Some more Micro Zen Question

Hey everyone!
I am extremely excited in getting a Zen Micro!! Apart from all the other micro daps, I think I'll be most satisfied with the Zen Micro
However, just before I buy one for myself, I have a few questions.
.) If your not satisfied w/ the colour, could you send it to Creative to exchange for another colour ?!
2.) When using wakeup timer, could you set specifically to what it will play at a volume ?! Also, I would like to sleep and wakeup to my music in bed... is the best solution for this to buy Creative speakers? If I do, does that mean I have to leave the speakers turned on 24/7, or does it shut down automatically when theres no signal?
3.) When player is locked, could you still control the volume on the touchpad ?!
4.) Could you turn off the blue glow ? Also, does it pulse to the music... sorta like the Karma dock ?!
5.) Is the voice recorder good enough and easily setup-able for class lectures ?!
6.) When you create playlists on the player, is it true you can only add one song at a time... or you could actually import whole artists/genres/albums ?! When you have a playlist, is it possible to delete seletecti've songs or add more songs ?! Could you play a playlist on shuffle mode ?!
7.) The cheapest I can find a ZM is $300 USD shipped Micro, which is on eBay BIN. I'm also from Canada and it's tough to find a good price. Used Minis and Carbons, which I don't mind because I'm tight on $$, are ~$90 USD. Do you still think the Micros are worth that difference in price ?!
Sorry for all my dumb questions. Hopefully someone who knows anything could speak up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

3) when player is locked, touch pad is not doing anything; no volume change.
4) turn off backlight is possible. Beat to the music, don't think so.
5) dunno if it will pick up all the classroom chatter. But setup is easy. Just press start through the menu, it takes about 5-0 sec before recording actually starts.
6) you can add albums, genres, artists or songs to the "Selected Music" = "Now playing" playlist (they'll be added at the end). At any time, you can save this "Selected Music" as a playlist. Within Selected Music, you can choose to remove a song, but you cannot reorder them. To change a saved playlist, the only way I know is to play that playlist (so it's put in the "Selected Music") then remove / add songs, and save back as playlist under the same name. Mind you that typing names for playlists (or FM radio stations) is quite a pain (linear scrolling through the alphabet, changing Charset for upcase/lowercase/other symbols). At any time you can choose a play mode (shuffle and/or repeat, etc) for the "Now playing" music, which means that you can shuffle a saved playlist.

The Micro Zen's with reinforced headphone Pl

I heard the Creative has released some new Micro Zen's with reinforced headphone plugs. I just what to know how to find out if the one your buying has this? Recently my Zen's headphone plug kinda stopped working and so I'd like to exchange it for the one that has the rienforced thing in it since it has been less than 30 days so I can return it.

There's no real easy way to tell. Some people have said that if you take off the white top then you can see that there are two (or was it one?) screw that holds the top plate on.

HT201272 I have recently picked up an Apple TV. When I go to the movies tab, there are less movies available there than there are in my i-Tunes account. I've done some looking around at questions from others, but haven't found an answer that works for me.

I have recently picked up an Apple TV. When I go to the movies tab, there less movies available there than what is available in my i-Tunes library. I have 38 movies showing in my library but only 23 are showing in the Movies tab on the Apple TV. After researching this a little, there are only 23 movies showing under Purchased in the Quicklinks of my i-Tunes account. The majority of my collection are digital copy downloads that came from DVD purchases. Some of the missing movies were added in the past couple of months, the rest are a year-or-so old. I have done some looking around at questions from others, but I have not found an answer that will fix my situation. How do I update my library to get ALL of my movies to reflect that they were "Purchased"(as it says they were in their Properties)?

Thank you for that post, and the advice. I just happen to be one of those who it does work for. I've been around long enough to know that CC isn't going to work for everyone(the large publishing/radio/web company I work for isn't upgrading to CC because of the costs involved). But it does for me as I potentially venture out into the full-time freelancing world and away from the more structured big office environment. I can't make decisions based on what is best for anyone else, or what will hurt or help Adobe. Just what affects me, and that's all.

I will be buying a zen micro soon, i hope.
i just wanted to clear a few things up...
.Am i right in thinking that pretty much any MP3 can be transferred straight to the zen micro.
i.e. the zen micro is not exclusi'vely for ripping tracks off a CD or for transferring music from a website like napster.
2. Is there a hold or lock function>
3.does it except characters other than english?
4.does windows media player allow for quick and easy drag and drop for mp3s into the zen micro (providing you have WMP0 W-XP and firmware v.2)

i mean yes i can change the name but thats quite laborious
What's more the artist, album, genre name etc. is also all in japanese
so i'd need to use WMP advanced tag editor to change evry single piece of data for each song

Why does the micro zen break for any little thi

I hate that the micro zen break if u drop it on a soft suface. I dropped my micro zen on my futon and the zen didn't want to work anymore. Can anyone tell why this machine is so bad? And if you know how to fix it, please tell me.

Hold on a second people. Every manufacturer builds their products with some amount of durability in mind. Being able to take a short drop IS a part of that. Surly its not meant to be dropped, but manufacturers know we dont li've in a perfect world, so they take a little of that into account when building their products. Some of you guys act as if its EXPECTED to stop functioning after a small drop, and on a cusion at that.
By the way, i see your problem as a freak accident or something.

My Micro Zen It isn't detec

My Micro Zen it isn't detected when I connect it to my computer. The USB ports?work properly and the software its installed. Every time I connect?it the creative mediaSource recognise it'sbut then I get a window telling me "player not connected". Any ideas of what is the problem?

I lost my install cd, and started from zip, i tried every download here which didnt help at all, when i tried to download creative media source, it would always stop at the end saying could not detect a device, this went on for weeks. Then with all kinds of mucking around i ended up in my control panel, and found device manager, i went through this and found the word creative with a ? next to it, i then click it and basicly it ended up searching for drivers, it did so successfully. When i plugged in my zen micro photo i was then prompted to sync it wd WMP, which i did. Then i tried the creative mediasource download again, and it was detected and downloaded followed by the drivers. THANK GOD!!
!!! After crying tears of joy after weeks of crap and almost zero help here, i had done it. Also, if i plug in my zen micro, i must sync it with WMP, otherwise my creative media source will not detect it. I hope this helps some people out there. CheersJim

I dropped my micro zen, and the face plate became a little lose; it creaks a little if i apply pressure to it.
Do you think it'll come off completely? or break all together?

You can never tell how much damage, if any was done. It depends on many factors like: How high it fell, how soft the carpet is, what part of the player it fell on (back, front, side, etc...), where the read/write heads of the dri've were, if the player was on, and more... There isn't much service to do besides a complete hard dri've replacement, and I think Creative can do this but I haven't taken a look at what the warranty covers and where repair centres are and what they can do....

1. Why there can be only one public class per source file?
2. Why the name of the public class must match the name of the source file/compilation unit?
3. Why private/protected access modifiers not applicable to classes? Is there any means by which we can apply these modifiers to a class.
4. The result of 5.0%0 is NaN : What does "NaN" means/signifies?
5. The non-access modifier "static" not applicable to classes? Or Y cant we have static classes?
6. Please follow the below hierarchy:

If I add the below statement and then compile it gives the compilation error

Why the compiler throws an error when the above 'obj' [parent] reference is used to access the Child specific methods, even though the Child object has them? but if I access the parent class methods it executes perfectly.

For your last question, Java compiler only knows that obj has only one method, .parentmethod(). If you need to call .childmethod(), obj must be cast to Child type and then access to .childmethod()

Micro Zen's not working (firmware probl

After having my micro Zen with me to Greece, I've got a fatal firmware problem. I got this message that my Zen was having a firmware problem and therefore wouldn't start. It went directly into recovery mode. I tried cleaning up, but even that wouldn't work. After restarting about 20 times, I made the decision to reload the firmware in recovery mode. My current firmware version is ZenMicroPDE_PCFW_LB___0. All seemed to function, but after having the message "rebooting...", the process just stopped. After about hour I got tired of waiting and stopped the process. Now, when I'm starting my Zen, I'm only getting the welcome screen. I've tried the recovery thing, but the machine won't go into recovery mode. Any hope for my Zen?

well took my Zen Micro with me on holiday as well and when i came back I didnt bother using it for about 2 weeks. So 2 weeks later I want two transfer some songs on but first I realise I have a low battery and i charge via the usb cable and it comes to the recovery mode so reboot it but it comes up the recovery mode again and i try to reboot it again but it does the same thing so I reload the firmware and the reboot it but it still doesn't work. I left for a while once once it had charged a bit so then later on i switch it on and it comes up Firmware Problem and then into recovery mode, i reboot it but it still comes up Firmware Problem and then recovery mode. So I'd like to find out if there is a way to fix the problem.

Through customize u can achieve ur requirement..
Create two Quickpoll with different campaign name and start ongoing..
Next create iview for each quickpoll by using KM QuickPoll iView Template enter the corresponding campaign name for the quickpoll iview.
Next create one JspDynPage component in NWDS
In that JSP file

</iframe>
<iframe src="Give the preview path of Quickpoll iView2 " align="left" >
</iframe>
Now u create one iview for that JspDynPage component
in that two Quickpoll question will display in one iView..
