Stationery appears incomplete for Outllok users

I'm using mac mail 3.6 stationery templates to send some business emails. But it seems that some of my clients (windows/outlook users) aren't receiving the emails the proper way. It appears incomplete, specially in the middle of the message (where I write the information).
Any ideia?

Try using the find or locate Terminal commands to determine where the files are; the find command offers more options, while the locate command is faster but requires that the locate database is up to date.
The locate database is updated with the locate.updatedb command, which doesn't search network volumes by default.
In either case, you will need to know the name of one item stored in that account's home folder; if you're unsure, start with com.apple.finder.plist followed by identifying the correct line of the output.

    We have several network drives mapped via a batch file at log in.  On one particular Windows 7 computer one of these drives maps but appears empty.  Manually mapping to the drive and assigning a different drive letter makes no difference but manually
    mapping by entering the IP address allows viewing and accessing the contents.  
    The malfunctioning network drive is also using Hosted BranchCache.  The following settings are set in local group policy:
    (\Network\BranchCache)
    Turn on BrancheCache - Enabled
    Set BranchCache Hosted Cache Mode - Enabled - <servername>
    Configure BranchCache for network files - Enabled - 0
    The servers involved are running Windows Server 2012.
    I am at a loss here and will appreciate any suggestions.

    With Offline Files disabled the contents of the mapped drive are visible and accessible.  Unfortunately, Offline Files must be enabled for BranchCache to work.  
    Looking in the Event Viewer at “Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\OfflineFiles\Operational” I can see that the mapped network drive transitioned to slow link during high latency but has never transitioned back.

  • Some asset classes do not show up for a user in S_ALR_87011990

    When the asset history sheet is run in S_ALR_87011990, a user is unable to display some asset classes in the report. This was referred to security team. They say that everything looks fine and nothing appears wrong for that user--roles and profiles ok etc.,. No worklists are being used and no variants are being used. No dynamic selections either.
    Can someone let me know why the user is unable to display some asset classes. Asset classes that the user is unable to display were created last year. Most users are able to display these asset classes in the report except this user.
    Please  help and provide some exact solution.

    most probably it is a authorization problem.
    Please compare the assets which are not shown with this user. It could be a cost center.

  • Stop Mounted Spareseimages from appearing for other users

    I have several user accounts on my Mac. Each ones does automated backups to a dedicated sparseimage file.
    In other words, I have user accounts Tom, Mary, and Joe. I have a mounted network share for each user, Tom, Mary, and Joe. So when Joe logs in, Joe's network share is automatically mounted for him. That part works great.
    In each network share, there's a sparseimage that each person backs up to. So Mary's home folder is backed to a sparseimage file on Mary's Network share. The same goes for Tom and Joe.
    All of this is working great.
    The only problem is this: If Joe is logged in, and his account is backing up, then his sparseimage file would be mounted on his desktop. (That's how it should be.) However, if while Joe is logged in and backing up, he steps away from the computer, and Mary logs in, Joe's mounted sparseimage will appear on Mary's desktop and she has full access to his backed up data.
    If Joe has mounted a sparseimage, why does it appear on any other user's desktop who logs in? Why do they have access to it?
    Once Joe is finished with his backup and the sparseimage is closed, it (correctly) disappears from all desktops.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    sparseimage volumes mount like external hard drives. All users can see their contents. To restrict access to only one user, use the same procedure for doing this for an external hard drive: right click the mounted volume, Get Info, and change the permissions so that only the users you want have access.

  • PDF created in ArcView does not appear the same for all users

    PDF documents created from ArcView 9.2 with the "warm front 2" symbol in it do not appear properly on some users computer displays when opened. I have a handful of users who when they view these specific PDF's the symbol appears as a series of 4's. We are using Acrobat Pro 7.0.9 and all systems are running Windows XP Pro. In the handful of users experiencing this problem we have both laptops and desktops.

    Probably did not embed the fonts in the PDF. Change the settings file to print (or press) and try again.

    We are on SRM 4.0 classic scenario.
    For certain users when they create SC in SRM the default cost center is not automatically taken into account even if they change it to it. The default cost center was changed for these users and some of them still refer to the old cost center no. which was maintained for them.
    The users are not defective and the except the cost center all other attributes work fine. I have tested by deleting & recreating new BP no. for the users but it still doesnt help. Please advise.

    I had experienced this type of problem as well, just to share it could be that the Identity of the Portal user misses a role which can be solved by any user assigning the identity in their identity management or it could also be the connection status of the UWL to the backend, there should be at least two connection statuses for workflow items to get into the UWL I could not recall it but I would post it here once I have the access to our system again.

  • How to Default what fields and assignment blocks appear for every user?

    Is there a standard way to default what users see in the webui? We'd like to display certain assignment blocks, fields, etc without having the user go thru the personalization process. There are certain pieces we need to display across the board for every user and would like to set this up in advance of them logging into the WebUI.

    With the business roles you can define what the user is allowed to see or do and not.
    So you create your special user business role e.g. Z_USER_SALESPRO and then you can create a business role specific configuration of the views (add/ remove fields) or overview pages (add/remove assignment blocks).
    If you want to you can also deny user with this business role the possibility to personalize their pages at all.
    If you want to show information to all user in the same way then just maintain the default configuration in the enhanced component. As the WebUI always looks for the most specific key found within the configurations available.
    Please make sure you work in default configuration of the enhanced component, else you change SAP standard cheat sheet.

    I would like for a user to be able to choose content and move that content from tab to tab. Or is it that tabs are administrator defined and that the content in a tab can't be selected by an end user?

    Unfortunately no, currently the channels for a particular tab need to be predifined by the administrator.

  • Sharepoint Foundation - search working for some users (or computers), but not others

    We have doozy of a search problem with SharePoint Foundation 2010 that I'm hoping someone can help with.
    We have an application that is listening on port 14197 and search is working just fine, but only for one or two users.
    If I do a search while logged in using the account we set the application up with then the search works fine and it returns records as expected.
    If I use a different account - one that has full control over the app, then the exact same search fails with the following message:
    We did not find any results for 06BSL.
    Suggestions:
    Ensure words are spelled correctly.
    Try using synonyms or related searches.
    Try broadening your search by searching from a different site.

    We've done everything we can think of, including several procedures to create new search accounts, replace databases, etc.
    Nothing has helped and all of the info we can find online is in relation to getting search working when it doesn't work at all.  In our case it is working, but only for some users.  We thought it might have been a permissions issue, but not matter
    what permissions we seem to give to test accounts they still don't work.  We've set up a test account, for example, that is a member of the 'application owners' group, but cannot produce any search results with it.
    The SharePoint Foundation server is running on Windows 2008 Server Foundation, with a separate SBS 2003 DC.  
    Any help most appreciated.

    Hi Alex, thanks for your response and apologies about the late reply - didn't realise someone had responded until now!
    Agreed that this looks like a permissions issue, but we're stumped as to what it could be.  The 'test' account displays this problem - if we try and search on 06BSL
    we get no results, but it does appear that this account has full control over this document (see below).
    Note that the 'Manage Permissions' page presents a comment 'This list item inherits permissions from its parent. (Customer QA & Product Management)' which is what we're
    expecting.
    The indexing schedule is set to 5 minutes. 
    Appreciate your help with this, as we've spent a huge amount of time on this problem but don't seem to be any closer to a resolution.
