Hi,
If you want to know more about how the error occurred, it is recommended to debug the workflow to get more details about the error.
Here are some links about how to debug workflow in SharePoint 2013 for your reference:

    Hi Neelima,
Tax Jurisdiction code is related mainly to US.
Please check the if tax jurisdiction code is maintained in SPRO > Financial Accounting > Financial Accounting Global Settings 's basic settings part. If not, maintain the same for the state. This might help you.

  • Stat machine workflow task workflow status different values on different state activity(Approval level)

i have developed the State machine workflow in which i am using default workflow task
i have added one status dropdown and that is having approve or reject that i set using workflow task drop down values
now my requirement is that when my workflow goes to different approval i need to have different status values in dropdown
    for example
on manager approval state activity i need to add additional status value forward to legal
but when it moved to next activity this task status field should show only approve and reject
in summary i need to have different status values for workflow task when it moved to different state activity(approval levels)
can we set these status field of task for state machine workflow programtically as well like for different approval level of task i need different status to be set for the dropdown of task status field

    Hi Shahid Siddique,
I have seen a similar thread from you about this issue, create custom form for the seperate form is a considerable workaround, you can have a check whether it works.

I developed my state machine workflow using visual studio 2010 its successfully deployed; even I can see the feature is activated on site collection level, but its not showing in the list settings --> workflow settings --> add workflow Any Reason ??

    Thanks Bhavik,
I got the answer , actually I didn't experience it before with site workflows , it shows where we create a list just beside you can find site workflows, off course feature activation is necessary after that for workflow activation this is the way.

    Thanks
    Thiago

    Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your response. I understood your comments but, the system was running fine for about 3 months. No changes have been applied during this time and suddenly this error pops out.
I opened a case with MS Support, but they applied a WA which does not resolve our problem, because the error appears after a few days later after the WA procedure.
The WA is just a watermark reset using this SQL query:
    DECLARE @MaxTransactionId Int, @RuleID uniqueidentifier
    SET @RuleID = '' -- <-- SET THIS TO YOUR RULE ID!!!
    SET @MaxTransactionId = (SELECT MAX(EntityTransactionLogId) FROM EntityTransactionLog)
    UPDATE CmdbInstanceSubscriptionState
    SET State = @MaxTransactionId
    WHERE RuleId = @RuleID
The problem with this WA is that all Work Items affected by the problem - workflows not being applied - do not get the information we need to identify all the SLA's. The system just "forget" them and moves on.
    Cheers,
    Thiago

  • WorkFlow Error when publishing

    Hello,

    Hi,
For your issue, Re-register the workflow service using command:
    Register-SPWorkflowService -SPSite 'https://myhost/mysite' -WorkflowHostUri 'https://workflowhost' -AllowOAuthHttp -Force
Reopened SharePoint Designer again and test again.

  • SharePoint 2013 State Machine Workflow Developped using Visual Studio 2013 Terminated

    Hi all,
I developped a state machine workflow using Visual Studio 2013, and deplyed to SharePoint 2013, the workflow work fine for first task, and some times for second task.
after that the workflow become terminated with below error:
    - System.Activities.Statements.WorkflowTerminatedException: The workflow instance exceeded the throttle of 10000 activities executed in a row and could not be unloaded because it was not persistable.
I spent many days to solve this issue but witout any result...
    Please advice...

    Hi,
According to your description, there seems an endless loop in your workflow which makes the workflow exceed the throttle.
A suggestion is that you can create a new clean sample state machine workflow firstly, when it works without error, then adding other activities with custom logic
    gradually.
By doing this, it would be easier to find out what might cause the error in this workflow.

  • Workflow Error Message: System Account - The Workflow could not set Content Approval Status

This is the first time I try an approval workflow. I am using a template in MS Word and assigned an approval workflow to it. The approval workflow is only going to one person in this case.
When I start the work flow the following 3 error messages show up:
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The Workflow could not set Content Approval Status. Enable content moderation for this list and run the workflow again.
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the e-mail has a valid recipient.
Workflow Error Message: System Account - The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly.
Thank you for your kind guidance.

    Hi,
For the first error: Did you set Content Approval in the workflow?  If so, see if you have it in the versioning settings of the list settings.
For the second error: double check your recipient is set up as being valid.  Did you type in the email address or is it referring to a people picker field?  also, make sure that in the workflow for the email that you actually populated it in the
    To: field.
for the third error: I suspect that either your farm is not configured for email.  Or, this error is a knock on from the second error.  If you get the second error rectified it may clear this error.  If not then double check the email settings
    for your farm.

Have you created the resposibilities for the rule 60100010 becuase if you observe the rule it will determine the agents by using the category Agent Determination: Reponsibilities so i think you missed to create responsibilities
    for creating responsibilities [check|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/ef/3dc9469bbe11d189470000e8216659/content.htm]
Also check that if Rule fails to determine the agents correctly then how can you [handle|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/7f/aed54c9c8d11d1894c0000e8216659/content.htm]

  • Issue in N level workflow of shopping cart

    Hi all,
SRM5.0 and ECC5, using ECS scenario
We are using the N level workflow ( SC approval workflow and not item level workflow) with the BADI for determining the approvers of the shopping cart.
The following are issues faced during rejection:
    1. When the 1st approver rejects some of the line items and approves others, The SC is sent back to the requester or. the requester accepts the changes, the SC instead of going to the next level of approvers gets approved.
I have debugged and found that the actual index is set to 2 and the next level of approvers are determined correctly in the BADI, once it is out of the BADI, something happens and the SC is approved and it doesn't go for approval.
    2. When the 1st approver approves all the line items and the 2nd approver does a partial rejection, the SC is sent back to the requester and once the requester accepts the changes, the workflow restarts and the approvers are redetermined again.
For the 2nd issue, if its a standard process, Can onyone provide me with a document or a OSS note which can be used for substantiating it. Does this behavior correspond to the back and forth process of N level workflow?
    Thanks and Regards
    Kishan

    Hi Munna,
The code just determines the approvers for each level, this works fine when I debug but it changes after the control comes out of the N level BADI.
Is there any other check which I need to do?
    Regards

  • Statement level trigger!!!!

    Hi Gurus,
I have an issue here. I am inserting multiple rows in a table say A. so I wrote an after insert trigger for each row referencing new as new and old as old on table A. This trigger when fired inserts rows in table B.
These rows are selected from say table C by using the :new.column (one of the coulmns that are about to be inserted in tableA) of table A as parameter and then inserted into table B. But I want that trigger to fire only once though I am inserting multiple rows.
For this purpose I took out the "for each row and referencing new as new and old as old statements" to make it statement level trigger but in this case I am unable to use the :new.column of table A as parameters. Can anyone please suggest how to read the rows in statement level trigger that are being inserted in table A and pass them as parameters to select the values from table C and again insert them in table B. I know it is kinda confusing. Any suggestions...... Thanks in advance!!!!!

    Hi warren,
Thnx for ur response. here is the code
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER ALPHA_AIR
    AFTER INSERT
    ON ALPHA
REFERENCING NEW AS NEW OLD AS OLD
    FOR EACH ROW
    DECLARE
    l_source varchar2(10);
    l_amount number;
    l_comments varchar2(50);
    BEGIN
         SELECT      b_source,
              b_amount,
              b_comments
         INTO     l_source,
              l_amount,
              l_comments
         FROM BETA
         WHERE beta_id=:new.alpha_id:
         INSERT INTO GAMMA
    ( g_source,
         g_amount,
         g_comments,
         date )
         VALUES (
              l_source,
              l_amount,
              l_comments,
              sysdate);
    END;
The trigger is on table ALPHA and it selects data from BETA using :new.alpha_id as parameter. But for multiple rows inserted in table ALPHA, multiple times rows are inserted in table GAMMA. So I made it statement level trigger but I cannot pass :new.alpha_id as parameter in the select statement. Is there any way to do this. Hope it makes sense.
