[Solved] Matlab R14 installation fails

Question

Same problem as here, but I still get an error even with "-javadir".
Using the Linux 64 Bit version from Mathworks.com.
# sudo ./install -v -javadir /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk/jre/

Command to run:

Error: Could not find or load main class com.mathworks.professionalinstaller.Launcher

I took a look in the source of "./install"
its right after 'echo "Preparing installation files ..."' when it fails

I made it work by downloading and installing from the ISO
