[Solved]"No Text!" in konqueror menu

Yesterday when I opened up konqueror, I couldn't help but notice all the buttons, the location bar, and some of the menu drop-downs were missing. But in fairness, it gave me a new one that's empty and just says No Text!
It's normal in fresh accounts, so it's a settings issue. I'll have to go through and find where the settings for these are and remove them so KDE can automagically fix it. Has anyone seen this before? or at least know where those are stored?

Nevermind, I found where the menu is stored after I stopped making the assumption that it had to be somewhere in the ~/.kde/share/config directory. I .old'ed the file and konqueror was back to normal.
For future reference, the file is ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/konqueror.rc.

There's an option in the preferences dialog of smplayer that allows to change the font of the application: Preferences->Interface->Default font.
Be sure you're using a recent version.

How to align text below the menu with text in the menu?

I'm trying to design a law firm site with a menu with text below it that is centered with the text in the menu. So, under "ABOUT" in the menu, there is "Meet our Attorneys". I can't get the 2 text boxes to center. When it looks centered, it moves when its FTP uploaded. Here's the site:

How do you individually strikeout text in a menu ring?

I have a menu ring with a list of options for the user. Once the option has been ran, I want the text in the menu ring to reflect this by being "strikedout"... I don't want it disabled, just incase the user wants to rerun the option but I want the menu ring to mark which options have been chosen. Is it possible to individually strikeout text in a menu ring - just like you can individually disable items using the appropriate property node?

Elements in the menu ring are array elements. Each element in array must have the same font (This is a limitation of the definition of an array). So, you can only set all elements to be strikedout, not individual ones. (with the property node)

i get the number of option by
                            do JavaScript "var v = document.getElementsByName('customer')[0].length;"
then i loop putting the v variable at the end of the selectIndex
                            do JavaScript "var x=document.getElementsByName('customer')[0].selectedIndex=" & v & ""
in addition with the option
                            do JavaScript "var y=document.getElementsByName('customer')[0].options;"
and concatenate all
          do JavaScript "var full=y[x].text;"
voila !!!

I have a hard time reading some of the smaller fonts in context menus but this is not really a context menu. If I open Word and then right click anywhere you see a menu. Is there any way to make the fonts IN THIS MENU larger?

The font size of the context menu is controlled by Windows, not by Word.

Center Text in Spry Menu

Hi there,
I am building a basic website using DW CS4.
I have put together a page that works without messing up the code too much:

In the Spry menu I would like to center the text vertically and
have not been able to find a tutuorial that included this tip.
Can any of you folks get me going in the right direction?

Alright I believe that you put my suggestions somewhere incorrect. These menubars can be confusing.
The easiest way to center vertically is to simply make the box that is in a size that makes the text in the middle.
By this I mean that if this is your box (the ---- is the text)
[        ]      <-----------------| Then the easiest way to make the box fit around the ----- is to get rid of the bottom [      ]
(just a figurative way of looking at the box, there is no actual division like [ ] its all just one box)
You can do that by setting a height for the boxes. The height for the boxes is controlled by a particular div element. By default the height is left blank, which usually works because then it auto formats but in your case it does not appear to be working.
We get rid of the bottom [      ] by setting the entire box's height to 35 px (which leaves enough room for the text to still show).
Here is the code you want to modify. It is the second sub section down from the top. Pay attention to the CSS notes put there by the Adobe spry designer.

width and height to see if that is the problem. The spry vertical menu might be trying to expand itself to fit in
that div or another div somewhere on the page.

I hope this all helped. If not, then I'm sorry- it's kind of hard to tell you exactly what to do, its much easier just
to go through and change some stuff and troubleshoot it in dreamweaver. When messing around with the code, you should
probably make an effort to edit the actual code and not use the built in interface, because its easier to lose
track with the interface than when you actually go in and edit a part.

Symbols show instead of text in itunes (menu items only)???

Hi can anyone help me please? My itunes is suddenly showing square like symbols instead of text, does anyone know how to fix this please?

Whats happened is somehow the itunes program language settings was changed from english to another language thats not installed on your PC, therefore nothing but squares show (Usually some asian language like chinese). I will try to direct you on how to change it back to english even tho you can not read it.
1) Open itunes and at the top where you would normally see File,Edit,View ect ect. Goto the second listing from the lefthand side (This is edit) then on that menu pick the last thing at the bottom (This is preferences)
2) Select the first tab from the lefthand side (General tab) and at the bottom where you see a dropdown menu is the Language section.
3) Open the dropdown menu and select the 5th listing down (This is english)
4) At the bottom righthand corner where you would normally see "OK" and "Cancel", pick the first button from the lefthand side (This is OK)
5) Now for the language to take you need to close itunes, then reopen it

Adding text to a menu

I added some text to a moving menu and the text is always there, it doesn't fade in like the buttons and title do, is there any way to make this do that as well?

I am trying to do the same thing... from the lack of response I am assuming it is not possible.
Did you find any work around?

[SOLVED] PekWM themes - the root menu

Is it possible to remove/change the 'title bar' of the root menu in pekwm? It is currently the same as all of my windows and I'd like it as something else/removed.
Solution: Menus and Windows have different themes, I had them set to the same in the theme file.

Change font of a portion of text in ring menu

Hi,
I would like to change the font of a portion of a text in a ring menu but it seems that it's more complicated than expected.
I tried to adapt this (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/6BD344ACA4DEE20A8625692700737E16) to my purpose.

the reason for this is that you can't do it. essentially, you can use that method only when you can change the font of a portion of the text in the edit mode. In case of your control, you have no provision to do that. Probably you should use picture controls...
