[Standalone Program] using peripherals in a standalone program

I'm trying to make a standalone program that should use sysmon for opensparc T1 in order to measure the temperature, how could i add the driver to my code? or how could i do that?

Kumar,
When we execute a program as a background job then the output will be sent to Spool which needs to be fetched again.I guess we need to use Submit via spool as mentioned by Rajat.

Hello All,
Background - Custom object is (for e.g. any report program) which I want to test is present on DEV system and required data (e.g. data that will be passed to selection screen fields of program) on Quality system.
Question -How to do testing of program using eCATT without transporting my program to Quality box? Please anyone can give me any insights on this to fix the data availability issue.
My efforts - Created System data container specifying RFC connection for Quality system. Created Test Data Container with data available on Quality box. Here, I specified target system as 'Quality' for the data. Created Test script (for SE38 tcode ) and did the parameterization(giving program name as parameter , other selection screen fields) and set the Target system for each parameter to QUALITY. Created Test Configuration specifying with all required parameters .
When I ran the test script from Test Configuration, test script started to run on Quality system. But failed saying program/object does not exist on quality box.
Importance - This is required as no data available on DEV box, need to move program/object to Quality system. Hence, multiple transort requests are created.

Yes, you are right. If I manually code the same amount of those components in the JSF pages instead of generating them dynamically, the server will still run out of memory. That is to say, JSF pages might not accommodate a great deal of concurrent visiting. If I upgrade the server to just allow 1,000 teachers making their own test papers at the same time, but when over 2,000 students take the same questionnaire simultaneously, the server will need another upgrading. So I have to do what you have told me, using JS+DOM instead of upgrading the server endlessly.

while you execute the program , a selection screen appears in which the inputs should be give as
RFC destination - The target server name
FTP command- PUT
local file - your file name
local directory - path of your local file
remote file - your target file name
remote directory - where it has to be stored

Cannot move [MOV filename]: It is in use by another person or program

Hello. I have recently installed version 7.41 of Quicktime for Windows (had the same problem with 7.4). What appears to be happening is that when I boot my computer, without opening any programs, if I go to a location where I have a MOV (Quicktime movie file) file, and try to cut and paste it to another folder it gives me the message:
Cannot move [MOV filename]: It is in use by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.
I have found by using some memory/file monitoring tools that EXPLORER.EXE is opening a handle to the file (accessing it for some reason) and then holding on to that handle thus not allowing me to move the file from one directory to another. By forcing the handles closed, it then allows me to move it, but then immediately maintains it open again, and cannot move it again.
This only happens with QuickTime MOV files. I have renamed the file to another format, just for kicks basically, and it works fine using another extension. I have also reassociated the MOV files with another app, but still has the same issues.
I have not run or any applications before this point and especially not anything related to QuickTime. Does anyone have any insight into what might be happening?

I am having the exact problem when I try to rename or move the MOV file. I use Unlocker to determine which process is locking the MOV file and like you have said: it is the Explorer process.
I hope there will be a patch for this problem soon and if you know of any solution, please inform me.

Crystal Export Tab Text (TTX) Not working correctly in program using Objects Driver XI

I have created a report in Crystal 2013 that I need to export as a tab delimited file for import into QuickBooks. If I run the export from within Crystal 2013, the export works fine. All the data is there delimited by tabs. Each field is set to "Can Grow".
The image in Excel shows I am in cell A3 and it has only one item in it TRNS, each field is in its own column.
We purchased software that uses the Business Objects XI Driver (the Crystal Redistributable program). When I run the program to export the data (the software only lets you export this report) and choose tab delimited, none of the data is delimited, it is all concatenated together in one big long string for each line.
If the data is longer than the field length in Crystal, the "Can Grow" option moves all the extra information to line 2, and all fields that had extra data and went to line 2 is concatenated together in one string. And if the data went to a line 3 it concatenated all the line 3 data together.
The image in Excel shows I am in cell A3 and it has everything on row 3 combined into one string, data that is not set to "Can Grow" is cut off like the date which is showing 6/13/20 (does not show the 14) and it continues to the 1100 (which is the General Ledger code, but cuts off "Account Payables"). The company name is set to "Can Grow". The company name is CASTS CAST SERVICES AND MACHINGING. You can see CASTS CAST on line 3 but the rest of the company name moves down to row 4 and 5.
If I export the file from the software as txt, I get the same thing as exporting it as tab delimited.
I cannot figure out why this is doing this.

Unfortunately CR XI is end of life and end of support so we can't get any patches to you, if one existed for this issue or not.
Only option is to ask them if they have an update to current supported CR Versions and runtime, CR 2011, 2013 and the runtime is CR for Visual Studio.
FYI, your TTX in the title is NOT the correct acronym to use because we had a legacy export type to ttx file format, it's no longer supported at runtime, so you you should refer to it as Tab Delimited and not TTX.

Unable to Run C Program using Xcode "Stop Executable"

Hi All
Have been using the Terminal to compile programs built through Xcode but now want to use Xcode itself. Everytime I press build and go it builds successfully but won't run. I found a tutorial that mentioned if you are using Xcode 3.0 (I am) you can't use build and run, for output, you have to go to run and then push console.Ok that works. I then found someone with the same issue as mine everytime you want to build and run it appears with another window saying "Stop Executable"They were told to make sure they were building the .c file in a project and not building it from a text editor and then importing. I always build new projects.
I want to interact with the program not just see its output? so my question is can I interact with programs i.e. User can enter data or strings or, do I have to build an interface to do this through Xcode. I Also forgotten to mention I found information through the forum that said to go to First Aid through utilities and repair file permissions, this has been done but still does not work. Many thanks for your time and as you can probably tell I am new to Xcode.

To run your command-line program in Xcode, open the debugger console by choosing Run > Console. Run your program by choosing Run > Run or Build > Build and Run. You'll have to build and run if you haven't compiled the program before. Your program will run, and you will see output in the console. You interact with the program from the console.
If you're not able to enter input in the console, choose Run > Sync with Debugger. If doing that doesn't work, you can run your program in the Terminal application by double-clicking the program from the Finder. It's less convenient than running it in Xcode, but you'll at least be able to run the program and interact with it.

I've a program which creates a background job using JOB_OPEN and JOB_CLOSE function modules.
Between the above function modules I need to call a program using SUBMIT VIA JOB statement.
My problem is, How do I fetch some data in an internal table in the called program to the calling program after the SUBMIT statement?
I tried to EXPORT and IMPORT the data, but they are giving a failed sy-subrc when using this background job.
Kindly let me know your inputs and valuable suggestions.

When we execute a program as a background job then the output will be sent to Spool which needs to be fetched again.I guess we need to use Submit via spool as mentioned by Rajat.

How do i open and control other programs using labview?

I'm presently trying to use labview to try to open and operate another program,but having much difficulty.The external program i'm using is called the Foundation program.
This Foundation program will use VHDL programming to create a virtual chip and then synthesising it.This program will then simulate the output of this VHDL program to verify that it is working as desired.Then the last stage is to download the whole VHDL program into a FPGA chip using a xilinx cable.
All this need to be done using a labview program - to open the Foundation program and then extract the saved file and then to execute the download command to cause the VHDL program to be downloaded onto the FPGA chip.How do i go
about doing all this?What is the first step i must do.Also all this have to be done thru networking..looks like its too difficult..I really need help.

I haven't done VHDL so pardon my ignorance.
LabVIEW can call external DLL via "Call Library Function" or C programs via "Code Interface Node", both located in "Advanced" function.
If your program is a DOS program, use "System Exec.vi" found in "Communication" function. If you need to format your DOS command prior to sending it, use the "Format Into String" function in "String" function palette.
Lastly, if you're trying to extract data, assuming it is text, use "File I/O" functions. If the data is binary, use "File I/O -> Binary File VIs".

When I try to open an embedded PDF file I get an error "The program used to create this object is AcroExch.exe.

When I try to open an embedded PDF file (Word doc) I get an error "The program used to create this object is AcroExch.exe. That program is either not installed on your computer, or is corrupt..." I've tried about everything from unchecking
protected mode at startup to removing & reinstalling Adobe. Nothing seems to fix this issue. Any other ideas?
This is happening on Adobe reader 9, 10 & 11 with MS Word 2010 & 2013. I've uninstalled, cleaned & reinstalled Reader 9, 10 & 11, as well as Acrobat 10 Pro & 11 Standard. Removed "Protected mode at startup, and changed
the default program for viewing from reader to Acrobat. This will not go away. It is affecting production at our company.

" Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder" . i can't find open containing folder in profile directory. it does give me the option to open the places.sqlite file using graphic converter. when i try that, graphic converter gives me a window saying that it can't be opened because it is corrupted or is not a file type supported by graphic converter.
i appreciate your help with a workaround to get the old bookmarks. that works. however, the problem has morphed from that concern to why adobe reader [the default app.] won't open firefox .sqlite files. is the problem in adobe reader or firefox? also, how can i tell if the places.sqlite file is corrupt?

How can I use HTTP authorization in my program?

I'm writing full-featured proxy server in Java and want to require users to provide login and password and then use their login-name internally to provide different permissions, different quotas, etc... for different users. How can I do that with Java? I prefer to use standard HTTP method for this (classic pop-up login/password dialog in client browser). This is typical solution for all password-protected proxies.
This question sounds so simple... How to popup a standard dialog asking for login/password in client browser and get its values for farther processing. But I googled for the solution and found nothing. In the Internet, there is a lot of information about how I can use password-protected proxy but none about how I can write one myself with Java.

I'm writing a proxy. It has different settings for each user so it must recognize user name and password. Of course, user want to use a browser or other program (possibly another proxy - for example Proxomitron or Privoxy to filter banners and ads) to make requests via my proxy. Browser (not my proxy) should pop-up a dialog asking for a login and password if my proxy server will require authorization. Of course not every program will pop-up a dialog: for example in case of Privoxy or Proxomitron user must provide login and password for parent proxy. In this example "parent proxy" is my proxy. Question is: how I can request HTTP authorization (by sending Proxy-Authenticate) and handle the input? Is there any standard API for that in Java?
There is big difference between standard HTTP authorization and custom pop-up dialog or custom web-interface login page. In first case user can use standard settings in his/her program/browser to provide password automatically (in this case user just need to enter his/her password once). HTTP authorization is the standard. My proxy need to handle Proxy-Authorization request-header field.
The Proxy-Authorization request-header field allows the client to identify itself (or its user) to my proxy which (should be able to) require authentication. The Proxy-Authorization field value consists of credentials containing the authentication information of the user agent for the proxy and/or realm of the resource being requested.
So more complete question would be: is there standard API or third-party API in Java for requesting Proxy-Authorization field from a client and process its values (for example: if password and login is correct then user is allowed to use the proxy; if not user will be asked for login and password again).
If someone knows proxy server (with source code in Java) which can use standard password protection this will be good answer to my question too.
Unfortunately it seems that I will need to write account-management code for my proxy myself. Oh, this isn't too hard but for C/C++ there is a lot of examples and ready-to-use pieces of code which I can use immediately. This is why I'm asking here this question: before I will write HTTP authorization class in Java from scratch I want to make sure there is no "ready-to-use piece of code". I don't want to "reinvent the wheel".
For now, I even cannot find a proxy server with Java source code with ability to use standard password protection to prevent access for non-authorized users. So I'm asking here if there is ready-to-use API (class) for doing HTTP authorization or I need to write one myself.
