    Hi,
    You can define your own PF-STATUS and in that assign the function code for BACK button anything except 'BACK'.
    The code would somewhat look like this:
    SET PF-STATUS 'TEST'.
    write : itab-col1,
               itab-col2.
    in the PF-STATUS 'TEST', assign the function code to BACK button as 'BCK'.
    Now in your program you can use the event AT USER-COMMAND.
    In this you can handle the functionality of BACK button.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi badz lee,

  • Handle back button in standard tcode .

    I am doing a BDC on standard tcode MEMASSPO which displays the 3rd screen directly of the tcode.
    Now problem is when I press the BACK button on this screen it takes me to the previous screen of the same tcode.

    Please help me.......

    Hi,
    You can do it by appending (at the end of the BDC data) the exit actions when the screen X (the one you get after the BACK button has been pressed) is reached.
    As you run the BDC with mode 'E', it will stop the BDC data when SAP sees that screen X from the BDC data is not the screen currently displayed. Then, if the user displays later the screen X, SAP continues to execute the BDC data from screen X.
    This topic is shortly described here: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/BatchInputFAQ#BatchInputFAQ-IsitpossibletosimulateANDSKIPFIRSTSCREENusingBDC%3F

  • Problem displaying drill down STANDARD ALV for a particular record after pressing back button

    I have a simple interactive ALV grid report. NOT 'OO'. It display correctly on initial execution. AT the moment, 6 records. I want it to work such that if i click record '1', a drill-down version of that ALV with only that one record clicked is displayed. This currently occurs correctly. The problem arises when i click the back button and want to click on a new record, say in the 2nd row..this new 2nd row record is not displayed. The first one is displayed again. I tried clearing and fiddling around but then the last record is displayed. I have used the 'ID' field as a 'hotspot' getting picked up by sy-tabindex. Maybe it could be that i shouldn't loop and use  a work area e.g in my select statement. i'm not so sure i've looked around, and tried a few things. I can't get it right yet. My code is below:

    Hi Ten Mariga,
                     I wonder why the second select Query is needed at all instead you can use
    ---> Not Needed
    FORM DATA_RETRIEVAL1.
    SELECT * FROM zcontact INTO TABLE it_zcontact WHERE id EQ wa_zcontact-id.
    ENDFORM.
    ----> Instead you can do
       READ TABLE it_zcontact INTO wa_zcontact INDEX p_seltab-tabindex.
      Append wa_zcontact to Second_table.
    And you can use the Second_table to display the second ALV. The second Select Query will affect the performance too.
    Cheers,

  • Wrong folder pressing back button

    Hi gurus,
    we are facing a problem with a custom button on the standard transaction IL03.
    On the transaction we have created years ago a custom folder with a custom button that brings to another custom dynpro. When you access to this custom dynpro and press the back button you come back to the custom folder.
    Now we have to add a new custom button on the custom folder using the same flow, but when we press the back button from the new custom dynpro we are not able to come back to the same custom folder, instead the system brings us back to the first standard folder of IL03, mantaining the title of the custom folder but inserting the standard fields of the first folder.
    We used this code to call the program:
          SUBMIT xxxxxxxxxx WITH xxxxxxxxxxxx  AND RETURN.
    and in the xxxxxxxxxxx program we used this form
      IF SY-UCOMM = 'BACK' OR
        SY-UCOMM = 'STOP'.
        SET SCREEN 0.
    but it seems not to work properly.
    Someone can help us?
    Thank you!
    Edited by: silfabb on Aug 1, 2011 11:50 AM

    Hi silfabb,
    replace the code section
    IF SY-UCOMM = 'BACK' OR
    SY-UCOMM = 'STOP'.
    SET SCREEN 0.
    with new code
    CLEAR SY-UCOMM.

  • Back button does not work, links are no longer coloured/underlined

    I'm running a Mac OSX 10.5.8
    While pages load well, several perfectly normal features don't seem to function. The "back" button is shaded out and unusable after you have arrived at a web page, and you need to have another tab open to switch between to activate it. Same thing with forward. Also most standard links on web pages are no longer colored and underlined, though the option for that has been selected in the preferences. Links still function, but they are in black without underline and are thus difficult to distinguish from other text. The cursor also becomes the text-editing cursor rather than the hand cursor when you hover over a link.

    Extensions that may '''interfere with the Back Button''' that are already listed in [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions Problematic extensions] as creating other problems
    *McAfee Site Advisor (update perhaps 3rd week July 2011)
    *Yahoo Toolbar (https://support.mozilla.com/questions/845691)
    I would also disable the extension you mentioned until your problem is solved with the Back Button.

  • Insert forms and the back button

    Hi,
    I have a page that is transparent to the user and does a
    standard DW insert
    using ASP. It uses <body
    onLoad="document.form1.submit()"> to do this.
    The user clicks on a link, this page does the insert, and
    then they are
    redirected to a results page.
    The problem is if they click on the back button from the
    results page the
    insert happens again and they end up on the results page
    again.
    If they click on the back button I want them to go back to
    the first page
    with the link (and obviously not do the insert).
    How can I do this?
    tia
    -Joe

    Jo,
    How about putting in a <<back link yourself for the
    user to click that takes them to the page you want.

  • Report S_PL0_86000030 - G/L Account Balance - Back button Issue

    Hi
    We are on ECC 5.0 and when we click on the BACK button, from the report display it straight way goes back to SAP standard  screen (both when we save or do not). It does not go back to the selection screen of the report.
    I searched OSS and could not find any possible resolution.
    Could anybody know how this can be fixed? Any patch?
    Thanks,
    Surajit

    This can be achieved by clicking on Characterstic Key & Name - both option under Settings --> Characterstic Display (you can get these options if you run the report under Classical Drilldown mode)
    Also if you can just change the same thing in the report layout - it will be permanent - Transaction FGI0.
    Thanks,
    Surajit

  • Custom error message for Back Button Error

    I am using JDeveloper 9. I have tried to create a custom error message to handle a "Back button" press.
    But the error message is usually ignored and the system's regular "Stale data" message appears. Is there a way to prevent the system's message from appearing and to raise a custom error message?

    Do the following coding in your processRequest() of the Create or udpate page.
    public void processRequest(OAPageContext pageContext, OAWebBean webBean)
    super.processRequest(pageContext, webBean);
    // If isBackNavigationFired = false, we're here after a valid navigation
    // (the user selected the Create button) and we should proceed
    // normally and initialize a new employee.
    if (!pageContext.isBackNavigationFired(false))
    // We indicate that we are starting the create transaction (this
    // is used to ensure correct Back button behavior). Note that you
    // can assign whatever name you want to your transaction unit.
    TransactionUnitHelper.startTransactionUnit(pageContext, "empCreateTxn");
    // This test ensures that we don't try to create a new employee if
    // we had a JVM failover, or if a recycled application module
    // is activated after passivation. If these things happen, BC4J will
    // be able to find the row that you created so the user can resume
    // work.
    if (!pageContext.isFormSubmission())
    OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
    // Call your method to handle creating the new row.
    am.invokeMethod("createEmployee", null);
    else
    if (!TransactionUnitHelper.isTransactionUnitInProgress(pageContext, "empCreateTxn", true))
    // Get the purchase order number from the request.
    String orderNumber = pageContext.getParameter("headerId");
    MessageToken[] tokens = { new MessageToken("PO_NUMBER", orderNumber)};
    OAException message = new OAException("ICX", "FWK_TBX_T_PO_UPDATE_CONFIRM", tokens,
    OAException.CONFIRMATION, null);
    // We got here through some use of the browser "Back" button, so we
    // want to display a state loss error and disallow access to the page.
    // If this were a real application, we would probably display a more
    // context-specific message telling the user they can't use the browser
    // "Back" button on the "Create" page. Instead, we wanted to illustrate
    // how to display the Applications standard NAVIGATION_ERROR message.
    OADialogPage dialogPage = new OADialogPage(message);
    pageContext.redirectToDialogPage(dialogPage);
    } // end processRequest()
    --Prasanna

  • When I click "back" button selection screen is not appearing

    Dear All,
    1) I have a "report" which takes some parameteres in the seclection screen ( standard 1000 ) and displayes a report. This is transported. Say the name is ZPRG1
    2) We have copied ZPRG1 to ZPRG_temp and modified some logic and copied back to ZPRG1.
    3) All looks fine but in ZPRG1 in SE80 it is not displaying screen "1000" listed. And when I pressed "back" button from the standard report menu it is going into "blank" screen first. and then when i click again it comes to the selection screen. I understand that some thing happened with GUI stuff but ran out of all ideas and coming here to get some help from you..
    I am almost in a lost state.. can you please suggest me?
    Thanks for your time.

  • Sometimes the url's don't update so when you press the "back button" it sends you to the home page instead of the last page visited

    A friend of mine has this webblog and I have never had problems viewing it before I downloaded the new version of firefox. However, once I downloaded the new version, I noticed that every time I press the "back button" after viewing a picture, it sends me back to the blog home page instead of the last page I was on or that I viewed. This also happens with some of the standard websites I visit not just the blogs.

    Right click the Back button and select the page you want to go back to.

    Hi All,
    We are implementing OCI using custom BSP applications.In EBP SC screen ,in step1 (Select Goods/Services), the links for these BSP applications are displayed.
    The user can create a shopping cart using these applications , after the items are transfered from BSP to SC on standard  EBP screen , in step2
    there are four buttons ,
    1)Refresh
    2)Check
    3)Back
    4)Continue.
    We need to call one of our custom BSP applications on click of  this BACK button
    How can i acchieve the same?
    Do i need to make changes in the standard ITS application or thers some other way?
    Thanks,
    Anubhav.

    To call a wd abap application from BSP use the method CL_WD_UTILITIES=>CONSTRUCT_WD_URL then just create a link in bsp with the url returned like this:
    <a href="url">Link</a>
    To pass data from wd abap to bsp or vice versa that a look at this blog: /people/koen.labie2/blog/2006/11/29/eating-cookies-with-webdynpro-and-bsp
