Stagevideo works in debuging mode but..

When I run my project in debug mode my stagevideo is displayed correctly but when I run it w/o debuging the stagevideo is not available. Is there a way to fix this?

Another interesting thing. When I use our VPN which can only work in IE, I am able to see the IDE for Apex 3.2 but not login, there's a similar error as described above. I am still able to login to Apex 3.1 using the VPN...hmmm

Procedure works in debug mode but not normally

I'm scratching my head on this and would appreciate any help as to what is happening.
We have client code that calls stored procedures on an Oracle 10g database. When I run it normally the procedure does not behave as expected. If I try to debug the code it works fine on client until I recompile the procedure again. I don't have the faintest idea why this happens but I'm not sure how to make it work correctly without putting it in debug mode.
If anybody has any idea what may be occurring I would appreciate the help.

Event receiver works perfectly in debug mode, but fails in release mode

Here is my item added event which works perfectly and gives read permission to CCfield user in debug mode, but doesn't give permissions to CCfield user when item added event is triggered in release mode:

Event receivers run using the permissions of the user who triggered the event. If your user does not have rights to manage permissions then you will need to run your security code with elevated permisisons.

Note that RunWithElevatedPermissions will not work with Sandbox code.

Embedding Flash swf in Google Site displays NaN output but works in Debug mode

Hello,
I am loading a text file with three variables into a flash file (CS5). The flash file then calculates and prints the three values based on some calculations. I am storing the text file as an attachment on the google page in which I am embedding the swf file. What's weird is that the flash file plays correctly in debugging mode (i.e., prints the 3 variables correctly), but as soon as I upload the swf to the Google site page (as an attachment in the same location as the text file), the flash file outputs NaN. I am stuck as to why the file works in debug mode in Flash, but not when it's uploaded to the google site page. I have tried storing the text file on SharePoint and referencing it from there, but I get the same results when viewing the swf on the Google site page.
Is it because the google site page is using SSL?
I am fairly new to flash, so any help would be appreciated.

When I put in the full URL to the attachment on the Google page (i.e., something similar to "myvars.load("https://sites.google.com/a/..../home/department-sites/sales/variables.txt,");" - instead of just "myvars.load("variables.txt");", it doesn't work. So right now its set to just "variables.txt" and the swf file is in the same root location as the variables.txt file on the Google page. I also have a copy of the variables.txt file in the same local directly in which I am running the flash file for testing. So I think when I run it in debug mode, its referencing the variables.txt file in the local directory, rather than the one stored as an attachment on the Google page.
That's what seems so weird...it runs locally in debug mode...but not when I embed it on the Google page. I can also get it to work if I explicity define the variables in the flash file, rather than rely on the external text file. That's the only time I can get it to work on the Google page.

Project runs Ok in debug mode but not in release mode

I have an application developed with VC++ 6.0 and measurement studio. The application controls SCXI-1161/1166 relay boards to connect the UUT. The application runs ok in debug mode, but in release mode the application can't drive the relay boards. I have tried to change optimizations mode, it didn't work. Who can tell me how to solve the problem? Thanks!

It sounds like you have an older version of our SWITCH driver which relies on our DAQ driver. I would recommend uninstalling the Traditional DAQ, DAQmx, and SWITCH drivers and then installing the newest version. At this point you have 2 options:
1) You can download Traditional DAQ 7.4, DAQmx 7.4, and NI-SWITCH 2.4 drivers bundled together here: ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/daq/pc/ni-daq/7.4/
2) You can install the latest version: NI-DAQmx 7.5 here: http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/websearch/CF7ECCEA4C4CC7DE86257038004D88AE?opendocument&node=13206... G4 iBook works in Safe Mode, but not in regular mode (stuck on blue screen)

14" iBook G4 1.2GHz with 1 gig of RAM.
I recently had an issue with this machine in that the image on the screen would freeze but the cursor would be able to move around. This was narrowed down to an issue with the logic board. I wanted something a little more permanent than a shim, so I sent the board in to have it reballed.
After installing the maching back into my iBook, it seemed to work fine until I applied a software update to the machine.
It was then that I got to experience the first of many kernel panics.
Restarting at different times always brought me to the dialog box which states that the machine needed to be restarted in multiple languages.
Running the Apple Hardware Test off my install disks yielded this error code: 2ATI/2/4:113-xxxxx-125
I have no idea what that means. I do know that just before I got the results of the test, the screen changed to all kinds of colors. It was only for a few seconds and then the results (with the error code) were displayed.
Still, not sure what to do next, I tried resetting the PRAM. I also tried resetting the NVRAM.
I also tried booting up into Safe Mode which actually worked. There were no issues with the machine and everything seemed to be working fine.
When I tried to restart the machine in regular mode, I'm taken to the infamous blue screen and the machine just stays there. When I let the machine stay off overnight, it booted up normal, but after applying the software update, the machine was in kernel panic again.
I've tried running fsck, but nothing changes.
I'm still not sure why it seems to work in Safe Mode but not in regular mode.
I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas.

A couple of the things that are disabled in safe mode are AirPort and non Apple startup items. The easiest thing for you to test is the AirPort card. Shut down and remove the AE card under the keyboard. See if it starts. If it does your AE card is bad. If not, start in safe mode and go to System Preferences>Accounts>youraccount and disable all non Apple startup (LOgin) items by clicking on them and then the minus sign. Restart normally and see if it will start.

Oracle connection works in VB debug mode but not in EXE

I have a small VB 6 app that writes to an oracle database on a unix server. Oracle 10g is installed on my pc. System DSN is set up in ODBC and corresponds to an entry in the tnsnames.ora file (to the best of my limited oracle knowledge..)
The connection to the database works fine in debug bug. Test Connection of that DSN works as well. But when I build and execute the EXE file it returns : "TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified"
What is different about the process of running an EXE that could cause this failure?

Sorry if I am putting this question in wrong section, this seems to be the most relative location to ask question.
My Problem:
I have developed an app using Adobe Air and starling. App is working perfectly when I run on Flash Builder (debug and run both). When deploying on iPad at one particular location, it is either not getting TouchPhase.ENDED or some code is crashing.
I tried to debug while running app on iPad and its working absolutely fine. But when I create the ipa file normally i.e. without debug mode, at a particular location code is not working.
Please help me out in this regard, asap. I need to deliver it.

Remote Enabled function module of SAP working - debug mode but not run mode

Hi,
When a remote function module is called from Java a message should get thrown from the function module which the FM is throwing but Java is not able to fetch the error. This problem is coming in execution mode but if we are in debugging mode and go to the function module remotely the error is getting triggered.
Please suggest the solution to the problem.

the problem is, that JCo ABAP Exceptions are subclasses of java.lang.RuntimeException so the Java Compiler doesn't force you to catch them

Working in Debug mode, not after building the installation.

I have a button to launch a form.
When I test it in debug mode, it works fine.
But, after making installation, if I do the same thing (press the button), I'm getting the following error:
Unexpected end of file while parsing name has occured. Line 1, position 2654.
Also, we have few add-ons operating on sales order.
When we open the sales order in client site through RDP, there is continuous flickering/refresh.
In in-house, we don't get that problem.
Please help me with this.

1.) button problem:
i don't know how you open the form - when you do it with a XML file maybe you packed the wrong XML file into your addon installer.
2.) the flickering can be a problem of formatted searches or interacting with other addons.
when addon a. changes a field it can be that addon b. does something because of the event from addon a.
the same can happen when you have formatted searches that do something when a field changes.

DispatchEvent not working in debug mode

I have a localconnection, and when I receive a message from
the local connection I dispatch an event. However, the dispatch
event does not work. I step into the code and go into some
Macromedia code for the "mx.events.EventDispatcher.dispatchEvent"
and "mx.events.EventDispatcher.dispatchQueue", and when I inspect
my variables the eventObj has both a target and a type set, but
when the code tries to access them through eventObj.target and
eventObj.type it returns null.
Also, this only happens in debug mode (Debug -> Debug
Movie) and not in test mode (Control -> Test Movie). In test
movie the exact same code works flawlessly.

FM not working in debug mode.

Function module : "LAGF_PROFIT_CENTER_GET" is basically meant to calculate the profit centre in ERP side.
On booking an order in CRM side this function module is called at ERP side to calculate Profit centre.
Problem is , normally this FM is working fine , but when i am in debug mode this FM is generating an error saying : Controlling object not found.
Can anyone please analyse this FM and let me know the reason.

Program running fine in Debug mode but failing in direct execution

Hi All,
I am facing a peculiar problem, I have created a report that create STO then Delivery and then Shipment one after one. I have used BAPI to do so. If STO creation is successful then Create Delivery and if delivery creation is also successfull then create Shipment.
When I run this program by pressing execute button it is only creating STO and coming out ,but if I run it in Debug mode I get all the three( STO, Delivey,Shipment). Since it run fine in debug so I can't found where the problem is.
Can any one help???

Hi guys,
A learning for me .... how important WAIt parmeter is in commit work .. Initially i have not set WAIT paramater in commit BAPI to X due to this further processing.. Delivery and Shipment creation was failing in direct execution ... as after STO creation I was reding EKPO and that was failing in direct execution , but in backgroung everything was ok.

Upload functin works in Edit mode but not in View mode

I am using the Oracle AS 10g PDK to integrate struts application into Portal. I found the upload function works fine in portlet edit mode, but it doesn't work in view mode (Go to the "The page cannot be found" and URL is "http://servername/portal/page"). Does anybody know the reason.
