Some TV .MP4 episode files are not syncing to iPod

Having problems with some TV mp4 files not copying onto my Classic 160 GB iPod. For example, 21 out of 22 shows were successfully synced from iTunes to the iPod, with 1 show failing to copy. The information I configured (e.g., artist, season, etc) are all consistent and the file size/resolution are similar. When I sync, iTunes doesn't seem to see the show that hasn't copied.
Any ideas or suggestions? Can I force a comparison of files on the iPod vs the files iTunes thinks are on the iPod?

Some contacts on my iPhone are not syncing to iCloud

Most of my contacts sync from my iPhone 4 to iCloud but there are some that do not. I check iCloud.com and cannot find them but yet on my phone the contacts appear on the iCloud section of my "Contacts".
Have searched the forum and cannot find anything that might help me.
Some contacts I find that do not sync have custom labels - but other contacts do have custom labels and sync without any issues.
Stuck as some of the people that don't sync are people I contact often!

YAY! So I figured out a simple way to do this. I'll try to keep the steps simple.
1. I went to icloud.com and into my calendar.
2. I created a new calendar for each of my calendars. (for instance, I have family, friends, business, etc.)
3. I then went to the iMac ICal and exported each of my calendars (those which i just created a new calendar for on icloud) under "on my mac".
4. I then imported them into those new folders on the Mac into the "Icloud" calendars I created moments ago. Be sure when you import you SELECT that calendar.
5. Once that is all done you can delete the calendars "on your mac" so there aren't duplicates.
6. NOW all your events should sync. Apparently Icloud doesn't sync calendars "on the mac" only in the "icloud", which is obviously different from what mobile me did.

MP4 Movie Files are not added to Itunes Library

I have a Macbook Pro I just recently got a week ago, and I have been using Itunes in Mac OS X, but when I tried to add some of my MP4 movies into Itunes on Mac OS, the files do not appear in the library and there is not copy bar for copying the files into the Itunes folder. I have had this problem ever since I started using Ituens on Mac OS and I tried reinstalling Itunes and the same problem comes up. I know the problem is not with the MP4 files because I added the files into Itunes on Windows XP on my other computer and they are added just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I think I figured out why the MP4 files were not being added into the Itunes Library, it is because Mac OS X apparently cannot copy files onto a Windows Formatted external harddrive, even though I thought I could.

my new 6th generation synced fine the first time I added my cd's to itunes. Thereafter, I added additional cd's which are on itunes but the message I receive is syncing is complete but they do not appear on my ipod. Only the original cd's are still on the ipod Any suggestions are appreciated.

Just adding albums to iTunes does not mean they will be added automatically to your iPod. You can set it up that way, but it sounds like you do not.
Under the music tab for the ipod, you can select what music, albums, artists and playlists can be sync'd to your ipod.

MPEG-4 Video Files Will Not Sync To iPod

I have a selection of files in MPEG-4 format that are played by iTunes but are apparently not compatible with my iPod (newest version). As far as I can see, they are identical in spec to the other MPEG-4 files that DO work. This all makes no sense to me.
Converting these files using iTunes converting process will take a month by the look of things. Does anyone have any suggestions that will get these files to work on my iPod?

Calendar, Notes and Adressbook are not syncing with iPod classic

My iPod isn´t syncing my calendar, my notes and my adressbook.
When the iPod is connected and I check it in the Finder, then iCal, Adressbook and Notes are on the iPod and seem to have been properly synced, but after disconnecting, none of them are shown on the iPod.
What I tried so far is: updating the iPod-software, emptying the iPod and reloading it.
I tried the five steps to rebuild an iPod, but nothing helped.
I checked iCal for wrong Birthday-Dates and removed the one I found. But nothing changed.
I checked the User/Library and System/Library and removed the p.lists of iCal and Adressbook.
I build a new User and a small Adressbook and a little iCal, which was properly synced to my iPod at that point. I went back to the user, me, and did the same. Calendar and Adressbook were working fine. But after reloading my music in addition to the data already on the iPod, no Adressbook or iCal was displayed anymore.
I brought the iPod to a service-center, and they couldn´t find anything. But after reloading my music and Adressbook and iCal, none of the latter ones were displayed again.
I can´t say, when iCal started not working properly, but it might have lasted two months now. Adressbook was running well at that time.
Can anyone help me?

Calendars shouls sync if you have an iCloud account and have checked the box for calendars in the System Preference/iCloud area.
I do not think there is anyway to use Reminders with Calendar. They do not sync between the MBP and an IOS device. I would think this would be important but they failed to do it.

Some songs purchased through Facebook are not syncing onto iTunes, how can I fix this problem?

Good morning to all of you in this community. The reason for this discussion being started up is because I am having trouble uploading some mp3 files that I purchased through Facebook. most of the songs uploaded successfully with no problem, bit there are a few that I can't find although I downloaded them. I am a new user to Apple products, so this is quite an annoyance to have to be dealing with. If anyone has any helpful suggestions I would appreciate it greatly, thank you.

Interesting, this is the first time I hear one can purchase songs via Facebook. Note that unless youpurchased the songs from iTunes, you will not be able to add them to the Music app on your iPHone.

Some of the MPP file are not opening in MS Project 2013

I have upgraded Project Server 2010 to Project Server 2013. I am facing issue with Task List which is not opening in MS Project 2013. While some of the Projects are working fine with MS Project 2013 with all checkin and checkout functionality.
While i try to open the MPP/Task List. It's giving me error like "Unable to check in project. Ask Administrator to do the Force checkin". After Force checkin also problem remains same.
Could you please help me on this.

Since changing our computer I have been unable to download ebooks to my Reader Library I get a message Some file types associated with EPUB files are not associated with Reader Library; Waterstones suggest that I may have accidentally created a new Adobe

When I try to download them from the Waterstones website I get a message saying:
‘Some file types associated with EPUB files are not associated with Reader Library. Do you want to associate them now? When I reply yes I get another message; ‘Configuration error unable to update EPUB files check network firewall and try again’.
The ‘books’ are saved in the Download directory and I can’t transfer them from there to my E-Reader. I have not had any problems before, it was very simple; I saved the download and it automatically went into the Reader Library.
I contacted HP and they said it is a software error and suggested I contact Waterstones. I contacted Waterstones Customer Support and got the following response:
As the error message is specifically mentioning the firewall it does sound like something in the firewall settings is stopping the download from taking place correctly. However, the files should not be being saved to the Download folder. It would be worth trying again by going to your Digital Order History on your Waterstones.com account and pressing the download button, and then making sure to press "Open" not "Save". When you press Open rather than Save it should give the option to open the file with Adobe Digital Editions. If the firewall message still comes up then I'm afraid something is blocking it on your end.
If the above "Open" download method works but you then still get an error message it could possibly be that you have accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up on the new computer, rather than signing in with your old Adobe ID. It would be worth trying the aforementioned download technique again first, but if problems did still persist it would be worth calling Adobe themselves on 0207 365 0735, as they should be able to sort out any account issue.
In response to the first para of Waterstones email I already do what they suggest I do press ‘Open’ not ‘Save’ but I don’t get the open with Adobe Digital Editions (we have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer. Waterstones say we may have ‘accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up the new computer’ does that mean that we shouldn’t have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer as it would have already been there? How do I sign in with my old Adobe ID?

Hi all after attampting to get some supoport from adobe by phone.... nice people infurating policys as far as support for digital editions or DRM is conserned... However I got no where with support.
I ended up instaling Digital editions on my desktop PC and going through the motions of registering and borrowing a book then returning it. Then I trying on my iPad, Bluefire worked, Over drive did not so I completely removed Overdrive and reinstalled and re registered. all working now.
Maybe some one at adobe did something. Maybe the install of the adobe DE client on a PC corrected what ever was out of wack with my account. Mayby the server that my account lives on did a scan disk and corrected a bad clustrer.
What ever happend My account is actiove and working again. hope this helps others.

In iTunes, go to File>Add File to Library or File>Add Folder to Library.

Some PDF files are not displayed in Bridge

Hello,
here is the problem: I use Adobe Bridge CS2 to browse my large collection of PDF files, and unfortunately some files are not displayed in the Filmstrip View mode; instead a generic icon is shown (bridge1.png). Most PDF files, however, are displayed correctly (bridge2.png). Is this the problem of Bridge or of certain PDF files, and how should I fix them to make them being displayed by Bridge?

In fact, all files have similar type of content (research papers). However, I found out that all files which are not displayed are "protected" by the publisher such that they only can be viewed and printed, but not modified or disassembled. Apparently, this causes the problem with Bridge not displaying them. It's a pity that Bridge cannot handle them...

In addition to Mike's suggestions, you only have 4GB of RAM and Mavericks does use more RAM than other versions. You may also want to look at the apps that startup on login and the possiblity of upgrading RAM.

Itunes could not run because some of its required files are missing. please

After trying to run iTunes, I get the error message: "iTunes could not run because some of its required files are missing. please reinstall iTunes." It hasn't always done this, and I've had iTunes for years. Any ideas why it has just started now, and what I can do about it? Thanks
