Run GTKLookAndFeel on Windows?

Hi folks,
the context: need it for hacking around gtk-specific issues, f.i. the incorrect return implementation of getBorderInsets in GTKPainter$ListTableFocusBorder - which returns null for not-label rendering components which in obvious violation of super's contract. That came up in SwingX

Okay, I know - that's not possible generally ;-). What I can do so far is
- copied the gtk plaf code from openjdk into an eclipse project, compiles fine
- set the GTKLookAndFeel: is "working" in that a frame with dark gray content - which somewhere contains a JXTable - and blind click somewhere into the column where the exception is thrown. See the exception as reported. Can install a wrapper border and don't see the exception
Obviously, I would like to be a bit less blind. So tried my UIPropertiesViewer on the GTKLookAndFeel ... which immediately throws a
Caused by: java.lang.Error:
Could not find any installed metacity theme, and fallback failed
     at com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.Metacity.<clinit>(Metacity.java:87)not overly surprising - that code section tries to load a theme from a location in the linux sphere which I don't have. Methinking that I could tweak that class and feed it the required resourcefile from somewhere else

   xmlDoc = getXMLDoc(themeURL);Now the question is: where to get a complete metacity-theme-1.xml? And if I have one, would that help or be just the top of an Eisberg?

haha ... got what I deserve for not reporting back immediately that I did search for the exact file name and got it right after my posting <g>
Beside that technicality, did you ever try it? Doesn't work (meaning: still seeing nothing, just the NPE on accessing the uidefaults is gone now) here. Not quite sure why that's the case, I faintly remember that I had at least some sketchy output some months ago. Will leave it for now, some real work waiting :-)
