Working in Debug mode, not after building the installation.

Hi,
I have a button to launch a form.
When I test it in debug mode, it works fine.
But, after making installation, if I do the same thing (press the button), I'm getting the following error:
Unexpected end of file while parsing name has occured. Line 1, position 2654.
Also, we have few add-ons operating on sales order.
When we open the sales order in client site through RDP, there is continuous flickering/refresh.
In in-house, we don't get that problem.
Please help me with this.
These are very critical issues for my release.

1.) button problem:
i don't know how you open the form - when you do it with a XML file maybe you packed the wrong XML file into your addon installer.
2.) the flickering can be a problem of formatted searches or interacting with other addons.
when addon a. changes a field it can be that addon b. does something because of the event from addon a.
the same can happen when you have formatted searches that do something when a field changes.

What error message if any did you get? It could be a couple things:
1. Did you include the Report Toolkit's dynamic vis in the app's build process?

2. How are you giving the path to you custom template, as a relative or an absolute path? The path will be different for the .exe. You have to strip twice.

iTunes STORE not “connectable” with my otherwise perfectly-working internet connection, viable, up and running for all other uses.
Simply put, firstly, I can't connect to the internet when I click on Radio. People are quite suspicious that this is Apple incompetence or your company's famous arrogance for this commonly-suffered problem that you won't or “can’t” fix.
Read the many web comments and you won’t be pleased with yourselves: the suspicion is that if you ruin internet radio on iTunes, Apple will somehow make more money on music downloads, etc. Bull.
Also, thirdly, my old playlist of 20 or so internet radio stations in the Ambient category STILL PLAYS !
Then fourth, I installed the latest available version of QuickTime Player 7.app Version 7.6.6 but it didn’t solve the problem either. I had QuickTime Player.app Version 10.2, but substituted what Apple website said was the latest, LOWER NUMBERED QuickTime Player version of 7.6.6
Fifth, I can't connect to iTunes store no matter what I do or what user group's advice I try. So I can’t buy or download anything from iTunes. Bad for business.
Sixth, I updated to the latest version of iTunes but this weird problem remains. All suggested Apple fixes or user group fixes are useless. Where is Apple’s famous technical competency, vaunted customer support?, and user-friendly product reputation? Get it back, please.
Solve this problem of yours ASAP for us, your numerous disgruntled, dissatisfied customers of iTunes. You can do better, should, and really –in all fairness- must.

Apple ACCOUNT ID, and iTunes ID password, works but not to access iTunes with my healthy internet connection.
Apple store id It works via direct internet connetion but not through iTunes. Very strange.

GPRM Button scripts work in Simulate, but not after burning

Hello everyone:
I have a question regarding GPRM-based buttons and scripting menu navigation. My scripts work perfectly in DVD Studio Pro's simulate mode, but after building and formatting a DVD, the scripts do not function properly on a set top box, in Apple DVD Player, or when playing from the Video TS folder. The scripts were based off of a tutorial by Hal MacLean at dvdstudiopro.co.uk.
Essentially, I have one track which is accessed via a Main Menu or a Chapters Menu. There is an animation that plays at the head of each menu, so menu has a loop point. The user should return to the correct screen, the correct button should be highlighted, and the menu should jump to the loop point. All of these things happen in simulate mode, but after burning, the loop point is ignored: The correct menu and buttons are highlighted, but the menu plays from the beginning. Here is how the project is laid out:
From the main menu, if the user chooses Play Movie, the following script plays:

From the main menu, if the user chooses Chapters, the following script plays:

Each of the chapter buttons is assigned to the start of a scene. The feature's menu call is assigned to the following script:

I was able to make the menus behave properly by writing the scripts this way:

Has anyone run into the same issues? Can anyone see any flaws in my scripts, or have any suggests? i would really appreciate any thoughts you all have. Thanks for your time!

Do you have any pre scripts atached to the menus? I was having the same problems as you and found that pre scripts and GPRMs don't play nice (at least in DSP). Removing the pre scripts solved my issue.

Embedding Flash swf in Google Site displays NaN output but works in Debug mode

Hello,
I am loading a text file with three variables into a flash file (CS5). The flash file then calculates and prints the three values based on some calculations. I am storing the text file as an attachment on the google page in which I am embedding the swf file. What's weird is that the flash file plays correctly in debugging mode (i.e., prints the 3 variables correctly), but as soon as I upload the swf to the Google site page (as an attachment in the same location as the text file), the flash file outputs NaN. I am stuck as to why the file works in debug mode in Flash, but not when it's uploaded to the google site page. I have tried storing the text file on SharePoint and referencing it from there, but I get the same results when viewing the swf on the Google site page.
Is it because the google site page is using SSL?
I am fairly new to flash, so any help would be appreciated.

When I put in the full URL to the attachment on the Google page (i.e., something similar to "myvars.load("https://sites.google.com/a/..../home/department-sites/sales/variables.txt,");" - instead of just "myvars.load("variables.txt");", it doesn't work. So right now its set to just "variables.txt" and the swf file is in the same root location as the variables.txt file on the Google page. I also have a copy of the variables.txt file in the same local directly in which I am running the flash file for testing. So I think when I run it in debug mode, its referencing the variables.txt file in the local directory, rather than the one stored as an attachment on the Google page.
That's what seems so weird...it runs locally in debug mode...but not when I embed it on the Google page. I can also get it to work if I explicity define the variables in the flash file, rather than rely on the external text file. That's the only time I can get it to work on the Google page.

Network Stream On PXI W/RTOS works in debug but not deployed

I have a new problem, recently my network streams have decided to not work.
I have a PXI with a 8102 controller running the NI RTOS, If I run the program on the PXI from in the development environment they work as expected, however if I build the exe and run as startup the communicating program times out, the target (PXI) is unresponsive.
This has work previously, we had a power outage and I had to re-format the PXI HD and re-install the RTOS, I do believe it is back to the original state before the power issue software wise, but as stated my network streams seem to be unresponsive as an app

any ideas? The fact that it work like a champ in debug, but not as an exe is very frustrating, especially since it was all working beautifully before the power outage.

The Sub VI is setting up and controlling the 2536 Switch and 6133 capture cards based on the command recieved by the Vi from the host program.
It also talks with the 7811
I thought that I was using slot numbers to reference the cards before the corruption, but now it is device numbers,.
I was playing around in MAX and it caused labview to crash if I tried to view the block diagram of the subvi.
I changed everything back in MAX and now the App is running - that is I can now establish a network stream with it and comunicate with the 7811, my data captures however seems to not be working and cause the PXI to go off in the weeds, the CPU loads go up and stay up and I can't re-establish the network streams without a reboot.
I just took a look at MAX while the PXI is in lala land, it has little red x's next to the 6133's and 2536

Boot off your *original* Install Disk while holding down the *d key*, (not c key), then run the extended Apple Hardware Test. Some disks require you to use the Option key at bootup to select AHT. Some models have a separate AHT CD. Some have it on the Disc #2.
The Memory test can really only be trusted if it finds a problem, not if it doesn't find a problem.

I found this strange glitch that wouldn't let me open my iTunes Store. I tried all the reset options and still iTunes would close a second after it opened. I fixed this. Instead of using the iTunes Store icon on your home page to open it. Go into music and click on store. It will say "Cannot Connect To Store". Just tap ok. Then tap on "featured" on the bottom of the screen. That will take you to the store front page. After that is loaded. Back out and the icon for iTunes Store on the home page should work just fine. Hope that helps.

I downloaded ODAC 10.2.0.2.21 from here:

And after extracting all files, I use this command on cmd:
setup.exe -silent -noconsole -waitforcompletion -force -responsefile <Path>
Furthermore, I have BOOTSTRAP=FALSE on oraparam.ini but setup.exe does not wait until the installation is done.
I only want a way to wait for the installation to complete...

Never heard of that being caused by installing iTunes. Try asking on a Windows forum. This isn't a problem with iTunes or any other Apple product. If you believe it is, uninstall iTunes. If the problem persists, you'll have to seek advice on a Windows forum or contact Microsoft for support.

remove your caps database. this shows the location for cs3. make the obvious changes for cs5.
