SNMP query for multicast group count

I want to get the total number of multicast groups on a switch. Is there an oid that will give me the info (ie. the number that's given by "show ip igmp snooping groups count")? If there is no oid, is there a way query the groups (show ip igmp snooping groups)? I'm thinking with the 2nd option I might be able to count the number of entries returned by an snmpwalk or something and turn that into a number.
Right now i'm logging into the switch with a script and running the command but that might be a problem with all those logins (only every 5 minutes though) so I'd like to do this via SNMP if possible.

Hi,
Well, at the very least, you can create a formula
column in your break group using a combination of the
same where clause as your original query and the
break values for the group so that you are getting
the correct records. If you have it in the break
group, then it will execute for each record in that
group.

Crosstab Query for Remaining Revenue (Count, If, Date Between )

Hi all, hope you had a great new year.
I am wanting to create a crosstab query for my Projects which shows ProjectID in the row headers and Time Periods split into months quarter or year as the Column Headers using the [DateAgreed] from the Session table.
I have created crosstabs which show revenue from sessions and count of sessions with different time periods but i am trying to make it so that it counts only completed sessions from before the column date, so that i can then multiply by the [SessionCost].
Any ideas guys?

SNMP Query for Byspass Status (AIP5)

I'd like to monitor the state of Bypass mode for the ASA-SSC-AIP-5 and would like to know if I can check this with SNMP and if so, which OID.
I started messing with SNMP and the SSC5 a while back and started a thread about snmpwalk causing it to crash. After that, I never really picked the project back up.
I've been known to miss the obvious every now and then, but I was dissapointed to see that there wasn't an (obvious) way for the device to alert you when it automatically goes into bypass mode. This should be a feature request.

IPS provides SNMP traps for different interface conditions like link going down or up, traffic bypass started, etc. Below is one such example

Snmp query for TenGigE data counters C4510R+E?

Dear community. With the risk of sounding like an idiot I turn to you:
I'm having slight challenges reading the data counters for a ten gigabit Ethernet interfaces on our C4510R+E w/sup8 with this IOS:

running snmpwalk on ifindex reveals all indices properly, i.e:

so, dear community: is this a problem, feature or something that can be configured to work differently? or is it just me :-) googling something like "snmp tengigabitethernet counters" brings up mostly problems with the max data rate but in my case the snmp values do not seem to exist at all.

It may be helpful to see the entire output/snmpwalk for ifTable and ifXTable for this device to see if all the data is missing for these indexes/TE interfaces.
Many older IOS has some issues where the details for a perticular linecards and its associated interfaces were missing from Switch.
Many times it worked after reseat of Linecard or Reboot of the entire device. As these are not the easy and not the first choice for many, lets check the outputs first.
Also from the switch, please share output for device for show snmp mib ifmib ifindex command.

SNMP Query for active tunnels inaccurate

Hi,
I use the following OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.171.1.3.1.1.0 to query my 3005 concentrator for the number of active tunnels. The number of tunnels averages around 4-8 at a time, but about 40% of the time, the returned value is 85. This is skewing my results.
This may coincide with enabling WebVPN, but even the statistics on the web pages of the 3005 never even come close to this value.
Any suggestions?

Source data for Record Group

I am very new to Oracle Forms and have been tasked with pointing some forms we have to a new server and adding a couple of columns to come areas. Everything was going ok until I got to a the point where I have to add a new column to an area on a form. The forms are pointing to the new tables and the searches are working, or at least seem to be working. How can I tell the data source for a data group? I checked properties for the record group (RECORD_STATISTICS) that populates a certain area on a form and it has query selected as the record group type but there is no query showing. I added the column needed to the column specifications list but it does not show up when I run the form. There is a spot for it because the extra hyphen is there.
Here is the code that populates the fields on the form. The field I added is the ahs_site column. As mentioned earlier I added that field to the RECORD_STATISTICS data group as well as to all the procedures I can find but am missing something..

Adding a column to column specification does nothing.
First of all, check the record group query in record group properties:
1) In forms builder object tree find that record group, right-click > property palette.
2) Look for property (just cann't remember exactly its name) where select query is specified.
3) Add the column you need to the query. Column specification will refresh automatically.
There is one more way to specify query for record group. Look for calls of POPULATE_GROUP_WITH_QUERY procedure in the form code.
Forms 6i: menu program > find and replace pl/sql, Forms 10: edit > find and replace pl/sql. In the search field type POPULATE_GROUP_WITH_QUERY. Then see the results where your record group RECORD_STATISTIC is being populated programmatically. If no calls were found - the only data source is in record groups properties.

Query for Tracking the database

i am entering Some process in Client Application. Each process some records get updated in database tables.
How can i fiind it? for example if i am updating engine menu of the application. engine table and some other tables are get updated. i dont have source code of application with me. how can i monitor that what are the tables get affected in the database.
we have to work from database side.
one thing i can do... write the query for table and count(*) after every process so that i can get which table get affected by identifying the row count.
but i want only particular table get affected on particular process.

Well, you can connect as privileges user and issue:
ALTER SYSTEM SET SQL_TRACE=TRUE;This will enable trace of every user session. So it is better if you are the only one using application and database. To find trace files location issue:
SQL> select value from v$parameter where name = 'user_dump_dest';Trace files will have all SQL statements issued by a session. You can either read them raw (trace files are text files) or use Oracle supplied tkprof utility to format them.

Count() function throws error in EQL query for metric

I am trying to use count function in EQL query for Metric Bar to show the number of occurrences of a record.
When the record type doesn't exist i expect the function to return count as 0. Instead the function throws a runtime exception and the whole Metric Bar portlet fails, with error No Results Available. Even though other components in the metric bar have valid results.

Two statements are used here because the original question was pertaining to the null set (where there are employees in the nav state but no employees that fit the special analytics criteria in the navigation state). The question/answer has nothing to do with what is in the COUNT parentheses clause as Counting a null set will always give you NULL, not 0, no matter what you put in there.
What we're really doing, in the second part of the query, is writing a query over a set of data that is not the null set (i.e. the current navigation state). This allows the 0 value to come through in the case where the first analytics statement is evaluated over a null set of records. If there were truly no records in the navigation state, this too would return a null set and not zero.

I have problem with writing MS SQL query of this kind:
how many visits to houses did each client, before renting one of them?
Its easy to count total number of Visits for each client, listing all visits + group by clientID and selecting count(*) for each group.
Lets say this is select_1, and select_2 is listing all Contracts for all clients.
Select_1 is not answer, because count must be performed only on groups, which:
-have at least 1 row "like" row in select_2 (it means that at least one of visited houses was rented, because it can happen that client visited few houses, but rented other, not visited house). my idea for this is comparing select_1 and select_2 with:
"where s1.clientID=s2.clientID and s1.houseID=s2.houseID"
-each group must have all rows(visits) with date of same day or earlier than contract date
maybe: "datediff(day, s1.visit_date, s2.rentDate_from) >= 0"

Query for counting

can i achieve effect of counting of 1 to 50 (say) by a single query?
eg. i wan a query for which output is:-

plz. note that no other table is available for joining purposes.

An effective way of doing the same is using a query like:
select rownum
from (
select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
from dual
group by cube (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
The advantage of it is not needing a table with x rows to get number you want; also, this query as it is produces 2 ^ 10, i.e. 2 to 10th power, that gives us 1024 (number of rows, so our "maximum" value). If you need higher numbers than that, just ad to the select and group by cube more numbers, like follows:
select rownum
from (
select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
from dual
group by cube (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11)
This would give us a maximum value of 2 to 11th power, or 2048.

This is a table with 3 columns, first column is a code, second one is the number of month, third one is a value.
Now I want to select the records for each code. For example all records for code=1.
I want to count how much values=0 for this code=1. After this counting I want to update the value with this count of 0.
For my example:
For code 1 there are 4 fields with value 0. Therefore I want to update all values of code1 to 4.
For the second code=2 there are no value=0. Therefore I want to update the values of code2 to 0.
This should be the result:

Is there any possibility in oracle to count in a select (or in a insert/update statement) all values=0 for one group (in this example named CODE) and do an update in the same statement for this group?
