Source view looks OK but no diagram

Question

The following BPEL code (downloaded from the packt website) looks OK in the source view of BPEL Designer but the diagram view is blank. I guess there is a syntax error in the code that's preventing generation of the diagram. How can I find it?

process defining wsdl missing ... and the deployment descriptor (bpel.xml) .. to start you create a new sync process, name it Employee and give it the namespace ttp://packtpub.com/service/employee/ - replace the bpel source with this one, and change the wsdl to reflec the types and operations ..
at least one sync operation named EmployeeTravelStatus, and ensure the partnerlink name is correct ..
