Something to check email addresses ?

Hi,
I was given a long list of email addresses from a client,
some of which are badly formatted, don't include an @, or a dot,
etc.
Is there a quick routine or program out there that can look
through a long list of email addresses, and ID the bad ones, so I
don't have to go through them with a fine-toothed comb ?

OK, since these are already in a db, I ran a simple query,
using ID and EML as the variables, but I'm not sure how to use the
isvalid portion and form.emailaddr for a queried search.. any hints

This has been reported numerous times in the past. It seesms that from time-to-time the response system responsible for sending the key goes away.
Take a look at the More Like This box on the right hand side of this page. Some users have had success getting the key sent in various ways.

Icloud will not back up because it says email address not verified. I am not getting a link in my email to follow to verify account, checked email address listed is correct, so how do I verify email address when I dont get the email link?

If you have given correct info about you ios 6.1.3 - all you need to do is delete account. You will be able to sign in with new one afterwards. Make sure you don't delete any info when you see those prompts.

Built in error checker - email addresses on forms

When a form asks for an e-mail address to be input, this new version of IE 10 is making life hell. What winds up happening is that if you use an e-mail from a small company or a school, IE does not recognize it as being valid and tells you to
correct it even though it is correct. Is there any way around this built in e-mail address checker? Thanks.

What kind of Windows are you using now? Windows 7 or Windows 8?
Sometimes, an add-on called "spelling correction" in IE will cause some issues about spelling checker, please click "Manage add-ons "in Tools, if it exists, disable this add-on for a test.
If you're using Windows 8, then, click Charms Bar Settings,
Change PC settings, General, find spelling, then turn off spell checker feature for a test, check whether there's something wrong with the checker.

Try to create one. If it's taken you will get a message saying so. Of course only try this with an address you really want since if you can create it you won't be able to delete it if it's the main account address.
In theory you can check email addresses by using 'Finger' but it's not in the least reliable and doesn't seem to work with iCloud at all (and many ISPs simply refuse it). 'Ping' will return a positive whether the address exists or not (it checks the domain only).

Checkconstraint for Email Addresses

Hello,
iam kind of new in oracle and i wanted to know, how to create a check-constraint for email addresses? I just want to check, if there is an @ and a . within the given varchar. I thought about something like
CHECK email in ('@' AND '.')
But that doesn't work. Something like with queries where like %@% with check-constraint I am looking for.

I would like to know if there is a way I can get a widget or something to create a "sign up for our mailing list" or something to capture email address in order to enter site.

Change iTunes account Email Address on iPhone

I have read a lot of posts in here about this but none seem to fix my problem.
I have changed my email address in iTunes account. I have synced iTunes with my iPhone.
But when I try and buy something my old email address appears on the iPhone iTunes store and it won't let me buy anything.
How can I change the email address the iPhone uses for purchasing things?

I accually called them and was on the phone for like two hours trying to fix it. Do you have an apple id? if so you can use that to buy a free song and then synce the phone and then after that try to buy something and your apple id name should come up. I was using my aol email address and then for some reason it stoped working and I couldnt bye anything. I did that and now I can buy stuff again..hope this helps

It doesn't sound like you "changed" your Apple ID, sounds like you created a new one. Bad idea. All content bought with an Apple ID is forever tied to that ID. The ID that bought the content is the only ID that can update the content. Apple does not merge IDs not does Apple transfer content from one ID to another.

How to check .me email address availability

I am thinking of moving my wife and me from our personal Google Apps domain account and want find out the availability of an email address on .me for my wife and me. I want them to be similar, such as [email protected] or [email protected], but I don't want to setup one first and find out the other is already taken for the same configuration. E.g., giving me first.last@ and her firstlast@. Is there any way to check compatibility before setting up the actual .me account? I suspect if I choose a name and iCloud accepts it, then she chooses the same format and it doesn't accept it, the process can't be undone. We have a very unique last name so I'm hoping it won't be a problem, but wanted to ask anyway.

In Mail go to the Mail Preferences and then Accounts
and create a new gmail account. When you are ready,
you can delete the Comcast account.
Thanks for the reply. However, when I go to mail>Pref>Acc, I only have a .mail account listed. Nonetheless, I on occasion have things addressed to me on this computer at comcast. I figure I must have listed it in the process of registering my product, or something like that. I tried to go to Apple.com to review my registration page, but I couldn't manage that. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks again for your input.
