SSRS - Boolean Parameter to pick max date

I'm trying to create a Boolean parameter that would perform the following:
If the user indicates True, the report will return rows with the most recent date, rather than show duplicates.
If left False, the report runs as normal, pulling each row and leaving the duplicates.
SSRS doesn't appear to allow me to say something like =IIF(Parameters!MaxDate=1, Fields!MaxCreatedDate, Nothing) in an expression anywhere. When I try, I receive an error telling me "Fields cannot be used in query parameter expressions". Does
anyone have an idea of how I could accomplish this?
Thanks.

You need to do this at query behind I believe
write the filter logic as below
SELECT Columns...
FROM
SELECT *,ROW_NUMBER() OVER (PARTITION BY GRoupFields ORDER BY DateField DESC) AS Seq
FROM Table
)t
WHERE Seq = 1
OR @BooleanParameter = 0
where GroupedFields is feilds for which you need to get distinct list.

  • Query to fetch the max date

    Hi All,
    Taking the below data as sample,we have a requirement wherein we have to fetch the date based on the following criteria.
    Item     Cost     Transaction Date
    A     23     12-feb-2012 1:00 AM
    P     23     12-feb-2012 2:00 AM
    B     24     13-feb-2012
    C     43     14-feb-2012 3:00 AM
    M     43     14-feb-2012 8:00 AM
    D     12     16-feb-2012
    User will pass date as the parameter and if the table has Transaction Date same as the date parameter then that date is picked.
    Eg: if the parameter passed is 12-feb-2012, since it is present in table then 12-Feb-2012 2:00AM will be fetched. The table has 2 records, the onewith latest date is picked.
    Now if the table does not have Transaction Date same as the date parameter then the max date previous to that date passed as parameter should be picked.
    Eg: if the parameter passed is 15-feb-2012, since 15- FEB-2012 is not present in table, it should pick 14-FEB-2012 8:00 AM (latest date).
    I am not able to frame queries for the above criteria.
    If someone can help me with the same, it would be of great help.
    Regards,
    Shruti

    Hi, Shruti,
    this does waht you requested:
    SELECT     MAX (transaction_date)     AS max_transaction_date
    FROM     table_x
    WHERE     transaction_date < TO_DATE ( :given_date
                              , 'DD-Mon-YYYY'
                           ) + 1
    ;where :given_date is a string, such as '12-feb-2012'.
    Since the call to TO_DATE doesn't specify hours, minutes or seconds, they will befault to 00:00:00, so '12-feb-1012' would mean mignight at the beginning of February 12. We want it to mean anything later on the same day; that's why I added 1 to the date, and used < instead of <=.
    I hope this answers your question.
    If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all tables involved, and also post the results you want from that data.
    Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
    Always say which version of Oracle you're using.

  • I have SSRS parametarized report in that one data set have repeated values with query parameter . but while am mapping that query parameter to report parameter i need to pass distinct values. How can i resolve this

    I have SSRS parametarized report in that one data set have repeated values with query parameter . but while am mapping that query
    parameter to report parameter i need to pass distinct values. How can i resolve this

    Hi nancharaiah,
    If I understand correctly, you want to pass distinct values to report parameter. In Reporting Service, there are only three methods for parameter's Available Values:
    None
    Specify values
    Get values from a query
    If we utilize the third option that get values from a dataset query, then the all available values are from the returns of the dataset. So if we want to pass distinct values from a dataset, we need to make the dataset returns distinct values. The following
    sample is for your reference:
    Select distinct field_name  from table_name
    If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

  • SSAS report action to pass multi-value list of dimention key values to a SSRS report parameter

    This was originally posted on StackOverflow and suggested I try here as well.
    I want to create a report action in an SSAS OLAP cube that generates a list of formatted values to pass into an SSRS report parameter that accepts a multi-valued parameter list.  This would be applied at the
    cell level in the SSAS action.  I have found a solution that gets me most of the way:
    How to Pass Multiple Values from an SSAS Report Drill Through Action to an SSRS Multi-Value Parameter, but not quite.  The action does appear in Excel and works
    if I run the action from a cell that is at or below the dimension attribute I am generating the list for, in this case,
    Account Key.
    Below is a link to a screen capture (unable to embed it due to lack of reputation) showing the action and dimension structure in Excel.  The action works as long as I run it at the
    Account Key level or below.  I want to be able to run it at higher levels, such as
    Account Major and still have it generate all then related Account Key values for the SSRS report parameter.  Running it at the higher
    Account Major level does not trigger the report to run.
    Excel Action Screen Shot:
    http://i.stack.imgur.com/QCGSp.png
    Below is the MDX I am using to generate the value for the report parameter:
    UrlEscapeFragment(
    GENERATE(
    DESCENDANTS(
    [Account].[Account Key].CurrentMember,
    [Account].[Account Key].[Account Key]
    [Account].[Account Key].CURRENTMEMBER.Name,
    "&rp:Account="
    I am hoping that I can somehow modify the MDX above to make it return all the
    Account Keys for any attribute of the Account dimension when ran from any measure cell, not just when ran at self and children of
    Account Key in the pivot table.
    Also, if it helps, I can execute the following MDX query on the cube and get the results I am looking for.
    WITH MEMBER [Measures].[Account Key List] as
    GENERATE(
    DESCENDANTS([Account].[Account].CurrentMember, [Account].[Account].[Account]),
    [Account].[Account].CURRENTMEMBER.NAME,
    "&rp:Account=")
    SELECT {[Measures].[Account Key List]} on 0,
    ([Account].[Account Company Number].[Account Company Number],[Account].[Account Major].[Account Major]
    ) on 1
    FROM [Company 10 Action Demo]
    Below are partial results:
    10.116&rp:Account=10.116.010
    10.117&rp:Account=10.117.010&rp:Account=10.117.020
    10.120&rp:Account=10.120.005&rp:Account=10.120.006&rp:Account=10.120.010&rp:Account=10.120.020&rp:Account=10.120.030&rp:Account=10.120.040&rp:Account=10.120.050&rp:Account=10.120.060&rp:Account=10.120.380&rp:Account=10.120.999
    10.123
    Questions
    Any ideas what I might need to do to get Account Key to be returned for any attribute of the
    Account dimension?
    Would I possibly have to alter my Account dimension in the cube to get this to work?
    Thanks in advance.
    Edit 1 - Adventure Works Cube Version
    I was unable to get the suggested answer with the "Exists" function to work.  To better demonstrate this issue, I have recreated it using the Adventure Works Cube.
    I will focus on the Customer dimension, specifically the Customer and
    Education attributes.  I created a report action called Test Report Action.  Below is the XML created for it in the cube.
    <Action xsi:type="ReportAction" dwd:design-time-name="f35ad5ee-5167-4fb8-a0e0-0a74cc6e81c6">
    <ID>Report Action 1</ID>
    <Name>Test Report Action</Name>
    <TargetType>Cells</TargetType>
    <Target></Target>
    <Type>Report</Type>
    <ReportServer>SQLSERVER</ReportServer>
    <Path>ReportServer?/Test Report</Path>
    <ReportParameters>
    <ReportParameter>
    <Name>Test Customer Existing</Name>
    <Value>UrlEscapeFragment(
    GENERATE(
    EXISTING DESCENDANTS(
    [Customer].[Customer].CurrentMember,
    [Customer].[Customer].[Customer]
    [Customer].[Customer].CURRENTMEMBER.Name,
    "&amp;rp:Customer="
    )</Value>
    </ReportParameter>
    </ReportParameters>
    <ReportFormatParameters>
    <ReportFormatParameter>
    <Name>rs:Command</Name>
    <Value>Render</Value>
    </ReportFormatParameter>
    <ReportFormatParameter>
    <Name>rs:Renderer</Name>
    <Value>HTML5</Value>
    </ReportFormatParameter>
    </ReportFormatParameters>
    </Action>
    Below are the steps to re-create the issue.
    Connect to the cube in Excel
    Add dimension Customer -> More Fields -> Customer
    Add measure Internet Sales -> Internet Sales Amount
    Right-click Internet Sales Amount cell, select "Additional Actions" -> "Test Report Action" and see customer values created for URL
    When the action is ran at this point with Customer, I see the values created in the URL shown message box (since there is no SSRS report server at location specified).
    Now the part I'm unable to resolve
    Remove the Customer dimension and add Customer -> Demographic -> Education
    Right-click Internet Sales Amount cell, select "Additional Actions" -> "Test Report Action"
    Nothing happens. If I ran the action on the cell next to "Bachelors", I would want it to build up all the list of all the "Customers"  that make up the "Bachelors" in the
    Customer dimension as part of the report parameter.  If no attributes where used in the cube from the
    Customer dimension for that cell, then I would like it to return "All Customers", or something similar to show that all customers are included in the aggregations.
    I am not too MDX savvy, thus far.  I think I need to somehow join the
    Customers to Internet Sales Amount in the Generate function portion.  I have tried several different combinations of the
    Customer dimension and Internet Sales Amount, along with various functions to see if I could get this to work with no success.  I am hoping that someone more knowledgeable the me will have a solution.   If you need more details,
    please ask and I will provide them.

    Simon,
    Thanks for you help with this.  This morning I found a workaround.  Below describes what that is.
    What I ended up doing was getting a list of values from a degenerate dimension that I could use to pass to SSRS to get a list of transactions for a report.  Below is how I did this, in relation to the Adventure Works cube using the degenerate dimension
    Internet Order Details.
    WITH MEMBER [Measures].[Order Param List] AS
    GENERATE(
    EXISTS([Internet Sales Order Details].[Sales Order Number].[Sales Order Number].Members, ,
    "Internet Sales"),
    [Internet Sales Order Details].[Sales Order Number].CurrentMember.Name,
    "&rp:OrderNum=")
    SELECT {[Measures].[Order Param List], [Measures].[Internet Sales Amount]} ON 0
    ,([Date].[Calendar].[Date]) ON 1
    FROM [Adventure Works]
    This will get a list of Sales Order Number in a text string, separated by "&rp:OrderNum=" for each measure of
    Internet Sales. This would allow me to create an SSRS report to bring back detail information for each
    Sales Order Number. Below are some sample results.
    May 16, 2007 SO50493&rp:OrderNum=SO50494&rp:OrderNum=SO50495&rp:OrderNum=SO50496&rp:OrderNum=SO50497&rp:OrderNum=SO50498&rp:OrderNum=SO50499&rp:OrderNum=SO50500 $12,157.80
    May 17, 2007 SO50501&rp:OrderNum=SO50502&rp:OrderNum=SO50503&rp:OrderNum=SO50504&rp:OrderNum=SO50505&rp:OrderNum=SO50506&rp:OrderNum=SO50507&rp:OrderNum=SO50508 $13,231.62
    May 18, 2007 SO50509&rp:OrderNum=SO50510 $4,624.91
    With this, I can then create a Report Action in SSRS with a Parameter Value of
    UrlEscapeFragment(
    GENERATE(
    EXISTS([Internet Sales Order Details].[Sales Order Number].[Sales Order Number].Members, ,
    "Internet Sales"),
    [Internet Sales Order Details].[Sales Order Number].CurrentMember.Name,
    "&rp:OrderNum=")
    The way I was going about it before was flawed, as I was trying to get a list of the granular values from each dimension used to build the measure value and pass each one of those as separate parameters. I just needed to set something unique for each fact
    measure transaction that represents the value and uses that in a query parameter for the SSRS report.

  • SSAS Max date in grouped set of records

    I have a query where I need to pull back the latest risk assessment rating for a record, but need to do this for all records from the query. I have MS
    SSRS Report Builder (V3) as the only way to access this data and no access to modify the underlying cubes which are provided by a supplier.
    My basic MDX which pulls out the data needed is the following:
    SELECT
    NON EMPTY {
    [Measures].[No of Investigations]
    } ON COLUMNS,
    NON EMPTY { (
    [Investigation Indicators and Text Fields].[Investigation Reference Number].[Investigation Reference Number].ALLMEMBERS *
    [Risk Assessment Rating].[Risk Rating].[Risk Rating].ALLMEMBERS *
    [Risk Assessment Completed Date].[Date].[Date].ALLMEMBERS *
    [Risk Assessment Completed Time].[Time HHMM].[Time HHMM].ALLMEMBERS
    ) } ON ROWS
    FROM [Investigation]
    which leaves my Date and Time needing to be concatenated. I have carried this out as a calculated field but am unable to then test for a max value as it gives me an error around using an aggregate function.
    Is anyone able to provide me with any ideas on how to carry this out, either via the MDX statement
    or subsequently. Ideally I would like to be able to create the results in two ways - one with all records and a marker showing which is the latest assessment, and one which just pulls back the subset via MDX.
    For clarity the source system holds Investigation records as the core item of interest, and these can have multiple risk assessments attached to them (of different types). I need to return the latest risk assessment against each investigation. If at all possible
    it would be good to return all investigations, with or without risk assessments, as the missing records need to be quality assured.
    Thanks for any help, ideas or pointers on this.

    Hi Steven,
    According to your description, you want to marker the Max date in the assemessments, right?
    Generally, when creating a date dimension in a SSAS project, the dimension members were sorted in date order. So the last date is the max date. We can get the last date using ClosingPeriod function. Here is a sample function for you reference.
    with member [measures].[a]
    as
    ClosingPeriod ([Date].[Calendar].[Date],[Date].[Calendar].currentmember).name
    select {[measures].[a]} on 0,
    [Date].[Calendar].[Month].members on 1
    from
    [Adventure Works]

  • SQL Help getting Max() date....

    Hi gurus, Here is my situation:
    Here is the sample data:
    Policy_Id Policy-Exp_Dt COl_1
    123_____10/30/2008 __ 333
    123_____ 09/25/2008___445
    123_____ 08/30/2008___443
    Here i have to get the Policy-Exp_Dt from the second row; In other words for all rows which have a similar Policy_Id i should first find out the max(Policy-Exp_Dt) and get the next smallest available date to that.
    I have tried using
    select Policy_Id, COl_1, Policy_Exp_Dt from
    table_1
    where Policy-Exp_Dt = (select max(Policy-Exp_Dt)-1 from
    table_1 a
    where a.policy_id = table_1.policy_id)
    but here i am getting the value = 10/30/2008 - 1 which is 10/29/2008 but i need the value 9/25/2008 which is the next available date less than the max() date.
    Please Advise.

    I thought to use lag - maybe not as appropriate a ranking functions.
    Also we have a case where there is only One record for a policy - exclude this I guess!
    drop table Max_but_One;
    create table Max_but_One
      Policy_Id      integer      not null,
      Policy_Expires date         not null,
      Policy_Note    varchar2(20) not null

    insert into Max_but_One values (123, to_date('25-09-2008','dd-mm-yyyy'), 'Second note');

  • Increment a number on max date

    Hi all,
    I have the following script which increments by 1 each time a particular vehicle has been into the service department after the specified date. If the same vehicle has been in twice after this date I still only want to count it once. Hence I am trying to count by the max date. At the moment my script counts each and every instance the vehicle has been in. Not sure if I am using the correct logic construct, but the existing script below nearly gives me what I need.
    Existing Script
    WhilePrintingRecords;
    NumberVar CountService;
    NumberVar CountReport;
    If maximum (,) > Date (2010, 06, 07) then
    (CountService := CountService + 1;
    CountReport := CountReport + 1)
    A snapshot of the current result looks like the following,
    Service Date            Vehicle Number                  Count Service
    19.04.2010              6FPAAAJG517840                        1
    11.06.2010              6FPAAAJG517840                        2
    24.08.2010              ABC12345891111                         3
    What I am trying to achieve
    Service Date            Vehicle Number                  Count Service
    19.04.2010              6FPAAAJG517840                        0
    11.06.2010              6FPAAAJG517840                        1
    24.08.2010              ABC12345891111                         2
    Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Hi Ian,
    Thanks for that....
    I created two formulas as you said and this works a treat.
    1. If {service_retention1.RO_DATE} in Date (2008, 08, 01) to Date (2009, 07, 31) then {service_retention1.RO_DATE}
    Else Date(1900, 01 ,01)
    2. NthLargest(1,{@Test},{vehicle_inventory1.VIN})d out.
    All I need to do know is count how many dates have been picked ot.
    So far I have the following formula, but it is only counting 1. So I still have a bit of dabbling to do
    WhilePrintingRecords;
    NumberVar CountROTest;
    NumberVar CountReportTest;
    If {@TestMax} in Date (2008, 08, 01) to Date (2009, 07, 31)
    then
    (CountROTest := CountROTest + 1;
    CountReportTest := CountReportTest + 1)
    Thanks so much for all your help.

    I just checked my BIOS and my current setting is set at IDE although it also mentions that the default should be AHCI. Currently I have a dual boot of Windows 7 (need it for Tax software) and Arch
    So I guess, when I get the new HDD, I will first set it to AHCI and then install the OSes on it. See if NCQ helps any, and if not I will turn it back and re-install (if I have to). I am planning to have Windows only in virtualbox in the new drive.
    Anyhoo, while I was in the BIOS I found two things which I had questions about :
    1) Under Onboard Devices --> Integrated NIC , my setting is currently set at "On w/PXE" and it says the default should be just "On". Would it be ok to change it back to On since its a single machine and its not booting an OS on any server. I just don't want to have to re-install anything now since I will be doing that in the new HDD.
    2) How would I know whether my BIOS would support a 64 bit OS in Virtualbox? I checked some setting under Virtualization, but they weren't very clear.
    I will edit this post and let you know exactly what settings were present under the Virtualization sub-section.

  • Problem with payables open interface import-unable to pick invoice data

    Hi,
    I have put the Interface data in two staging table and then moved them to AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE and AP_INVOICE_LINES_INTERFACE tables.
    Code:
    insert into XXWU_AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE (
    invoice_id,
    invoice_num,
    vendor_id,
    vendor_site_id,
    vendor_site_code,
    invoice_amount,
    INVOICE_CURRENCY_CODE,
    invoice_date,
    DESCRIPTION,
    PAY_GROUP_LOOKUP_CODE,
    source,
    org_id,
    OPERATING_UNIT
    values (
    ap_invoices_interface_s.nextval,
    'INV345DJ',
    '3317',
    '14335',
    'ACH NY1',
    1200.00,
    'USD',
    to_date('01-31-2010','mm-dd-yyyy'),
    'This Invoice is created for test purpose',
    'WUFS SUPPLIER',
    'Manual Invoice Entry',
    81,
    'WU_USD_OU'
    insert into XXWU_AP_INVOICE_LN_INTERFACE (
    invoice_id,
    invoice_line_id,
    line_number,
    line_type_lookup_code,
    amount,
    org_id
    values (
    ap_invoices_interface_s.currval,
    ap_invoice_lines_interface_s.nextval,
    1,
    'ITEM',
    1200.00,
    81
    INSERT INTO AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE (SELECT * FROM XXWU_AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE);
    INSERT INTO AP_INVOICE_LINES_INTERFACE (SELECT * FROM XXWU_AP_INVOICE_LN_INTERFACE);
    I can very much see the data in Open Interface Invoices(Front End). But when I run the payables open interface import program with correct Operating Unit, Source and Batch Name, the program unable to pick the data from the interface tables and unable to create a invoice.
    Note:
    1] The program run successfully everytime, but there is no output in the output file.
    2] In the Log file One Message is there saying 'Zero(0) invoices were created during the process run.'
    3] All the initail setup is right, i think, because I ran the same program few days back and it was working fine and the invoices were created at that time. Now what is going wrong I am unable to figure it out.
    Please help ASAP.Thanks in Advance
    DJ Koch.

    Can you run the program - Payables Open Interface Import with Debug mode set to Yes.
    Once the program completes sucessfully verify the log file of the program and try to find out if there are any invoices which is causing the exceptions.
    Also confirm that the invoices which are in the AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE and AP_INVOICE_LINES_INTERFACE tables are of the correct period in which you are trying to create the invoices.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Max Data Rate: AGP 2x?!

    Bought myself a new MSI-KT6 Delta a few weeks ago (MSI-6590), and have had no problems until now.
    First up, my GeForce 4 Ti 4600 decided to suddenly die. Random characters on the screen in text mode, flickery colours and corrupt pixels everywhere. Windows wouldn't detect it properly anymore.
    Bought a new Powercolor Radeon 9600 XT with VIVO today. Downloaded the new drivers, and loaded up some Battlefield, all good. Runs nice and smooth. COD, Quake 3, etc, no problems at all.
    Halo, however... BAD. Even with the basic graphics settings and no Pixel-Shading, it runs at 4 frames a second, and nothing I do changes this, from lowest to highest with Pixel-Shaders 2.0. Although there's a visual difference, it's just as slow.
    So I loaded up ATI control Panel and used SmartGart to enable 8x and Fast-Writes... Rebooted, lots of flickering screen, and Windows XP is now software-rendering everything (Transparent menus take 100% CPU to fade in)
    Wait for SmartGart to fix my graphics again, and it's all back to 4x and no fast-write.
    Loaded up SiSoft Sandra, to check the settings in there...
    Mainboard: "Max Data Rate: AGP 2x"
    AGP Card: "Data Transfer Modes Support: 1x, 2x"
    "AGP Bus is unused or AGP card not fully AGP compatible"
    Er... should this be right? BIOS wont let me select an AGP speed, it's "Auto" and I can't select it. I'm a little concerned that my Motherboard may have been damaged! I'll go get the latest Halo Patch, but it doesn't change the fact that I can't use 8x or Fast-Write.
    I'm a little apprehensive about flashing my BIOS, made more difficult by the fact that I have no working floppy drive.
    CPU: AMD 2600+
    RAM: 2x512mb DDR 333MHz Kingston
    AlphaGremlin

    Well, I updated the VIA drivers, and an updated Sandra. AGP is running at 8x, and Fast-Writes are enabled! I don't know what the hell SmartGart was going on about, but it appears to slunk away and disappeared completely from the ATI control panel since the last reinstall of drivers.
    So there's one problem solved... but I don't know what's up with Halo... I can set it to the lowest settings and it still runs like an elephant with three legs, even with the -useff option for Fixed Function shaders... ah well, that's a matter for another forum, eh?
    Interesting note: Sandra reports my 120gb drive as 605gb... should I be trusting it?

  • Single Date Parameter, but using a date range for selection

    Post Author: fireman204
    CA Forum: Formula
    I'm fairly new to Crystal Reports, so be gentle with me.  I have a report that has 4 parameters.  The report asks for data for a specific month, the YTD data to the end of the selected month, and the same data from the previous year.  It seems there should be a way to enter a single parameter (ie., 2007-4-1), and off that date select all the data for the month, the current year to the end of that month, and then the data from the previous year for the same period.  I know this will be a formula field needed to select the data, but not sure how to get there from here.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance!

    Post Author: SKodidine
    CA Forum: Formula
    It should be possible for you to create just one parameter to have the user input a single date and then create formulae to create the begin and end dates for the month, YTD and PYTD.  You can then use these formulae for record selection criteria.
    For example, if the user inputs a date of 2007-04-01 for the single parameter then create formulae such as:
    beginmonth
    datevar beginmonth;
    beginmonth := date(year({?My Parameter}),month({?My Parameter}),01);
    endmonth
    datevar endmonth;
    endmonth := cdLastDayOfMonth ({?My Parameter});
    To use the cdlastdayofmonth function, In the formula workshop window, click on "Repository Custom Functions" then under CRYSTAL and DATE right click on cdlastdayofmonth and click on ADD TO REPORT.  Once that is done, then create the above "endmonth" formula.  You should see this new function in your formula workshop window in the FUNCTIONS window under CUSTOM FUNCTIONS.
    beginytd
    datevar beginytd := date(year(currentdate),01,01);
    endytd
    datevar endytd;
    endytd := cdLastDayOfMonth ({?My Parameter});
    beginpytd
    datevar beginpytd := date((year(currentdate)-1),01,01);
    endpytd
    evaluateafter({@endytd});
    datevar endytd;
    datevar endpytd;
    endpytd := date(year(endytd)-1,month(endytd),day(endytd));
    In your record selection criteria, you can use the above formulae like this:
    in {@beginmonth} to {@endmonth}
    or
    in {@beginytd} to {@endytd}
    or
    in {@beginpytd} to {@endpytd};
    This is one way of doing it, perhaps others might pitch in with a more efficient way.

  • How to update pick up date (VBAK-ABHOD) field in sales order

    I am creating sales orders using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 but it is not updating VBAK-ABHOD field i .e pick up date. Is there any FM which updates the pick up date VBAK-ABHOD also.
    I need to update pick up date for a special type of sales orders (Delivery orders) which are created in reference to schedule agreement.
    Is there any other way we can update pick up date. My last option is BDC but donot want to use it.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Rajesh.

    Hi Rajesh,
    You can not find any field in BAPI Change Or Create for sales order even header change BADI is for SAP Modification only. The best way to code in form USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP  in MV45AFZZ, orelse you can use CALL TRANSACTION Method.
    Please let me know if you have any issues.
    Thanks and regards,
