  • Retail: IS-Retail sytem and POS related Query in SAP Testing

    Hi Experts,
I am expecting clear answer for my query.I am going to sit in SAP Testing project so i just want to know the t-codes which we use to send the O/B IDOCs to POS and the I/B IDOCs from POS to SAP R/3 system. What's the t-code i have to use if i didnt send my IDOCs to POS(where i have to monitor the POS O/B?i want t-code).What's the t-code i have to use if i am not able to get the IDOC or Data from POS to my R/3 system.(where i have to monitor the POS I/B? expecting t-code).I want complete process from R/3 to POS and from POS to R/3.I just want to know what t-code do we use in SAP Testing project as an SAP IS-Retail Functional consultant with SD.Hope for reply from SAP experts and hope for clear and step by step t-codes and procedure from experts. Thanks in Advance.

    Hi
    1) ECC to POS : a) WDBM_HPR tcode is use to trigger idoc for assortment list
    b) WPMA tcode is used for triggering idocs for MC based promotion,Merchandise Hirarchacy & mixmatch discounts.
    2) POS to SAP R/3 : data will pass through XI. POS Tlog files will be used by XI to process data into SAP.
WPUUMS & WPUTAB Idocs will be used to send data to R/3.
we can check in R/3 by using Tcode WPER for the creation of billing documents & Article documents.
    Error handling :
    1) check in weo5 & in XI monitoring for outbound idocs.
    2) check in we05 inbound & in XI for inbound monitoring.
    Regards
    Abhijit

  • Oracle Listner and tnsnames related query

    Hi ,
    DB verison 10.2.0.1.0.
i have 3 databases running on my machine.

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 192.168.180.1)(PORT = 1521))
    (Tnsnames entry)
    # tnsnames.ora Network Configuration File: D:\oracle_2\NETWORK\ADMIN\tnsnames.ora

    My query is as follows.
i have DEV,ORCL,CPDB db names on my local machine.service name is same as db_name.
    for DEV tnsnames entry is
    DEV =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 192.168.180.1)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SERVER = SHARED)
    (SERVICE_NAME = DEV)
when a client want to connect to DEV database ,above entry will be configured in tnsnames.ora and services name DEV can be used at client side.
Now when actully connection get established first protocl TCP is used for communication, then 192.168.180.1 is find out then port 1521 is used.
Now my question is how that establishing connection knows to connect to which database if there are more database on same host ? is that again tnsnames.ora parameter SERVICE_NAME = DEV indicate as db_name to get connect on db server?

Below is the ex how we do it in real time environment. If 2 databases Test,Stage running on same server then we configure different listener to listen each database.
    Stage listener.ora :
    ==================
    Stage =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS= (PROTOCOL= IPC)(KEY= EXTPROCStage))
    (ADDRESS= (PROTOCOL= TCP)(Host= Server06.oracleoutsourcing.com )(Port= 10910))
    Test listener.ora :
    ==================
    Test =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS= (PROTOCOL= IPC)(KEY= EXTPROCTest))
    (ADDRESS= (PROTOCOL= TCP)(Host= Server06.oracleoutsourcing.com )(Port= 10710))
    tnsnames.ora for client :
    ========================
    Stage=
    (DESCRIPTION=
    (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=Server06.oracleoutsourcing.com)(PORT=10910))
    (CONNECT_DATA=
    (SID=Stage)
    Test=
    (DESCRIPTION=
    (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=Server06.oracleoutsourcing.com)(PORT=10710))
    (CONNECT_DATA=
    (SID=Test)

  • The workbook report no authorization, but related query can show part data

    Dear All,
We meet an error, The workbook report no authorization, but related query can show part data.
We have a workbook, it have 1 queries, and when we key in condition to run it, in one field we put on one more condition(Z3XXX = ' WZO'  & ' WZA")(User didn't have authorization for this condition),  and workbook report no authorization.
Then we checked  authorization check log and it show "You do not have sufficient authorization on Z3XXX = ' WCO'.
But when we execute the related query with same condition. the query can open and show WZA's data.
I'd like to know the reason.
    thanks & Best Regards,

  • SDO_RELATE AND SDO_GEOM RELATE MASK PROBLEMS

I am trying to use the SDO_RELATE operator on my spatial table.
    I have been experiencing problems.
I also get the same problems if I use the SDO_GEOM.RELATE geometry function.
    Background
    Table2 contains about 20 000 rows.
    Table1 contains about 1 000 000 rows.
    Both tables contain area geomteries.
I can not get the following 'masks' to return any results.
    -- OVERLAPBDYINTERSECT
    -- COVEREDBY
    -- COVERS
    -- OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT
    The all return -
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
    Elapsed: 00:00:20.00
However the mask INSIDE does work!!! And it returns the correct results.
The query syntax I am using is below. And substituting any of the above mentioned masks for INSIDE results in the ORA-03113 error.
I have validated all the geometies in my table using SDO_GEOM.VALIDATE_LAYER. They are all valid.
    Query Syntax
    SELECT /* ORDERED */ count(g2.parcel_ref)
    FROM table2 g2
    WHERE 1 < (SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ count(*)
    FROM table1 g1
    WHERE SDO_RELATE (g1.geometry,
         g2.geom,
              'MASK=INSIDE querytype=WINDOW') ='TRUE');
    SELECT /* ORDERED ORDERED_PREDICATES */ count(g2.parcel_ref)
    FROM table2 g2
    WHERE 1 < (SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ count(*)
    FROM table1 g1
    WHERE SDO_FILTER (g1.geometry, g2.geom, 'querytype=WINDOW')='TRUE'
    AND SDO_GEOM.RELATE (g1.geometry, 'inside', g2.geom,0.001)='INSIDE');
Does anybody have any ideas why all the masks (except INSIDE) fail?
    Thanks,
    Bob

    Dan,
I have finally got back to looking at my problem queries.
The first discovery I have found is that I can repeat the problem using one feature in one of the geometry tables.
You can see the syntax that I am using below. As I stated before, the INDSIDE query works, but the COVEREDBY fails.
OVERLAPBDYINTERSECT,COVEREDBY,COVERS,OVERLAPBDYDISJOINT also return the same ORA-03113 error.
    SELECT /* ORDERED */ count(g2.parcel_ref)
    FROM table2 g2
    WHERE g2.id = 3658
    AND 1 < (SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ count(*)
    FROM table1 g1
    WHERE SDO_RELATE (g1.geometry, g2.geom, 'MASK=INSIDE querytype=WINDOW') ='TRUE');
    *** THIS ONE WORKS!
    SELECT /* ORDERED */ count(g2.parcel_ref)
    FROM table2 g2
    WHERE g2.id = 3658
    AND 1 < (SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ count(*)
    FROM table1 g1
    WHERE SDO_RELATE (g1.geometry, g2.geom, 'MASK=COVEREDBY querytype=WINDOW') ='TRUE');
*** THIS ONE DOES NOT WORK! The error is below.
    SELECT /* ORDERED */ count(g2.parcel_ref)
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
I have also been running some other queries on my data.
Again, one query works, the other does not.
    SELECT /*+ ORDERED ORDERED_PREDICATES */ count(*)
    FROM table2 g1, table2 g2
    WHERE g1.id = 194
    AND SDO_FILTER (g2.geom, g1.geom, 'querytype=WINDOW')='TRUE'
    AND SDO_GEOM.RELATE (g2.geom, 'overlapbdyintersect', g1.geom,0.0001)='OVERLAPBDYINTERSECT';
    *** THIS ONE WORKS!
    SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ count(*)
    FROM table2 g1, table2 g2
    WHERE g1.id = 194
    AND SDO_RELATE (g2.geom, g1.geom, 'MASK=OVERLAPBDYINTERSECT querytype=WINDOW') ='TRUE';
*** THIS ONE DOES NOT WORK! Again, the error is below.
    SELECT /*+ ORDERED */ count(*)
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
I have checked that the two problem geometries are 'valid'.
    SQL> select sdo_geom.validate_geometry(geom, 0.001) from table2 where id=194;
    SDO_GEOM.VALIDATE_GEOMETRY(GEOM,0.001)
    TRUE
    SQL> select sdo_geom.validate_geometry(geom, 0.001) from table2 where id=3658;
    SDO_GEOM.VALIDATE_GEOMETRY(GEOM,0.001)
    TRUE
Below is a print of the geometry of each of the problem features.
Have you got any ideas as to why the queries are failing?
    Thanks in advance,
    Bob

  • Designing a query and displaying the query output

The goal is to create a report (in HTML form) of all the jobs
(and job-related information) for a given department.
I envision the department name as a hyperlink to a report
    based on the unique DepartmentID.
For example, the “Sales” department might contain
    these jobs:
    VP of Sales
    Associate Salesperson
    Sales Assistant
Each job requires a set of skills and a specific skill level.
“Persuasion skill” could vary as follows:
VP of Sales: ADVANCED persuasion skill
    Associate Salesperson: MODERATE persuasion skill
    Sales Assistant: BASIC persuasion skill
“Communication skill” could vary as follows:
VP of Sales: EXPERT communication skill
    Associate Salesperson: ADVANCED communication skill
    Sales Assistant: NOT REQUIRED
    And so on…
Each job has roughly 20 skills that are related to it.
I’d like to display this information in a table with
the skills listed in rows, the job titles listed in column
headings, and the skill level (e.g., ADVANCED) located in the
appropriate cell where the skill and job title intersect. That way,
the reader can easily compare skill levels across jobs.
The requisite tables are below. (A field name preceded by
“frn_” is the foreign key related to another
    table’s primary key.)
    Table: Departments
    Fields: DepartmentID, DepartmentName
    Table: Jobs
    Fields: JobID, JobTitle, frn_DepartmentID
    Table: Skills
    Fields: SkillID, SkillName
    Table: Skill_Levels
    Fields: Skill_LevelID, Skill_Level_Description
Table: JobSkills (this table “links” a job,
    skill, and skill level)
    Fields: JobSkillID, frn_JobID, frn_SkillID, frn_Skill_LevelID
I'm not sure how to do this, so thank you for any help!
    Luke

You're correct; I want to display the data as you described,
    with one slight change.
Instead of the words "expert" or "basic," the proficiency
ratings should be displayed as numbers, e.g., "1" for "basic, "3"
for moderate, and "5" for expert. (Table: KSAProfRatings contains
fields for both, i.e, Field: PRStatement for "basic", "moderate",
"expert" etc. and Field: PRRating for "1", "2", "3", etc. I want to
    use Field: PRRating)
Table: KSAs contains Field: KSAStatement, which contains the
skills. In addition to skills, Field: KSAStatement also contains
    knowledges and abilities.
So, in addition to the skills that I mentioned above, there
might be a knowledge, such as "Knowledge of company products &
services," and an ability, such as "Ability to communicate
effectively." These knowledges and abilities receive a proficiency
    rating just like the skills.
There is conceptual overlap among knowledges, skills, and
abilities (KSAs), so I had referred only to "skills" for clarity.
The query that I posted reflects the actual table names,
e.g., Table: KSAs instead of Table: Skills, and Table:
KSAProfRatings instead of Table: Skill_Levels (see my first post),
but the principle is the same.

  • Converting Relational query to XML

    set serveroutput on
This is the code of a query to convert a relational query to xml. This code runs fine when I place the where condition at the end. e.g. where h.hospital_id=1. however when i place no such condition it begins returning errors such as

  • How to link a non-linkable query and a plsql query in the datamodel

    Hi,
I am creating a matrix group....
    Where in I get my
    1) Column values from a non-linkable query - Period (Jan, Feb....)
    2) Row values from a plsql query (ref cursor). Group is also from this query
    3) Cross product is on the above two queries.
    4) Cell info comes from a plsql query (refcursor).
I created a group link from the cross product group (3) to the cell info query (4)
I prepared the layout and executed the report... I am getting redundant data....
The reason being the (4) and (1) are not linked properly.
From google, About non-linkable queries column.... I understood that to link two non-linkable queries, we need to create a group link and then add a where clause in the child query referring the parent query column.
But my case is a non-linkable query (which is a parent ) and a plsql query which is the cell.
    Any help...?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Sam,
    >
I was wondering if you could have any link or examples to show how to make a form with report and an insert form in the same page, these two forms are related to the same table. Our customer wants a user can add new row to the table in a form and see all of rows created by this user in a report, this report should provide edit link as well. the problem is: whenever I inserted a new row or edit a row or delete a row, and submitted, and return to this page, all of hidden items lost their values, so report is blank, and some display only items also lost their values. Could anyone give me suggestions?

Could anyone help me in this regard giving me the exact procedure I need to follow.
    Regards

No need to modify, but if it is $temp then change it has ur won request.
    follow the genral procedure
1)In RSA1 Go to Transport tab and collect ur query.
    Drag to right screen
If it is in $Temp change it to your own request. For this You may need Access.
2)Query contains all objects which were used in that query.
if any Info object that are created newly then check for Transport
    3) Then, finally click on transport(Truck) icon
    4) By default, it will collect all new objects including newly created Info Objects also. You can change the collections of your own selection.
You will get a Request Number here. Please save this Number so that you can check this at SE09
    5) In SE09 search for your Request Number.
6)Release The request by subsequent process onwards( Means sub contents like infoprovider first and then Query)

  • Order-related billing and Dlv-related Billing in single Invoice

Say in a single order or order type say OR there can be two materials with different item categories say TAN and ZTAN.
TAN with billing relevance as A( delivery related billing) and ZTAN with billing relevance as B (order related billing )
If that happens the billing will be split
In VOV8 we mention for OR the order related billing as F1 and delivery related billing as F2 in the billing tab
Now in billing TAN will pick F2 as it is delivery related billing
    and
ZTAN will pick F1 as it is order related billing.
    Now my question:
In VOV8, i maintained OR order type for Order-realted Billing as F2 and Delivery-related Billing as F2 as well.
Then will there still be an billing split ?   There will be two F2 invoices TAN will pick one F2 invoice and ZTAN will pick another F2 invoice...?
And i want to know whether this an right way of doing things??   IF not, what is the right way of doing things?
    Thank you very much.

    Hello,
Yes that is the right way.
You can create Single Invoice for Order Related Items & Delivery Related Items.
E.g. You are Selling Air Conditioner & also installing the same at Customer Location. Now you will Invoice the Customer for Air Conditioner & Installation in the same Billing Correct? Now Air Conditioner is Delivery Related Billing & Installation is Order Related Billing.
It is in such scenario Order Releted & Delivery Related Items can be Invoiced in same Billing Document.
While create Invoice enter the Delivery Number & the Sales Order Number, select both the LIne Items & Execute... You will see the system will pick items from both Order & Delivery.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Listing WBS elements and object relations

    Hello Friends,
I want to output all wbs-elements and attached objects in a list, but I'm not sure how to do this. Is there a standard report for this? In trans cj03 you can only se the relation between one wbs-element and its related objects... I want to view them all. I considered to make a report with quickviewer but I am not sure which tables to connect, as the data-fields in transaction cj03 only reffers to structure fields... I would appreciate any input...
    best regards
    Ballo

    Hi Robert,
Check out the conversion routine attached to the WBS element, and you need to add code in your program to convert it before downloading.
If no conversion exit is available, you need to write code to select its mapping from database table.
    cheers
