Serial Number overlapping in PRD server

Hi Friends,
In DEV Server the program is working fine. But in PRD Server, the serial no of the last digit is
getting interchanged when taking print out!
How to solve this issue?

in my career earlier stage, i post this question. and also i got the solution long before. and now i update the solution for my issue .
this is my question
Using smartforms i design the layout ( installation certuificate), in that need to display serial no field .
In development server the output of the serial no is come good. after testing all cases we move the request from Development to Quality server. in Quality server also display the serial no come good as its in DEV server. but in PRD server in the output
last no of the serial no( is overlapped) .
Solution
in SPAD settings check the corresponding device type SAPWIN in both QAS and PRD.
save & activate in QAS and move the transport request from QAS to PRD.
and we check the output in PRD and found Ok

Project Serial Number column in Project Server 2013 (PWA)

Whenever any new projects are created on Project Server 2013, they are arranged automatically by Alphabetical order. So i would like to know or need support through which i can create serial number column in Project Center so that projects are aligned. as

It is actually 2 questions.
First you want to create a unique ID for projects? Here is an excellent
blog about this subject.
Then you want to sort projects along a number? It could be a custom number field or the unique ID above. You just have to go to the server settings, manage views and go to the "sort by" section and select your number field.
Note that the field used to sort the project center view must be in the view to be used as a sorting criteria.

Can't enter serial number in server admin

I inadvertently entered the incorrect mac os x 10.4 serial number on a machine (Server 2 ) which disabled another machine (Server 1) with the same number. Now workgroup manager won't work on Server 1. All the items listed under computers and services are grey out, the serial number fields are blank and I can't enter data. Server number two is offline and the drive has been erased.
Does anyone know how to reenter the serial number or do I need to rebuild server 1? I was hoping to be able to be able to just reenter the numbers. If not any tips on using the migration tool to transfer server 1 settings to server 2. Any suggestions are appreciated.

serversetup might help. man serversetup for usage. You should be able view, validate and set the serial number. The tool is located in /System/
Library/ServerSetup.
To show the server’s software serial number:
sudo serversetup -getServerSerialNumber
To set the server software serial number:
sudo serversetup -setserverSerialNumber serialnumber watermarkinformation
Where serialnumber is a valid Mac OS X Server software serial number, as found on the packaging.

Os x server serial number

i want to re-enter the os x server serial number without reinstalling the server. can this be done?
i want to do this because although the serial number is correct, the site license information below it is wrong (viewed in server admin).
when i highlight that information and press delete on the keyboard the information disappears but once i hit the save button the site license information appears again.
i need to remove the site license information as i believe it's giving me serial number problems. i don't have a site license so those fields should be blank. randomly the server kills all services and in server admin i've seen "invalid serial number" and also "duplicate serial number".

It is also worth asking the question, "…is anyone, anywhere also using this license key?" With the release of Mac OS X 10.4.7, OS X Server began checking to see if its license was 'in use' on any other platform. Again, such an instance will produce the result you see, and the fact that someone else's site information appears suggest that you have installed a duplicate key, intentionally or in error.
Check to see that your key is accurately entered to eliminate this possibility, or contact Apple through your enterprise representative or through (800) APL CARE to determine why this sort of error occurs.

Serial Number Invalid OSX Server 10.6.6

We have several servers and several serial keys. One of our servers has completely stopped responding in Server Admin. (All Services are "grayed out" and unavailable and the Serial Number is listed in Server Admin as "XSVR - 111-222-x-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-x"). I have read several threads about this issue, but none seem to be resolving my problem.
I have tried to:
Disable the non-used ethernet ports.
Enter a new serial number via - Server Admin-Settings-General.
Remove the Server from Server Admin completely and then re-add it.
Run "sudo RegisterSeRV -s" in the Terminal.
Nothing is working to resolve this problem. Does anyone have any new insight or suggestions for resolving this problem?

We have a similar problem on our 10.6.5 XServe.
Three queries for you in your environment.
Do you have any processes that are running taking a huge portion of server resources? If so is it servermgrd?
Under Console do you see anything re-occurring consistently, especially something about serialnumberd?
Is your server dual-homed over two networks?
Any information you can provide is appreciated, hopefully assist us in resolving these issues!

Any Invalid Serial Number Installation Issue With PSE 12 - PE 12 Windows or Mac ?

Today I went from Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 tryouts to the purchased boxed versions that came with two installation discs. One of the discs was for Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 Windows and the other for these versions on Mac.
On Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit desktop computer, I was hit with Invalid Serial Number for the installation of Photoshop Elements 12 which I did first. Tried 4X, double and triple checking to make sure this was not "user error". It was not. On the 5th try, the purchased serial number was accepted and the installation went to a successful completion.
Tonight a friend alerted me to reports of similar happening for a lot of Photoshop Elements 12 Mac users. See the link posted at the top of my post.
At no time did I see this problem with Premiere Elements 12 installation from the same disc as for Photoshop Elements 12 installation.
Afterward, I installed these programs with the same installation disc on my laptop computer Windows 8 64 bit, I did not have any problems with either installation.
At this time, I do not know if this Invalid Serial Number is elusive to Photoshop Elements 12 or not.
If anyone is experiencing this problem with Premiere Elements, please let us know.
From the link above, it would appear that Adobe is working on the issue.

In my case, I had the network firewalls and anti-virus disabled when I did the installs of Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7 64 bit as well as Windows 8 64 bit.
I was fortunate in that a 5th try of the serial number entry for the Photoshop Elements 12 install on Windows 7 64 bit was successful, so I did not have to do the computer restart and retry of the install with the purchased serial number. But, good to keep in mind, just in case.
It is ironic...last time around I got caught up in the Shared Technologies issues with Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 on Windows 8 64 bit, not Windows 7 64 bit. But, in that case, I did find my way eventually to a successful install on Windows 8 64 bit. This time around it was Windows 7 64 bit where the glitch occurred, but, for me, only for Photoshop Elements 12.
But, could you clarify...are you generalizing that Photoshop Elements 12 Mac Invalid Serial Number is due to server issues and Invalid Serial Number encountered by Photoshop Elements 12 Windows is "online - due to some firewall or network issues"?
Just getting prepared for if and when more questions on Invalid Serial Number might pop up in this forum.

Customer information screen not showing when installing photoshop CS2 -- cannot enter serial number

I own Adobe Premier CS2. When I run photoshop installation, customer information screen is not showing. So I cannot enter serial number. I have serial number.

Old school with CS2. Haven't used in a while and am unable to use the program as it says my serial number is invalid. Customer service tells me the server for CS2 has been shut down. Then they sent me here for help. Does anyone have any advice?

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

My iPhone serial number and IMEI is not the same as Apple server

Hello,
My problem started when I want to unlock my iphone 3gs via Imei.
My old iphone broke about a month after i bought it (it was 2 years ago), so i sent it to Movistar to change it (i think that they sent it to appleCare). Now Movistar told me that i have to send the old iphone imei in order to unlock the iphone i have now, i ask apple for the repair order receipt, then i received an email and i could see the information about the 2 iphones: the old broken one and the new one.
Then I realized that the iphone they sent me as a replacement (the new one) is not the same iphone i have. The serial number and the Imei are different, so, should apple change this data in their server in order to unlock my iphone or what can i do to solve it?
There is any formal way to perform this data change?

Here we work with repairs for devices that does not have waranty (expired or other issue). In this case, I did the screen replacement. No other ipad was on my station, the ipad arrives, i took it change the glass, put everithing back, give to customer. Thats it. The job was done by me, the customer test his ipad in front on me, works fine, everything ok. Few days pass and he came back saying that it wasn't his ipad, he brings the box that the ipad came and ask me why the serial number does not match the serial number in the box (sorry NOT in the back of the ipad).
There were no other part changed only glass. After 7 years working on this, thats the first customer complaining about a work done here. After this I was curious and look for more information and some forums, also one port here is claiming that the serial number on the device is not the same as the box where it came.
I just want to make sure that there are possibilities that there could be such mistake during the packaging process.

OSX 10.2 Server serial number?

I hope there is an obvious answer for this. I bought four G4 xServers from a Japanese company that closed it's USA operations. When I booted them up I found they still contained data and user accounts in Japan. I received the complete pack of 10.2 Server install discs with them so I reformatted the drive and installed a new copy of 10.2.
After reboot the assistant asks for the server software serial number from the CD envelope and gives an example of the format a-111-bbb-222-ccc-333-ccc-eee-f. The sticker on my CD envelope has numbers but nothing that states serial number and the format is not as above. Mine begins zx 122602 ...... I can't find a serial number anywhere else in the envelope.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

This behavior sounds like it may be the wrong media type. Is it possible you have an internal CD and an install DVD? If this is the problem one possible solution is to image the DVD to an external hard drive and boot from that. It's much faster than optical as well.

Task server two copies and serial number.

I have two issues. Firstly, I'm assuming because I only have a one 10 client version of ARD 3 I only have very limited functionality (i.e. no TASK server ability)?
Secondly, I'm asked for the product serial number every time I start up ARD.
This can't be right can it? I understand the lack of a second license with respect to functionality (but it is a bit misleading).

A single copy can still run as a task server. You just can't have ARD installed on a second system to be a dedicated task server and report collector unless you have two copies of ARD.
Brian, I haven't seen anything to indicate that there are any differences in functionality between the 10-user and Unlimited User versions of ARD other than the number of managed systems. But I could have missed it somewhere.
