Smartform label printing- page setting

Hi,
I am printing labels on a Zebra printer, I am having two questions here.
1> While printing, it starts from 8mm away from the left margin(label border). it should be max 2MM.
The window left margin start from 0.10 CM and also the paragraph used is left aligned. Printer setting is also looks fine to me in SPAD. Is there any way to adjust the left margin and top position etc. Any idea on this?
2> I am printing barcode new technology. Here I am not able to set the height and width(we can set in old tech). So, in case I am having multiple barcodes on a single label they are coming in diff lenght. Is there a way out to display all of them with the same dimension?

Hi,
In Smartforms in form attributes -> in out put options you eill be uising a style,
Againg to to tcode smartform - > select radio butrton STYLE. you can create your own formats in them,
You have options to adjust characters inch, Tab top amd Lines per inch.
You have options to Set Spacing in INDENTS AND SPACING tab, IN TABS tab you can set the tab position for each Paragraph.

Smartform label print

Hi !
We have set up labelprinting (Zebra) for GI and GR, and have created a smatforms for this. And it works fine.
A new set of labels is to be set up, and the recuirement is to print the text vertically.
Does anybody know the setup in the smartform for this ?

Problem printing horizontal text in smartform with zebra Z6M label printer

The situation is this:
There is a Z smartform wich prints a label to a zebra Z6M label printer with the text and barcodes vertically.
The form have a command in the main windows with the parameter: S_LZPL_SETUP '^FWR'
This label works fine, but the client want to change the form, they have told me to create a new smartform and print the info horizontally, using the same printer.
The tests i have done are the following:
create a smartform from ground and write a template text and a barcode with a new font of system barcodes. the bardoce is shown ok(it is shown horizontally), the problem is that the template text is shown vertically, as in the original smartform.
then i tried on another zebra ZM600 label printer, similar model, but not the same, and the smartform printed was ok (text and barcodes shown horizontally). So i think is a configuration setting problem, but i dont know where to search.
i have checked the label printer parameters in SPAD, but didnt find anything souspicios.
have you any idea?

under standard settings give the bar code name
use this style in ur smartform. select the data field which u want to barcode print and assign the character format

2) Now when you go to SE73 if you enter SBP00 for you device it will add the newly created Prefix
Create a character format C1.Assign a barcode to the character format.Check the check box for the barcode.
The place where you are using the field value use like this
<C1> &itab-field& </C1>.
You will get the field value in the form of barcode.

Detailed information about SAP Barcodes
A barcode solution consists of the following:
a barcode printer
a barcode reader
a mobile data collection application/program
A barcode label is a special symbology to represent human readable information such as a material number or batch number
in machine readable format.
There are different symbologies for different applications and different industries. Luckily, you need not worry to much about that as the logistics supply chain has mostly standardized on 3 of 9 and 128 barcode symbologies - which all barcode readers support and which SAP support natively in it's printing protocols.
You can print barcodes from SAP by modifying an existing output form.
Behind every output form is a print program that collects all the data and then pass it to the form. The form contains the layout as well as the font, line and paragraph formats. These forms are designed using SAPScript (a very easy but frustratingly simplistic form format language) or SmartForms that is more of a graphical form design tool.
Barcodes are nothing more than a font definition and is part of the style sheet associated with a particular SAPScript form. Next you need to set the font for that parameter value to one of the supported barcode symbologies.

Smartforms - template printing on the wrong page

Greetings, everyone.
I've been searching the SAP library and the forum, but haven't come across a solution.
I created a form in Smartforms, with two pages defined: "first_page" (with the "main" window, 15 cm high, and some secondary windows), and "other_page"
(with only the main window - 27 cm high).
Inside the "main" window there are two templates, first is 2,7 cm high, the second 12 cm.
The problem is that if I set the second template for "currently" vertical alignment, it keeps printing on the "other_page", while it should fit in the "main" window on the "first_page", according to my calculations.
Setting the vertical alignment to "absolute (from top)" seems to solve the problem, but that's out of the question, since later I will want the second template to be printed in a loop.

Issue : Command to move print content left/right in Smartform label for zebra printer.
Requirement : If you changed the printer setting top position and left position, Print should start from a specific (X,Y) position.
I am facing an issue while printing a smartfroms in different zebra printer. We had tried all
S_LZPL_SETUP_X (Where X is LH/SPD/MD/PM/FT )
But these command are not working in smartforms.
We had used ZPL II printer command like u2018LH X,Yu2019 and u2018FT,X,Yu2019 in main window as well as in subsequent windows. But that also not working.
Please advice.

Hi,
If you follow notes #750002 and #750772 and use a smartforms and device type LZEB2, then the you cn just adjust the position of the text in the smartform. e.g. Use tab-stops, spaces or adjust the position of the window. There is no need to use ZPL2 commands directly.

Smartform - HCM - Print two paychecks/remuneration by page

Hi.
SAP ECC 6.0.
I need to develop a Zsmartform to print two documents (front/back) per page (landscape). The client needs it in SAP because they already have the same functionality in legacy system and want it same way in SAP.
I thought to solve it by creating a smartform with two pages (one to print front and other to print back) in landscape.
To the first (front/landscape) page, creating two equal windows (side by side) with same size and structures type. To do this, I use a rotine/form (inside smartform windows) to read exact employee data to each window, but program calls smartform sending two employee data using the same mixed in the strutcture.
E.g.:
PAGE1: Employee1 and Employee2 front.
PAGE2: Employee1 and Employee2 back (each back match with its correct employee).
I guess it's quite complex, but is it possible ?

Kindly set the print mode = d(duplex printing). the overflow data from 1st page will flow to next page, i.e. back page.
Hope this info is sufficient to solve ur issue.

I need to change the page setup to an unusual size for label printing

Hello. I'm trying to print a label that is 2" wide x 1-1/2 high. Firefox defaults to 8-1/2" x 11" or A4 page size and I've been unable to figure out how to change the default size to 2" x 1-1/2".
I've cleared all the margins to zero and removed all header and footer information. But how do I change the size to 2" wide x 1-1/2" high?
When I print, it will print the label correctly. However, it spits out 11" of labels instead of stopping at 1-1/2"
The printer is set up to accept the size (it's a Zebra label printer), but Firefox appears to be sending a page size that is different.
Any help here would be most appreciated.

Thanks for your answer. Instead of formatting through FireFox, I had to go in and format it via the printer. Duh! Feel stupid not doing this first. If any one else has this problem, I was able to set it up on the printer by going to Printers > Printer Properties > Printer Preferences and set it up. Good luck and thank you for your reply.

Hi simonp, To set the paper size to be printed on, please follow these steps: 1. Open an application such as TextEdit. 2. Go up to File and select Print, or press the CMD+P keys on your keyboard. 3. Locate the PAPER SIZE field, then select the LETTER paper size. 4. Look for the drop-down menu labeled PRESETS, then expand this menu and choose SAVE AS.
5. Type in a name of your choice for this default setting, then click OK.
You will now be able to select the above created preset from any application you print from, with the default paper size being Letter. Hope this helps!

Yes, all sounds correct.
Second, I heard that adding a b/g AX to the network will slow everything down to b/g speeds but I have also read that simply using B/G AX's to add speakers by joining the network will not slow down the N network....which is it?
The b/g AX devices will not slow down the network unless they are actively streaming AirTunes. Even then, audio streaming does not require a great deal of bandwidth, so for the most part, the effect would be negligible. Don't worry about it.
Is my network slowed down to b/g speeds because of my speaker set up or not?
The speed on your network will depend on a number of factors..are you downloading something while copying something else? Are you simply browsing? How far is the computer from the closest wireless access point?
You can check your current available bandwidth on your local network by doing the following:
Hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the fan shaped AirPort icon at the top of the screen. Look for the Transmit Rate number.
"g" wireless = 54 Mbps
What do you see?
Oh, and by the way, I don't know if this matters, but while the time capsule serves as the main base station, it is in bridge mode because it is plugged into a 2wire gateway router.
If the Time Capsule is in bridge mode, it cannot act as the main base station. If you want, you could think of it that way if you are using the wireless on the Time Capsule as your preferred network, but the Time Capsule is not the "main" router.

2.Just copy the standard program into Zprogram and make chanes and assign in NACE with the form.
3.But,in smartform lable printing is not possible.

Error in smartform when printing multiple pages

Hi,
I m using a smartform which have two pages in it,
i m able to save and activate it without any error message and when i run the function module generated to chk my smartform
it runs fine and diplays two pages i m using.
but as i m attaching this form with my driver program it is giving an error message while running . the error message is " No other output defined in main window."
Please help me out to resolve the issue.

I primarily print photos from Photoshop CS5. The term Page Set-up has gone missing in the file pull down menu. Can't make any choices There are no page sizes, paper types, appearsto be locked on a 13x19 size paper format. Either being too large or too small.
Saw a 2008 locked issue about this however none of the help fit my situation, options discussed are not available to me.
Preview has no "Page Setup" - or does it?
Does the constant struggle with computer compatability weirdness issues ever end or is it a enslavement scheme?

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.
