SPOOL_NO_CONVERSION error when running programs in a job.

Hi,
We just refreshed our Quality system and made it a copy of production.
We are facing a problem in our quality system.
Now there are three individual programs which are supposed to run one after another. These programs are combined in one job. If they are run individually, it runs fine and all the spools are created. But if we run the three programs in a job, then it gives an error called SPOOL_NO_CONVERSION during last step.
Can someone please help and let us know why this happens and what is the solution ?

Hello Gurus,
I am facing a typical problem these days.
The background job for program SWN_SELSEN is scheduled in every 5 mins. It has started to fail intermittently with the error message 'An instance of the report SWN_SELSEN is still active'. But the stange thing is that the program completes its execution in approx. 12 - 15 secs then why this kind of error it is throwing.
This error message should not come as the program completes itself in 12- 15 secs and it has more than 4 mins as free time.
Please help as this kind of failure is happenning quite frequently i.e. once in nearly every three times it executes. In a day around 100 times.

Hello,
I assume you've checked in SM37 to see how often it actually runs and whether perhaps two instances have been scheduled?
Also check the log in SLG1 to see if there is any clue there.

I get an error in my job log when I run "role usage synchronization". Has anyone seen this before:

I have seen this kind of error more than a year back. May be the role name contains special character or somewhere in the role table there is a space or something. I will recommend you to open a message with SAP.

Getting error when running program

I have just installed the J2SE 5.0 JDk and NetBeans IDE 4.0. I am trying to teach myself java and am having trouble running a simple Welcome Java program. I get the following error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Welcome
Can someone tell me what I need to do to fix this?

I have tested it and the code it works, as long as you have named the class Welcome.java. When I try your code with Welco.java, it makes the same "noClassDef" error.
I suggest for you to:
1- remake your application
2- name your class Welcome (Welcome.java)
3- paste your code
4- build it
5- Execute it.
If you get the error message, please let me know.

Jbulder error when running program on XP

Hi,
i created a small application using JBuilder 2005 Foundation edition. all the program does is compare two files and put out a comparison file. It has a GUI. I created an .exe using jbuilder that works fine on an NT machine but not on an XP machine. i know that the class paths are set differently on both OS's and have allowed for this. nothing happens when I double click the .exe icon (on XP) and when i try to run it from the cmd prompt it comes up with this error:
Unable to find a supported JDK or JRE version. Version 1.3.1 or higher is required.
Check your installation and use +javahome the JDK or JRE location.
I have 1.4.2_08 installed and all works fine on programs i run from the cmd prompt. Its just any .exe that comes from the JBuilder IDE won't work. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to run the app from a Command Prompt or fro Text Pad?
The error occurs when java can not find the class you tried to run. It is very likely a Classpath problem. It may work from the Command Prompt from the directory where the NumberConvert.class is located, enter "java -classpath . NumberConvert"

I think this is the Z program. You need to check the functional specification of this program and if that is correct and the program is not working as per func spec.
Then you need to check with technical consultants why the program is not working as per func spec.

Iam having a SYSTEM_NO_TASK_STORAGE runtime Error when running program RSSB_GENERATE_AUTHORIZATIONS in a BW 3.5 system when it is attempting to load a very large amount of users/profiles from HR Structural Authorizations into BW. The HR Structural Authorizations - Values 0PA_DS02 ODS was loaded with 47 million records when following the process specified on <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e1cba990-0201-0010-43ae-af579aee7a73">this SDN document.</a>
Memory parameters have been continually adjusted to try to allow the process to run with no results.

Did you try and break up the loads into smaller chunks ?
Else you can also try and increase the number of data packets by breaking up the data packets into smaller amount if data.

When I go and look into the Data Services repository AL_BW_REQUEST table, the first time the job is run, all five fields in this table populate with data successfully. When re-running the job, on 3 out of the five fields within this table are populated but the VALUE and DF_NAME field are not populated, hence causing the primary key violation.
Here is the data below from the AL_BW_REQUEST table:

If I truncate this table and re-run the DS job, it will not populate the VALUE and DF_NAME fields.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? The target source is BW.

Shell Script gives error when run through cron job.

But the same gives below error when called from a cron job:

We are running following version:

When I used #!/usr/bin/sh now even the manul execution of the script fails with the same err:
bash-3.00$ ./arch_test.sh

And when I used #!/usr/bin/ksh the manual execution runs fine but again when the script is run from cronjob it now give dirrect err:

Error when running BDLS

Dear expert,
BDLS as the final steps of system refresh (ECC), i failed with error
i scheduled it as the background job
error: "Data inconsistency when running program RBDLSMAP, form routine PROCESS_SPECIAL_OBJECTS"
And also i can't not run the BDLS again , by error "new logical already assigned" and I failed to delete the entry in BD54
Anyone have idea?
And i would also like to know the risk if we skip the BDLS running after refresh

Error when running allocation logic

I am running the following allocation logic and get the following error:

*ENDALLOCATION
UJP_RULE_EXCEPTION:Missing [] on property name: WHAT=CE0004010. I get this error when executing the script using the program "UJK_SCRIPT_LOGIC_TESTER". I also get a similar error when running it via the data manager package.
Any thoughts on why this error is happening?

I think you are using formula property for any of the dimension member used in the Allocation logic.
FYI Allocation will not work fine for the dimension members which is calculated using the formula written in the formula Property.
There is no problem with your script it looks fine.

Error when generating program /SAPAPO/TSM141

Hello APO Experts!!
I have one infocube for sales history, which has one key figure that contains the sales history values.
First, I was using this key figure in one planning area. This Key Figure Semantics for Read and Write Operations was 002 = Semantics for InfoCube key figures.
Now, I had to include the same key figure in another planning area and with the same configuration Semantics = 002.
The problem is, in my DEV system, the modification was perfect. Then when I did in the QA system, I´ve got the error "Error when generating program /SAPAPO/TSM141" when trying to access the data in the planning books that are created in the first planning area.
For the second planning area, nothing happens, everything is working correctly.
Do you have any idea of what this could be?

Sounds like a Planning Area extraction problem. First of all check that all your required BW InfoObjects are created for the Planning Areas, then check that the Semantics you mentioned are the same for all Aggregates in the Planning Area.
Also try running program /SAPAPO/TS_PSTRU_GEN to regenerate the planning area extractor.
Delete and recreate the data source.

Error when generating program when creating CVC using infoprovider

We are receiving the message "Error when generating program" when
creating CVC using infoprovider.
This may have something to do with the fact that we added an attribute
to the infoObject 9ALOCNO. We are getting an information message if we
run a consistency check in the POS.
We had this same issue in our development system. Here, I deactivated
and then reactivated the CVCs and this resolved the problem. However,
this is not a good solution since this is also a problem in our
production system and we do not want to deactivate the POS.
is there another option to fix this problem?

i would try these:
1. Make sure the cube is active and every thing ok there
2. Run programs /SAPAPO/TS_PSTRU_CONS_CHECK on POS and /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK on planning area respectively.
3. Check the CVC creation log in transaction /n/sapapo/mc62 for more details.
