Identify Orders created manually in the planning book (user exit macro?)
Hello All,
I am trying to capture the orders created manually in planning book using a user exit macro!!.
Does anyone have any Idea of how to acheive this. Main aim is to identinfy orders created manually.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
-SriniHi,
There are no change pointers like R/3 in APO due to the live cache technology. You can how ever findout if an order is created by system or manually created. Check this [thread|Re: How to identify an order generated by heuristics run or entered manuall]
Check if you can use the BAPIs to read orders and see if they have "output-firmed". -
How to use user exit macros in demand planning?
Hi all,
I am have created an user exit macros? but then can anyone guide me how to use the abp code there in the User exit macros in demand planning.
Thanks
PoojaHi Pooja,
The ABAP code can be written inside the functional module assigned to user exit macro.
Start Transaction SMOD.Enter APODM005 in the 'Enhancement' field. Select 'Display'.
Then choose 'Components' or Shift+F11 and double-click the name of the function module.
Double-click the include contained in the function module to enter the source code.
For step by step details you can refer to SAP note 418801.
Let me know if it helps.

hi bw gurus,
can u plz tell me how to create user exit and wats the actual use of itHi Anna varam
1) Exits are the place where you can ehnace or modify the standard content or create custom objects where they are not delivered by sap in standard format.
Normally in exit you write your logic for enhancement and modification of standard content.
2)
Customer exit --tc SMOD.
"The R/3 enhancement concept allows you to add your own functionality to SAPs standard business applications without having to modify the original applications. SAP creates customer exits for specific programs, screens, and menus within standard R/3 applications. These exits do not contain any functionality. Instead, the customer exits act as hooks. You can hang your own add-on functionality onto these hooks."
Customer exits are implemented in Z-includes and are ENHANCEMENTS to the system.
User-exits were firstly intended to be developed for the SD module. You make your coding in includes in SAP namespace (e.g MV*). That's why, user exits are MODIFICATIONS to the system. In includes for user exits there are empty subroutines ( generally with the name convention "userexit_...") and you code using global variables of the main program.
TC CMOD
the exits are:
EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 for transactional data
EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 for master data
EXIT_SAPLRSAP_003 for texts
EXIT_SAPLRSAP_004 for hierarchies
But, generally developers use these terms without this distinction. So, someone may mean a "customer exit" when (s)he says "user exit" or vice-versa.
And SAP Exit are standard business content exit..like variable 0dat in reporting.

Use of BAPIs in user exit macros
Is it ppssible to use BAPIs in user exit macros in the APO MacroBuilder?
Thanks for any advice on this...Hi,
Not sure what function you want to acheive, but basicly you can use any code in the user-exit macro's customizing code, but at last you must fill in the spcified return value to make the user-exit macro work.

Creating User Exit Variable in BeX
Hi All,
Urgent help required.
I need to create User Exit for a variable which reads value from other variable value which user enter during pop up.
Ex: I need get value for the vaiable "ZACTFY" from the variable value "ZSCENARI". Value of this ZSCENARI will be like
200684
200693
200757 ....
where 2006, 2007 specify year of the forecast value and from (200684) the value 8 refers to 8 months actual & 4 refers to 4 months plan values.
So if ZSCENARI is 200684 the value for the variable ZACTFY should be in interval. i.e Range for low value should be 001.2006 (always month is Jan and year taken from first 4 digits of ZSCENARI) and hight value should be 008.2006.
No need to worry about plan values for scenario 200684 plan value will be there only for last 4 months.
1. Can any one tell me how to do coding for this(pls let me know including declaration).
2. Also if the value for ZSCENARI is Multiple single values lets say the user enters as 200684,200693,200657.. Pls tell me how we can do coding for this.
Thank You.
Best Regards,
Bhuvana.Hi,
CASE I_VNAM.
WHEN 'ZACTFY'.
IF I_STEP = 2.
LOOP AT I_T_VAR_RANGE INTO LOC_VAR_RANGE
WHERE VNAM = 'ZSCENARI'.
CLEAR L_S_RANGE.
L_S_RANGE-LOW = LOC_VAR_RANGE-LOW(4).
L_S_RANGE-LOW+4(2) = '01'.
L_S_RANGE-high = LOC_VAR_RANGE-LOW(4).
L_S_RANGE-high4(2) = LOC_VAR_RANGE-LOW4(1).
L_S_RANGE-SIGN = 'I'.
L_S_RANGE-OPT = 'BT'.
APPEND L_S_RANGE TO E_T_RANGE.

Hi
I've got next suitiation...
I installed minisap NW 7.0 and created personal users for 000 and 001 clients. I used for that TR. SU01 by DDIC user.
Name of my client not BCUSER.
For my personal clients i made all parameters, roles, profiles such as BCUSER user of 000 client (it was after installation NW 7.0)
I use my personal client. For BW working i use 001 personal client.
When i attempt to create user exit (for example: for ench. RSR00001), system requires to enter access key for creating include. It happens in for 000 and 001 my personal client.
BUT, if i use BCUSER 000 client, system don't requires access key and makes it passible to create and to correct include.
What i must to do that i could to create user exits using my personal client?
Best regards!Hi,
Normally you don`t change the 000 client this should remain te standard reference client. You should activate you user exit with the transaction CMOD and SMOD. Then a include will be added so that you can add you code.
Kind,

Steps to create User ID and assigne roles.
Hi,
What are the steps to create User ID using BAPI_USER_CREATE1.
How can I assign an User the role ECC/PORTAL/BI?
Thanks in Advance
RoyAm not sure what type of BI server installation you have...
But here's one way you could create your users.
From the BI Administration Tool --> Open your repository either offline or online --> From the menu click on Manage --> Security--> Here's where you could create your users, groups etc., set what subject areas each user/group should have access to --> After creating your users/groups you could double-click on the user or group and set permissions.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
We are using User Exit Macro to carry out complex calculation in DP planning book. My observation is that, the Macro do not store the calculated values in Planning book. Based on events, User exit macro gets executed and the Value are displayed in the planning book.
Is there a way where in I can execute the User Exit Macro once (background job) and store the value in Planning Book. This will save the execution of Macro each time when book is loaded, and loading will be much faster. Also, being a complex calculation I need to use User Exit calculation.
Any ideas........on how to store the calculated values in Planning books.
Thanks & Regards,
SPHi,
Thanks for reply.
Basically I am looking for "Saving the Calculated Values in planning book through User Exit Macro".
I am using a User Exit Macro to carry out complex calculation. Each time it calculate "on fly" i.e. based on event (Start event). To avoid calculation and time taken for loading book, I want to save the result of an User Exit Macro in Planning Book Key Figure.
Thanks & Regards,

User exit macros in APO DP macrobuilder
I am using APO DP V5.
Can anyone give me an example of how 'user exit' macros are built - I cannot find any good documentation on this point.
Thanks,
Bob Austin, Atos OriginMark,
Thanks for your reply.
In the APO DP macrobuilder, I specifically want to have a macro which runs some bespoke code.
I'm not clear how to do this.
Am I missing something in Note 380352?

Determine which validation step called the user exit, possible?
Hello all,
We have a a validation with different steps that use the same user exit in their respective check.
My functional analyst asked me if there is a way to programmatically determine in the user exit which step is executing the user exit.
So I am asking the same question here.
As an example:
Validation FI100 has step 001, 002, and 003.
Each of these steps use the user exit U100 from module pool ZGGBR001 in their check.
I haven't found a way in the code of U100 to determine which step called U100.
Does anyone know if this can be done?
I have used the following technique to get a variable from the program's call stack.
data: var_name(30) type c value '(Z_CALLING)VARIABLE' .
field-symbols: <fs> type any.
assign (var_name) to <fs>.
write: / 'Variable from Z_CALLING', <fs>.
But I'm not sure how this might work with validation steps/user exits.
Thanks
BruceVinod,
I did some debugging after I posted my question. I came to the same solution, use FM 'SYSTEM_CALLSTACK'.
VALCHCK_2FI100##001
loop at i_callstack into w_callstack
where EVENTNAME+0(9) = 'VALCHCK_2'.
FI110 is the validation
001 is the step
Thomas,
Thanks for the caveats.

Step by step to create planning book & Macro's behind it I am a ABAPer
Recently I have been shifted from R/3 to Apo ; Want to know the creation of planing book & the creation of Macro workbench playing behind planning book .
To create planning book.
To create Macro & how to relate a planning book with the macro.
Step by step process from simple to complex .
Different process to programe a macro .
I can understant ( rather I know ) how to relate a badi (Enhancement spot ) to a macro & but please guide me how to define a row of a planing book : such as how to define the row 'Avg Weekly Forcast' of planing book in a single varriable as 'ZAVGWKFST' to capture it at badi in the parameter I_T_LINES[]
(component - FELDH).
To create a custom Button in a planning book & how to program.
I have many broken links while I try to know it by myself.Hi amitabha,
Please find below the detailed steps to define a planning book:
A planning book defines the content and the layout of the interactive planning screen. Planning books are used in Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning. They allow you to design the screen to suit individual planning tasks. A planning book is based on a planning area. You can create several user-specific data views in a planning book. In this step, you create a planning book for Demand Planning.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
SAP SCM menu Advanced Planning and Optimization Demand Planning Environment Current settings Define Planning Book
Transaction code /SAPAPO/SDP8B
2. Enter the planning book DP_001 and choose Create.
The Planning Book Wizard dialog box is displayed.
3. Make the following entries:
Field name User action and values
Planning Book Enter the planning book DP_001
Planning book text Demand Planning
Planning area Select the planning area DP_001 and choose Enter
Manual Proportion Maintenance X
Promotion X
Univariate forecast X
4. Choose Continue.
5. Assign the following key figures from planning area to the planning book by using drag and drop or choose Add all new Key Figures to add all key figures:
Description Value Comment
History 9AVHISTORY Relevant for Scenario MTS
Forecast 9ADFCST Relevant for Scenario MTS and VMI
Promotion 1 9APROM1 Relevant for Scenario MTS
Forecast (addition.) 9AAFCST Relevant for Scenario MTS
Planned Price 9APRICEFC Relevant for Scenario MTS
Sales Forecast 9AREVFC Relevant for Scenario MTS
Production (Planned) 9APPROD Relevant for Scenario MTS
Manual Correction 9AMANUP Relevant for Scenario MTS
Additional Field 1 9AADDKF1 Relevant for Scenario VMI
Additional Field 2 9AADDKF2 Relevant for Scenario VMI
Additional Field 3 9AADDKF3 Relevant for Scenario MTS
Additional Field 4 9AADDKF4 Relevant for Scenario MTS
Additional Field 5 9AADDKF5 Relevant for Scenario MTS
The Proportional factor APODPDANT key figure is automatically added to your planning area when you create the planning area. You do not have to add this key figure yourself and assign it to the planning book in this step. When you create the respective view, this key figure will be automatically there for your selection.
6. Choose Continue.
7. Assign the following characteristics from the planning area to the planning book by using drag and drop:
Description Value
APO Location 9ALOCNO
APO Product 9AMATNR
Brand 9ABRAND
Sales Organization 9AVKORG
APO Destination Loc. 9ALOCTO
The characteristic 9AVERSION (APO Planning Version) will be added to the planning book automatically after you complete this step.
9. Choose Continue to go to the Data View tab (the Key Fig. Attrib tab is available in the change mode only after you have completed the planning book).
10. On the Data view tab; enter the following values:
Field name User action (Scenario MTS) User action (Scenario VMI)
Data view DP_Standard VMI_Standard
Data view description Demand Planning Demand Planning
TB profile ID (future) DP_4Weeks_5Month DP_4Weeks_5Month
TB profile ID (history) DP_12Month DP_12Month
Status 3 (Changeable) 3 (Changeable)
11. Choose Enter.
12. Select Visible and select the date as of which you wish the past planning horizon to be visible when this data view is opened.
13. Choose Continue, and assign the following key figures from the planning book to the data view for either the MTS or the VMI scenario, keeping the same order as in the table:
Make-to-Stock
Key Figures Description
9AVHISTORY History
9ADFCST Forecast
9APROM1 Promotion 1
9AAFCST Forecast (additional)
9APRICEFC Planned Price
9AREVFC Sales Forecast

9AMANUP Manual Correction
9AADDKF4 Additional Field 4
Vendor-Managed Inventory
Key Figures Description
9AADDKF1 Additional Field 1
9AADDKF2 Additional Field 2
9ADFCST Forecast
14. Choose Complete.
15. When the Planning Wizard prompt appears, choose Yes to complete the planning book and data view.
16. On the initial screen, change the planning book you have just created by choosing Edit.
17. If you are installing the VMI scenario, continue with step 21 (entering a free text for the key figures).
If you are installing the Make-to-Stock scenario, repeat steps 9 to 12 to create the following views:
Views View Description Key Figures
DP_CLP COLLABORATIVE DEMAND PLANNING
History
Forecast
Forecast (additional)
DP_RELEASE DEMAND PLANNING - RELEASE VIEW
Manual Correction
18. On the Data View tab page, specify the following TB profile IDs for the DP_RELEASE view,
Field name User action and values
TB profile ID (future) DP_12Month
TB profile ID (history) blank
19. Create the remaining views for the Make-to-Stock scenario according to the steps 9-12:
Views View Description Key Figures
DP_LOGISTICS DEMAND PLANNING - LOGISTICS VIEW
Forecast
Production (Planned)
DP_SALES DEMAND PLANNING - SALES VIEW
History
Forecast
Forecast (addition.)
Planned Price
Sales Forecast
Manual Correction
DP_PROP DEMAND PLANNING - PROPORTIONAL FACTOR VIEW Proportional Factor
To modify the proportional factors manually, you need to create a separate data view containing only the APODPDANT key figure to control the authorization to change these factors. This key figure is a default value in the view and is thus invisible, so you do not need to assign any key figure from the right list in this view.
20. Choose Complete.
21. Go to the Key fig. attributes tab, select the FreeText radio button and make the following entries for each key figure. Choose Save Setting after entering the data for each key figure (depending on your scenario).
Key Figures Free Text Relevant for scenario

Steps to create macros in macro wrokbench:
3.7 Creating Macros (SAP APO)
Use
You can use advanced macros to perform complex calculations quickly and easily. Macros are executed either directly by the user or automatically at a predefined point in time. When defining advanced macros, you work in a special desktop environment known as the MacroBuilder.
In total, four macros are created in the Demand Planning building block. They are all defined for the planning book DP_001. You create three macros for forecast calculation according to the following instruction. The chapter Creating the Macro for Consensus-Based Planning describes how to create the alert macro for consensus-based planning.
In the DP_STANDARD view of the planning book DP_001, you create two macros:
The first macro is used for the standard and consensus-based planning. The system calculates the arithmetic average of Statistical Forecast, Sales Forecast and Logistics Forecast, the result of average forecast data plus Promotion Data is inserted in the Final Forecast cell. It enables the user to consider the forecast input and the promotion plan from different departments within the company. The planner can make manual adjustments and enter the final agreed forecast into the Final Forecast cell. All of this information can be shown in the planning book screen.
The second macro multiplies the Final forecast data with the Planned price to calculate the sales volume. The third macro is an alert macro used for highlighting exceptional situations in consensus-based planning.
In the DP_SALES view of the planning book DP_001, you create the fourth macro. This macro multiplies the Final forecast data with the Planned price to calculate the sales volume, which is the same as the one in the standard view.
