SOAPMessage dealing in runtim with jdev 1013

Hi All,
i have a problem in dealing with SOAPMessages in jdev 1013.
the problem as follow...
i have an MMSC application that send and recives MMS for mobile applications, we also have web UI for sending and receiving the MMS
the Application uses servlet in receiving the request and sending the response......
the response is a SOAP message
the application is running somthly on any other IDE such as intllegai, but when running the application on jdev 1013 i have error in retreving the mesages...what happend that the oracle deal with soap messages transferd in runtime as oracle.j2ee.ws.soap....but our application deal with the soap as javax.xml.soap.soapmessage object
the calling of he servlet is done using SOAPConnection as
SOAPConnection conn = SOAPConnectionFactory.newInstance(). createConnection();
SOAPMessage sMsg = conn.call(soapMessage, servlet_url);
i trace the response , it is correct in the servet, but when converting the response to SOAPMessage it failes....
so when i call writeTo method in SOAPMessage class, i have exception
ByteArrayOutputStream output = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
sMsg.writeTo(output);
the exception that i have is
06/10/29 12:33:24 javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Unable to get header stream in saveChanges

anyboy can help resolving this problem....... how can i force the jdev not to use its owen soap class in runtime

Hello,
The easiest way to use SOAP over HTTP is to build a service usign the JAX-RPC API, for example you can expose easily a Java class as Web Service (SOAP) and this is based by default on HTTP.
See Oracle Web Services section in the Documentation page.
For example for attachments: Working with message attachments
Can you check if this is possible to integrate to your application?

    I've a class I compiled used in JDev 10.1.2.1.
Now I try to compile it with JDev 10.1.3 but I get an error :
Error: Internal compilation error, terminated with a fatal exception
    What does it means ?
How can I solve it ?
I tried to use both 5.0 and 1.4.2 compilers but the result is the same.

  • Missing Descriptior with Toplink 1013 and Jdev 1013

    Hi guys,
I keep getting the following error when I try to run my project:
    Exception [TOPLINK-6007] (Oracle TopLink - 10g release 3 (10.1.3.0.0) (Build 050912)): oracle.toplink.exceptions.QueryException
    Exception Description: Missing descriptor for
The project is a Web Application with a Model and View/Controller projects. The Model has a Toplink project in it and I created the mappings, classes, and the sessions.xml for it.
What am I doing wrong? This seems to work in Jdev 1012.

    * Does the sample client work ok when you use sessions.xml?
    * What is the sequence of steps you are taking to create view project and in which project you are getting the errors? A detailed sequence of steps will be helpful in reproducing this issue.
    * If you are running into this issue in your view project using ADF and your use case simply involves reading objects, perhaps you can try writing a plain sample client in java yourself to simulate the use case and see whether this client works.

    Best Regard,
    Vitor

Applications that you build with JDeveloper 11g are normally aimed at WebLogic 10.3 servers.
They require Java EE 1.5 and JDK 6.

  • Getting started with JDev and 11i

Good morning everyone. I currently have access to an 11.5.10.2 Apps instance running on ATG RUP6. I am looking to start some BPEL development and have a couple questions regarding the development and server tools necessary for this.
    1. I don't have the Metalink note(s) handy, but what I've read says that for 11i development with JDeveloper, you need certain versions of JDev available from Metalink as a patch. If I recall, they are all various patched versions of JDev 9i. Is it not possible to use the latest 10g version? From what I have seen, there are many many improvements from 9i to 10g, and I would really like to use the best tool available!
    2. Several blog entries and Oracle white papers discuss creating BPEL processes that will work with EBS. For example, this one here: http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/fusion_middleware/fusion/soa/bpel_ebuz/bpel_ebusiness.htm
In the few that I have gone over, they all say to download and install JDev, 11i (11.5.10+), and the SOA suite. I do not understand the part about having to install the SOA suite -- why is that necessary? Does 11.5.10 not have the necessary components to start doing BPEL development? This is not such a big deal for someone with a personal computer doing practice development, but at a company, we are talking about having to install and maintain a rather significant component. Is there anyone here who is actively developing BPEL processes for a production environment that can share some details regarding this?
Thanks for all of your input!
    ryan

I found the note to my first question: 416708.1. It says that specific versions of JDev are required depending on your ATG tech stack version. For 11i, they are all 9i versions. Specifically, it says "When you create extensions to eBusiness OA Framework pages, you must use the version of JDeveloper shipped by the eBusiness product team.". To amend my question, would this mean that I could use JDev 10g for BPEL development in 11i and stick to the particular JDev 9i only when modifying OAF web pages in 11i? Again, I would like to use the latest dev tools where possible.
    Thanks again.

  • Problems with JDev 11g using JBOSS and ANT

    Hi,
I'm trying to migrate to JDev 11g with JBoss ( version 7.X ) as the AppServer
With JDev 10g all works fine with JBoss, even the Remote Debug, all OK
here is the problems I have :
    1) ANT
JDev doesn't save my ANT settings
every time I launch ANT : Run Ant Target - I must set the Advance settings
JDev 10g I only need to do that once, the settings are saved but not in the 11g, why ?
    2) persistence
I get this error when deploying to JBoss
    16:34:50,967 INFO [org.jboss.as.server] (HttpManagementService-threads - 1) JBA
S015870: Deploy of deployment "prod_v0.0.1_iDigital.menu.ear" was rolled back wi

    nit.\"prod_v0.0.1_iDigital.menu.ear#InfraModel\"jboss.naming.context.java.jdbc.s
    tdDS]"]}
it seems that is something related to dependencies not well configured during build stage of the EAR, but with 10g works fine
BTW, I can't run my project with WebLogic either, gives this error :

I can't say many about the ant stuff, but have you tried to put the parameters in a property file and use this to get the parameters to ant?
The reason you can't run the application on WLS is that you have not installed the adf runtime on your wls. The error 'application.xml: [Extension-Name: adf.oracle.domain, exact-match: false].' points to this.

  • Packaging AIR runtime with app?

Would it be possible to have an option to package the AIR runtime with the APKs
created through Flash Builder?  Say, a ride-along package that would detect if the
given or higher runtime of AIR is installed, and if not, install it before launching the
    app.
For the foreseeable future (the next year, at least), most new users of any given app
created this way will not already have the AIR runtime on their phone.  This would
spare them having to initiate another download when they thought they were about
to enjoy the product.  (No matter how you disclaim it, many customers are going to
think you can start an app right away after downloading it from the Market, because
this is how practically all non-AIR apps work.)  Waiting for an install is okay if the app
automatically launches afterward: this will not take nearly as long, and (importantly!)
requires no further customer action to actually launch the app.

I'm sure it would possible, but consider that as soon as someone downloads
an AIR Android app, they've already got the runtime, and with notifications
for updates already a common thing, they'll be notified from the Market
whenever there's an app update (runtime or your app).
I think it would be nice as an option, but just today I got an email from
the Android Market explaining important changes to the store, and
specifically they say no .apk larger than 50 mb. So I'd rather not have the
runtime packaged with the app, as that adds to the overall filesize. We
already have to deal with that on iOS devices, since Apple won't let us
download compiled code. So you get an automatic 3-4 mg overhead with all iOS
apps. Luckily there's no real limit on iOS app sizes.
I do agree though it'd be nice to have the install process worked out so the
app prompts for the runtime if needed (as it works now) but have the runtime
know to launch the app again once it's installed.

  • JSP 2.0 with JDev 10g (9.0.5.0.0) preview

    Hi everybody,
Is it possible to compile JSP 2.0 files with JDev 10g. If so, how ?
I added a new library named JSP20 Runtime which points to the JSP jars from OC4J 10G (10.0.3). I added this library to my project in replacement of the default JSP Runtime library. It seems that something else must also be done to compile my JSP.
    Got any idea ?
After this, to run my JSP, I must also figure how I can bypass the default embedded OC4J and use the preview version of OC4J 10.0.3. Will it be mandatory to deploy my project to the standalone OC4J ?
    Thank you

tagdir is not a taglib attribute. Replace the tagdir attribute with the uri that points to the file something like this:
    <%@ taglib prefix="tags" uri="uri-where-file-is"/>

I purchased an ipad from a dealer on ebay with a 9 month warranty still on it.  I set it up and decided to return it and buy the new Ipad instead. How can I be sure I didn't activate the warranty, or deactivate if it has been activated?

Sorry, I can't tell what it is you're trying to ask. What does the warranty have to do with your intention to return the iPad (to whomever) and get another one?
There's no way to deactivate a warranty.
The warranty transfers with the machine, has nothing to do with the owner.
Look around in the Support pages, you can figure out a way to type in your serial number and see what your current warranty status is.

  • Developing with JDev 10.1.3.0.1 for BPEL 10.1.2.0.2

    Hi,
Does anyone knows if it is possible or adviseble to develop with JDev 10.1.3.0.1 to deploy the processes in OC4J BPEL 10.1.2.0.2?
If it is, is there any issues involved?
    Tks

in general you could develop bpel 10.1.2.02 compliant processes, but it would create a bunch of possible hazards you could run into - deployment structure, new services, workflow and so on .. add'ly you cannot deploy from jdev 10.1.3.1 to bpel 10.1.2.0.2 server -- all in all not really recommendable, and not really supported too :D

    The test is easer.
I make a new Empty Project like J2EE13. After create a new JSP (Web tier -> JSP).
I chose j2ee version 1.3. So I put some jsp code inside, like
    <body>
    <%
    out.write("Teste J2EE 1.3");
    %></body>
After I create a new Deployment Profiles WAR File.
Make a build, a .war file and .ear and everythink worked.
So I make a J2EE Deplyment Descriptor Wizard with version 1.3
    And make rebuil project.
JDev don't finish the rebuild. The thread dump with CRTL+BREAK :

Probably you have never experienced this, but I have lost the ability to iMessage.
When I try to turn on iMessage, it tells me that "an error occurred while trying to turn on iMessage."
It's not a huge deal, but people with iPhones can't text me back unless they try to re-send after finding out that their message wasn't delivered.
    Help!
I think I have gone through every support option available, short of
Scheduling an appointment at the Genius Bar. But I have been to the store three times in the last three weeks.
To solve a different problem, the folks at the store replaced my iPhone 4S.
I came home and loaded my backup onto the new phone. Everything EXCEPT iMessage seems to be working great.
I would really appreciate any feedback...

We don't automatically migrate the adf-faces-api.jar since in a 10.1.3.x ADF Faces application this JAR is not part of your project's WEB-INF/lib directory.
The issue must be specific to migrating this Apache Trinidad example.
