation phase but when I'm accessing the url http://localhost:8080/jaxrpc-hello/jaxrpc, the server wont find the service and I get:
404 The requested resource (/jaxrpc-hello/jaxrpc) is not available.
I've trippel checked the environment settings and other properties and I don't know where to go to error check.
I've tried to install the client as well but it wont detect the service so I guess there is a problem on the server side.
I'm quite new to the whole "Web Service thing" So I would be happy to get som help.
    Chris

if you run the tomcat manager application at http://localhost:8080/manager/list, what do you see? I suppose if you have successfully run the ant "install" task after "compile-server" and "xrpcc-server", you will see that your service is registered with its context path, but is not "running". This will be probably because of a runtime error. For further diagnosis of errors like these, I recommend to take a look at the log file at "<%JWSDP_HOME%>/logs/catalina.out".
If you are satisfied with this answer, please be so kind and assign some of your duke dollars to me ;-)

  • Problems with the function RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES

    Hi experts,
We have a external application named P-Synch that is used when a user needs to change or unlock their password on our SAP system. The problem we are presenting is that in our PBP system the application is working fine but in our BW and XI environment when the P-Synch application call the function RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES in SAP it can't take the result of the field 'expiration_date' because for some reason the output for this field is not in the same position that is in the PBP system.
    Example:
This are the output that we receive in the environments with the function RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES :
    PBP:
    000001ú320020401*99991231*AESSUSER
    BWP:
    0000200408039999*1231AESS*USER
As you see in PBP P-Synch can take the expiration date (in bold) in the correct position '99991231'.... but for some reason in BWP the function present the expiration date in the incorrect position '1231AESS', for that reason the P-Synch application can't change or unlock the user of a person because terminate with error with the expiration date.
Exist a way that I can fix this?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Carlos,
Few days back i also faced some problem with the RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES.
May be you can try with RFC_READ_TABLE instead. Not much difference in the way you call the 2 FMs. From my experience i can tell, RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES returns some garbage characters which RFC_READ_TABLE does not.
For details refer to this [link|RFC_READ_TABLE v/s RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES;.

  • Has anyone had any problems with the 10.0.3 upgrade?

I'm running WinXP and presently have Adobe Reader 9.4.3.  Before I upgrade I would like to find out if anyone has had any problems with the new release?  The last time I upgraded an Adobe product (Flash) it screwed up my ability to watch videos on my browser.
    Any information would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Spin45

Adobe Reader has the original 10.0.0 with its associated vulnerabilities and the patch of 10.0.1 which seems unable to run in protected mode in my environment or any that have roaming profiles.  The vulnerabilities that prompted the last two patches (would have been 10.0.2 and 10.0.3) have been forgone by Adobe, because "Protected Mode mitigates those vulenrabilities".  See here:  http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb11-06.html
    and here: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/advisories/apsa11-02.html
In my opinion, Reader X is not ready, they are soliciting for testers for a new release.  Version 9 with its attendant problems seems to be the only viable solution for me, if I can get the patches to apply properly, and the installer to work properly.
