SoftMotion: Using an axis in different coordinate spaces

Hi,
I am trying to set up a SoftMotion system with up to 5 axes and using these axes in different configurations usings coordinate systems.
Problem is:
I have axes X1, X2 which are running in parallel, as well as axes Y, Z and W.
First setup is running only X1 and X2, all other drives need to be disabled. Move start and stop must be synched -> Use "Coordinate Space A"
Second setup is running X1,X2 and Y, all other drives need to be disabled. Move start and stop must be synched -> Use "Coordinate Space B"
etc.
Unfortunately an axis that has been configured for "Coordinate Space A" can not be configured to be used in "Coordinate Space B".
Configuring all available axes to be used in a single coordinate space will result in an error when trying to perform a move and one or more axes are drive disabled.
Any suggestions?

Hi Swen,
Depending on the moves you are making, you could put all of the axes in the same coordinate space and only perform moves on certain axes. This would work well with straight line moves, but not as well with arc moves. For example, I could put X1, X2, Y, W, and Z all in the same coordinate space. When I want to move X1 and X2, I command a straight line move on the coordinate that only moves axes X1 and X2 and keeps the other axes stationary. The stationary axes would still be enabled, but they wouldn't be moving.
I might be able to come up with some more suggestions if you give me more information about your requirements.

Spaces is cool, very cool and useful. I'm glad they took the hint from KDE desktop in Linux and made it work unlike the clumsy goober that M'soft tried to do. But here's the thing- in Linux you can move an application to a different desktop space. I guess that's coming in a later update- nobody thought you'd wanna move something to another space!

Unfortunately, I've run into several non-Apple programs, including Adobe Photoshop CS3 that do not show up in the Spaces grid view. If you can't see the windows in the grid you can't move the application.

Find a child's location in parent's coordinate space

I've created a map of Montana counties. Each county is a seperate MC withing the larger parent clip (allcnt_mc).
When a county is clicked on, I'd like to center that county on the stage and zoom to its extent.
The challenging part has been telling the parent (allcnt_mc) where to tween to. Since each individual county is a child of the parent, they have their own coordinate space referencing that of the parent.
Is there a way I can query the location (x,y) of a child in the parent's coordinate space? With this number, I could calculate the distanct between the parent's current reg. point and that of the child, indicating the distance that the parent would have to move to be centered on the stage. I was trying to use localToGlobal but could not figure out how to use it.

Satellite C660-1PH - HDD shows different free space

Ive noticed the last days that the 'windows partition C:' of my disk shows different free space without downloading/installing anything
E.g. I had 104GB free, then on next day it was showing 100GB free and then suddenly it became 104GB again. It happened with different values another day, it just keep changing out of the blue.
What could be causing this? Could the hard disk be faulty?

Please dont forget that temporal stored files can change value of the free space on the HDD.
Use the CCLeaner (freeware) software which would delete and remove the temporal stored files.

USING TEMPLATE IN A DIFFERENT DATA SOURCE BUT WITH THE SAME GL QUBE

Hi, I want to chance connection in a SV Workbook to another data source. As we are having several test instances I need to be able to use the same Query workbook on different instances.
I've not been able to reproduce the steps to get the SV to ask for the new instance/source.
Below is what I did before but can't get to work again. Please advice
1. Open Excel and Open the SV Template you want to use that containing a different Shared URL (You can check this with (T) Smat View > Sheet Info. Login as User/PW: Casey.Brown/<weekly PW>
2. Make sure SV Options Shared Connection URL is set to point to the new instance SV > Options > Advanced > Shared Connections URL, for example 'https://fapXXXX-bi.oracleads.com/workspace/SmartViewProviders' (B) OK
3. Open Smart View Panel Navigator > Open > Smart View Panel
4. Select a 'Recently Used' connection in the Panel that points to the new instance. If you don't have it create one by connecting to your new instance and then Disconnect All.
5. In the Login to Fusion Applications window login as User/PW: Casey.Brown/<weekly PW>
(B) Sign In
NOTE: You have to click on button Sign In. You cannot press enter on keyboard as this makes the login window to pop up again. This is a known issue.
6. In the Connect to Data Source pop up window login as User/PW: Casey.Brown/<weekly PW>
(B) Connect
A pop up window 'Smart View' will pop up: 'The worksheet contains data from prior operation. What do you want to do with the contents of the sheet?
-> Clear sheet contents and POV
-> Reuse sheet contents only (Free operation will take place, existiong POV will be lost.)
-> Reuse sheet contents and POV (New ad hoc connection/Smart Slice must be consistent wit existing contents.)
7. Select 'Reuse sheet contents and POV
Depending on seeded data member changes you may receive 'Input Grid contains unknown Memebers' pop up window.
(B) OK
If you get above you need to correct unvalid members.
For example removing Budget-Budget and replace it with Budget- for the Scenario dimension. Then you will be able to use the sheet with the new data source.
Please advice on what step is needed to get the system to provide the pop up window 'Smart View': 'The worksheet contains data from prior operation. What do you want to do with the contents of the sheet?

You can only sync with one iTunes library. However, you can manage music and videos among different computer/iTunes libraries. See:

If you want to change syncing computers see:
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device: Apple Support Communities
If all the media is in the iTunes library of the second computer then you can omit the transferring media steps.

It's enough to reimport Only Parent DC. No need to change in Child DC
This depends on scenario according to my experience.
Changes to the model definition can be three ways
1)Addition: Adding new fields or structures to your model.
In this case "It's enough to reimport Only Parent DC. No need to change in Child DC", if you are not using the new fields or structures in child DC.
2)Modification: Modifying existing fields or structures (e.g. data types) in your model.
In this case "It's enough to reimport Only Parent DC. No need to change in Child DC", because fields or structures in child DC are reference to the Parent DC.
3)Deletion:Deleting fields or structures in your model.
In this case, "It's enough to reimport Only Parent DC. No need to change in Child DC", if you are not using the deleted fields or structures in child DC.
But this holds if you make your DC as a public part but not the model and the parent DC's Interface Controller must have the context that you are going to use in child DC. You will find more help [here |/docs/DOC-8661#section5]

Signing a document using a plugin in different versions of Reader

I am signing a pdf document with my own .cer file using a plugin. Everything works great in Reader 8, I've got a green check, it specifies that this is a valid signature and I can view the certificate. In Reader 9, however, I receive a huge question mark, but it still specifies that the signature is valid and I can view the certificate. In Reader X, the signature is "UNKOWN".
How do I get rid of the question mark? Even if I delete the vector data for the drawing the question mark in the plugin, a big yellow question mark is still being displayed in Reader 9 and X.

Again, I know NOTHING about your plugin, your code, the certificate in question, etc.
The ONLY WAY to get you an answer is for you to provide our support staff with the PDF in question, at least as a starting point. Please open a support contract.

Using the Axis Framework in the SOAP Adapter

Hello experts,
I am currenty checking how I can easily manipulate sender and receiver details and how I could get attachments into XI.
I saw in the sap help that it is possible to use the AXIS framework from the SOAP adapter:

As usual, the documentation is of the same quality SAP usually provides.
So my first question would be: This is a moduke to be used from the SOAP adapter right? I am asking because they also wirte about the AXIS adapter and its metadata.
In oder to get it working, I created in the NWDStudio a library project, added my libraries (to the root directory) and deployed it via SDM. Deployment is succesful but its not working.
SAPHelp says I should check for a MessageServlet - I ask myself how that could appear suddenly just by packaging some axis libraries...?
I am using for that the ESA box (NW04s SP6) - I was not able to see whether there are some dependencies to the SP - are they?

Axis is outdated and has some issues ..use Apache Soap instead its much better and easy to use.

If you mean iTunes Store accounts, there's really nothing for you to do. Just add the tracks to the iTunes library and play them. Music purchased prior to late-2009 will been to be authorized, though. Pull down Store > Authorize... and type the credentials of the Apple ID used to buy the tracks.
If you mean something else, please describe in more detail.
