Standard Behaviour of Due Date in UWL for SRM Workitems

We have a deployment of Enterprise Portal which is integrated to SAP SRM (7.02). I have two  queries regarding the standard behaviour of "Due Date" column in UWL:
1. The column always displays today as the due date for all shopping carts, irrespective of delviery date. I would like to know whether this is an issue and also would be helpful if you elaborate on how is this calculated.
2. The column is showing blank for any workitems other than shopping carts (Purchase Order change workitem, User change approvals, Invoice approvals etc.)
Thanks

Dear ArulPrakash
I hope you are well and many thanks for using the SAP Discussion Forums .
With reference to the scenario that you have described you mentioned the following:
You have a deployment of Enterprise Portal which is integrated to SAP SRM (7.02). You have two  queries regarding the standard behaviour of "Due Date" column in UWL:
The column always displays today as the due date for all shopping carts, irrespective of delviery date. You would like to know whether this is an issue and also would be helpful if you elaborate on how is this calculated.
The column is showing blank for any workitems other than shopping carts (Purchase Order change workitem, User change approvals, Invoice approvals etc.)
Ok regarding your queries kindly let me attempt to provide some clarification and oversight.
Firstly in terms of the column and the fact it displays todays date as the due date (irrespective of the actual delivery date).  Now from a broad level overview perspective it is possible to change the display of the due date in the UWL.  In the standard xml file you will see the following: <DisplayAttribute name="dueDate" type="date" width="" sortable="yes" format="medium" referenceBundle="due_date" hAlign="LEFT" vAlign="BASELINE" maxTextWidth="0" headerVisible="yes"/> The medium format refers to the output of the field displaying the date as follows: Jun 01, 2014. The short format refers to the output of the field displaying the date as follows: 06/01/14.The long format refers to the output of the field displaying the date as follows: June 01, 2014. The full format refers to the output of the field displaying the date as follows: Tuesday, June 01, 2014. I've attached some reference documentation below for further reference on both your queries.
Secondly regarding the blank columns for workitems. Here the first thing which needs to be ensured is that SAP Note: 1133821 - UWL Destination Service configuration is followed and setup accordingly in terms of configuration settings and parameters. Now you mention that this is occuring for another other item other than shopping carts? Are custom attributes involed here? Could you please have a look at the help document below to check the bahavior of retrieving custom attributes in UWL? http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/ef/f2aed99c414f81adacc6b897a6910a/content.htm

  • Due date in UWL in SRM7

    Hello everybody,
I just would like to know what is the Due Date in the Universal Work List in SRM7?
    What is its utility?
    Thank you very much.
    François-Xavier BESSON

    Hi,
UWL in NetWeaver Portal is not only for SRM.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/EN/50/f5b3e1ad524c54a94fa768a648e232/frameset.htm
The Universal Worklist enables SAP portal users to manage their work by bringing together assignments from different workflow systems, including:
    ·        Workflow
    ·        Alerts
    ·        Knowledge Management (KM) notifications
    ·        Collaboration Tasks
The Universal Worklist is used as the central access point to tasks, alerts, notifications. You can access the UWL to manage and track your tasks.
If you get some due date for SRM workitem, I guess it is one of deadline ( latest start, requested end, latest end ).

  • Setting Guided Procedure Task Due date in UWL

    All,
Currently UWL is configured to show the tasks related to GP.
My question is how do we set the "Due Date" in UWL task View ( remember i am not talking about Due Date tab in GP). I want that the task that gets posted in UWL should have a due date. Now i have configured the Due date for the action(in Due date tab) but i don't see it when i login in UWL for this particular task.
    Help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi George,
    I need some help.
My scenario is to set Duedate in run time to a Action.
    Like:
    Action1->Action2
I am setting a Duedate Notification for Action2.I am selecting Type of DueDate Notification as Date and selected some date.I need to change this Duedate Notification Date in runtime through context data
    of Webdynpro CO
    I am approaching as follows:
1)Created a Background CO (I wrote a logic to change the duedate and I achieved it)
2)Assigned this Background CO to Action2 Notification(On Assign).
I checked in NWA the duedate of the action is changed. But in UWL screen its showing same old DueDate.
Please guide me in a correct way.
I will be very thankful to you If any suggestions.

  • Change due date in receivables for credit check

    Hi Sappers!!
Scenario: When SAP performs a credit check for a customer we need that pending receivables
(open items) for this customer which have a concrete payment method, don't use due date
for calculation, instead we want to use invoice date for carrying out the credit check
    calculation.
Is that posible? Is there any user-exit where we can change this date to be used during
credit check control for documents which fulfill this requirement?
We don't want to change permanently the due date for this kind of documents, we only need to take another date into account when performing credit control.
Thanks so much in advance & best regards

Thanks so much for your quickly answer.
Creating a new payment term is not a valid solution because, we don't want to change any date in the financial document. We just only need to use another data only for credit check. Here you have a concrete example:
Invoice created with invoice date 01/12/2009
    Payment method confirming 90 days.
    Base line calculated: 01/03/2010
If we create a new sales order, this open item will not be considered exceeded because due date is still in the future.
We want to consider it as exceeded and the due date would be 01/12/2009 but only for credit check. This "new" due date must not be stored anywhere.
Thanks so much once again & best regards

  • Baseline Date for Due Date Calculation required for S/L indicators

    Hello,
    Iu2019m facing the following problem
Iu2019m trying to insert an invoice (using a customer master record) but the system blocks me because the field ZFBDT (Baseline Date for Due Date Calculation) is a Required entry.
The strange thing is  that if I use a S/L indicators the field is mandatory, if not the date may be defaulted.
I checked in OB41 but there are non differences between Special PK and normal PK.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance
    Alberto

    Dear Alberto,
the field "Due On (BSEG-ZFBDT)" cannot be controlled with field status.
It is controlled by field attribute of screen painter (Tcd: SE51).  If
you look at element attribute for "Due On" field, a flag for required
entry is activated.  In this case, field status has no control over
    the field.
As of release 3.1G, field BSEG-ZFBDT is hardcoded in most FI screens
to be mandatory and cannot be influenced by any field status
changes. This situation is only valid when posting with special G/L
    indicator (ie PK 29/39).
SAP development team has determined that this is a critical field.  The
reason behind this is that this special GL screen and the data entered
here are very important to many other programs. This data affects
liabilities and receivables where due date is necessary almost
everytime. Thus, we changed this field in this screen in order to
prevent problems in many other areas. The reason is explained further
    in note 95079.
    I hope this helps You.

  • CRM 5.0 - IC WebClient - Due Date - Working Hours for Service Ticket

    Hi Gurus
We're using a Service Ticket Transaction which has a Date Profile which provides a 48 Hour window for which the user must complete the Service Ticket Resolution.
The issue is I want to tie this up to the Business working Hours. I just cannot figure out where I define the Business Working Hours.
This is a Standalone CRM Implementation. Maximum points for the right answer.
    Many Thanks
    Panduranga

    Hi,
The response time of 48 Hours must be maintianed in response profile... right?
Similarly there is a availability profile in which you maintain the business hours/ availablity of your resources.
These both together make a service profile.
The availability profile is maintained in SAP Easy Access> Service> Service Contracts and Service Plans --> CRMD_SERV_SLA - Maintain Availability and Response Times
    Hope this will help

  • Confirmation tasks in UWL for SRM 7.0

    Hi,
We are currently running SRM 7.0 classic scenario.  We would like to have a user's confirmations display in the UWL.  From this we would like to be able to use the "Substitute" function of the UWL to assign the task to a different user.  Does anyone know if this is possible and how we can get the confirmation work item to display in the user's UWL?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Hello Jeffrey,
First, check workflow log status for your business object using SWI1 transaction to be sure WI is waiting for approval
Then, check WI is inside user's Business Work Place ( SBWP transaction): if yes, there is a connection problem between SRM and your Portal or Portal settings are not correct.
    Regards.

  • Configure UWL for SRM business workflow..

    All,
This is something new to me, I am trying to integrate SRM workflow system and UWL iView in Portal.
What are the configurations I need to do? Any step-by-step instructions??
    Appreciate your help.
    Thank you, John Miller

    Thanks Rajendra,
I did the configurations as you mentioned, seems like it's working
Is there a possibility to modify the UWL iVIew, so the End Users can approve/reject multiple items at once?
Something like providing radio buttons for approval/rejection for each item in the UWL iVIew?
    Thanks, John

  • Manual input for Date offset Buckets in Due date analysis 0FIAR_C03

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where i need to provide a manual input selection to fill offset values of dates for due date analysis.
For example, current standard report 0FIAR_C03_Q0005 provides data with buckets of 0 days, 1-30 days, 31-60 and so on. Instead of this we need to define this bucket as manual input field and based on that the due date report should fetch the data like as if a user enters 7, 14, 21, 28 and so on till last option as 999 in 6 to eight variables provided than the report should come in buckets of 0-7, 8-14, 15-21 and so on.
How can i achieve this with BEx.
    -Kushal

I'm considering you are running this report on a daily basis. Under this assumption, you may create a Key Date Varaible in BEx Query Designer. SAP BEx offers a very useful concept called Key Date. Purpose of Key Date is to execute your report as of today's date (sy-datum) based on a variable. You may create variables also on 'Key Date' & use this variable as subsequent your offsets in the row/col structure. This gives you a better leverage from ABAP side. For such bucket scenarios, your defined variable will give you option to choose input date which can be customized to choose sy-datum as the current date.
There's no necessity for user to define bucket limits for each level. As per the statements, its obvious the values are multiple of ZOFFSET (The offset provided by users). We can use a simple Customer Exit Variable. We need to first capture the value of ZOFFSET:7. Using CMOD, we can write the custom exit returning a value which gives the bucket range. Another input also must be passed to the exit program to capture 'How many lines you need to process/iterate?'. Say, you create a small formula variable to capture the # of slabs: ZSLABS.  I've just written a basic skeleton. Pls. incorporate your requirements as necessary.
    CASE I_VNAM
    WHEN 'XXXX'.
         IF I_STEP=2 +(i.e.after popup!)+
READ TABLE I_T_VAR_RANGE INTO L_S_RANGE WITH KEY VNAM='ZOFFSET'.
    FOR (ZTEMP_I=0; Z_TEMP_1 <= ZSLABS; ZTEMP_I++)
         IF SYSUBRC=0
              CLEAR L_S_RANGE.
              L_S_RANGE-LOW = LOC_VAR_RANGE-LOW(8).      +This is YYYYMMDD+
                        ZOFF_PREV = L_S_RANGE-LOW + 1.
              ZOFFSET = ZOFFSET * ZTEMP_I.
                   IF(ZOFFSET) IS INITIAL.
                        L_ST_RANGE-HIGH = SY-DATUM.
                        L_S_RANGE-LOW+6(2) = ZOFFSET.          +Just filter only DD from YYYYMMDD+
                   ELSE
                        L_ST_RANGE-HIGH = ZOFF_PREV.
                        L_S_RANGE-LOW+6(2) = ZOFFSET.
                   ENDIF.
              L_S_RANGE-SIGN='I'.
              L_S_RANGE-OPT ='B'.
              APPPEND L_S_RANGE TO E_T_RANGE.
END FOR +(Not sure about For loops; but you may similar logic using normal do/while loops too...)+
    ENDCASE
There may be a few errors in code. Pls. review them & let me know your comments.
    Typos regretted. Thanks!

  • New Due date for reversed Invoice

    Hi Experts,
Can we determine a new due date for reversed invoice through standard configuration? The due date of reversed invoice remains the same as that of the original invoice even if its reversed after a year. It looks very odd that a FICA entry has a due date of past.
I tried by assigning the out-going payment term to the FICA payment term configuration but it doesnot determines a new due date from the posting date I provide during invoice reversal.
    Any Clue ?
    Regards
    Satyajeet

    Hi Satyajeet,
As per standard SAP, the due date of a particular invoice is derived from the date you are posting it in SAP and the payment terms configured in the contract account master, irrespective of the fact that whether it is a cancel-rebilled invoice or a normal invoice.
So if a invoice is posted on 05.08.2011 and the payment terms mantained at the CA master is 5 days then the due date will be on 10.08.2011.
The due date of a invoice is determined in event R417. Check if any custom FM is assigned in there which is changing the standard SAP functionality.
Also check event 1330, which gets called from event R417 to determine the due date.
    Hope it helps.....
    Thanks,
    Amlan

  • Due date is not showing up in UWL

    Hi ,
Due date is not showing up in UWL. Back end is ECC not GP Just regular work flow.
I can see in workflow object end date kind. But the field is blank. For due date any additional configuration needed.
    I really appreciate your help.
    Regards
    Mark

    Hi,
As far as I remember correctly, the Due Date in UWL is the Requested End date in the workflow. So basically you need to open the workflow in backend in WF builder and look at the step. There is a tab for setting different deadlines and stuff. If you do the settings there (for example set the requested end in 3 days), I think that work item will display the due date based on that data.

  • Recurring document - FBD1 with incorrect due-date calculation for AP

    Hi Gurus,
in our ECC 6.0 system we are creating with F.14 FI-documents (SAPF120) based on recurring documents (created with FBD1) for various purposes (e.g. Recurring entries for IC-business).
Therefore it's important that the system provides in the final processing of the recurring documents the correct net-due-date in the AP-document based on the document date and the payment term included in the AP-masterdata (LFB1-ZTERM).
    Problem:
The processed FI-document contains the correct payment term but the calculated net-due-date with regards to the document date (BKPF-BLDAT) isn't correct. A Dummy-Update of the FI-document with FB02 on field BSEG-ZTERM provides finally the correct net due date but this a not recommended solution.
Any ideas how to solve that issue???
    Thanks for replies.
    BR, Bernd

    Hi Vishnu,
    the defined payment term is
    fix day: 15
    additional month: 1.
Default for baseline date is posting date
Therefore the expectation is that net due date is calculated for posting date
    e.g. : 01.02.2012 to 15.03.2012.
The line item after processing in FI-document shows :
    Posting Date : 01.02.2012
    Bline Date:   01.02.2012
    Days/percent: 35
    Net due date: 07.03.2012 (dd.mm.yyyy)
That's wrong according to my understanding of the payment term definition.
    BR, Bernd

  • Is there a way to create a due date in Reminders on the iPhone like you can in iCal, rather than just a reminder?

I realized that I can create due dates on iCal for tasks that sink to my reminders (so I am still reminded of a task, but also know when it NEEDS to be done). The problem is when I try to create a new task in reminders on the iPhone, it only gives me the option to set a time to remind me. I understand that this is the point on the app, but if it is going to sync with iCal, it should have the same functionality. I am curious if there is something I am overlooking.

I don't think so.  Reminders is very limited app.

  • Open Custom PCR forms (created using ISR framework) from UWL for approval

    Hi,
I have made a custom JSP iview using the ISR framework .
The form can be submitted and a notification is created.
The Workflow is generating the workitem wihich appears in the
    UWL worklist.
HOw can i open the custom JSP iview from the UWL for the workitem.

    Hi Phil,
Interesting - I have a similar issue.  We want to use the Request for Transfer scenario in ERP 2005, but it has not been developed in Adobe forms by SAP yet (it isn't available in 2004 either)!  So, we have decided to use the old JSP PCRs instead.
Your issue is probably because you're using the same 2005 iviews to create your PCRs.  The 2005 PCR iviews are written in WebDynpro, and appear to assume that each one will be an Adobe form!  If you assign the old PCR iviews to your manager (give them the old MSS role under Migrated Content->EP5.0... in the pcd if you have it installed), you will be able to create a PCR with the JSP forms (regardless of the "Entry in Web" setting in QISRSCENARIO).
The next issue is the approval.  In 2005, transaction SWFVISU has task TS50000075 configured as Java Webdynpro.  You'll need to change that to iView, and specify ID = com.sap.pct.hcm.isrdispatcher.default.  I'm following the UWL item type guide for this at:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/b1/cc1357eead454bb144face4a66be7d/content.htm
Having said this, my approval is not working!  The item type has clearly changed, because the workitem name is no longer a hyperlink (rather annoying), but when I hit the "Launch Task Page" button (default name I think) I get the error:
"Unable to perform action because the system returned an invalid URL"
I can't see this "invalid url" anywhere in the logs, so I can't see where it is getting it from, or what path, etc I'm meant to put!  In your old system, what did you have as the "Server for ISR call" under "Additional Data for Scenario" in QISRSCENARIO?  Also, what did you have in the "URL" box that appears under the Additional Data for Scenario button when you change the Entry Type to JSP?
    Many thanks,
    Russell.
