Soap(sync) to RFC(Sync Scenario ,error in response

Dear all,
For Sender,I created 2 message types
request
record
getdetail                        1..1
Response
Details
Records                       0..1
items                             1-- unbounded
1                                    0-1
2                                     0--1
3                                     0--1
4                                     0--1
The Rfc is imported in to Imported objects which has similar structure as source i.e same occurrences and higher levels.
I took 2 message mappings
1)MT request to RFC Request
2)MT Response tp RFC Response
Operation mapping
req_out(MT req,MT_res)---- RFC(MT)
The problem is while testing in operation mapping ,I am getting error in Response.
in Message mapping as an individual mapping it is working fine(tested in mm test tab).
I did not configure the ID,Is it required to get the response.
if not pls provide me pointers on the same.
We are using PI7.3,are there any changes in generating and publishing the WSDL.
Can I use Integrated configaration for this scenario.
If I use it where to pudlish wsdl as there will be no sender agreement to publish in SR.
Thanks
Pi

Hi,
>>>The problem is while testing in operation mapping ,I am getting error in Response.
COnfiguration objects need to be created & test as full scenario.
B'cos, it need to hit RFC of ECC & provide back the response.
>>>in Message mapping as an individual mapping it is working fine(tested in mm test tab).
so, the mapping part is working fine.
>>>I did not configure the ID,Is it required to get the response.
if not pls provide me pointers on the same.
Yes. configure the ID objects.
>>>We are using PI7.3,are there any changes in generating and publishing the WSDL.
Not sure, but, it should be same. Create all the objects & generate the WSDL.
>>>Can I use Integrated configaration for this scenario.
Yes. it can be used.
>>>If I use it where to pudlish wsdl as there will be no sender agreement to publish in SR.
why NO SA. it should be created in this scenario.

  • Error with Proxy - Soap sync scenario - "invalid http response:HTTP/1.1 5"

    Hello,
I'm working on a PI scenario as displayed below:
    Proxy <-> ECC <-> Soap
I've already imported the WSDL provided by 3th party and mapped one of the actions of the interface.
In the PI configuration I`d created the Scenario, using a Soap Receiver communication channel, passing only the URL and the action (no more options used).
When I`m trying testing using SPROXY or Runtime Workbench, the error bellow is displayed, and no receive message is created:
    "com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: invalid http response: HTTP/1.1 5"
    Someone knows the error cause?
    Thanks,
    Ana Paula Lavieri

    Hello,
    "com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: invalid http response: HTTP/1.1 5"
HTTP 1.1 is not natively supported by standard SOAP or Plain HTTP Adapter, you should use SOAP Axis for that. See SAP Note 1039369 - FAQ XI Axis Adapter, under Receiver Adapter General -> 16. Can I use HTTP 1.1? Otherwise, you would have to ask the third-party to use HTTP 1.0 instead.
    Hope this helps,

  • RFC(WSDL) to SOAP sync scenario

    Dear all,
My requirement is there is an RFC from ABAP that has to be exposed as WSDL and send it to some 3rd part sys take response and send it to RFC(abap).
How can this be achieved in 7.1/7.3,is there any difference .
I did not on work much on Soap scenario's.
    Pls suggest.
    Thanks

Since RFC is exposed as WSDL you can import that WSDL int the ESR to include request and response messages. Also create outbound(RFC) interface with the request and response message types. Similary you need to get WSDL for the receiver system. Import the WSDL IN ESR to create request and response message.  Create inbound interface (receiver) using the receiver wsdl req, resp messages. since RFC Is exposed as WSDL, I think you can create soap sender for RFC and soap receiver for the target system synchronous.  You can refer SDN for SOAP sender and receiver scenarios.
Refer SDN and also refer this [link|http://www.riyaz.net/sap/xipi-a-guide-to-using-sap-xi-soap-adapter/113/]

  • Need help with File to SOAP sync scenario: NO_BACK_SYSTEM_IN_HOPLIST

    Hello,
I am setting up a new scenario where I get an XML file with PI, send that content via sync SOAP receiver call and direct the result of the web service response to SAP (just back to file as intermediate step).
So far I have the transaction working to the SOAP adapter receiver request / response. I see the correct approval response coming in my SOAP channel (RWB AE payload), but this message gets stuck there before routing back to my receiver interface and mappings.
    General setup:
FILE Sender to SYNC OB SI.
OB SI Request is my source message type and Response is my final message output type.
OM Source is this Sync OB SI. Target is a SOAP Sync IB SI. Request Mapping program matches the source file message type and target SOAP layout. Response Mapping matches SOAP response and Target is my final file layout.
Routing for Sync OB SI ID uses this OM for Sync IB SI.
SYNC IB SI has Request and REsponse messages mapping the external SOAP call.
When I test the configuration I get success.
When I send messages through I get error in the adapter about this NO_BACK_SYSTEM_IN_HOPLIST (therefore the response message is not making it back into the IE so that it can be mapped again and forwarded).
Complete error message from RWB Adapter Log "Transmitting the message to endpoint http://[myhostname]:[myport]/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: NO_BACK_SYSTEM_IN_HOPLIST:." and the next line is "Received XI System Error. ErrorCode: NO_BACK_SYSTEM_IN_HOPLIST ErrorText: null ErrorStack: Legacy system to which acknowledgment message is to be sent is missing in hoplist (with wasread=false)"
Any ideas for me? (fyi not using BPM).

  • SOAP FTP SOAP Sync Scenario

    Hi,
I am working on scenario where PI receiver XML message through SOAP Adapter and then transform into tab separated text and send it to FTP location, now requirement is to send back synchronours respose back same XML message with adding one more tag as Status In Process.
I am fine till sending text File to FTP location but how to send Sync XML response back with additional Status tag.
There r few solution use BPM Sync Async bridge, can we do it without using BPM. Even if i am using BPM, even after sending File i need Send Sync step to send back message to close Sync Asyn Bridge in BPM it means i need Sender Agreement with Sender communication channel to send corresponding response message to BPM. is their any alternate way to the same.
    With Regards
    Sunil

now requirement is to send back synchronours respose back same XML message with adding
one more tag as Status In Process.
not sure if you can add a tag to a already defined structure.....
What you can do in this case is
    1) If you are using a wsdl of some other application then ask them to modify the response message to accomodate the Status tag ( if it is not present already).....then you can populate this in a mapping..
Can you tell me when the Status in Progress should be populated?
Is there any response coming  from FTP which you will use as an indicator to say Status in progress?
OR is it when you send the FIle you need to correspondingly popluate Status in Progress tag and send to SOAP sender (irrespective of what happens in the FTP end)?

    Abhishek.

  • Idoc to soap sync without bpm. is it possible? Helping me..

    Hi Experts,
i have a small clarification Idoc to soap sync interface in sap pi 7.0. i created IDoc to Soap sync using BPM but some times the signals are stuck due to load issue in swpr, while reprocess those signals all going successfully to the receiver. So We are trying to eliminate BPM.
I just wanted to know Idoc to Soap sync scenario without BPM is possible or not in SAP PI 7.0?
if it is possible kindly send me the links
    Regards,
    Kiran polani

    Hi Kiran,
Could you please let us know the exact requirement. How do you want to send the response back to IDOC?
ASync - Sync Bridge with IDOC sender is not possible in PI 7.0.
If It is something like IDOC --> SOAP --> IDOC , And If the SOAP request is small then you can use SOAP Lookup in IDOC to IDOC Scenario.
In The mapping You can do a lookup and get the response from SOAP(Webservice) and map that to your Target IDOC.
This is one possible way for you without BPM in PI7.0.
Please let me know if you need more details about this.
    Thanks

  • Help Need on SOAP (Sender) to RFC Scenario(Synchronous Communication)

    Hi All
I have a requirement of <b>SOAP(Sender) to RFC</b> scenario(Syncronous Communication).  The scenaio goes like this........
I have a web service through which I have to create a SAP Notification in SAP system and the Notification ID created and other details have to be returned back to the webservice from the BAPI.  I have identified the relevant BAPI for the scenario.
I have a wsdl file which I have uploaded it.  What are the next steps to be done?
Please let me know what all(e.g., Data types, Message Types, Message Interface)  I have to create in Integration Repository and what all configurations I have to make in Integraion Directory.
FYI, I have a gone through a list of Blogs, but didn't get enough info.
Please help me out in providing your valuable answers.
    Thanks,
    Vijay
P.S. Rewards points are sure .....

    Hi Vijay,
If at all you have uploded wsdl file for the webservice you no need to create data types for the same even for the same as RFC also.
Create message mapping and drag the wsdl file which you have imported as External Definiations and there you will be having request and response parameters..Do the mapping accordingly(according to your requirement).
    Mapping like:
        Wsdl(Request)---->RFC (Input parametrs)
        RFC (out parameters)------>wsdl(Response)
Create message interface with Synchronous for outbound
No need of DT,MT if at all if you import the wsdl file.
       Hope i am clear.
Please let me know if you have any queries..!
      Thanks and Regards,

  • SOAP to RFC sync scenario

    Hello members:
we have a business scenario: SOAP to RFC sync
an external system (ABC) sends documentrequest thru XI SOAP adapter and makes an RFC call to a BAPI and gets back the resposne to the ABC system.we are handling 4 mappings. 1. request msg to a common msg 2. common msg to BAPI request3.bapi response to common msg 4. common msg to response msg(which is same as the req msg)
i have the request msg and common msg as external definitions. I did the following steps and wanted to
    know if i am right.
    1. there are no data type & msg type needed for this
    2.  4 msg interfaces
    i)  document o/b sysnc
    ii) document i/b sync
    iii)common o/b sync
    iiii) common i/b sync
    3) 4 mappings
    i) document to common
    ii) common to bapi req
    iii) bapi resp to common
    iiii) common to req/response
    4) 3 intf mappings
    source intf**********               target intf
    i)document o/b               common o/b uses mapping #1
    ii)request :common i/b         bapi i/b  uses mapping #2
       resposne:bapi i/b           common i/b uses mapping #3
    iii) common i/b             document i/b uses mapping # 4
pls provide your inputs if my approach is rite? do i need to have 4 msg intefaces?has any made mappings where 4 mappings are involved ( without BPM)
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
I think you will have only 2 interfaces.
    1. Sync Outbound interface (SOAP Structure)
Two message types Req and Res
    2. Sync Inbound interface (RFC Structure)
Two message types Req and Res
    Then two message mapping
    1. SOAP Request  to RFC Request
    2. RFC Response to SOAP Response
    and finally one Interface mapping.
    Thanks,
    Prakash

    Hello All
I have a SOAP to RFC sync scenario.
In SXMB_MONI,  i see that both the initial message and the response message are successfully processed.
But, the SOAP sender is not receiving the response message.
How can i trouble shoot this scenario? How can i findout what is going wrong?
Most importantly, How can i find out the web address of the SOAP sender? I do not see it anywhere.
    Thanks

    Hi Chandra,
    Please check this blog.
    /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2008/01/08/troubleshooting--rfc-and-soap-scenarios-updated-on-20042009
You can by pass your message through a TCPIP gateway , this will help you to see the message contnet and the SOAP header information.
TCPIPGW application is availabel in one of the SAP notes for Monitoring SOAP adapter. and 2 SAP SDN PI  blogs are also there on how to use this application...

  • (SOAP sender) --- XI ---- R/3 (RFC receiver) this sync scenario

    Hi Experts,
Webservice(SOAP sender) < - > XI <--> R/3 (RFC receiver) this sync scenario tested with Infopath successfully.
I have given partner number, student object id are the two input fields(request) and i am getting student number as response. This scenario is working when i use MS infopath.
I have generated WSDL file embedded with below URL
    http://xxxx.yyytec.passh.ed:7271/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:Webservice_Sender_BS:GET_NUMBERS_Sender_CC&version=3.0;amp;Sender.Service=Webservice_Sender_BS;amp;Interface=urn%Apache
    Sender business system: Webservice_Sender_BS
    Sender CC: GET_NUMBERS_Sender_CC
    Msg Interface: STU_GET_NUMBERS_Synch_MI
now we want to test from third party website, what are the things to be provided to the website developer to test the scenario.
the way i generated URL, is it correct?
if i provide above URL and generated WSDL in XI , is it enough for web developer to enter the input fields to RFC(r/3) via XI as webservice request and getting back response from RFC(r/3) to webservice via XI.
can you please advice if any body worked on this kind of scenario.
    Thanks
    Dhanush.

For the developer you have to provide WSDL file so that they know the input/output fields and write the code.
    URL is correct.
Other informatino they required is Username and password of you PI system.

  • SOAP sync to RFC - Multiple lines in the RFC 'input'

    Hello everyone!
    I need a little 'insight help'/opinion.
I had a cenario that was working just fine, SOAP Async to iDoc. In the cenario I received 1:n lines and send it to the iDoc. No problem at all.
Now,  the analyst asked us to change this cenario to: SOAP Sync to RFC (I opposed that but.. it's their decision..)
So, I created a RFC with NO IMPORTING AND EXPORTING and 2 TABLES. One table to receive 1:n lines as inputs of the data, and other table to give 1:n line as response of the process of that line.(the RFC is remote, so can be used by PI)
When I test this RFC in R3 using transaction SE37, I am able to enter 1:n line in the input table, and get the 1:n line in the response table. And also, the data is inserted in my table. Perfect.
When I import and use this RFC in PI, everything seems to be fine during mapping procedures and such, but when I execute the SOAP call, I get an mapping error. I was able to see that:
1 - The Response from the RFC using PI is 'blank'. I mean, the mapping from the response of the RFC to my SOAP is 'null', that's why I´m getting the error mapping.
2 - Tha data WAS NOT inserted into the table using PI. This worries me more.
So, my question is, does PI understand the use of 2 tables (one as 'input' and other as 'output') from the RFC? - the RFC has no importing and exporting, only tables, as I've mentioned.
Also, is this what I am trying to achieve here, possible? I mean, can I expect to use a RFC with multiple line as 'input' or PI only accepts 'parameters' as input?
    Thanks for the insight help!
    Ricardo Sancio Lóra
    Brazil

but when I map anything from the response to my output, I get the mapping error, but if I map something constant it
    worked
Did you test the mapping in IR using the Test tab of Interface/ Message mapping? If it is working for Constant and not for runtime (or other) values then it means that the mapping logic is not proper.
But did you see when I say that the item was NOT inserted into the table in R3?
Now the last check-point in XI.....is your RFC channel showing proper payload in RWB --> Component Monitoring --> Adapter Engine --> CC Monitoring?

    Abhishek.

  • Xml validation in File to RFC Sync Scenario with Validation fails message

    Hi All,
We are using PI 7.4 (Dual Stack) the Requirement is File to RFC Sync Scenario(File <---> RFC).and need to do XML validation against XSD Schema. if any Validations fails Response message should send back to sender.RequestResponseBean standard module is using for File to RFC Sync scenario but how to send the response message to sender if any validation fails. adapter level XML validation is not helpful for this requirement. please help out me how to achieve the requirement with graphical mapping.
    Thanks in advance.

to validate schema you cannot solve it with graphical mapping but validating the schema in the AAE or the integration engine.
y recomend you to use the AAE validation at sender side, coz the sender system will be notified in case of schema errors.
The response will be validated at Integration Server level.
you can search in the forum, you will get many document about how to configure it.
take a look to my blog: PI 7.3  - XML Validation
