Spry Tabs Panel and Paypal

Is there a way to integrate paypal with Dreamweaver Spry Tab Panels?  I have a site and have used the add to cart code outside of the spry tabs and it works fine as in adds my product to the paypal shopping cart.  When I put the same code into the spry tables, it simply sends me to the paypal homepage and not to the shopping cart.  I need help!!  Any advice would be truly appreciated.

Thank you

Most likely caused by malformed code.  Use the W3C validation tool to check your HTML code for errors.

You have unclosed <tr> tags in your tables.

  • Spry tabbed panels and "The tag: "li" doesn't have an attribute: "tabindex" ..."

    Hi,
    I've been using the DW CS4 "Spry Tabbed Panels" on a few pages. When I validate the website (with DW tool for that), I get the following messages for each use of the tabbed panels: The tag: "li" doesn't have an attribute: "tabindex" in currently active versions. [XHTML 1.0 Transitional].
    Should I worry about this? I'd like to have a code as clean and XHTML valid as possible. Is there a way to fix this so the message doesn't come up anymore?

    If validation is important to you, you need to remove tabindex. Should you worry about it? Not really. Sometimes it makes sense to ignore validation to achieve a particular goal, which is why Spry widgets use tabindex in a technically invalid way.
    The explanation as to why Spry does that can be found here: http://blogs.adobe.com/spryteam/2007/03/spry_widgets_and_tab_index.html.

  • Problem with Spry Tabbed Panels and Mac Safari

    On a site I'm working on I have implemented Spry Tabbed
    Panels. Everything was great until my boss looked at it on his Mac
    Safari. Spry doesn't seem to honor the 100% width, and cuts it off.
    I have looked at the CSS and don't see what is holding it up.
    Here is
    a link to a screenshot.
    The CSS that defines the width is attached.
    Can anyone help? Thanks!

    Wow, so I am the only one that has ever used Spry that
    doesn't work in Safari? I find that hard to believe.
    So let me twist this another way. Does anyone know why a div
    does not stretch 100% of it's parent in Safari?

  • Spry Tabbed Panels and Master/ Detail Page Set interraction

    Hi,
    I have created a feedback form and am using a Spry Tabbed Panel to allow users to review all responses to one question and then all responses to the next question in different tabs, there are 6 tabs in all. In each tab I have created a Master/ Detail Page set - well actually just the Master appears in the tab. This is working fine. I allow up to 20 responses to be shown on each tab, after which the user selects First/Previous/Next/Last. When they do this the screen refreshes and the tabbed panel display goes back to the default tab, clicking on the tab previously used correctly displays whichever of First/Previous/Next/Last the user selected. I'd like the display to remain on the user's current tab when they select First/Previous/Next/Last.
    The page in question is here http://www.hollisterairshow.com/feedback-results2.php, then scroll about half way down the page and select one of the tabs.

    Hi Tony,
    Look at the following, blue coded is comment only, red coded is what has to be added to your existing code and orange coded is added by the SpryDataSet creator if done properly. Where the orange part starts, thats where you place your cursor when creating the dataset.

  • Contact form with Spry 'Tabbed Panels' and 'Validation TextField'

    Hello
    I am considering making a form using Spry tabbed panels (as step 1, step 2, etc.) and the form validation to process name, email, address, credit-card, accept terms and conditions, etc.
    This is instead of a multi-page form, because there could be security flaws there (i.e. passing sensitive information from one page to the next) and it would take longer for the user - needing to open each page, etc. where this is to be used as a buy form (for a single product), sort of like one-click order (but not exactly).
    Overall, it seems like a good idea, someone else has tried it, but I do have some questions that haven't been covered there - relevant for anyone that'd ever want to do this with Spry - that didn't come up there:
    1. Will it degrade gracefully, and still work? For example, when you turn JavaScript, CSS, images, and other things off?
    2. Is it possible to go from Step-to-Step (using the top tabs, or 'Submit' and 'Back' buttons added on the bottom) without entering all of the required information? Because I would like to disable this - perhaps also have the future Steps grayed out and un-clickable.
    3. Is it safe to use this form to enter credit card details, and then email those to the website's account? I am new to SSL, so I'm not sure if I could implement some security feature here? Where should I look?
    4. Does it load the page fast, despite having multiple steps all pre-loaded? Can we make subsequent steps require some 'loading' (without refreshing the page)?
    5. If it doesn't do either of these, how could we make it do that?
    I hope to hear from you!

  • Spry Tabbed Panels and Pop Up Link from Image Hotspot

    I've created an image map with Hotspot links to either send to another web page or to open a previously created Pop Up window with information.
    I've imported my image, image map and Hotspots into a tab
    The issue I'm having is when clicking on the hotspot (within the Spry tabbed panel), to open the pop up page; it doesn't work
    If I select a Hotspot which sends users to another web page, that works ok.
    Would appreciate it if someone else who has run into this and what your recommendation is for a fix.
    thanks, R Silva

  • Spry tabbed panel and scroll bar cross browser

    Hi everybody, I would like to insert into a
    site a
    scroolbar like this
    example1
    or also like this
    example2
    but I have a problem:
    The scrollabar works in the default tab, in the other tabs
    it's impossible to view the tab's content.
    I have found a similar problem looking around
    here
    but this solution did'nt work, probably because the example
    is for a php site, my site instead is developed in ASP.
    Does someone has a solution?I woul like to avoid to display
    the default scrollbar using the property overflow:auto, because in
    firefox the color attribute doesn't works and the graphic aspect is
    very important.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi cammellonellacruna,
    Can you provide a link where the problem can be seen?
    I've tried with IE 6,7 and Firefox 2 and couldn't see the
    problem.
    Also, try to put more content in the other tabs, to make the
    scrollbars show up.

  • Is it possible to let Spry Tab Panels play and loop automatically?

    Hello everyone,
    I have created several Spry tab panels and they appeared to
    be working perfectly as I need them to.
    However, I was wondering if there is a way to have the tab
    panels play automatically and loop like a slide show on page load.
    So when a user vists the page, the panels will play or
    transition like a slide show.
    Is this at all possible?
    Thanks everyone - Patrick

    A few missing pieces here...
    1. Are you using Kerio on your machine, or that is what your hosting provider is running? (I will assume the former).
    2. Does your hosting provider accept mail to AnyUser@yourdomain, or only to legitimat users at your site? If the former, it is no wonder you are getting hammered by spam. You will take anything. Your provider might be able to filter against an RBL list, but that probably only takes out about 70% of the spam on a good day.
    Anti-spam filtering takes place on the SMTP side of the server. Once the mail is delivered to your SP, you've got the mail and have to deal with it on the client side. Ugly at best. Fetchmail will not help you here.
    OS X mail does have a pretty good selection of anti-spam tools. Most notably, SpamAssassin and greylisting. But both (greylisting in particular) require your mail server be the only mail server for your domain for best results.
    Mail does not require particularly high availability. If your mail server is missing for a while, the sending site will try again later. Mail is very resilient to temporary failures. You could set up your SP as a backup MX host if you want, but I would submit that would increase your spam load when your server is down or missing (mail relay from a secondary host, short circuits the greylisting feature).
    I do not know Kerio myself, but for mail alone, the built in mail services in OS X (current version) are pretty good. But you are shooting yourself in the foot by having your SP collecting mail for you, especially if they will accept any user.

  • Spry tabbed panels - Different Hover Class for each tab

    Already posted this in the general Dreamweaver section, but just realized there was a specific Spry section. So, my apologies for the repost.
    I'm setting up spry tabbed panels, and I'm wanting to use an image for each tab, with the text already on it. I've figured this much out by creating a different class for each in the spry tabbed panel css.
    However, I'd also like to have a second hover image for each tab. I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up separate classes for each tab's hover state.
    Any help?
    Thanks.

  • Spry tabbed panels display

    I have Spry Tabbed panels and all my content is suddenly displaying in the first, default tab.  Also, the turquoise "Spry Tabbed Panels" is missing from the top of my widget. This has happened on three different pages so far, and all I have found is that I must insert a new tabbed panel.  My <div> codes all match up, so I'm stumped.  Any help would be really appreciated.

  • Spry Tabbed Panels acting up!

    I am using Dreamweaver CS6
    I am using Spry Tabbed Panels and would like to add two tabs.  From the properties page, I use Panels + to add the second tab.
    I name the tab, then I go to split view to see what I did.  I notice there is a content 2 that appears, but when I go back to see
    the properties page, under panels, I see the first tab showing the name it should be, the second tab says the following: <missing content panel>
    If I go to split view and look at the code, I see this:
    <div id="apDiv9">
                <div id="TabbedPanels2" class="TabbedPanels">
                  <ul class="TabbedPanelsTabGroup">
                    <li class="TabbedPanelsTab" tabindex="0">PayStation</li>
                    <li class="TabbedPanelsTab" tabindex="0">IP Settings</li>
    </ul>
                  <div class="TabbedPanelsContentGroup">
                    <div class="TabbedPanelsContent"> <br/>
                      <br/>
    PayStation is the first tab
    IP Settings is the second tab
    I don't understand why it is saying missing content panel???
    Thank you,
    Neil

    Don't use Absolute positioning in primary layouts.  It's completely unnecessary for this and will actually do more harm than good.
    Use this in your CSS:
    body {
    width: 1000px;  /**adjust page width as desired**/
    margin: 0 auto;
    font-size: 62.50%;
    font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
    table {
    border: 1px solid #000;
    width: 30%;
    float:left;
    margin-right:3%;
    font-size: 12px;
    table caption {font-size: 24px}
    ==============
    HTML:
    <table><caption>SALES</caption>
    <tr>
    <td>something here </td>
    <td>something here </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <table><caption>EQUIP. STATUS</caption>
    <tr>
    <td>something here </td>
    <td>something here </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <table><caption>TIME/DATE</caption>
    <tr>
    <td>something here </td>
    <td>something here </td>
    </tr>
    </table>

  • Simple (?) question about Spry tabbed panel

    Hi, I'm a bit of a noob at DW and am wondering if there's any way to open a link from within a Spry tabbed panel, and have the content load in the same panel.
    I would have thought this would be simple, or even default behavior, but every target I try opens a new browser window or just loads it over everything in the current window.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Spry Tabbed Panels - not correct in IE but correct in Chrome and MF

    Hi,
    I'm having problems with an extension I used for a client, so I want to use the Spry tabbed panels form dreamweaver, but they in IE8 it puts all the content under each other in the first tab ??
    In Chrome and MF its correct. Do you know about this problem or is it because I did something wrong?
    see: www.zorgfilosofie.nl/index2
    The other pages where made with an extension but with that script my client can't edit with contribute. That's why I want to implement Dreamweaver Spry Tabbed Panels.
    Thanks for answering!
    Carla

    Hello there from down under J
    Het was mooi weer, maar vandaag regent het.
    Toch zijn hier in deze kamer veel zonnestralen, want het probleem is opgelost!
    I searched the whole evening for alternative but it did’t work with templates.
    With the js files the problem is solved.
    I don’t understand why the js file was not correct, because I just bought CS5.5
    Where do I have to put de file so the problem will not happen again when I make another site?
    Thanks a lot!
    Best regards and take some sun with you!
