SPRO Node Links

Hi everyone!
Good day!
I'm Jason.  I badly need your help.  I need to finish a program customizing standard transaction SPRO.  I need to know how the node links work.  For example the Parent-Child relationship, etc.  That is, how the nodes in the SPRO ALV tree are related to each other.  What specific tables should i link?  are there function modules to be used?
I really need your help....  Please help me on this.... =(
Thanks in advance.  God bless! =)
Respectfully yours,
Jason

Hi,
Check the table TTREE (TTREE*) or you can do this  Parent-Child relationship through your own table . create a table like below and read data from this table to display tree data.
P1 C1
P1 C2
P1 C3
P2 C4
P2 C1......

    Dear,
    Please let me know the following:
    1.spro node to be corrected
    What type of corrections you want to make, for accessing SPRO node you can go SAP Menu>Tools>Customizing--
    >IMG-->Execute project (SPRO) this will open SPRO node
    2. img node for zfcot
    What is ZFCOT, do you want to create new project in IMG? If yes then
    SAP Menu>Tools>Customizing>IMG>Project Administration, this will open a screen where you can create new project.

  • Server Side Links (Node Link): caught exception

    HI ,
    Following error is showing up in System Audit Trace Logs:
    Server Side Links (Node Link): caught exception
    I am not able to figure is out why this error is coming.
    Can any please explain the reason of this error..
    thanks

    Hi
    Thanks for the link, it is indeed a good example. However, whilst it has some interesting points, it seems to narrowly skirt around the issue i am having (as do most examples in fact).
    Perhaps i should have been more clear that the problem i am having relates specifically to entities that have already been persisted, and all i am trying to do is edit them. In the example you sent, if bean-validation fails then the entity is not persisted, so no problems. However, when editing an already persisted entity, form submissions trigger an automatic database update via the EntityManager (provided JSF validations are passed), so my real problem is avoiding this.
    Any input appreciated.

  • Tcode for SPRO node

    HI,
    How to find out the transaction code for a SPRO node, Kindly help its Urgent.
    Suitable answers will be Rewarded
    Thanks and Regards,
    Kasi S

    Hello Kasi
    If you call transaction SPRO and choose menu Additional Information -> Additional Information -> Display Key -> IMG Activity you see the IMG activity for a SPRO node.
    Example:
    Create Accrural Cost Elements (SIMG_CFMENUORK2KA01)
    The IMG activities are stored in table CUS_IMGACH. If you select this table with your IMG activity (e.g. SIMG_CFMENUORK2KA01) you will get the corresponding transaction: S_ALR_87004308

  • Tree Node Links

    Hello,
    I am trying to configure a Tree in APEX 4.1 and I'm not sure if what I am trying to do is possible. Here is the situation: I work for a university that has the following colleges:
    College of Arts & Communication
    College of Business Administration
    College of Education
    College of Liberal Arts
    College of Professional Studies
    College of Sciences
    Each of the above listed colleges have multiple majors that are unique to that college.
    So my tree uses the college name for the parent node and each of the majors for that college as the child nodes. Each Major has a major code assigned to it, so when a user clicks on a major, a page loads with information about the students in that major. Colleges, however, do not have a major code and so if the user clicks on the college name in the tree, the page loads but has no data. So, what I would like is that if a user clicks on a mjor, the pages loads like currently set up, but if the user clicks on a college name, a different page loads with information about that college.
    So the question is: Is it possible to have one page load, say Page 21, when a major (child node) is selected, and another page, Page 22, when a college (parent node) is selected?
    Thanks,
    Bob

    Yes, that is very much possible to call different urls/pages from different tree nodes. You need to format your query to use independent select statements (for each node) and finally use UNION to form the tree.
    For example, you can do something like this:
    SELECT CASE WHEN connect_by_isleaf = 1 THEN 0
                WHEN level = 1             THEN 1
                ELSE                           -1
           END as status
    ,      level
    ,      name as title
    ,      icon
    ,      id as value
    ,      tip as tooltip
    ,      url as link
    ,      seq as display
    from
    -- select statement for the parent node
    UNION
    -- select statement for the first/immediate child node
    UNION
    -- select statement for the level 2 child
    start with parent is null
    connect by NOCYCLE prior id = parent
    order siblings by displayIn each select statement, you can specify the required link/url.
    I hope this helps.

  • Programmatically Change a Property Node Link to Object

    Is there a way to programmatically change a "link" to an object in a property node?  I'm trying to create a user configurable front panel for a project that I'm working on, in which the user can change the caption for numerous controls and indicators.  I would like to set-up a for loop that will take information contained in a string array and change each caption accordingly, instead of having 100 different property nodes on the block diagram.  If you need anymore details, let me know and maybe I can attach a picture to the response.

    There's various ways you can do this as far as exact implementation. You will need to use something to identify which control you're dealing with. Attached is one way that uses the control's label as a lookup. You could, for example, use a default caption instead to make it more apparent to the user which control they're specifying to change.

  • Programatically creating ADF Tree with nodes,child nodes & links?

    Hi,
    Currently I am using Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.3.PS2_GENERIC_100408.2356.5660. Please provide me detailed code for programatically creating ADF Tree with nodes, child nodes and links in it.
    Thanks,
    Vik

    You need to create a model for the tree. ADF has a build in model that you can use to build your own tree.
    This is what you need to write in your JSPX:
    <af:tree summary="Navigation" id="treeNav" value="#{pageFlowScope.treeNavigationBackingBean.model}"
               var="node" contextMenuSelect="true" rowSelection="single" fetchSize="30">
           <f:facet name="nodeStamp">
          <af:outputText id="txtText" value="#{node.text}"/>
        </f:facet>
    </af:tree>This is the code to retreive the model:
      public TreeModel getModel() {
        if(model == null)
            model = new ChildPropertyTreeModel(instance,"children");
        return model;
      }instance contains the actual tree. I build it in the constructor of my managed bean:
        public BeanTreeNavigation() {
          ArrayList<TreeItem> rootItems = new ArrayList<TreeItem>();
          TreeItem node1 = new TreeItem("Root node");
             ArrayList<TreeItem> level1 = new ArrayList<TreeItem>();
             TreeItem level1Node1 = new TreeItem("Level1 Node1");
              level1.add(level1Node1);
           node1.setChildren(level1);
           rootItems.setChildren(node1);
          this.setListInstance(rootItems);
          root = rootItems;
      public void setListInstance(List instance) {
        this.instance = instance;
        model = null;
      }The TreeItem class is not a default one. I created it myself. You can make of it whatever you want:
        public class TreeItem {
          private String text;
           private List<TreeItem> children = null;
           public TreeItem(String text){
            this.text = text;
            public void setText(String text) {
                this.text = text;
            public String getText() {
                return text;
            public void setChildren(List<TreeItem> children) {
                this.children = children;
            public List<TreeItem> getChildren() {
                return children;
            }I wrote the TreeItem as an inner class of the managed bean.
    The most important part is the getModel methode. There you need to specify an Object and the name of the getter that will return a List of the children.
    Hope this helps.

  • Hiding Page 0 Items and Tree Node Links

    I have two issues I'm trying to work out:
    1) I have created a tree on page 0 that I want to appear on all of my REPORT pages, so the user can filter the reports regardless of which page they're on. The problem is that the tree is also appearing on the login page and the Home page. Is there any way to hide the tree on the login and home pages but have it appear on all other pages? I'm trying to avoid having to create the tree on every single report page.
    2) I need the tree to work like this: the user clicks any node in the tree, and all reports (on multiple pages) are filtered based on the node selected. So I don't actually want the nodes to be links to a report, I just want the reports to be filtered based on the node value selected. Then I'll have tabs to navigate between the different reports. Is this possible?
    Thanks.

    I dunno if you correct it, but there was small mistake in the JS code - a closing bracket was missing
    $s('P0_TREE_NODE', $(this.triggeringElement).parents('li:first').attr('id'));
    it looks like the node value IS being stored in the session stateI hope you checked for items in page 0 (it should then list down page 0 items including P0_TREE_NODE) when you searched for session state(it defaults to whichever page is run currently)
    If these two are working fine, it has to be some page process/computation/item source/item default that modifies the item value when you move between pages.
    To find this: Turn debug on, reload the page , click on a tree node, then redirect to some other page and then check the debug report and see if the page 0 item: P0_TREE_NODE is being set/reset/modified elsewhere.

  • Tree Navigation does not remain expanded after sub node link click

    Hi
    I Have collapsible tree navigation in spaces application
    Level1Link1
      |-------page1
      |--------page2
    Level1Link2
    |-------page3
    When user click on page1 tree collapse
    Level1Link1
    Level1Link2
    Want to know any one use collapsible tree in spaces and have same issue?
    Looks like it is bug.
    Regards,
    Jigar

    Hi.
    I never used tree as navigation but I guess next:
    Using goLink to navigate the pages then ADF Lifecycle is executed again and the ADF tree is initialize again to the default status.
    You should think how to maintain the current status of the ADF Tree (One size doesn't fit all: Follow up: Programmatic ADF Faces Tree holding state across requests).
    I hope this help you.

  • Refresh chart graph by clicking a specific node in HGrid or a link

    Hello,
    I've a page that includes HGridRN & GraphRN. I would like to relate between both.. so that when a user selects a specific node/link beside it, the chart will refresh based upon this specific node organization_id for example.
    How could this be done.. By a View Link between both HGrid & Graph? will it refresh automatically if so? Will it work for each node with respect to drillldown? Do I have to use PPR? If so how can I pass a parameter for organization_id to the graph's View Object or should the View Link do this by itself?
    Thank you in advance.
    BR,

    Jaap,
    Can you describe your exact use case in a bit more detail?
    Do you wish to link to a specific page or generate links to all pages (iterating through the pages) in the space? If it is the former, how do you identify the specific page? If it is the latter, consider creating a custom navigation model that contains only a pages query and iterate over this.

  • Linked List - nodes

    Hi,
    In a lecture a couple of weeks ago, we began the topic of reference-based lists. I copied the attached
    code off the board. I'm now trying to utilize the code by creating a public class Node. However, the constructors don't seem to make much sense. I was too busy writing down the information to pay much attention at the time. My book doesn't seem to address this...
    1) in the first constructor: item = null; I'm declaring item initially as an integer, but the constructor is trying to attach a null to item. I think the intent is to create a node that initially has both info and link as nulls.
    2) in the third constructor: link = Node; Is this possible? I'm not what this will do.
    And finally, the second and third constructors are using the same name and parameter, so there is a conflict. I don't know how to resolve this.
    Thanks in advance for any help...

    Thanks Sebastian for your input.
    yes. my lan2 is used for Cluster_interconnect which is having subnet 255.255.255.240.
    Below are IPs used for RAC
    Public
    Node1: 10.10.1.173/255.255.240.0
    Node2: 10.10.1.174/255.255.240.0
    Private
    Node1: 10.10.16.50/255.255.255.240
    Node2: 10.10.16.51/255.255.255.240
    Virtual
    Node1: 10.10.1.191/255.255.240.0
    Node2: 10.10.1.192/255.255.240.0
    SCAN (Defined in DNS)
    10.10.1.193/255.255.240.0
    10.10.1.194/255.255.240.0
    10.10.1.195/255.255.240.0
    As you said, I will scrap GI Software again & will try with 255.255.255.0.
    I Believe this Redundant Interconnect and ora.cluster_interconnect.haip present in 11.2.0.2.0 Version.
    Oracle says:
    Redundant Interconnect without any 3rd-party IP failover technology (bond, IPMP or similar) is supported natively by Grid Infrastructure starting from 11.2.0.2. Multiple private network adapters can be defined either during the installation phase or afterward using the oifcfg. Oracle Database, CSS, OCR, CRS, CTSS, and EVM components in 11.2.0.2 employ it automatically.
    Grid Infrastructure can activate a maximum of four private network adapters at a time even if more are defined. The ora.cluster_interconnect.haip resource will start one to four link local HAIP on private network adapters for interconnect communication for Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, and Oracle ACFS etc.
    Grid automatically picks link local addresses from reserved 169.254.*.* subnet for HAIP, and it will not attempt to use any 169.254.*.* address if it's already in use for another purpose. With HAIP, by default, interconnect traffic will be load balanced across all active interconnect interfaces, and corresponding HAIP address will be failed over transparently to other adapters if one fails or becomes non-communicative. .
    The number of HAIP addresses is decided by how many private network adapters are active when Grid comes up on the first node in the cluster . If there's only one active private network, Grid will create one; if two, Grid will create two; and if more than two, Grid will create four HAIPs. The number of HAIPs won't change even if more private network adapters are activated later, a restart of clusterware on all nodes is required for new adapters to become effective.
    In my Setup, I am having Teaming for NIC's for Public & Private Interface. So I am thinking to break teaming of NICs because HAIP internally searching for next available NIC & not getting as all 4 are already in used with OS level NIC teaming.
    My only Concern is, as I am going to change subnet for the Private IPs, should I change Private IP address ????
    Thanks for the Support...

  • How to create a report based on the selection of a node of a tree

    Hello,
    I am new to Oracle Apex and I was trying to build a tree and also an interactive report based on the empno column of the emp table.
    I have created a tree based on emp table. Now I want to display records of the employee selected in the tree.
    Here is the tree query:
    select case when connect_by_isleaf = 1 then 0
    when level = 1 then 1
    else -1
    end as status,
    level,
    "ENAME" as title,
    null as icon,
    "EMPNO" as value,
    null as tooltip,
    null as link
    from "#OWNER#"."EMP"
    start with "MGR" is null
    connect by prior "EMPNO" = "MGR"
    order siblings by "ENAME"
    Can anyone tell me step by step how to go from here?
    I tried to follow the thread Re: tree question but could not understand much from it.

    The approach for reloading the page and displaying the report is quite simple.
    <li>You start by creating a new page item which would be used to store the selected node ID , eg. P100_SELECTED_NODE (you can make it atext item and change it hidden once everything works as expected)
    <li>Modify the tree query and change the link column in the tree definition SQL query to a link to the same
    for example if your page is 100 , you would make the tree node link to the same page but set the P100SELECTED_NODE with selected node's id_
    This done here
    {message:id=4410987}
    In this case it would be
    'f?p=&APP_ID.:100:'||:APP_SESSION||'::::P100_SELECTED_NODE:'||EMPNO as link Now when you click on a tree node link , it would come back to the same page, but set the P100_SELECTED_NODE with the empno of the clicked node.
    <li> All that is left to do, is changing your Report so that it refers to the new item inorder to filter the records for this employee i.e empno
    SELECT ...
    WHERE empno= :P100_SELECTED_NODE
