Split the delivery or create multiple deliveries

Hi team,
Sale order stock is grater than Truck capacity.
We need a solution to either split the delivery; or create multiple deliveries at the time of delivery creation.
Manually we are doing calculations for pallets capacity and then doing loading still some quantity pending or some space pending
Is there any program that can split delivery via Sales order and create Outbound delivery through pallatization..
Any such scenarios you have please suggest.?

Hi,
Normally we can split the deliveries based on the following criteria
1. Different delivery dates for line items.
2. Different ship to parties for line items.
3. Different routes for line items.
But in your above case the issue is regarding truck capacity for which the system doesn't have any information. So you can manually create a new delivery by adjusting the existing one or if you feel the issue is going to repeat for different items in future also then you can go build a custom logic in the system to address the delivery split using a user exit.

How to prevent from creating multiple deliveries per sales order

Hi,
Appreciate your help on the below.,
I do not want the users to create multiple deliveries for a single sales order. They should only be allowed to create one delivery and it can either be a full delivery or a partial delivery.
Is there any possibility in configuration to do this? I checked the customer master configuration, but it is only for sales order line item.. I only need one delivery for the entire order, regardless of whether it included all line items or not.
If the user tries to create a second delivery for the same order, it should ideally give an error message and stop the system from creating the second delivery

I tried this again, however it still works only at item level.
Say i have a sales order, with 2 line items with 50 each.
Say i create an delivery for only the first line item for 20, delivery gets created.. It doesnt allow to create the delivery for rest of the 30 on that line item,
However if i try to create a delivery for the second line item, it allows and the delivery gets created.
I only want one single delivery for the entire order.

I want to create multiple deliveries against the same Customer return order. But once the RF transaction is run it closes all the lines. We need to be able to receive multiple times against the same RA number and create different deliveries. Any ideas?

Why does Scheduling Agreements create multiple deliveries?

We are on 4.7c. Our scheduling agreements automatically create deliveries; and I was wondering why instead of putting the scheduled lines onto one delivery, it automatically creates multiple deliveries for the scheduling agreements.
Could someone please explain this to me? Thank you for your time.

In addition, I checked to make sure the Scheduling Agreement Header Details had the "Order Combination" box checked, which will allow multiple scheduling agreements to be combined in one delivery.
Our scheduling agreement runs on the weekends where it automatically creates the deliveries for them.
My question is why do the scheduling agreements with the "Order Combination" box checked do not always put the scheduling agreements into one delivery. but separates them, when they are in the same automated run.
For example:
Scheduling Agreement 0001 through 0045 will be created on Delivery 100001, but Scheduling Agreements 0046 though 0048 will be created on Delivery 100002...and they both have the order combination selected.
Why is Scheduling Agreements 0046 through 0048, not automatically creating on Delivery 100001 as the other scheduling agreements?

I am having exactly the same requirement. My requirement is that i need to split one Sale Order line into multiple line items in delivery based on the stock in a particular storage location at the time of delivery creation.
Eg.
Line item 10 in Sale order for quantity 100.
Storage location stock in the priority
ST01 = 40
ST02 = 25
ST03 = 2000
I wish to have 3 line items in delivery like
Line item           Storage Location             Qty
10                     ST01                                40
20                     ST02                                25
30                     ST03                                35
I was able to do the same in the BADI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC ~ SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
But i am facing problems regarding the inconsistency in delivery document such as Picking status update etc
Suggest if there is any better method to do.

Splitting of delivery based on Multiple TO's in ware house

Hi,
We have implemented SD and WM modules.
We created a sales order for say 100 nos and created a delivery of the same quantity. System creates 2 TO's for the above quantity since we are using TO split functionality based on material lying in 2 bins say TO1 for 60 and TO2 for 40 which is happening automatically on saving the delivery.
There are some details which we need to pass from TO details to delivery line item and hence delivery should get also split as per TO quantity.
Is there some additional configuration which needs to be done to split the delivery or we need to do so through some user exit?
Request an urgent help.

Syndicator Server: possible to split the export file in multiple file?

is it possible to split the export files into multiple files e. g. at 5000 records?
Perhaps there is a possibility in the mdss.ini? Or a setting in the mapping?

Hi Melanie,
- If you are syndicating in the Xml format you have the option to syndicate one xml for every record. or multiple records one xml.
For this you have to make a simple setting in the Syndicator-> Map properties->XML file output->(multiple files/single file)
Other way around is:
- If you are syndiacting in any other format say text then the output file goes as one file for all records present in the MDM repository, for this you can use the search options.
- Create a search on some field value which will select a set of records from the lot.
- Then you can syndicate only those records which satisfies the search criteria.
- In this way it is possible to syndicate in parts

Okay this is what fixed my problem. Some kind of error/glitch occured half-way through importing that third cd that prevented further imports from any other cd. Once I completely removed the half-imported cd album from my library I could further import cd's without any problems.

How to tranfer changes in the sales order when the delivery is created

Can anyone please help for the following scenario:
Sales Order created --> Delivery created --> Customer calls to make changes in Sales Order.
In this case what customizing is required so that the changes in Sales Order (including 1. qty & 2. delivery date or 3.Addition of new Line item) triggers changes in delivery.

As per my best knowledge ther's no such setting. Copy control works only when you are creating the delivery from the SO.
So, I think you have two options - basically:
- modify the already created delivery manually
- delete the delivery and create a new one form the updated SO

basically i am an BI consultant with less knowledge on ABAP, can i request your help on the ABAP task.
I am working on HR module which is integrated with SAP BI, the reports will be executed based on calendar month the requirement is i should split the single record into a multiple records based on validity of the record. basically the HR data would be in data from and date to.
below is the logic
Check whether the start and end date of the record are in the same month and year.
If yes  nothing changes
If no  create multiple records
1st record  original start date of the record u2018till end of that month
Following record  1st of the next month u2018till last day of the month
u2026
Last record  1st of the month u2018till original end date.
All fields will have the same values, only the datefrom and dateto fields change.
Can any one please provide me the same code to proceed on my task.

MRP splitting the reservation qty to multiple purchase requisitions

Hi SAP gurus,
We currently have an issue with our MRP splitting the total reservation qty into two purchase requsitions.
For example: Res A = 100. After MRP run, 2 Pur Reqs will be generated with PR 1 = 60 and PR 2 = 40.
We checked the source list, info records for minimum order qty but we are not maintaining it at all. We also tried entering the max lot size to 10,000 but still it didn't work.
Any advice on how we could resolve this, please?

For the purposes of troubleshooting, you should ensure that both purchase reqs are unfirmed, then use "3 delete/recreate" planning mode for your MRP runs to minimize possible confusion. So, 1-3-1-3-1 until this is fixed. Also, run regen one time NETUPL.
What is your Strategy group?
And to confirm and reiterate, your Material master stuff is
Quota arrangement usage = blank
Min lot = 0
max lot = 10000
max stock = 0
rounding = 0
Rounding profile= blank
No entries whatsoever in the Safety stock block
Planned delivery time 154
No entries whatsoever in the 'Storage Location MRP' block
Your reservation creation date is Nov 11 and your reservations reqment date is Nov 11. You have no other supply elements (purchase orders/purchase reqs/stock/production orders/planned orders etc) and you have no other requirements elements (sales orders/deliveries/other reservations/dependent rqments, etc).
Are your purchase reqs sourced? Are the sources different? If so, can you give me the standard qty and maximum qty and planned delivery time from each of the Purchase info records? Or, are you using a Contract or a Scheduling agreement?
