Ssh client with key management

hi,
i search of a ssh client with rsa/dsa key management, and i can't find one
thanks
C

Not sure precisely if this is what you're looking for, but Fugu
http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/
seems to be a pretty effective SSH client, with graphical interface.
Does running shh from the Terminal (command line) do what you need?

  • Manage 10.8 clients with workgroup manager

    Previously using Mac OS X 10.6.8 server with workgroup manager to manage clients.
    Installed new server running 10.8.
    I downloaded and am using the Workgroup Manager application for 10.8.
    I set up a client running 10.7.  Used the "Users and Groups" pref pane to join my directory server, and was able to then add that computer to a new group in wgm and manage the preferences.
    I set up another client running 10.8.   Used the "Users and Groups" pref pain to join my directory server, and it does not appear in my list of available clients when I browse for it to add it to the computer group.
    Does this functionality no longer work with 10.8 clients?  Was hoping to avoid profile manager for one more year....
    Thanks for any help,
    Chris

    I'm curious to know if you're still having this issue, I'm seeing the same thing here in our setup.  We have no problems with any of these users actually logging in, but we're certainly seeing a lot of them show up as "not found" ... and once they have been "lost" they seem to be lost for good!
    I'm not sure if it's something stuck in cache or if our overworked AD server doesn't respond properly and breaks something ...

  • LMS-TV SSH-Client with ttermpro

    Hello,
    Locking for a working SSH-Client-setup with ttermpro instead of putty (that is working, but customer will use tterm) using the campusmgr.properties procedure. With ttermpro "Invalid Host" returned in any case.
    thx for help, Steffen

    I added read & execute access for C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe to everyone (in DE "Jeder") at the Computer where I start the LMS-browser.
    Than I launched toplogy in Mozilla, after accessing Telnet in context menu a IE-Explorer Windows opens trying to access /">telnet:///
    that shows "Die Webseite kann nicht angezeigt werden", means website is in accessable
    The mentioned Regkey in LMS online help was:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE\SOFTWARE \Microsoft\ Internet
    Explorer\Main\ FeatureControl\ FEATURE_DISABLE_ TELNET_PROTOCOL]
    "iexplore.exe" =dword:00000000
    I gues it was the produre for the IE Telnet protocol handler???

  • Ssh server with keys for authentication?

    Anyone have a link to doco or tutorial that covers how to setup an ssh server running on your Mac (latest version OSX) such that:
    * assumption - port forward ssh port on your home gateway to your Mac
    * keys established (for better security) - i.e. need to have the key available on your external PC when wanting to ssh back to home
    * custom ssh port
    * only access ssh requires for logon from predefined external IP addresses (or perhaps this is something you'll setup on your home internet gateway/router along with port forwarding)

    hi kbwrecker,
    as i know, sharepoint will as well follow the diagram that you posted before, additional article
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262350(v=office.15).aspx#plansaml
    i checked with our ADFS engineer, the certificate is to sign the token, so, it should not have any relation directly to each of the realm.
    i am not quite sure on how this ADFS and token signing, will work that deep, as from sharepoint side, we may need only the certificate that is valid, and update them to our environment, to make it work.
    for more details regarding this issue, you may try to open a thread as well in the ADFS thread for this.
    based on the additional article, your design may able to work, but we encourage you to seek more deep answer in ADFS forum thread
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/dd448613.aspx

  • SSH client with GUI?

    Hello. I am using SSH for my webpage, and its a bit hard to use commands to upload stuff all the time.
    Is there any application with GUI?

    Bebo wrote:Another method would be to use sshfs (available in the Extra repos) and "mount" the web page account. That way you can access your web page files just as you access files locally. Since you seem to know how to use ssh from command line, a sshfs mount shouldn't be too difficult to do
    It is the same with nautilus The webpage is now "mounted" and i may access it easy

  • Can't enroll devices with Profile Manager - invalid key

    n my case I can install profiles on devices from Profile Manager page but I cannot enroll devices.
    The certificate I download to enroll is reject by my MacBook Pro Lion: Says Invalid blablabla at the end:
    Now I have done log research and I now exactly and understand why it doesn't work:
    the scep_helper daemon is supposed to listen to port 1640 TCP (which you should forward to your server by the way, if you want to be able to enroll devices) and provide the requsting client the root CA that signed the certificate. In my case, it can't find the root CAT to provide the client with so it can finalize the cert validation process.
    In my case, that's what I see in the log:
    Jul 29 02:12:44 teknologism scep_helper[1638]: SCEP_HELPER: /SourceCache/RemoteDeviceManagement/RemoteDeviceManagement-701.70/scep_helper/m ain.m:727 'status = SCEPGetCACert(session, NULL, 0)' = -25300

    Jul 29 02:12:44 teknologism ProfileManager[516]: Could not retrieve root certificate from open directory server.
    No , as for the bad news: I have no idea on how to fix. Have dug into scep_helper, googled etc. Not a single clue on how to check it's configuration or even why it can't find the root CA. By the way everyhting else (I really mean everything, ical,cardav,web,wiki etc.) work great. And profile manager too, it's just the enroll thingy that doesn't work. And the root CA cert is in /etc/certificates. My server a legit Class 1 SSL cert signed by a system trsuted CA (Startfiel to name it)
    I have tried with other certs etc... It's a no go.
    Can anyone help ??
    How can I add that missing CA Cert in opendirectory ?

  • How do I configure Kwallet to manage SSH and GPG keys? [SOLVED]

    I'm using a select few KDE programs (not the DE) such as Kontact (and with that KMail, Korganizer, Kaddressbook...) and Kwallet. I've got a GPG and an SSH key which I need in Git to sign commits and push. I'd like to have Kwallet manage ALL of these passwords/passphrases, (e-mail, SSH, GPG) and only be prompted for a password to unlock my wallet once per session - or better yet, have the wallet unlocked by logging in (like the keychain in OS X). I'm currently using SLiM (systemd, slim.service) as the login manager. I had a glance at this tutorial for inspiration but to no success...
    This is my ~/.xinitrc:
    #!/bin/sh
    if [ -d /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d ]; then
    for f in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/*; do
    [ -x "$f" ] && . "$f"
    done

    No success so far, really, need more ideas.
    Neither of /etc/kde/env/{gpg,ssh}-agent-startup.sh seem to be run by anything automatically on my system upon boot and logging in. I tried going back to the beginning and I got GPG working alright, when signing a commit I was automatically authenticated. SSH however still prompts me by CLI to enter my passphrase when I try to git-push or ssh into a server. I set an empty password for the wallet to have it "unlocked by logging in". I thought setting "export SSH_ASKPASS='/usr/bin/ksshaskpass'" in ~/.zprofile would have it prompt for the password in some manner of Qt window related to Kwallet, but apparently it doesn't. In top both ssh-agent and gpg-agent are displayed as running - but if I run gpg-agent in Konsole I get the output "gpg-agent: no gpg-agent running in this session", ssh-agent on the other hand outputs "SSH_AUTH_SOCK=/tmp/ssh-noaDS3C4AP8M/agent.1830; export SSH_AUTH_SOCK;
    SSH_AGENT_PID=1831; export SSH_AGENT_PID;
    echo Agent pid 1831;".

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/server-cloud/archive/2011/11/15/streamlined-client-management-and-vdi-with-configuration-manager-2012.aspx
    But I didn't find any way or description in the blog on how to prepare the client in the base image used for VDI. Do we still have to make the client unique before shutting down the base image? Or will this be done automatically?
    Are these new attributes (IsVirtual, IsMachineChangesPersistent ...) enabled by default?
    Thanks!
    Gr. Cédric.

    No this is handled by ConfigMgr post SP1
    Are these new attributes (IsVirtual, IsMachineChangesPersistent ...) enabled by default?
    For XenDesktop  -no you will need to enable them in the client settings (not sure for other virtual
    solutions)
    In the SCCM Console go to the Administration workspace; click Client Settings. Right click the Default Client Settings and choose Properties
    Choose Hardware Inventory and click Set Classes.
    Click the Add button and then click Connect.
    Enter the computer name of a master image device that has the SCCM client installed.
    Enter root\ccmvdi as the WMI namespace and click Connect.
    Select CCM_DesktopMachine. Click Ok.
    Cheers

    Read my wiki entry to ssh-keys and you know what it's used for

    EDIT:
    it's in STAGING now so you can get it from there

    I only just realized, that the key stays unlocked across a reboot and that even though I set the keychain up to lock after 5 Minutes and on hibernating. This is just broken. What could I have possible done wrong?

  • Managing 10.4 clients with 10.5 Server

    Before I jump in....any feedback on managing 10.4 clients with 10.5 server (will post the vice-versa in the 10.4 server forum) from those who are doing it currently?
    Thanks,
    k

    I checked out the link you mentioned. It's really dealing w/ managing the client. I'm have weird issues w/ clients logging in. Today I had a grade level try to log in. Ten of the computers would let that grade level in, two would not. Of the Ten computers approx 5 wouldn't let them log in the first time, but once they were restarted they were able to log in. All of the computers are on a wired network as well as a wireless backup. Of the two that would not let them login I had just restored one and set the settings up the same as the others.
    I'll be damned, this is the weirdest I have had with Apple client management.

  • Has anyone managed to create an email account on the OS X mail client with Exchange 2007?

    Hi guys,
    the IT chaps of my new employer tell me that it is impossible to use the OS X mail client with Exchange 2007 servers. Is that correct? If so, does anyone know a workaround?
    Thanks

    No workaround needed, open Mail, Contacts and Calendars (in System Preferences) select Exchange, enter your email address and password, opt to setup Contacts and Calendars as well as mail and hit enter. That should set it up (assuming your apparently witless IT dept has setup the autodiscover record correctly at their end)

  • Any best practice for Key Management with Oracle Obfuscation?

    Hi,
    I was wondering if anyone is aware if there are any best practices regarding key management when using Oracle's DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT? I'm particularly interested in how we can protect the encryption/decryption key that we would use.
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Oracle offers this document, which includes a strategy for what you're after:
