I'm already using only systemd . Where should I replace the hooks with block?

Thanks, that solved it. Last time I ignored a deprecated warning, it came back to haunt me.

  • Deprecated warnings while using XMLBeans

    Greetings,
Using XMLBeans Builder in WorkShop 9.2 raises hundreds of deprecated warnings. It seems that the XMLBeans Builder generated code doesn't compile against ... XMLBeans itself ? It that possible ? Any workaround ?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas,
    To highlight your issue:
"""...how could I compile, without any warnings, including deprecation
warnings, XMLBeans Builder generated code. After all, as it's name
clearly suggests, an XMLBeans Builder generates code to be compiled
against XMLBeans. It seems very strange that a product which generates
XMLBeans compliant code cannot compile this code without deprecation
    warnings."""
I spent some time working with XMLBeans and unfortunately, what you want
(code without deprecation warnings) is actually something to make a
request of from the Apache XmlBeans folks. The code the XMLBeans Builder
generates is not any different from that which the Apache XmlBeans
project would generate when a schema is compiled via the 'scomp' tool.
Here's how you can see the cause of this outside of the Xmlbeans builder
    tool or the Workshop IDE
    1) go to http://xmlbeans.apache.org and download a binary distribution
    2) unzip the binary distribution to a dir on your filesystem
    3) copy your xsds to <unzip-dir>\xmlbeans-2.2.20\bin
    4) cd to <unzip-dir>\xmlbeans-2.2.20\bin
    5) run the following:
    scomp -src srcOutputDir *.xsd
This will generate the src files from the xsd (similar to how the
XMLBeans Builder tool would) on your filesystem.
From there, browse to a .java file and view in your favorite text editor.
You'll see that the java code produced from the XMLBeans tool itself
    produces code with @deprecated javadoc
    e.g,
    /** @deprecated {@link XMLInputStream} */
    public static org.apache.xmlbeans.xml.stream.XMLInputStream
Now to see this in the Workshop IDE, create a new J2EE Utility Project.
Make sure the XmlBeans->XmlBeans library facet is enabled.
Drag the contents of srcOutputDir (from above) to the src directory of
the J2EE Utility Project in the IDE window.
Upon successful rebuild of the srcs in the IDE, you'll be able to see
similar warnings from pure Apache XmlBeans related code.
If you really CANNOT have these deprecation warnings, your best bet may
be to email the Apache XmlBeans mailing list. At the very least they can
probably best explain why the deprecation is still left in the code.
    The website for xmlbeans is:
    http://xmlbeans.apache.org
and some helpful mailing lists can be found and queried from
    http://xmlbeans.apache.org/community/index.html
    Hope this helps,

    rfrost,
Many thanks for having taken the time to reply but ... you didn't get me. My point was not to disable compiler's deprecation warnings. I believe that it's very important to be aware that APIs you're using in your code is deprecated. This is certainly the reason which motivated the compiler's creators to provide an option able to signal deprecated calls in the code. Disabling this warnings doesn't provide any benefits, it is just hiding problems and the goal of a compiler is not to hide problems, but to hi
ghlight them. No, my point was simply to ask how could I compile, without any warnings, including deprecation warnings, XMLBeans Builder generated code. After all, as it's name clearly suggests, an XMLBeans Builder generates code to be compiled against XMLBeans. It seems very strange that a product which generates XMLBeans compliant code cannot compile this code without deprecation warnings. That's a big issue because a deprecation warning says to you: "Hey, you're using something you're not supposed to u
se any more". So, many thanks to you for having let me know how to disable compilation warnings, but this was not at all the point. The real point was how to use the XMLBeans Builder in order to generate XMLBeans code free of deprecation warnings. I understand you don't have the answer but, in this case, please don't feel obligated to reply.
    Kind regards,

    Maybe thats a problem?
Does anyone know, how to avoid these messages / warnings? They don't hurt but i would like to avoid them.

You cna usually silence the messages by adding 'quiet' on the kernel command line:
    kernel /vmlinuz-linux root=/dev/disk/by-uuid/bf1d191b-0f0d-4961-bd67-4d023a2e5873 quiet ro
When pasting code, please use [ code ] tags https://bbs.archlinux.org/help.php#bbcode
    like this
It makes the code more readable and more convenient to scroll through.

  • [SOLVED]When pacman is updating linux-headers and linux, catalyst-hook

    Hello-
I wanted this to be out there on the web so that people could find it.  I'm not sure if this could be considered a 'bug' for catalyst hook or for.. something, or if it is expected behavior.
I ran pacman -Suy on my system today, and ran into errors about catalyst hook failing.
Closer inspection indicated that it was trying to build based on headers of the version of linux that had just been removed, but the new linux headers hadn't been installed yet (after the hooks ran, then the linux-headers were installed)
If you see this error during an upgrade, to resolve the issue simply run mkinitcpio -p linux after the install completes.
    Below you can see log/errors/progression

    Karol-
That thread doesn't seem to be closed, and the thread it points to doesn't appear to really have a solution either, unless i'm missing something.

I have this service running, but was concerned by the error message that i wouldn't have gui (and would have to drag out my laptop to do troubleshooting) upon reboot.  Next time I will let it be and make sure the service works correctly
That said, I _did_ fix the distrust (or in this case non-rememberance) by running mkinitcpio -p linux.  Initial post has this detail in it.

On the Host tab when I search I do find "solmanhost" however here it is lower case while the warning message is in upper case and indeed our systems are defined in upper case by our operating system administrator. Is that important? Should there even be anything in LBDB for the EM? I don't have access to another 7.1 system to see if there actually should be an EM defined in the LMDB. Well, thank you all.
    David

I'm not exaclty sure what I did. I think what did it was removing the EM from the list and re-connecting it.

  • Data back up taken in 2.1 is lost while updating to 2.3

It is compulsory to lose backup while upgrading from 2.1 to 2.3. Its really big big disappointing feature of the update. No care is taken by even google to restore sbf type back up by putting support software in market.
I want to restore some of important sms back up. I need help from Sony Ericsson. I am sure that so many people have lost their back up while updating to 2.3.
It is compulsory to put such a notice display while updating to 2.3 that you will loose the back up and will not be able to restore back of 2.1 in 2.3. I want to file a case against the company for the valuable data loss and for not to inform such an important data lose.

    What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLCLS_AFTER_IMPORT" had to be terminated because it
    has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
The following syntax error occurred in program
    "CL_CLS_ATTR_VALUE_ASSIGNMENT==CP " in include
    "CL_CLS_ATTR_VALUE_ASSIGNMENT==CM00D " in
    line 1:
"Method "GET_DETAILS_OF_ASSIGNMENT" does not exist. The following simil"
    "arly-named methods do exist: "GET_DESCRIPTION_OF_ASSIGNMENT", "GET_PAC"

Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLCLS_AFTER_IMPORT" had to be terminated because it
    has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "CL_CLS_ATTR_VALUE_ASSIGNMENT==CP
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP Editor.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
    administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
    Error analysis
The following syntax error was found in the program
    CL_CLS_ATTR_VALUE_ASSIGNMENT==CP :
"Method "GET_DETAILS_OF_ASSIGNMENT" does not exist. The following simil"
    "arly-named methods do exist: "GET_DESCRIPTION_OF_ASSIGNMENT", "GET_PAC"
    "KAGES_OF_ASSIGNMENTS" and "GET_CLIENT_ASSIGNMENTS"."
    How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
    1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
    (Unconverted)".
    2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
    (Unconverted)".
    3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
    In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
    Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
    4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.

    how to solve this one

    Hi, vanaja,
"inserted value too large for column" - this is the reason for the exception. That is, you are trying to persist a value that exceeds the table column capacity.
What you can do is reduce the length of the data element you want to update, or, 2) first increase the relevant column maximum length, then try to update the table again.
If you choose 2), and if you are using the system database, then you can use Java Dictionary and follow [THIS|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/fe/53fb40f17af66fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm] procedure to increase the maximum length of a column.
    Hope that helps!
    Regards,
    Yordan

Make sure your connection pool is valid and able to import or execute reports.
If everything good as above said, in Physical layer database properties-> general tab choose the database version and try it once.
    If not
    Check the doc id 1271486.1
    Or
To resolve the issue create a softlink (ln -s) in the <OracleBI>/server/Bin folder to link to the 32-bit Oracle Client Driver file.
The example below shows how to perform a softlink from the 64 bit directory:
    cd /u10/app/orcladmin/oracle/OracleBI/server/Bin
    ln -s $ORACLE_HOME/lib32/libclntsh.so.10.1 libclntsh.so.10.1
