SMS Notification Server error cannot install bgbisapi.msi

I have never experienced this error until now.

I tried editing both installutil and regsvcs by following this blog

I seem to be having all the luck recently. Any suggestiosn for this one?

Obviously it is the /usr part that is killing it

Try running libtoolize -f on the source as first thing to do in the build() function in the PKGBUILD. I've seen many broken libtool scripts in tarballs around, especially on gnome ones (packages using libblabla.14 instead of libblabla.so.14 for example )

Push notification server error

i cannot remove an old push notification server that no longer exists from mail can anyone tell me how to manually REMOVE a push notification server in the mail preferences of the server admin so i can add the current server. my IP changed and i cannot connect/remove the old server name.

I don't have an answer for you, but I wanted to chime in because I am having problems as well. I get the same "The Push Notification System returned an Internal Server Error" message trying to send a test push via either the Debug tab in the manage.windowsazure.com
console or in Visual Studio.
I have been focused on troubleshooting this problem since yesterday (Saturday February 21) but I believe it has been happening quite a bit longer.
At one point I was able to get some notifications through after clearing all the registrations, but now it is failing again. I have had the same certificate since last April (2014) and it has worked fine, so I know the certificate setup is good.
More data points:
using the SimplePush PHP script from
raywenderlich.com with the same certificate, the notifications go through immediately.
Normally we send notifications from our Mobile Service using the Javascript backend, and it gets a "success" response from the Notification Hub even when it fails, e.g.

Content Server error post installing webcenter sites

Hi ,
I installed webcenter sites and post installation after login when click on "Contributor" link getting Content Server error while Admin mode is working fine.
On further debug below URL was internally hit which is giving 500 error : http://<hostname>:<port>/cs/ContentServer?pagename=fatwire/ui/controller/controller&elementName=UI/Layout"
Any pointer to root cause?

In your middle tier (where your dads.conf file is located), do you have a file called marvel.conf (this was used in very early versions of APEX if memory servers)? If so you will either need to put your /pls/apex entry into your marvel.conf file of configure the App Server to user the dads.conf file. (I think all of this is done in the http.conf file but I am not 100%)
Also, this sounds like a stupid question but can you ensure that you only have entry in you dads.conf or marvel.conf file that relates to /pls/apex
If you are still having issues, try updating the line: PlsqlDatabaseConnectString faiz:1521:orcl ServiceNameFormat
to: PlsqlDatabaseConnectString TNS_ENTRY TNSFormat
where TNS_ENTRY is replaced by a valid TNS Identifier in the same Mid Tier home: ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora
Finally, in earlier versions you had to use a forward slash character as the last value in the Alias line i.e. Alias /i/ "E:/oracle/product/10.2.0/db/Apache/images\". I always configure this line in this way and never seem to have an issues. Not sure if this is required anymore but may be one more thing that is mis configured.

500 Server Error after installing MSS

We are getting 500 server error message when click on a specific MSS role after installing MSS on top of existing portal. What could be the issue? Any pointers on where to look?

Application catalog error - cannot install or request software.

Hi All,
I have installed SCCM 2012 SP1 and configured SCCM APP catalog, i am able to browse the portal from a client machine, the portal shows the application which are deployed but when i send a request for the application and after administrators approval
the the app catalog is not able to download the application and the portal shows
"cannot install or request software error message"same is happening with the application without request policy.
What i have tried :-
1. Adding the App catalog URL to the LOCAL Intranet zone.
2.Reinstallation of Application catalog.
But it shows the same error please help.

Seems like it was an MP issue, my MP was not working.
I did the following things :-
1. Remove App Catalog roles.
2. Uninstalled Management Point.
3. Uninstalled IIS.
4. System Restart.
5. Installed IIS.
6. Installed MP.
7. Installed App catalog roles.
Now, it's working.

Oracle notification server error

in the last stages of cluster installation the oracle notification server, it failed
i deleted etc/oracle , the init.crs init.evmd etc files in /etc/init.d/init*
on both nodes , & then tried to rerun the oracle notification server still its showing the same error
/bin/racgons add_config aviv2.gr.com:6200 aviv3.gr.com:6200
even i deleted the ocr,votingdisk & recreated it still the same error
is there any other way to correct it
my username is not oracle is that a problem

Help with error cannot install any apps

can any help solve my error issue. I cannot install any apps. and apman says i have no catalogues. but i do anf i even get ! icon saying i have updates.

k i went to maemoder and tried to remove hildon via restore (strange) then entered the commonds u gave but this is what i got

Installing leopard, error : cannot install software on this computer

hi
i have a macbook 13 inch, new, it's been one month bought it.
i have tiger 10.4.11 and i want to upgrade to leopard.
i had this install disk ( leopard 10.5).
the problem is that, while installing, when i choose the language, an error pop up saying:" cannot install software on this computer"
i have an intel macbook of course

Most of the problems I see of this nature are being caused by people trying to use a "Drop-In" upgrade DVD that was designed for a specific machine.
The problem is that some people think they can run any 'friends' upgrade DVD to upgrade their Mac also.
If this is what's happening, and your computer is really only a month old, then you probably qualify for some type of upgrade from Apple. Or you will have to buy a retail version of Leopard to upgrade your machine.
