[SOLVED] Compiling EMACS without games module ?

Hey,
Is it possible to compile EMACS without its built-in games module ? I think EMACS is for doing work, not for game.

I think that the games are just elisp file (in /usr/share/emacs/23.3/lisp/play ); they are not part of the emacs binary. You can delete the files if you do not need them. But this directory is only 804K, so why just not leave them there and not care. What you can do is compiling emacs by disabling images support (or only keep some images support) and other things; just type ./configure --help.

The Microsoft Office Startup folder or the Microsoft Excel Startup folder contains either or both of the following Adobe Acrobat PDFMaker add-in template files:
Pdfmaker.dot
Pdfmaker.xla
Norton AntiVirus software is installed.
No full installed
Please try the following methods:
Method 1: Download the latest version of the add-in for Adobe Acrobat 5.0
Method 2: Move the files
Method 3: Visit the Symantec Web site for Norton Antivirus information and product updates

I don't see an issue, but if you mean why didn't you get most of your memory back you need to see what else is using storage. Go to Settings/General/Usage. Wait a bit for it to calculate storage allocation, then when it finishes you can see how much storage each app uses.

I duplicated a picture and now iPhoto (11) is cloning that picture replacing all the other photos and only when I click directly on them I can see the real picture! How can I solve the problem without losing any saved picture? Shall I re-install? Thanx

I duplicated a picture selecting CMD and D but, suddenly, iPhoto (latest version '11) started cloning that picture and replacing all the other photos with it.
Only when I click directly on one photo I can open it and see the real picture it is.
But the preview is always the duplicated one...
I tryed to duplicate another picture just to see if it turned out ok but the only changement was the duplicated picture!
I started repeating the second duplicated one instead of the previous one but my issue remained the same.
So, how can you help me to solve this problem without losing any saved picture?
Shall I re-install iPhoto completely?

As Larry says, restoring the back up is the fastest and best solution. Otherwise:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

The error message in excel 2003 : "compile error in hidden module AutoExecNew" could be caused by Adobe Acroate add ins, thats waht microsoft told me.I use windows xp service pack3.I have got reader newest version and photoshop 6.0. With this and also with an older reader version I got the error message when opening excel. what can I do?

If you have Adobe Reader, you (probably) don't have Adobe Acrobat, a
commercial ($$) product. 5.0 is a very old release.
But you can check if the files are there anyway from long ago. See

Hi,
Through QM module you can block the invoice for payment but you can't stop the posting.
Do the settings in SPRO > Quality Management > QM in logistics > QM in procurement > Define delivery block, here block invoice option is there.
But in standard SAP, you can't control the Invoice posting through QM.

I'm trying to load the acerhdf module that should control the fan-speed for my Acer 1810TZ. I'm following the README.txt and the ArchWiki but after have compiled and installed the module I'm not able to load it.

Try using this package instead of building it yourself: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=23686
When installing the package let it overwrite any existing files as these will all be files that you have created by building it yourself.

IIRC essbase is a financial reporting add-in (Hyperion, or something similar?).
This message is telling you that the add-in is not compatible with your current software. You should check with the vendor who provided the essbase add-in. Tell them what version of windows and Excel (and maybe Hyperion) you are using, and get a compatible
version from them...
If you do not need or run essbase/hyperion/etc then you should just remove/disable the add-in. If it doesn't show in your add-in menu, then you may have to do a repair installation or re-install Excel

I realise this is a common and old problem, but I'm having trouble setting up BI publisher desktop on my laptop with:
64 bit
Windows 7
Office 2007
I started with this

EAX on players or operating system without games in Win 7

Can I turn on EAX in music or videoplayers or at the usual time with no games but on Win 7?
In Win XP it was possible with the aid of a tool but in Win 7 no. Without EAX sounds like with worst quality as a bad sound card and would like to include the full sound quality with EAX anytime and without games, or in music or videoplayers. Is there a utility for this ?
