in MM exist an funtionallity named Associated Cost, that functionallity awolls into one PO make distribution the some suppliers into the same Purchase Order in tab named conditions is possible charge some suppliers,
the question is in Srm is possible make that process?

Cost associated with BBM from Aruba to US?

I have the Torch and my carrier is AT&T. I am planning on traveling to Aruba and want to know if I need to get international coverage on my phone to BBM back to the US during my trip and will it cost anything additional to BBM or does it depend on my coverage with AT&T.

If you will be using your ATT plan while in Aruba, you will be roaming, and you need to ask ATT about their international data roaming. Tell them you will be in Aruba in the Caribbean.
But otherwise, BBM is data, and data is whatever ATT charges you while traveling and roaming.

Is SAP Jam free for SAP customers or are there costs associated with it?

Hiya,
We run SAP ERP EHP 6 on Netweaver 7.31.
I've only just come across SAP Jam and Streamworks and they looks really neat. I like the way SAP Jam can be integrated into NWBC side panels...
Something that I'd like to demo to the business.
I think to activate SAP Jam I need to goto SFW5 and activate BC_SRV_STW_03.
I'm just wondering, are there any additional licensing considerations I need to consider or is it delivered 'free' to all customers?

So basically SAP JAM is seperate to ERP, it is a cloud product that we need to implement.
SAP Jam is not free and requires additional licensing/costs.
Once implemented we need to connect to it, so we need to activate BC_SRV_STW_03.
Is that correct?

HT4914 Costs associated with iCloud

I understand that I may purchase additional clod space if the 5 GB is not enough. I also understand that there is a subscription fee associated with the itunes match service. My question is If I am paying the subscription fee for the itunes match service will I also be billed for all the additional space over 5 GB that my music library occupies? My library is in excess of 50 GB.

ITunes Match is nothing to do with iCloud, it will not use up any of your allocated iCloud storage.

Can I purchase FiOS Internet alone, and what are the costs associated with it?

There is no FiOS available in my area currently, but is expected to become available soon. This is my question, when my brother signs up for the bundle, (television, telephone, and internet), is it possible to add another FiOS internet line (we prefer to have separate internet connections), and ONLY internet, without telephone and television? If so, what are all the costs, such as if I need to get another telephone line to facilitate FiOS internet?

FIOS is fiber to the premise, you do not have to have a phone circuit. Tekephone and Data, and Video if available in your area, are available bundled or as seperate packages. Call your local sales office or go to www.verizon.com/fios for prices
You can not have two data circuits on one account, so you will need a seperate ONT unless you live in an apartment building and they hav a Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) Optical Terminal installed.
If you want two seperate routers on one circuit you can do that, but Verizon does not support it, you would have to set it up yourself.

Costs associated with a Delphi device

I see that one would need to buy the device, for my van either $100 or $200 depending on whether or not I wanted to have a hotspot, and a Delphi $5.00/month fee. Are there any other fees not specifically cited by the materials when adding one of these gadgets to my account?

let me give you the SAP perspective on the questions you raised
1. Cost analysis: Some factors that you should take into consideration are:
- the hardware or virtual machines needed (only pretty low minimum requirements, usually you can use already amortized hardware)
- Operating System: you would need a Red Hat or Suse Linux OS, which you might either have already licensed or might need to obtain
- Installation Effort: installation itself is pretty straightforward, usually the landscape considerations around take a bit more time to settle (how to integrate into the landscape etc.) - maybe you might spend some consulting effort here
- SAP NetWeaver License: usually you might have this license already (see FAQ), so typically there are no costs arising here
By using AccAD you will gain: better response times --> people can work faster with the systems and you save bandwidth when transmitting data.
2. which applications are accelerated? anything you can address via http and https will benefit from the caching and compression mechansims of AccAD, this includes web-enabled Business Suite applications (e.g. content from ERP Enhancement Packages, CRM, ...), SAP NetWeaver Portal, SAP NetWeaver BW, ... as well as Non-SAP web-applications . Usually SAP GUI access can already be tuned by the SAP GUI tools themselves (via setting "low speed connection" in the configuration) - experience showed so far that AccAD is not significantly more efficient than those generic means.
3. 3rd party acceleration tools: the focus of AccAD is on web-enabled SAP applications, thus it might of course make sense to use another acceleration tool for speeding up the access to mailboxes, fileshares etc.

FDM: Maintenance cost associated to FDM.URGENT

We have bought FDM which includes the SAP-FIN-A Adapter. I am paying an anual maintenance fees so i have the following doubt:
SAP-FIN-A adapter has 14 fields that are pulled from SAP Financials (always the same fields):
1. Scenario
2. Company code
3. Company code description
4. FM Area
5. Year
6. Period
7. GL Account
8. Gl Account Description
9. Commitment Item
10. Period Balance
11. Year to date period balance
12. Currency
13. Currency Description
14. Version
If I need to retrieve more fields, I will need to modify the SAP-FIN-A source code. If I do that, the SAP-FIN-A adapter warranty will continue or Oracle will consider I am modifying its SAP-FIN-A Adapter and therefore they won't be responsible if an error happens?

Hello,
Unfortunately there is no way for you to modify the source code of the adapter. The "Adapter" (which is written by Oracle) only transfers the file from the SAP Server to the FDM Server for processing. The generated 'file' is written by BristleCone with the updates made to BOPI's in SAP. Since both are precompiled coding to only do specific functions there is no way to change this.

Delivery cost calculation solution in SRM 7

Dear all,
We have a requirement to capture delivery costs associated purchases made via SRM. We would like to know if itu2019s possible to achieve the two scenarios indicated below. And if so, where and how do we enable delivery cost calculation process for SRM generated POs?
Here are the 2 scenarios/requirements:
Scenario 1.
Shipping costs pre negotiated before a shopping cart is raised. When the PO vendor sends an invoice, shipping costs appear on a separate. We need a functionality to automatically calculate and add/capture these delivery costs to the SRM based PO and have the ability to match/pay for this when the vendor invoices.
Scenario 2.
Delivery costs such as fright costs are not know at the point the SRM PO is created. The PO vendor invoices only for goods that he delivers. Freight costs/charges have to be paid to another vendor - e.g. DHL. We need a functionality to automatically add/capture these Freight costs to the SRM based PO and have the ability to match/pay both the PO and Freight Vendors when they submit their invoices.

Cost Analysis by Sale Order

Hello,
I'm seeking to enable in BI a Cost Analysis Scenario with repect to the Sales Orders. That is, something similar to the analysis you can easily perform in the R/3 area Accounting -> Controlling -> Product Cost Controlling -> Product Cost by Sales Order.
For instance in standard report KKBC_KUN, you can choose a sales order number and get all the cost elements related to that sales order, with the corresponding costs.
I have examined the following objects provided by the BW's Business Content:
- InfoCube 0PC_C01: it contains only the costs related to production orders, and not the costs associated with sales orders.
- InfoSource 0CO_OM_CCA_9: it seems interesting, in fact it delivers some header and line item data of the Controlling Object Document. Unfortunately it doesn't deliver the crucial characteristics Controlling Object and Controlling Object Type, which I definitly need for enabling my analysis scenario!!
(By the way, are these 2 characteristics delivered by the BC? There exists a 0COSTOBJ characteristic, but it's not used by any object in the flow afterwards. Moreover, I can't find a standard DataSource in R/3 which I can use to load either its attributes or its texts, and see what data enter it..)

Symptom
In R/3, costs are posted directly to sales orders. The costs have to be analyzed in the BW system. In the standard system, however, this data is not extracted into the BW system.

Solution
1. There are currently no DataSources for costs on sales orders in the standard BW Business Content. Unfortunately, there are currently no resources scheduled for a new development in this area either.
2. Therefore, the DataSources and the Business Content must be created in the customer project within the framework of consulting as a customer solution concerning the generic extraction options of the BW Service APIs or function modules you have programmed yourself for extracting data.
3. Technical background information about costs on sales orders:
The transaction data is available in the following R/3 tables
COSS and COSP - Totals records or COEP - Line items.
This concerns records for the VB* object numbers.
The master data of the sales orders is contained in the VBAK and VBAP tables.
The 0CO_OM_OPA_1 and 0CO_OM_OPA_6 DataSources only extract costs for orders with master data in the AUFK table. These types of requests always have OR* object numbers. Therefore, these DataSources cannot be used for sales orders.
However, you may be able to assign requests from the AUFK table (for example, maintenance orders or production orders) to a sales order through the AUFK-KDAUF table field.

Difference between cost of sales & sales revenue

What is the difference between cost of sales & sales revenue ?
Does it get stored in SD cubes or GL cubes ?

Sales Revenue is the total sales amount. Cost of Sales, also referred to as Cost of Goods Sol, are the costs associated with building product (e.g. raw materials, labour, etc in the case of a manufacturer).
These figures are going to be in the General Ledger, or some companies do this in Profit Center Accounting (PCA).

Standard SAP Cost Report which captures costs incurred for replacementgoods

We want to track the costs related to the Replacement of goods sold free of charge and under warranty shipped to our customers. We are currently using the field "Usage" on the item level of the sales order.The item category created within the Sales Order is either ZST0 or ZMO0.
Unfortunately, I can't find any report in which the field "Usage" would be presented along the costs related to the item. The report I'm looking for would be used to evaluate, on a given period of time (ex. Fiscal Year or a month), the total costs associated to the replacement units by sales order item.
1) An existing report (which I have not found) exists, please let me know which one
2) There is another way to track such costs within SAP.
Please let me know if there is a standard report which tracks costs related to replacement goods.

Can PMAC be run Daily and Can we see the Batch Update Cost Daily?

My Client wants to see Daily Updated Cost each end of day Through PMAC. Is it possible to run daily and Can we also see the COGS too.
Now we have a Requirement here :
My Clinet During the Production Process uses : Boiler Fuel, Chlorine, Electricity, Caustic Soda,Chain Lube, Generator Diesel.
They would like to see each day how much has been consumed along with the cost during the Production Process at each end of the day and apportion the above things to all across the batches as per their KPIs (Key Performance Integrator).
Now the challenge we cant take these Parameter as ingredients in Formulas. So Please guide us in providing the solution.
They also informed us that they can not give these things in Hourly Basis. So Please Provide us the solution how to take this parameters to derive COGS..

In Actual costing, PMAC, by definition, derives the weighted average rate only at the month end. You can refer to last period cost as a reference to perform Batch Cost SIMULATION (COGM). Same is the case with simulated COGS.
Now coming to the problem of Cost Allocation. Let us discuss various options.
Option1: FOH - Let us start with the simple one:
- Consider all the indirect mfg. expenses as a Cost Component - Factory Overheads.
- Derive standard rate (FOH/Unit) and apply it to onto products based on cost driver such as Production Volume cost components.
- Once FOH applied for the last period, current period can use this as reference.
Option2: Machine Recovery Rate, Utility Cost - Now let us try bringing in more precision by effective use of Routing definitions in Recipe:
- You have mentioned that we cannot consider cleaning material, Utilities (Electricity, Water, Fuel) as a part of formula. So we consider Routing to absorb such cost (Equipment Cost, Utility Cost, Cleaning Material Cost) associating the Unit Rate to various activities in the Operations.
- Define separate Cost Components - Equipment Cost, Utility Cost
- With this definition, you will able to absorb the major part of the factory overheads in the production batches.
- Rest of the indirect mfg. cost can be allocated onto the products as in option 1 at the month end @ actuals.
This is very interesting topic from Activity Based Costing view point. Let us request cost accountants to contribute to this discussion.

Customer wants Inventory Transfer to associate Freight/Landed Cost to Items

This is the situation:
SAP B1 customer wants sells items from warehouse 01 and warehouse 02. Warehouse 01 on eastern side of Canada and Warehouse 02 on Western side.
They would like to transfer certain items to warehouse 02. However, it involves Freight or Landed Costs associated.
The customer may adjust the price of items transferred to 02 or and if they don't they atleast would like to know whether they are taking a loss in selling the transferred items from warehouse 02.
In order to know the cost of items or associated cost with the items in 02, they need to track Freight or Landed costs associated with the transfer to western Canada.
Inventory Transfer does not allow us to associate any shipping charges? or am I missing something here?
Associating shipping charges with inventory transfer seems like such a natural act of transfer through Trucks? why isn't it associated with inventory transfer function in SAP B1?

In general there should NOT be additional cost besides the ones that you listed above (the PayPal fee, and the Adobe FormsCentral subscription fee).

SSHR benefits view costs

Hello Gurus,
I am having an issue with some rates not shown in the SSHR benefits . When you look at the current elections it shows the plan the EE is enrolled and has three columns for cost (cost1, cost 2, cost 3) From my understanding each column represents a rate (cost 1= employee rate) (cost 2= employer rate) (cost 3 = ?) I am not seeing some plans rates feed over although they have a standard rate and element attached to that rate. Can someone please explain or help me understand where and why the rates would not show?
Please correct me if the three costs are not set up how I explained above.

I am working on 11i and under Employee Self Service>Benefits>Next >Benefits Enrollment tab. On this screen you are able to view the plans the EE is enrolled into and next to that chart there are three columns that state cost 1 2 and 3 with a relating cost associated with it. Looking back at the standard rates, most of which are employer contribution are marked in cost 1 and another in cost 2. There is one cost (ee medical) that also shows up in cost 1 column. (I do not think cost 1 is specifically for employer or employee contributions only). Now saying that, some plan costs are showing blank although the standard rates are set up the same.
What specifically goes in each column (cost 1, 2 ,3 )
Why do some rates not show, how can i change that?
