Spreading Capacity Problem

Hello All,
I am using a Workcenter in an activity. The Work-center has capacity of 8 hrs/per day. I assign 40 hrs of work to this activity and with the 'basic dates' using start date & finish date use 2 weeks ( i.e, 10 working days ) to finish the work.
When I run CM01 transaction to see the load on the Workcenter, the load for the first 5 working days is shown as 0 hrs, whereas for the last 5 working days shows 8 hrs each.
I want to 'manually' spread the capacity for all the 10 working days (as 4 hrs each) and see this new result using CM01 transaction. Firstly is it possible and if yes how can I achieve the same. Can capacity leveling help in any way.
Can someone kindly help resolve this.
Thanks,
Sachin

Hi Sachin,
Just try this,
In the activity detail screen maintain the Calculation Key as "Maintain Manually" and in the work field enter 40 hrs. Maintain the normal duration as 10 days and finally choose the appropriate distribution key as suggested by Nitin or you may also check using the other distribution keys.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Gokul

  • Zen Vision M capacity problem

I have a 30GB Vision M, and had a problem during a sync. Now, I put a little over 800 songs on it and it says it is full.
How can I restore the capacity?

I just realized how stupid what I just sent you was!? It says "Total Space - 28565 MB", which I guess would
be about right, since 30GM would be a little over 30000MB. I can't figure out why it will only take 800 songs,
unless there is something on it that isn't showing up. It should hold 5 times that many.

  • Storage Capacity Problem - Macbook Air 11.6"

I got this MBAir last December, and sometime last month had a complete crash... why, because I was forced to terminate a certain application, everything frozen, and I force off (holding power button for 5 seconds)
    History:
    1. I installed a new partition for XP, not via bootcamp because I was having problem acquiring the drivers, size is 9G.
    2. 128G as I remember shows as my storage capacity (or if not, it could be only minus 1-2G)
    3. I realized, I don't need the XP at all, so I decided to have it deleted, but I could not delete it via Disk Utility so I left the app (Disk U) running at the background, and did something else.
    4. Frozen... force restart.
    5. Start up disk (both Mac and PC) could not be detected.
    6. I inserted the flash drive startup disk, and performed the Disk Utility VERIFY AND REPAIR, but not successful.
    7. Ran REFORMAT and REPARTITION.
Now I only have one partition, restored my Time Machine Backup, and everything was restored back, but I noticed huge amount of storage space missing. About 9 G.
Can someone help me with this please??
By the way, I now run Leopard 10.6.4, and still running the update (download) of the 1.06G file size... it takes days before completion with my current Satellite Internet connection.

Now, you can. Your SSD has a capacity of 128,000,000,000 bytes (this is the method device manufacturer's use. You will find this noted in the footnote on the MBA's specs: +1GB=1 billion bytes; actual formatted capacity may be less+.) If you divide the above by 1024^3 it will equal 119.21 GBs or 120,000,000,000 bytes, approximately. Hence what appears to be a loss of storage space. In actuality the two are the same. One computed using Base 10 and the other using Base 2 arithmetic.
You can approximate the difference on any drive by deducting about 7% from the manufacturer's stated capacity. For a 128 GB drive that is about 8.96 GBs - your missing 9 GBs.)

  • How do I fix over capacity problem caused by Itunes 10 on 80GB classic?

I had just recently automatically updated my Ipod classic 80GB to Itunes 10.4.1.10, not by choice I might add, but automatically. Anyway, I then tried to sync my ipod to make sure everything was good, shouldn't have been a problem, if anything add a few items onto my ipod. Prior to this sync, I had a little over 40GB worth of music on my ipod, don't think I had many videos, but didn't really have any to put on just yet. Under summary screen, other wouldn't be but a few MBs and I would have just a couple GBs under 40 free. Now it shows other, which I had assumed to be contacts, photos and the like at over 40GBs and 14GBs of that puts it over capacity. That "other" data is a ghost, I'm certain that I don't have that much data on there, nor do I have it in my itunes library waiting to be put on there. This only occurred because of the updated software, and Apple doesn't seem to want to support me in fixing what they appear to have broken. If anyone has a fix for this, or has any idea as to a promised patch for their software bug, please help me out or give me a heads up. Thx in advance.

If you had Firefox save your Yahoo password, first try deleting that here:
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Security > "Saved Passwords"
The "signed out" message seems to be related to how Yahoo authenticates you. Some users have reported that disabling automatic proxy detection solves the problem, and it also resolves an issue of getting logged out every few minutes, if you have ever experienced that.
    To make the change:
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the "Network" mini-tab, click the "Settings" button, then choose "No Proxy" and OK your way back out.
If your work connection requires you to use a proxy server, try the "Use system settings" option instead.
    Does that help?

  • ORACLE Spread Table problem !

    Please help me !
Whenever my form call the method "Connect" or "Query" of the Oracle Spread Table, the form runtime immediately quit without any warning or error message !!

Yes it have a connection method, the problem here is that this control returns a SCODE value, and i don't know where it is specified to return variables.

  • Capacity problem in production order

    Hi Friends
I am facing a serious problem in capacity evaluation. After MRP run with scedulling as 2. After this I am able to see the capacity in respective work centers for the planned orders. But when converted to production order I am not able to see. When I checked the order it is showing as "Order 60003310 has no requirements in the eval.period, so there is no display".
I dont have any clue as whats happening since the capacity is there till it is a planned order. Any suggestion?
    Thanks & regds

    Hi,
Your problem is with Evaluation period as system not displaying the capacity so first check whther is nay capacity requirement is there in this period you can check with CM01 also.
    In OPD2.
Assuming you want to create a time profile for 2 months.
Entry Type    Start Date     End Date
    Database Read Period            J                -3                   3
The database read period specifies the period in which capacity requirements are read  from the database. All requirements are accessed which are partially or completely
    within the database read period.
    Evaluation Period          G              -1           60
The evaluation period specifies the period over which data is formatted and displayed.
The evaluation period must lie within the database read period.
    Planning Period            G              -1           60
The planning period defines the period in which the SAP system can carry out planning.
The planning period is smaller than or equal to the evaluation period. You cannot move  operations outside the planning period. Equally, when automatic finite scheduling is
carried out for an operation the system only searches for a new date .
    Please check and come back.

I have bought a macbook pro retina late 2013 13 inch (me865) today but something is wrong that my full battery capacity is always changing and cannot show the right capacity of the full battery sometimes it show 6330 mAh sometimes it shows 6309 mAh in the system report power section, so that it can change also my battery time. The cycle is 2 and one thing more we have opened the item in the store to check the item they have plugged  a magsafe2 adapter on it but i didnt see the watt of the magsafe2 now i am charging within 60 watt magsafe 2 which is came out from box is that a problem? I have also reset smc but ıt doesnt effect
also the revision is showing 389?

Take it back where you purchased it or simply come to grips with understanding that the battery will continue to charge to ever decreasing levels. This is normal as the battery use time increases.

  • Idiosyncratic Capacity Problem Copying to FAT32 - Not The Usual

    Here's the thing.
I'm well aware that there is a 4G file size limit when copying from a Mac to a FAT32 drive.
But I'm encountering a 4G total capacity limit. In other words, if I copy small, individual files, not even all at once, but over a period of time, to, say, a 32G flash drive, the copy process hangs and freezes as soon as I hit the 4G mark. As if I don't have 28 perfectly good, empty gig left to go.
When I bought the iMac, in late 2006, it was running Tiger and this was not a problem. The problem began when I upgraded to Leopard. And it has persisted through a recent upgrade to Snow Leopard. (Yes, I know how behind I am, but I need to hold onto Rosetta for a while. Everything else is working without a hitch.)
I tried reformattiong the drives as FAT32 freshly, via Disk Utility -- that hasn't worked either.
I've spoken to several phone techs and Apple store Geniuses; not only haven't they been able to help me, none of them has even heard of this occurring before.
At a guess, I'd say that there's some hidden protocol preventing my iMac from recognizing that there's anything more than 4G on a FAT 32 drive -- and that if I can find it, I can de-activate it. But I'm utterly without a clue as to how it got triggered (well, save that a system upgrade was the clear catalyst) or where it resides. (I suppose there may be another cause, but nothing else makes sense to me.)
I'm having no problem whatsoever with Mac formatted flash or auxiliary drives. Only FAT32.
Can anyone Out There help me solve this?

Sorry to take so long replying.
Yes, tried it and it doesn't work. (Actually, simply reformatting the drive creates a single partition by default, as displayed by the progress "narrative" in Disk Utility.)
As I say, I don't believe this has ANYTHING to do with drives or how they're formatted. I'm pretty convinced there is some hidden operational protocol ENDEMIC TO THE COMPUTER that got triggered somhow. Something that's not part of the "civilian" settings or that you can dope out by poring through the System Preference options (I'm really good at that kind of troubleshooting and I've tried). That's the only explanation that seems to explain the idiosyncrasy and its consistency.
I wonder if the answer may be some kind of override or cancel command line you might enter into Terminal.
Anybody have a notion about something like that?

  • Not Enough Free Space - Over Capacity Problem

I have migrated to a new Windows 7 machine from an XP  (which has version iTunes version 11.0.2.26)  and installed on my new machine version 11.3.1.2.
They are linked using Homegroup via an Ethernet cable. When I installed iTunes on the new machine all went well and all my music etc was there as soon as it fired up.
However when I go to sync with my 32GB iTouch in my new machine  it is saying it wants an extra 14.2 gig of space and cannot complete the operation (the capacity bar at the bottom says it is Over Capacity by 16.6GB).
Yet plugging it back into my old machine I have 8.6 gig free and it sync fine.
I have checked in Explorer in the iTunes folders, in both machines and my entire music and audiobook folders only amount to 21.5GB, not all of which are ticked to sync (both iTunes have the same sync settings).
In my old machine  iTunes  totals the music library as  16.28GB/1526 songs but my new machine is saying  35.05GB/2531 songs, I can’t understand what is happening.
I have tried switching off the  Homegroup sharing music and videos etc thinking it  could be incudinf both machines,  but still to no avail.
Anyone any ideas as to want the problem might be?

Try troubleshooting iTunes on your new computer, there are instructions on the apple website or on google. Another potential fix:
    Try this:
    1. Sync to your Windows XP desktop so you do not lose anything.
    2. Turn on Sharing.
    3. Import your iTunes data from the Windows XP to your Windows 8.1 through Sharing.
    4. Connect iPod to Windows 8.1 laptop, erase and re-sync.
    5. You lose nothing. It copies all of your data over correctly.
    6. Shazzam.

  • Capacity Problem On iTunes.

When I connect my iPad (3rd Generation) to iTunes on our iMac the Capacity bar says that I have 7.8GB of photos and I only have about 200 photos. Now it won't let me download apps or take photos because it says there is not enough space. Please help!

First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Sync with your computer again and deselect the option to sync photos. Did the amounts change?

  • Group mail with attachments capacity problems

I send out e mails regularly to roughly 200 people.  This has become laborious as I have to divide them into 6 groups otherwise they will not send.  Even then I cannot add attachments as again they will not send.  Looks like I will end up with 12 groups to overcome this problem.  I will then end up copying and pasting content, rewriting subject which is v time consuming.  Is there any solution to this problem?

When you are trying to send over your wireless carrier is it 3G?

  • Photo capacity problems

I've recently bought a classic 120 gb and am having problems copying a large collection of photos to it.
The photos total 19gb so with 64gb of free space on the ipod I thought I wouldn't have a problem.
The copying failed due to insufficient space. itunes reported 32gb of photos plus 30gb of "other" files which turned out to be in a folder marked "thumbs".
So 19 gb of files needed over 63 gb of space. Is there a work-round for this, say a way to prevent that thumbs folder being populated?

    Problem fixed.
Apparently when I installed leopard, and did a clean install when I subsequently installed the ilife software from my original tiger disks, this caused some issues regarding core components being scrambled in Leopard.
Apple suggested a reinstallation of leopard, (retaining existing data and user accounts etc).
Once this was done, everyting worked perfectly.
Im very impressed with the ability to install the operating system in various ways, either retaining account information, upgrade, or clean install.
Something Microsoft could learn a leason with.

  • Capacity Problem

    Dear Folks,
We are having Five Glass Line Reactors ,say GLR1,GLR2,GLR3,GLR4,GLR5.Which i have created as seperate Resources.
I may Manufacture my FG on any of these Resources. Each Resource has Capacity 22.8 hrs /Day.My Weekly Capacity  is 159.6hrs.
I have assigned GLR1 in my Master Recipe Operation. In  CM01 transaction,I can see available Capacity of GLR1 as 159.6 hrs per week. But Total Available Capacity to manufacture is 159.6*5=798 hrs.Where can i see this capacity?
In each Resource no of individual Capacities = 1,as Client want the available Capacity as 159.6 hrs/week at each resource.

    Hi,
Can you re-check the Hierarchy in CR23??? A mistake in Hierarchy creation can be the reason for not displaying  the required output.

  • Capacity problem under category of "Other"

Summary page shows capacity full with category of "other" occupying 2/3 of space; yet there is nothing downloaded on IPOD other than around 350 songs-anyway to clean this up with using "restore"?

If the iPod is enabled for disk use, you can look at the folders on the iPod through Explorer or Finder and delete anything you don't want.
Otherwise, it's a restore which will erase the iPods contents and reclaim the used space.
