The funny thing now is that I play music on my Iphone and I cannot see it or stop it. I have done a syncronzing yesterday and then nothing happened and later there they were all the cds. but now they are not seen on the screen and I just dont understan how the system works. I have read the instructions and tried to folow them but it has not helpt at all.

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...

Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
Then... Try putting these numbers in Network>TCP/IP>DNS Servers, for the Interface you connect with...
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Then Apply. For 10.5/10.6 Network, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon.
DNS Servers are a bit like Phone books where you look up a name and it gives you the phone number, in our case, you put in apple.com and it comes back with 17.149.160.49 behind the scenes.
These Servers have been patched to guard against DNS poisoning, and are faster/more reliable than most ISP's DNS Servers.
For 10.5/10.6 Network, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon.

Thanks!When the prompt pops up next time you start iPhoto select Learn more. Then click on iPhoto preferences and select the Accounts tab. Delete your MM account and the quit iPhoto. Next time you open iPhoto the problem should be eliminated.

My images are not related to the converted catalog, only preview works, tags and other information is given, but the (network) path to the original images is missing and is substituted by a local path with c:\. How can I solve the problem automatically ?

I found an old iPod classic of mine that is synced to a computer that is long gone. I want to get the music and photos from this old iPod onto my new computer. Every time I hook the iPod up to my new computer it wants to delete what is on the iPod and replace with the contents of the iTunes that is currently on the new computer. I don't want to do that. I want to keep what is on the old iPod and transfer it to iTunes. Any help? Thanks!

I am trying to sync my ipod info from my laptop to my desktop. When I did the transfer only 6 songs came through. How can I sync all my accounts. One email address is so old I no longer have access to it. Help???
It appears that something happened to yur computer/iTunes files. It happens sometimes. To recovery:
- Import the old music into the current iTunes library
- Make sure all the apps are also in the library
- If in the USA and therplaces where iCloud has benn released you can redownload most iTunes puchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- You can always redownload apps at no additional cost as long as you are singned into the same iTunes account the originally purchased them.
- After all the suff in in the iTunes library, make a backup of the iPod by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes.
- Restore the iPod from backup and restore as necessary. -
When I updated firefox to 4.0 the only things that really changed were a couple of buttons and the position of the tabs, the blue navigation bar and the drop down menus for file etc didn't change at all.
My computer also freezes when visiting certain websites with firefox, not Every time I visit but frequently. The websites are usually commonly visited websites (Gmail, stuff.co.nz) and don't do it when I am using internet explorer or another computer. This started when I downloaded the upgrade.
I use a net-book with Windows XP.To get the new style UI you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.
If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them. -
I changed my Apple ID on my MacBook. My new Iphone5 seems to have my old Apple ID on it. Therefore I can't download apps. How do I 1) remove the old Apple ID on my Iphone and 2) install the new ID on the phone.
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1311 Just remember apps that were downloaded with the old Apple ID will be locked to that ID. It will ask for the old ID password when trying to update.

This weekend I changed over from my HP-G60 which ran on Vista with Firefox 3.6.1 and my connection to Peirce College in Philadelphia was recognized and supported. They do not, as yet, support the 4.0 version. I downloaded your 4.0 this morning onto my new HP-Dv6, but I cannot use your browser to get to my classes online because they don't support the 4.0 version. It will only work if I use Internet Explorer 7 or 8. I need your version 3.6.1 to be made available to me, so I can continue on with my studies. When you uninstall FF 4, do not select the option "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data. -
I channged my Appleid at appleid.com and now the phone stills shows my old id and will not let apps that require id/password prompts work.
Just scroll to the bottom of the screen in the store, log out and then login with the new ID.
As long as you changed it from the manage account option at https://appleid.apple.com/ (ie. replaced the primary email address with a new one), then all your old purchases should be fine. -

How can I get the Task information..? Remedy for error "-200089"

I am using PCI-6229 for the application, and VB6 for application development.
We have a policy to create the tasks and associated channels using Measurement and Automation Explorer.
I want to know can I retrieve the information of the tasks those are created ..
When my VB program starts, I use DAQmxLoadTask function to start executing the task, but for this I need to know the TASKNAME. On site if the service engineer accidentally renames the task name, the program stops execution. To avoid this problem, i would like to know how can I get the information about the tasks, such as the tasks those are created, their names, type of channels used (i/ps, o/ps, Analog channels), etc.
This would help my application to execute without hard coding the task names as well as I can close the tasks if they are running before exiting the application.
Also, while developing the application, it happens that the application crashes, and the tasks remain open and running. After I fix the error and execute the program, the application reports the error, "-200089 Task Name specified conflicts with an existing task name". To recover from this error, I need to restart the PC, which is most frustrating and time consuming. If I could know the tasks and task handles those are already created and running, I can safely delete them or continue using them.
I would appreciate if you could help me in resolving this problem.

To read the tasks currently configured on the system you can use this function: DAQmxGetSysTasks. This will return an array of the tasks on the system. In that same section of the DAQmx C Reference Help they talk about obtaining the other parameters you mention.
Another solution would be to add security to MAX such that only engineers with proper permissions could launch and/or modify the tasks. This can be done with Windows XP in the properties of a file.
