Smartforms Multiple Prints Problem

Hello,
We have developed a smartform, and this smartform gets called in a loop from the driver program.
We have user control parameters-no_open and no_close so that print dialog should appear only once and there should be only 1 spool generated.
The problem is when we click on Print Preview we are able to see multiple pages as per the documents selected.
But when we click on Print the spool which gets generated has only 1 page.
Please suggest if there is any setting or something related to this.

I am confused. You have one spool request. How many pages does it have, according to SP01?
And you can do a print preview there and see 10 pages in SP01, as I understand ?
So your problem is that when you print this request, only one page is printed out?
Pls explain in more clarity. Possibly a raw display of the job data in SP01 might help...

  • Printing problems with InDesign CS3 running on OS 10.6

I recently upgrade my old G4 Mac (OS 10.4) to a new Mac Mini running OS 10.6.6. I am still running CS3 and have encountered only one problem. When I print multiple copies documents from InDesign that contain several layers, each copy is processed separately, so that it can take several minutes just to send the print job to the printer if I'm printing over 20 copies. Then once the print job is processed the printer pauses between every copy, which is tripling the printing time. If I print a simpler document with only one or two layers it processes all the copies at once, as it should. I am printing on an Okidata 6150 color laser printer.
I never had this problem on my old computer. I'm wondering if this is one of the "unsupported" bugs of running CS3 on Snow Leopard. I want to make sure that this is a problem unique to running CS3 with Snow Leopard before I go ahead and upgrade to CS4 or CS5.
computer: Mac Mini core 2 duo 2.4 ghz processors, 4 gb RAM, printer: Okidata 6150 DN color laser printer.

    Hi again Peter
It is version 5.0.4.  I updated it when I newly installed it a week ago in my new computer, and then again updated it just yesterday.
I might mention that before I got my new computer, I was running Mac OS 4.11, and was using InDesign 3.0.  I had bought InDesign CS3 about a year ago, but hadn't gotten around to using it since version 3.0 had been working fine, and I was used to it.  Then, when I got my new computer, I decided it was time to use the newer version.  However, while using InDesign 3.0 with the old Mac OS 4.11, a printing problem popped up there, too, a few months ago... and it also involved printing problems with Adobe Reader.  I contacted Adobe, and they sent me a patch which fixed it.  I will contact Adobe again if need be, although I thought I'd start here first to see if it was a common enough problem that someone might be able to provide a free and routine answer.

I neglected to ask what version of indesign CS3 you are using. I also
notice that Mac OSX 10.6.4 has just been released. It actually
addresses some CS3-specific issues, though they seem to be related to
launching the apps, not printing. It may be worth trying to update,
    nonetheless.

  • Duplex Printing Problem - Word 2007, Vista and HP Officejet Pro L7780

I'm having trouble with duplex printing on my new HP Officejet Pro L7780, from Word 2007, running on a brand new Vista system.  I've also had this same problem (repeatable) with two other computers, running XP Professional/Word 2003, XP Home/Word 2003.  All of the service packs have been installed for the operating system, word, and printer.
If you print a landscape document, using the auto duplex setting for the HP printer, the margins will print out offset by .25 inches, on the left and rigt margins.  So if your margin is 1 inches on right and left, the margins will print to .75 on one side and 1.25 on the other.  This would be annoying, except that I'm trying to print brochures and books, which requires that the pages print out exactly as set up... "close enough" isn't working for me
The way I have replicated this problem is as follows:  set up a document in landscape format, using the default margins.  Insert an image on page one, size it so it takes the full margin area.  On the second page, fill it up with text.  Print the document, selecting the printer properties and setting Print on Both Sides=Automatic.   The easiest way see the problem is by holding the document up to the light.  The front and back margins should match and they don't.
Any help you can provide would be very much appreciated.
    Diana

    Diana,
This problem is perhaps much larger than you might have imagined.  We have tried to work with Hewlett Packard for over two years on the duplex printing problems.  In the process, we have expended over 100 hours of effort in troubleshooting the problem which has included updating software, reinstalling software, developing test documents, escalating issues, submitting technical findings, and in purchasing replacements.  Unfortunately, our efforts to interact with Hewlett Packard excalated support have resulted in an aire of apathy, disinterest, incompetence, frustration, redundancy, occasional discourtesy, and an outright lack of professional decorum - something inconceivable of a large, reputable company.
We have identified several problems with duplex printing.  The duplex printing problems include irregular margin increases (.25 to .50 inch), margin shifts, cut-off text, compressed text, and compressed graphics.  Please note that most of these problems are only evident when printing documents from computer applications to the printer.  If the user simply uses the front printer panel to copy in duplex mode, these problems are not always evident.  This suggests that the printer mechanics are capable of properly duplexing and that the problem lies in the drivers.
The problem is evident on the HP OfficeJet Pro L7780, Photosmart L7180, Photosmart C6150, Photosmart 3310, and likely on many, many other HP models.  The problem is evident on many computers (HP, IBM, Toshiba, and Dell), is evident in multiple applicatons (Word, Wordperfect, Excel, Peachtree, Notepad, and many more), and is evident on multiple operating systems (Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Media Center Edition, and Microsoft Vista).
We consider ourselves to be extremely polite, patient individuals, but have nearly been driven to outrage by the indignant disregard offered us by HP's escalation support department; a department which should represent the cream-of-the-crop in both service and technical expertise.  Given the ease with which the problem can be duplicated, we expected an extremely quick resolution by HP who, to our knowledge, has never even made the effort to duplicate the problem in-house on our behalf.
Ironically, HP highly advertises their J.D. Powers rated technical support, yet it appears that they actually have extremely poor published consumer rankings in some of today's mainstream computer magazines.  HP technical support makes no apologies for the fact the user cannot use a major feature of their printers, offers no indication that the problem is even being addressed, and off-loads the responsibility by suggesting that we contact Microsoft (who is to blame for this issue).
Thank you, Diane, for your message.  We had a hard time imagining that we were the only one experiencing this problem, especially when HP promotes such a representation.  Which also begs the question why HP plays like the problem does not even exist?  I also fail to understand why HP technical support shows so little interest in a problem that is easily duplicated and adversely affects a major feature of the printer which is commonly used by individuals purchasing equipment for its duplex capabilities.
This is sad because we have been a loyal customer of HP for over twenty-five years.  There was a time when we would have happily endorsed HP's steller products and steller support (provided you could get a problem escalated).  Now, however, they all-too-often appear to offer equipment that fails to support advertised features which is backed up by sub-standard support and extremely expensive ink.  This is an especially sad commentary for users who are buying HP's upper-end printers and computers.
We desire to know if there are others out there experiencing similar problems?  If you have experienced these problems or would like samples of the problems we have duplicated, please respond.  I think the more information we gather, the better our chance of a successful resolution to a serious problem.
    Thanks Everyone!

  • Printing problem when PDF is sent to the printer with certain fonts - missing text

I'm running into a printing problem when PDFs containing certain characters of the Calibri font are used.  The text in large sections of the PDF is missing on the paper version, but the text is there on the screen.  It's also happened when the PDFs we created were e-mailed out to a client and printed on their printer.  The problem is not present when printing directly from the programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).  I've been trying to get tech support from Adobe on this, but every time I call they apologize and say they will call back in 4-6 hours with an answer.  Same result each time, no call back.  If anyone from Adobe is listening, it's case number 184891587.  The font appears as an embedded subset when I look at the document properties.  Sometimes deleting one or two Characters allows for larger text blocks to be printed - i.e. removing a long dash in bold from the heading of a paragraph makes the paragraph reappear when printed to paper from PDF.  In all cases the PDF appears correct on the screen.  Printing as an image allows the text to appear, but the image quality isn't acceptable for small text, even at the 600 dpi setting on the printer.  If the PDF is sent out by e-mail, we do not have control over the end-user's printer setup anyway, so we need this to work in all cases.
The setup/process I'm using is as follows:
    Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-Bit
Microsoft Office 2013 - problem is present when printing documents from Word, Excel or Visio.  Even other variations on documents.
I've tried Acrobat versions 11.0.0 to 11.0.5 as well as Acrobat Pro 11.0.0 and 11.0.1.  Same Result
Printing to Adobe PDF as the printer, from the third party application
Printing to a Xerox printer from PDF using Acrobat - Text missing
Client prints to Konica printer - Text missing
I print to the wide-format Ricoh (which also does 11x17) and the text is present.
Is there something I'm missing?  Is the entire font not getting embedded into the PDF file?  I noticed that rolling back to a much older version of the Calibri font (1.02 compared to 5.72) makes the problem mostly go away, but it's not completely gone.  Is it possible the font is too large to be completely embedded?  Where can I go from here?

Success!  At least for now.  It looks like my problem was fixed with Adobe's most recent update, 11.0.06.  From the release notes:
    PDF creation
Added support for Lotus Notes 9.
Added support for WebCapture in IE 11.
Added support for conversions from AutoCAD 2013.
3652540 A blank pdf is created for files having hidden visual style.
3601108 Flow Chart converts as a multicolored square.
3654345 Word documents missing parts of images in conversion to PDF.
3654572 Temporary file size increases when creating pdf by combining multiple files into one PDF.
3670155 PDF file created with Distiller XI prints incorrectly to some printers. (Emphasis mine)
3599407 Checkbox check marks do not appear in these files.
3663233 IE Web Capture in localized OS: Icons and drop-down menu items are missing and conversion dialog is not localized.
3651931 Chrome Only: Few web pages when converted to pdf from Chrome plugin doesn’t show up the Save As dialog.
3597910 EPM Mode On: Web capture is not working on Windows 8-32 bit when cache folder is missing.
3610644 Firefox 23.0: With Firefox version 23.0 (latest), the WebCapture icon shows up very dim as if it is disabled.
3650244 ODA falis to convert DWG files to PDF for large files.
I don't know if that's definately what solved the problem, but it sure sounds similar and this is the update that made the printing problem go away.  We can't get the PDFs to fail at this point with our printers, even with Calibri 5.72.  I'll come back to thread if we have printing problems at the end-user locations.

  • Printing Problems - HP LaserJet 2100 with USB/Parallel adapter - Print jobs 'hang'

Hoping to get some assistance with a persistent and frustrating printing problem.
I've got an older HP LaserJet 2100 that was working great until recently.  It doesn't have a USB port on it, so I have it connected to my iMac (21" 3.1 gHz, i7) via a USB/Parallel cable.  Up until now I have been forced to us Gutenprint (wss running 5.0.2) as the Apple provided drivers cause the printer to spit out pages upon pages of gibberish.
Recently, when printing the document (or PDF, or whatever) gets sent to the queue, but doesn't seem to fully make it to the printer.  For lack of a better term, it 'hangs' at some percent (47%, 82% etc.) in the queue window and doesn't print.
A few further details that are causing me extreme levels of frustration:
I have reset the SMB and this results in being able to print one page normally, then the system returns to the problem above
OSX can see the printer and I have deleted/added it many times
Printing system has been reset multiple times
On a restart, the first page that was trying to print does print out.  This sometimes happens when the log-in page appears, sometimes when I log back in to my user account.
The printer is connected directly to my iMac and not through a USB hub.
I have another printer (a new HP Officejet 6600) that works without a problem.
    Thanks in advance.

This problem is most likely a deficiency in the parallel-adapter end of that cable. I'd look for another USB-parallel cable.
There used to be a special driver that worked around the limitation of the parallel adapter "data shifter" - but it doesn't appear to be available anymore:

  • Printing Problem with SmartFrom

    Hello,
I'm using smartform to print a certificate .. I have correctly populatedthe data and transferred it to smartform ..
For a single print, the alignment of the data comes proper ..
But when I give 10 to 20 prints, for first 3-4 pages alignment of text remains proper but then the alignment starts going downwards and hence data loss occurs as there is no place to print some texts ..
So just wanted to know what can be the problem or what can be the solution ?? .. I have fixed rthe places of tex still they are going downwards after 3-4 continuous prints !!
    Thanks

    Hi Sohamshah,
be careful with your title. "smart form", "sapscript", etc. are not good titles. Abuse reported.
You should have titled "printing of smart form top margin is changing" or "starting at 4th page, printing of smart form is lower and lower on page" or something like that.
Did you test by printing 10 copies of the same form. Does it occur too?

  • Same condition type on header and item level = printing problem

    Hi
I have a customer using some condition types on both item level and header level in quotations, orders, invoices ...
In the pricing procedures it is customized (V_T683S-DRUKZ) that the conditions must be printed on header level (that is at the bottom of the documents).
My job is to make the Smartform to print the documents, and I want it of course to be as close to SAP standard as possible.
SAP standard will print these conditions on header level even if the conditions are at item level, but my customer wants the conditions created on header level to be printed on header level and conditions created on item level to be printed on item level.
I'm no pricing expert, so my question is:
Will it be fair if I tell the customer that using the same condition types on header and item level is bad practices - or at least bad karma?
    Best regards
    Thomas Madsen Nielsen

    Hi Shiva Ram and Madhu
I have no problem understanding header vs. item conditions, so I really don't see anything in oss note 876617, that is relevant in this case.
Madhu - I do not agree that everything is fine. My issue is that I want to stick as closely to SAP standard customizing as possible. In SAP standard customizing of a condition type you can use the flag V_T683S-DRUKZ to determine if the condition should be printed on header OR item level - you can not choose both header AND item level.
I have a SAP standard smartform using two functions modules for reading header and item conditions. RV_PRICE_PRINT_ITEM and RV_PRICE_PRINT_HEAD. These function modules are based on the DRUKZ customizing flag and a condition marked for printing on header level will be supplied by RV_PRICE_PRINT_HEAD even when the condition is on item level.
My point is: SAP standard customizing does not support printing of same condition on both header and item level. I can of course write tons of code to work around this problem, but that would be bad practices

  • Smartform-PDF-Printer fonts

    Hi Folks,
Here we have designed a Invoice-smartform and converted it into PDF which is by default storing in c-drive as mentioned in the code. When we open the Pdf it is displaying it fine but when given a printout except the logo nothing is getting printed,I mean it is showing all junk characters.May I know what is the problem and how to rectify the same.
    Points will be given.

    Symptom
In some device types (e.g HPLJ4, HPLJ5) you experience non-uniform character spacing in the PDF document after the PDF conversion of SAPscript or Smart Forms documents, using HELVE or TIMES fonts. You want to know the reason.
    Other terms
    CONVERT_OTF, SAPscript, Smart Forms
    Reason and Prerequisites
The problem is not due to an error in the PDF converter but due to the fact, that the printer font, underlying the device type (e.g. Univers or CG Times in PCL-5 device types), is not available for the PDF converter and is either not available in Adobe Reader. The PDF converter has to try to simulate the layout of the printer font by means of a font which is predefined in Adobe Reader. This is done by assigning the letter widths of the printer font to the font used in Adobe Reader.
The PDF file contains a table with letter widths, used by Adobe Reader in the output of text, for each used printer font (except PostScript fonts).
    Example:
    %Charwidth values from HP4300 HELVE 060 normal
    /Widths
    [ 278 333 500 633 633 1000 758 333 333 333 633...
Adobe reader converts this width table, by modifying the space between each character, so that the specified letter width (= space between the current and the next letter) is kept.
This 'Simulation' of printer fonts results in the sometimes visible irregular spaces in PDF.
The PDF converter always uses the Helvetica Adobe PostScript font for the display of HELVE and the Times Roman Adobe PostScript font for the display of TIMES. However, for these Adobe PostScript fonts, Adobe Reader often uses a Windows TrueType font, which differs slightly from the original PostScript font.
    Solution
Workaround: Use the POST2 PostScript device type or the PDF1 PDF device type for the PDF conversion of documents in the Latin-1 character set. They both use the Adobe PostScript fonts Helvetica or Times Roman for the HELVE/TIMES printer fonts.

    Reason and Prerequisites
Help required to choose proper fonts in a SAPscript or SmartForm
    Solution
When using SAPscript or SmartForms to print (or email or fax) a form from a business application, many factors influence the outcome of the actual text within the form. All these factors must be checked in order to ensure a correct printout:
    1) The language version of the form used to produce the printout.
Example: If you want to print a French invoice, you need to have a FR version of your SAPscript or SmartForms invoice form RVINVOICE01. And the application program must specify the corresponding language key (FR) when calling the SAPscript or SmartForms API.
    2) The font selections specified in the form (possibly also in a SAPscript style or SmartStyle used in a form).
Example: In a SAPscript form or a SmartStyle you need to specify HELVE if you want to print German text in Helvetica (or similar) font. If you want to print Japanese text, HELVE is not a valid choice but you need to specify a Japanese font like JPMINCHO in your Japanese form.
    3) The output character set of the device type
Every printer in transaction SPAD has a "device type" assigned. Device types used by the spooler for printing support only one single specific output character set. All text from the form has to be converted (using SAP's built-in character conversion mechanism) to this output character set.
A character set can typically support either a single language (e.g. Shift-JIS which supports only Japanese) or a set of languages (e.g. ISO 8859-1, which supports Western-European languages). It is possible that a given language (such as German) can be supported by several output character sets, e.g. you may use either ISO 8895-1 (Latin-1) or ISO 8859-2 (Latin-2) to represent German text. This is so because both character sets contain the special characters used in German.
Example: HPLJ4000 is a HP LaserJet device type supporting the ISO 8859-1 (Latin-1) character set. ISO 8859-1 can be used to represent e.g. Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish but NOT Russian or Japanese.
As a consequence, it is ok to use HPLJ4000 to print English, German French etc. but not for Japanese or Russian.
    4) The set of available printer fonts for a given device type
When formatting a document, SAPscript and SmartForms perform an automatic mapping of the font definitions in the form (e.g. "HELVE 14 point bold") and the available printer fonts of the device type. A replacement printer font is chosen, should the specified font selection not be available in the device type. Now this replacement can be problematic if a language-specific font, such as Chinese CNSONG, is specified in a form and it gets replaced by a font which does not support this language, e.g. COURIER.
To solve this problem, font families in SE73 have language attribute assigned, e.g. some fonts are characterized as being suitable only for certain languages. And when a replacement has to be chosen because the original font from the form is not available in the device type, a replacement font is chosen which has the same language attributes.
If no fonts for the language in question exist in the device type, the resulting font will not be able to print the special characters and you will see "wrong" output characters in the printout.
    Note on SAPscript/SmartForms Print Preview:
The OTF Print Preview available in Windows GUI (e.g. from transaction SP01) will sometimes not show the "wrong" characters which appear on the final printout. Here is the reason: since the Print Preview runs in Windows environment, it will use Windows fonts to represent the actual printer fonts. A Windows font typically has more available characters (i.e. covers more character sets) than are actually available in a printer's resident font.
A typical example where the Print Preview will differ from the printout is here: if you have a Chinese PCL5 printer such as CNHPLJ4 and use the Western Latin font COURIER in your document, the print preview will show you Chinese characters if you (by accident) tried to format Chinese characters in COURIER font. This is because Windows will automatically choose a font that can output Chinese characters (which is actually not Courier). But when you print the job on an actual PCL5 printer with resident Western and Chinese fonts, the Courier font will not print any Chinese characters but Western special characters instead, because the printer's resident Courier font does not include Chinese characters.
Rule of thumb: all Asian device types (e.g. CNHPLJ4, JPHPLJ4, JPPOST, KPHPLJ4) support not only Asian fonts but also COURIER, HELVE and TIMES fonts. But these Latin fonts can only be used to print English text, not Chinese/Japanese/Korean characters.

OTF or "Output Text Format" is the intermediate page-description format generated from SAPscript or SmartForms. OTF will contain the final printer font names and character set/language identifiers which help to solve the problem. OTF will even name the form and the language of the form used to create the output.
The easiest way to do this is to create a spool request from your application, run transaction SP01, use menu
    Goto->Display Requests->Settings
    and choose
    Display Mode: Raw
Now display your spool request. If this is a SAPscript or SmartForms spool request, you will see OTF data. Each line represents one OTF command, every command starts with a 2-character cmd identifier and possibly some cmd parameters follow.
Here is an excerpt from a sample OTF file where we highlight the most interesting commands:
    //XHPLJ8000    0700 00000000001
    IN04EALEXTEST_ZEBRA
    IN05%PAGE1
    OPDINA4  P 144  240 1683811906000010000100001

    SW00067
    CT00000000
ST0453037Dieses SF hat Stil ALEXTEST_ZEBRA mit
The 1st line with the // (Control) command reveals the device type usedto print: HPLJ8000
    //XHPLJ8000    0700 00000000001
The 2nd line (IN = Info command) shows the name and (internal 1-char)language key of the form:
    IN04EALEXTEST_ZEBRA
In this case it is the English (E = EN) SmartForm ALEXTEST_ZEBRA
The OP-line (OP = Open Page) gives the page format used in the form, it is DINA4 Portrait orientation:
    OPDINA4  P 144  240 1683811906000010000100001
The CP (CodePage) cmd shows the SAP system codepage used to code the text and the active language. In our case it is codepage 1100 and language E = EN = English.
    CP11000000E
Finally, the FC-cmd (Font Call) lists a printer font selected within SmartForms. Please note that every SmartForm has a designated default SmartStyle under "Form Attributes->Output Options". In addition, every text node can have a SmartStyle attached (which will override the definitions from the default style for the text). In our case the resulting printer font that was selected is HELVE 12.0 pt bold-off, italic-off.

  • Lightroom 5.44 printing problem

I am using Lightroom 5.44 on two computers: (1) MacTower with OS X 10.7.5 and a (2) MacBook with OS X 10.7.5. I also use Adobe CS6. (Neither can upgraded to the latest version of Mac OS X). I am printing to an Epson R1800 on a wifi network. After upgrading to Lightroom 5.44 I was able to print two glossy 13x19 images on the Epson R1800 by subsequent efforts to print all hang up at the preparing image for printing stage.  I reinstalled Lightroom 5.44 and the printing problem repsisted. I reinstalled the Epson R1800 printer software/drivers and the proble persists. I am able to print other images from Photoshop CS6 on the MacTower and from Lightroom 5.44 on the MacBook.  Thus the problem appears to be in LIghtroom 5.44 on the MacTower and is not resolve by reinstalling Lightroom.
I note that the Apple Console log has multiple meesages and reports in reponse to the print job, including the following:
5/1/14 1:56:35.291 PM Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5: Could not find image named 'LayoutDirection1.png'.
Is this an Adobe Photshop LIghtroom 5 problem or a Mac OS 10.7.5 problem or both?  How should I proceed?

I have an SSD drive that has my OS and applications.  I looked in the Macintosh SSD/Users/[my username]/Library/Preferences/ directory and I do not have a com.adobe.Lightroom5.plist file.
My old Macintosh HD drive has been renamed "Macintosh HD Archive" and I now use it for file archiving.  it has a Marcintosh HD Archive/Users/[my user name]/Library/Preferences/ directory which contains the preference files for my older versions of Lightroom (Lightroom, Lightroom2, and Lightroom3).
After I installed the SSD drive and used it as my startup disk I have used Lightroom 4 and Lightroom 5.
Lightroom4 and LIghtroom5 have been installed on the SSD drive.  I deleted Lightroom 4 after I installed Lightroom 5.
There is no com.adobe.Lightroom5.plist list file on my Macintosh SSD drive or on my MacIntosh HD Archive drive.
Perhaps the printing problem is due to a failure to create these files with the installation of Lightroom 5.44 on the SSD drive.
I do not recgnize the name "LayoutDirection1.png" as significant any of my images, but its occurence in the console log in association with Lightroom5 at the times print attempt failed suggested that the hangup was due to a missing file.

  • Printing to PDF printer problem

Since April I have been having a problem printing internet documents to a pdf file. When I print bank transaction documents to a PDF printer the form structure prints correctly but the data that goes in the form is all jumbled up in unreadable characters. I just tried to print a Govenment census confirmation to a PDF file using the PDF Printer in Acrobat 9 and it acted like the Bank printing problem. All other printing of PDF documents works fine. I have the latest updates all installed and the problem still is there. This problem did not exist in the first half of March. Any suggestions?

Hi, I am having the same problem on multiple computers starting this spring as you reported.  I just bought a new win 7 64-bit (happens on 32 bit too) and installed Adobe 9 Pro.  First time I used it to print from the web on IE 9 the garbage printing happened.  I've started to use other methods of creating PDFs because the Adope PDF printer is too unreliable, sometimes it works, more often it does not.  The problem also occurs when printing a PDF of a word document.  Fortunately, I can use Word to save in PDF format which does work.
    Very Very Aggravating !!

  • Hp 4050N envelope printing problem

I'm running Win 7 (32 bit) and have installed the most recent UPD (5.1).  MS word works fine, but my dental management program hangs on the first envelope after boot.  If I close the dental program and restart it, everything works!  It's only on the first envelope.  Other print functions are OK.  I think Crystal Reports is integrated into the dental software.  Any ideas?

  • Very Serious Print Problem

    Hi,
I had made a report having CardLayout as its Layout Manager. This report spans multiple pages(i.e. cards).I had problem with this setup e.g. It used to miss some records on each cards + It used to give wrong totals. So I combined all records of all cards into one single card. This way it does not skip the records and also gives totals correctly.
But it has lead to another problem and that is:
In the previous setup of multiple cards there was no printing problem as I used to print each card i.e each page.
But with this modified setup i.e. all records into one card Iam finding it difficult to print as the contents of the report are very vast that it spans vast area both vertically as well as horizontly and so I don't get the info on paper as it gets cut,as the content of the report is very vast.and the content is related that is I cannot affored to either miss on the Horizontal wise cut and neither the vertical wise cut in print.
    IAM IN SERIOUS PROBLEM.
    PLEASE HELP ME.
    IT IS VERY URGENT.
    THANKS.

Yes every time I open the app it makes me accept the EULA or else it won't work as a reader.  That's not the problem. The problem is not being able to print or download the pdf file from the browser after I accept the EULA. Any other suggestions?
