Smartform Special Charectors

Hi All ,
     Thank you all in advance .
    I have an issue with smartform.
   There is a description field of char 40 . The value of that field fetched is Driver - Forklift .
   when i check the print preview of the smartform , in the output it is dispalyed as Driver # Forklift .
   The special charector '-' is changed to #.
   I had checked in the debugging mode , the value generated from table is Driver - Forklift . But only in the output it is changing to Driver # Forklift .
   Let me know if any one can solve this issue ,

Check whether that font is present or not if it is not present then upload
To upload font first locate ur file for that font in this case VERDANA,
normally u will find this file in C:\windows\font copy that file from there in
some other directory. then goto transaction code SE73 give ur font name
in SAP starting with Z and give ur font file path.

Smartform-Special Polish Characters

Hi All,
I am sending a smartform output through email and fax.I am using standard texts for displaying the header texts in polish language.When it's in the preview it shows perfectly,when converted to PDF special characters are not displayed.
When I used program RSTXPDFT to convert the standard text to PDF,it works fine.When I use those texts in smartforms special characters are not displayed.
Any ideas please...

Smartforms special formatting

Hi there,
at one of our customers we created an invoice form using smartforms. They used to have a sapscript form for the invoice. There they used to include the character format in the material text - e.g. <H>Water pump</> - which led to a specially formatted output - in this case in bold print. They had nothing to do but to print this text in the form using an ordinary variable &VBDPR-ARKTX&.
Now they want me to achieve the same using smartforms.
Using these format characters in a long text (like VBBP 0001) results in a correct output - but in a short text it won't work.
Has anyone of you a clue on how to do it?

Hi Igolf,
If you want to try-out all the various formats for your text, then you need to create those character formats in your 'styles'.
Select the text, and choose the character format you want to apply.i.e similar to having as &VBDPR-ARKTX&</>.
In you case, check if you declared H as Character format BOLD?
Hey, its possible to have the formatting in the text itself, only when, you define the same character formats(same name and format) e.g: H-Bold, I-Italic etc
so, your text will be 'Material <H>Office clips</> are used extensively</> in ofice.'.

Cannot copy and paste text in word,excel or text file

Cannot copy and paste in word,excel or in text file. It get paste in special charector.
Eg.

Yesterday i update Yosemite and Adobe Photoshop CS6
i found error text message like you everytime when i used fontAwesome on Adobe Photoshop CS6 and then i found out to fix this problems Yeahh…
Try My Way to fix it out
-> copy The Text you want to use
-> paste your text (from your clipboard) To App TextEdit
-> then Copy again
-> back to Photoshop paste it on your document layout
-> Done

Invalid character error during load to cube

I have char length 30 and i trying to populate the cube field zpacreanm with values
"barrier" in transformation, please help me should i reduce the length of char to 10
or what should be th solution of error below.
Error
Value 'barrier' (hex. '004E0065007700410063007100750069007300690074006900') of characteristic ZPACREANM contains invalid Character
Please help me asap to resolve will really appreciate

Hi,
U can do in this way also.......
actually there are no special charectors in ur text, the problem is u r trying to input lower case letters, u either change the lower case letters to upper case or
select the check box 'lower case letters' in info object change/create screen for the particular/ relevant info object.

Problem in Smartform convert to PDF with special character

Please use PDF! in print preview command field.. it will convert pdf file.

SMARTFORM problems with special characters

Hi everybody,
only to know if somebody knows how to fix a problem printing special characters in a smartform, instead of some characters the smartform display (Print preview) and prints interrogative symbols "?".
If someone knows about this problem, it will be helpfully for me,

To display Special characters in Smartforms ...
goto text editor of the perticular text node.
in the text editor, Click INSERT - Characters - Displayable Characters.
a new window will open showing all characters...if ur required character is not
present, click on non-dispalyble character button , it displays all the characters
and their respective numbers...select ur required character .
Check it, if it is helpfull reward points..

Even I checkd the same in Slovakian language and same thing is happening.

Problem printing Special Characters in Smartform

I am developing a Smartform for Position Description. For that I have to display data from table HRT1002 as the data in this table is stored using Text Editor the data internally is stored in '#' when there is a enter, space or some special Characters. While displaying this data I have used class CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES -->HORIZONTAL_TAB to make '#' to it original value in my internal table.
After using the Class the data has been converted into the correct format, but while printing few special characters like ", ' , .. etc are been printed as # where as in my internal table they are not in # format. How can I change the # to it original Character while printing.

In Text Element,click Txt editor icon on the left side in General attributes.Then in the menu Include->Characters->Displayable Characters and then select the characters.

Rajesh,
Declare a range which includes all the possible special characters and then compare the field with this range and replace the special characters with 'Z'.
Q4-SIGN = 'I'.
Q4-OPTION = 'EQ'.
Q4-LOW = '%'.
APPEND Q4.
Q4-LOW = '$'.
APPEND Q4.
Q4-LOW = '^'.
APPEND Q4.
use CA keyword and replace all the special character occurences which falls in the declared range with the character you want ie. 'Z'.

No Special Charaters in SMARTFORM

My name is Oscar i'm from Portugal and i have the following problem,
My Smartforms can´t display the special characters like "Ç" or "È" or "Á" in Portuguese
After i did a undo of a supplementation of the Portuguese Language in English.
I've already searh in this forum, but all i can found, it's for only one special character at each time.
can you help me?

Special Character in Smartforms

Hi,
I need to display "u20AC" before the amount field in the smartforms. But the problem the u20AC is not present in the displayable characters in the text, and is also not present in the non-displayable characters in the text. Pls let me know how to print the symbol u20AC - if i am directly copying and pasting it then i am getting the error - " The input field contains prohibited characters (already deleted) "/ Pls help me in overcoming this problem'

How to print the superscript in smartform

Hi gurus,
Please tell me the procedure how to print the superscript in middle of the text displaying?
when we are displaying the smartform its converted to some special character like & .

see my requirment was to print TM as superscript for HLL ,already smartstyle is there, and also a character format with superscript is also defined.
then aftet HLL how it prints as superscript.
for HLL we are using another character format and for superscript we are using the another character format.
If posiible send me the code to write in smartforms

Error while Activating a Smartform!!

This smartform was first developed in 4.6 version in german language. Now, its being done in ECC 6.0 version with changes in naming conventions of the fields and the hardcode values in the logic.
After the changes made to the fields names or table names or hardcoded values. it resulted with warnings. Now when i try to Activate it. It pops and information message stating that "A serious error has occurred
The transaction had to be terminated
Press the "Yes" button
to download the data required for further support to the front end"

if selected 'NO', then an error message pops up stating " Internal error (illegal structure of data storage)" for which i need to either choose the 'EXIT' button which would take me out of the transaction.
Please let me know as to resolve this problem and what could i do to get the smartform activated.
