SQL Loader Problem : how to skip column using sql ldr
Hi,
My problme is like this.
In the data file i am getting some data and storing it in flat file format with ` as delimiter.
For example:
t1col1`t1col2`t1col3`t2col1`t2col2`t2col3`t2col4
There are two tables here i.e t1 having 3 columns and t2 having 4 column values.
But in the database i m having only 3 columns for t2 which corresponds to data of t2col3. Now in my control file can i use filler to skip this value in the datafile with the columnName mentioned.
So my basic question is can i get rid of some column value which is there in the datafile and its position is not known when it will come but its name is known and its name is not present in the actual database. Can it be done using keyword "filler".
Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

How to skip words using keyboard shortcuts
Using Ctrl+Rt arrow usually skips words when typing in a free text box but FF uses that keyboard command to move through the open tabs. Is this customizable?

Every time Firefox opened
== typing in a text fieldon the Keyboard Shortcuts page, under the Windows & Tabs section, it says that CTRL + LEFT ARROW (or RIGHT ARROW) will navigate between tabs. this means that when you are in a text box (e.g. typing an email in a web based email provider like gmail, or in the box i am typing this reply in right now) when you press CTRL + L/R ARROW it changes tabs instead of skipping words. so basically firefox is overriding ability to skip words using CTRL + L/R ARROW. this is rather annoying when typing emails using firefox. i have resorted to typing my emails in a word processor, then pasting into gmail.
is there a way to disable the CTRL + L/R ARROW shortcut in firefox? it seems redundant to even have that shortcut because CTRL + PGUP/PGDN already does this.
i did find [http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=211030 this page] on the ubuntu forums with a user experiencing the same issue. one user suggested the following (quoted below), but it didnt work for me because the setting was already set to true.

I have one View in which I am calling Function,
Below is the part of that Function. I am passing @Column_Name as parameter. I have total 3 Columns which I am using in my view form this function.
Now I have one issue in this SQL Query, instead of taking values from 'Alle' (or 'MeAlle', 'CurrentMe')column, my select statement is taking 'Alle' as value. I tried with Dynamic SQL but didn't work out for me.

Anyway, assuming you need to work with such design, you need to create fnSplit function in your database first. You can get any kind of implementation for such function, say, there is a blog by Jeff Moden that still has lots of discussion (I subscribed to
that discussion and get emails - too bad they only say there is a new reply instead of giving the reply):

So, once you have that splitting function in your database you can normalize your table using the following:
select T.*, F.Value, F.Id from myTable T CROSS APPLY dbo.fnSplit(T.Alle, ',') F
If you need to split several columns, then it will be a bit more complex as you would need to split each individual column separately using the above code and cte and then use the FULL JOIN based on main table PK and function's ID column to join the results.

If a ODS have key fields
1. Customer
2..Material
3. Distributor
4. Speciality
data fields
1. amount
2. cost.
IF the flat file has all the required fields above.
As per the requirement u need only customer, material and cost in ur ODS.
First Define All a ODS with all the fields above i mentioned and create transfer rules for all the above fields as per the flat file.
Now create a ODS( copy from the above ODS) and delete the required fields which are not necessary. Now create infopackage and schedule it below the same infosource to load data into the second ODS. Now it works

I tried with Access key first but its behaving differently in different browser.
Crome: allowing action on access key press.
IE : setting the focus on commandLink.

*Now problem is that when i invoked second action its asking me enter data for required fields.*
If i was invoking serverlistener from button than I can control immediate property of command button. but here serverListener is getting called form document. How can I avoid validation here.

Loading source tables without common columns using owb

I have 5 tables say a,b,c,d,e who has no columns between any of these tables .but i need to poulate some of the columns in each table as per my requirement and
i need to load into my target table which needs the above tables source columns data .
how can we achieve this as we dont have any columns across 5 tables.

ALV problem - how to suppress column
I have one ALV report which is shoeing output.
However so many columns are with purely spaces (I mean no value exists in that column).
My requirement is to suppress the columns when ever that columns doesn't have values in them.
Could you please suggest me how ? The program is using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

I've set up a couple methods to allow users to edit specific text fields and then save.
I'm trying to get a Double value from a text box using:
Retail.price.set(f, Double.parseDouble(price.getText()));However, to make my UI look good, I've inserted a "$" into the text box. I can redo the code to repopulate the fields leaving the "$" out when the modify button is pressed, but I was wondering if there is a way to just ignore the $ when getting my Double.

I am a newbie of sql loader. Everything seems to be fine until I hit a
road block - the CLOB column type. I want to load data into the clob
column using a stored function. I need to do some manipulation on the
data before it gets saved to that column. But I got this error when I
run the sql loader.

The above code executes well with no problem at all!
As you can see the file to which i create and save and open my pdf report is
AssignedDialyzer.pdf.
The column headers of table in pdf report from c# windows forms using iTextSharp are
"Reprocessing Date","Patient Name","Dialyzer(Manufacturer,Size)","No.of Reuse","Verification" and
"DialyzerID".
However the problem i am facing is after execution and opening of document is my
column headers in table in pdf report from
c# and datas in it all appear in bold.
I have browsed through net regarding to solve this problem but with no success.
What i want is my pdf report from c# should be similar to following format which i was able to accomplish in vb6,adodb with MS access using iTextSharp.:

How to get only updated records for a column using loading type INSERT

I have source1 containg 3 columns bill_cd,bill_desc,bill_date and
source2 has the columns bill_cd,bill_key,source_id.
My target has the columns bill_cd,bill_date,bill_desc .
Now the requirement is, bill_cd in target should not repeated when we run the mapping more than one thime. it should get only updated records not the previous records using only INSERT Loading type(for target) not to use update/insert.
How can we achieve this logic in mapping level.
Anybody Please give me some solution immediately.

Here bill_cd is not unique. Yes,I want only new records using INSERT as loading type. Suppose when the map runs for the first time, bill_cd is loaded with values 1 to 5.
Now, in the source I have got new records 6 to 10 for bill_cd and when I run the mapping again I need to get only records for bill_cd from 6 to 10 using INSERT as loading type.
Is it possible to achieve this at mapping level?

My page is loaded into a palcehold within the Ajax update panel within the current Masterpage, so page loadload doesn't occur. But if my Muse page can capture the partial pageload then I can tell jquery to run the Muse formating routine.Jackie, I am having the same issue and agree that it obscures our site analytics.
I only have the "WebMarketing" subscription - so I cannot see how often people visit my site (unless I just dont know how to view that). Here is a screen shot of how many different locations I have and how much it affects my site visitor count based on the other locations which seem "legit" because they have more page views than visits.
I hope there is a way to fix or block this. -
