Solaris Kodo 4.0.0 can't find license.bea
Hi,
Running kodo enhancer as ant task on Solaris gives:
LicenseException: No product license key was found
My classpath includes all the Kodo jars and the directory where the license.bea and kodo.properties files are located
An identical setup on Windows with the same license.bea works fine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Greg.
An update on the problem:
The problem is with the JRE required by the new license code. It won't work for Java 1.4, requires Java 1.5
When the new license code fails it goes looking for an old license key in the kodo.properties file - if it doesn't find a valid key, it throws a license exception.
I've asked tech-support to arrange for an evaluation license key - otherwise all our code will have to be upgraded to JRE5... or we could just go with JPOX...
Greg.

Hi,
when I invoke wsimport with Ant to create the client artifacts with the custom-client-binding file I always get an error like "javax.xml.stream.FactoryConfigurationError, can not find provider class com.bea.xml.stream.MXParserFactory".
I can not find the BEA provider in the JWSDP 2.0.

Can't find license number on product?
I can't find my license number on my boxed elements 13 product I purchased on Amazon. There's numbers but none that fit in the license number boxes....I've checked the box, the sleeve, and there was no insert.
You may have a code that you convert to a serial number. Check the link for directions.

Where can I find license information about Apple Distributed music?
I created a movie and published it on a site similar to YouTube; unfortunately I used music distributed by Apple via iMovie and Soundtrack Pro and I need to show that I am able to use said music. I am unable to find this information in the programs except for in the actual file information, which states it a Copyrighted by Apple Inc. But I probably still need to find the statement or document that says I can use their music for these non-profit purposes.
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks!Go to http://www.apple.com/legal/sla/ and download the iLife09.pdf
Look at paragraph 2.C.
Paragraph 2 says Permitted License Uses and Restrictions
Paragraph C. discusses the royalty free use of the music included.
(The pdf is locked so I couldn't extract the actual text.)
Basically it says you can't distribute the pieces separately - but you can use content that includes them. Please read it yourself!
I got called away for a phone call before I had a change to submit my reply and ended up duplicating AppleMan1958's comment.

Can not find com.bea.myee.portal.YahooLoginFilter pakage!
Hi there,
I have a problem, and can not figure out why? I created a portal app using workshop,
and imported login portlet and other related java files to login portlet in this
application. In DirectorBacking.java and LoginBacking.java import package com.bea.myee.portal.YahooLoginFilter
is throwing error and is not found. Can someone tell me which jar file has this
package. I looked at the build file, and it has 21 jar files, and I do not know
exactly which jar file has this package. In sampleportalApp, it is working fine
and sampleportalApp build file has also 21 jar files, why is not working in mine.
Kind of stuck at this point, and trying to figure out solution. If someone has
any tip or lead, please let me know. Looking forward.....

Where can I find licensed apple repair store in Belgrade, Serbia?
In so called "Macola" they robbed me for diagnostic, and couldn't find what's wrong! Also tried to rob me for another 80 euros for "additional level" of diagnostic

Well, it seems to work OK with the exception of the no performance pack.
However if its not supported when will the Linux version be available as I
don't want to buy sparc boxes just to develop with the beta., even though
our target production platforms are intel and sparc.

We do not support Solaris on Intel for any version, including version
6.0.
The platform support page for WebLogic Server is located at:
http://www.weblogic.com/platforms/index.html
This page has the latest and greatest information on the platforms that
WebLogic is certified and supported on.

Solaris v10 sparc jumpstart server on x86 solaris - can't find miniroot.
I am trying to setup a jumpstart install server on an x86 solaris v10 machine to do a sparc network install. I downloaded both the CD and DVD sparc v10 ISO's. When I mount the CD, the Solaris_10/Tools/Boot directory (miniroot system) is symlinked back to ../../../s1 which does exist. I can't find it on the CD, I've used prtvtoc and this slice does not seem to exist.
On the DVD iso, the directoy exists, but many files cannot be read, almost like the filesystem is corrupt.
I've download these ISO and burned them many times, so I know it's not an issue with hardware or the CD/DVD media.
Where can I download a working sparc solaris v10 miniroot system? There is no such entry under solaris. This entry only exist on windows.
On solaris you need to change entries in the kjs script (prior to SP3)
or iasenv.ksh (after SP3)

Can not find solaris 64 9.0.1.5 patch for repository installation
Hi,
I found in oracle10gAS installation guide that I need to apply patch 9.0.1.5 or later in order to use an existing oracle 9 database for my repository. The problem is that I can not find oracle db 9.0.1.5 patch for solaris 64bit. The latest patch for solaris 64 is 9.0.1.4. Does anyone know if I can use the 9.0.1.4 patch or where I can find 9.0.1.5?
9.0.1.5 only exists for solaris 32 versions.
ThanksHi giorgio santandrea,
I am also facing the same error, could please tell me how you resolved that error?
Thanks & regards,
