i have created a JTree and have some data in , now i want to sort all data in this JTree, can anyone tell me how to do this? or write a peace of code if you can.

Sorting records problem in BOE

Hi all.
I have a problem. I have created a new Crystal Reports Report which I uploaded to BOE. I tested it firstly locally in my machine, refreshing it through Crystal Reports at design time. It gives me the results I want.
This reports gets called from another application via URL using the opendocument command. Such application sends the proper parameters to my report when I upload it to BOE. The BOE server connects to the same DatabaseServer which I get connected locally. The problem comes when I execute the Report in BOE through the opendocument command, cause it sorts the records in a different order from the order I get when I run it locally which is a big issue since the main functionality of this report is based on the order it presents the information.
The DataSource for my Report is an Oracle Stored Procedure.
This would be the output of my local Report (It would be clearer if I could upload the PDF file itself, but I'm afraid I can't)

The record containing CPM FOP_01 C1 Spread does exist in my report, but should be placed in another section below the section it is placed now.
Besides, the report in BOE is doing weird things such as hiding some totals is should not hide.
I wonder is this has something to do with some sort of problem involving the services, or maybe some cache memory or something alike. I tried as many things as have come to my mind in order to solve this issue, but now I'm out of ideas.
As always, any help will be very useful for me and my team

Hi Gabriel,
Since you are a BOE user you should also have a support contract. I suggest you log a new case and get a Support engineer working with your directly. Then you can attach the PDF to the case.

Artist sort order problem

Hi.
I have music sync'd via iTunes Match from my laptop to my iPad and to my iPhone. The names and order appear correct on both the laptop and on the iPad but on the iPhone several artists are either shown in all lower case or the last name will be used by the sort, rather than the first.
I've reset the artist, album artist and sort artist tags to different names (and they show up correctly then on the iPhone) and then set them back, but the problem remains.
I'm thinking that the iPhone has a corrupt file somewhere - but how can I reset that without losing everything on the phone?
A factory reset and restore from iCloud results in the same problem.
Any ideas?

I also have an Artist sort order problem. While the circumstances are quite different from yours, I wonder if it's due to a similar corruption problem. I don't use iTunes Match. I found Kenny G listed under letter T.

I just bought the latest Mac mini i5 but every time I try to transfer my files from time machine back-up of my mini mid 2011 model I always come up with some sort of problem?

I am so fed up with using time machine to restore my files from my previous mini. I have tried several different ways and every time there is some sort of problem. I just want to restore it back to the original setting and manually reinstall my personal software. My question is: Is it better to reinstall osx using the recovery drive or downloaded from the app store. Also if you have already reinstalled from the app store does that effect the recovery drive?

It does not make any difference it you reinstall from recovery partition or app store since in either case the OSX install files are downloaded from Apple servers.

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folders. In OS X 10.9 there are two sandboxes, while in earlier versions there is only one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Repeat with this line:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combinationcommand-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...

Hard drive replacement, now all sorts of problems

A couple weeks ago my hard drive crashed. I confirmed at the Apple store that it was the hard drive, and they gave me instructions on how to put a new one in.
Since I've put the new one in I've had all sorts of problems.
1. My previously totally fine battery doesn't show up at all. Though the battery says it's fully charged, the laptop says that no battery is available.
2. DVDs don't play. The DVD player gets rolling, and then freezes.
3. Photobooth doesn't load "because the camera is in use by another application".
4. My external sound input/output can't be recognized or set up though the driver (also because the IOdirect is "in use").
5. The computer won't completely shut down sometimes and freezes on the blue screen just prior to complete shut down.
I've wiped the hard drive and started over to the same results.
Please, any help?

Have you fixed you problem yet?
1. Have you checked to make sure that the drive is plugged in properly and setting on the proper mounts that were on the old drive?
2. How did you go about putting the OS OSX on the newly installed drive? Ex. Did you install OSX and all you applications then then restored you personal data from a backup? Did you use Time Machine to restore OSX and all data to the new drive? Or did you use a previously cloned drive, along with a program such as SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Clone, to restore to the new drive?

I just upgraded to iTunes 12 and had all sorts of problems. After several restores I seem to be able to sync my iPad with iTunes BUT I can't delete anything off my iPad from iTunes. Any ideas on what to do?

HT2204 I don't remember the answers to the security question to authorize my new laptop to use iTunes. How to sort this problem?

iTunes requires me to answer to a couple of security questions to authorize me to use it on my new mac book pro, but I don't rimember the answer to them. I can I sort out this problem?

I believe I might have a virus on my mac. Mackeeper shows up 4 times on my download listings but there is no icon on my applications tab. Does this mean I have installed some sort of problem on my computer now?

Hello Last night while watching a video on Facebook a pop up window said I had a virus and to clean it click on the link. I did so and followed a prompt or 2 and then I thought this was a scam so I stopped. However I looked at my download file and it shows Mackeeper listed 4 times. Does this mean I have installed MacKeeper and if so does this mean I have installed some sort of malware/spyware or problems for my computer hence for myself.

ITunes 11 sorting tracks problem

Hi All,
I recently replaced the hard drive on an Acer laptop (running on Windows 7) and so I needed to re-install iTunes. Unfortunately I installed iTunes 11.
I then re-impoted all of my music from an external hard drive. I do like to keep my music library nicely sorted (ie solo artists sorted by surname etc) but I cannot now do this as the info fields are greyed out.
I do not have this problem on a 6 year old desktop running XP even though that has iTunes 11 installed.
Can anyone help me with this please. I'm hoping it's something simple like an option within the iTunes menu.

I think I've cracked this one. I know a few others have been experiencing problems with the same issue.
When I downloaded iTunes 11 for the laptop I had repaired I accepted an option given on iTunes (something to do with iCloud maybe) to import my music directly rather than doing it manually. This seemed to make the entire contents of my music folder into a read only folder. I've unchecked this flag now via Windows Explorer and after manually importing the songs it works. I can now edit the song / artist info.

Hi, I too am having lots of problems and wondered whether someone could help?
We moved into our house recently. Its 15 years old and has had a BT line previously, however we still needed a new one installing apparently.
Engineer came to do this saturday just gone but couldn't complete as some problems with exchange and the line not getting a dial tone etc.
Someone came out Monday to try and fix this, said further problems.
Someone came out Tuesday and finally said fixed. Got emails from BT saying line and broadband sorted.
Came home - broadband very slow. Plugged into the main socket, several calls to BT, checked speed online, the stats are below.
Despite it saying 7meg it is still very slow. Taking ages to download anything, simple pages on the internet take ages to load etc.
Also did a test on speedtest.net and got quite different results. Have posted both results below.
Getting very annoyed now as seems no1 can work out what the problem is, get transferred to BT tech help in india every night spending hours on end just for them to say they don't know what the problem is.
No idea what to do next. Advice much appreciated.

Hi again,
Having now waited a total of 15 days since the line went active, these are the stats. We did briefly get up to 5mb but it has dropped again. The router has not been touched, turned off or played with at all for over a week now. This is still not achieving the max it is capable of, any ideas?

Sorting JTree results in collapse of nodes!

I've searched and searched and can not find a good example of how to do this. I've found many threads that pose the question with the only answer being something like "I figured it out, thanks anyway".
My problem:
I've got a tree, many nodes, many depths. I'd like to sort it. My present algorithm is to traverse the tree and sort the list of children of each node. Once I sort the children, obviously the indexes have changed, so you must correct them.
I've tried:
remove all children from the parent
add the children in sorted order
If I do that using something like parent.remove and parent.insert, thats fine as long as no children UNDER those children have been expanded. If they have, then I'm not accounting for them and thus the tree continues to show those children under the wrong nodes once the sorted nodes are added.
If I do that using something like model.removeNodeFromParent and model.insertNodeInto, then the entire tree will collapse up to the node sorted on.
Either way sucks!
I've also tried passing Arrays.sort my own comparator that, depending on the compare outcome, will do the removeFromParent and insertNodeInto on the fly. This results in NOT collapsing the entire tree (probably because all nodes are never removed) however it seems like on a descending sort the nodes get messed up. I assumed this was because I was reordering them on the fly in the tree...but now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I was doing something else wrong.
In any case, is there a standard proceedure for doing this? Why does it seem so difficult? I've spent a good two days on this. Crazy!
