Even though I've got WMP0 and the new firmware FINALLY up and running, I'm still having major problems.
Syncing files between the player and the PC is causng me no end of hassle. I can sometimes get a few tracks onto the player, sometimes none before it freezes and I have to unplug the USB connection to get it running again.
Notmad is having major connectivity problems then when it does finally work it jams whilst transferring files onto my player too.
I've just abandoned all hope of running any Creative software full stop given my woes around this firmware.
Is anybody else experiencing these issues or is it just me?Are you showing an signal when the SIM is inserted into the iPhone? Making calls and sending/receiving messages are two different things. Calls use the cellular side of things, messages uses data. I'm surprised that is all T-Mobile would do to check out your account is to test your SIM. What if they look at your account, is it provisioned correctly?
You can try to reset the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo. The phone will reboot. See if it works. If not, try to reset network settings. Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. The phone will reboot. Check they if it is working. If not, then you can make an appointment with the Genius Bar at the Apple store, but I still lean heavily that the problem is with the carrier. -
Still having problems with UAG SP4 and Windows 8.1

This must be one of many threads on this topic but I'm stuck.
Because of the incompatibility with 8.1 and UAG2010 we've updated to SP4. Now, out-of-the-box 8.1 no longer wants to install the client components via ActiveX. I can log in, but the client isn't compliant so not all functions are available.
I actually had to manually get the client components from our UAG server. After installing I compared the System Information window with that of my 8.0 / IE10 installation and the only difference is that I can't see the version of the Device Session Cleanup
and SSL Application Tunneling gives me a "red X" in 8.0 and says "not detected" in 8.1. I did notice some .NET 3.5 components missing in 8.1 so I installed those too.
Compatibility mode does not help and switching to IE9 mode using the developer console is a workaround, not a solution.
What am I not seeing here?Hi,

I am using a Mac desktop, OS 10.8.5. I have to "force quit" Firefox after about 10 to 15 minutes online. I did not have this problem before this latest update. I'm actually using Safari to post this question.

YES many thousands will have that sort of symptom. Not surprising with a user base approaching 1/2 Billion Firefox users.
As for your own problem try these suggestions in this order and checking after each step.

Mac Pro 6,1 STILL having issues with Open CL (4K scaling and SpeedGrade direct link grades)
I've seen the staff responses to the issues of the new Mac Pro GPU saying that 10.9.4 fixes everything. For me, it has fixed my export issues, so I'm glad. I'm no longer getting lines and artifacts on my renders.
That's great.
However, I'm still having several issues, and they seem to be linked to Adobe and Open CL.

Issue #1
Like most of you probably, I'm doing 1080p exports of most things I'm working on. The first project shows a 1080p timeline with a mix of 4k, 5k, and 720p footage. Because zooming in so much on a 720p file in a 4k timeline looks so crappy, I'm doing 1080p timelines and scaling everything to the size it needs to be. I started in a 4k timeline then switched to 1080p because the 720p footage looked so terrible. However, in the 4k timeline, I didn't have any of the issues I'm showing in this first part of the video.
When I switched to the 1080p timeline, I discovered a weird quirk: When I resize the 4k (or 5k) footage to the size it needs to be (which varies based on the frame I want), it goes back to the 100% view when I'm scrubbing through it. When I pause, the size of the video goes back to the way I set it. I show this in the video. Then I show what was my working solution for the time being: "scale to frame size", which brings all the videos to the size of the sequence frame size and works fine. Later, I turn off OpenCL in premiere and when I scrub through the video, it doesn't zoom back in or only stay at the size I set when stopped. For some reason all of these issues only happen at 50% scale or smaller. It doesn't happen at, say, 60%.
I've tested this with raw R3D files and other 4K (or 5K) clips (even clips exported from After Effects) and the same thing happens. It doesn't seem to happen with 2.5k footage or 1080p footage.
Issue #2
This is the second project you'll see in the video.
After grading in speedgrade (through direct link) I open my project back up in premiere and start playing it back. The video plays back with delays and frame drops. Now normally, this would be expected. But this is 1080p pro res footage, and this is just an effect added, and the yellow bar appears indicating that open CL should be accelerating the playback and it should do so smoothly.
Maybe I was just wrong in assuming that a simple grade from speedgrade would be able to playback smoothly. I turn off the grade, and it plays normally.
But then, when I turn off open cl and leave the grade on, the video plays back without ANY issues.
So to me, it seems I'm still having issues with Open CL and adobe. I've found fixes that make it work temporarily, I don't need that kind of answer. However, I would like this to work. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Something I need to do to get this to work?

3 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5
64 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 ECC
AMD FirePro D700 6144 MB (x2)
OSX 10.9.4

What you're seeing is latest version of Premiere (CC 2014, v8.0.0 [169] Build)
Everything here is ProRes 422, running from a Promise Pegasus2 R4 RAID (drives: 4x Seagate Desktop HDD 4 TB SATA 6Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST4000DM000) (that's thunderbolt 2).
I've done everything: I've restarted my computer hundreds of times, I've reset NVRAM and PRAM and done power cycles.
This isn't just some issue that started with 10.9.3 of OSX, the 4k issues happened when I first switched to a 1080p sequence back in February (2014) or so, which means it was an issue even with 10.9.2 and the previous firmware release.
I've reported this issue to adobe.That crash appears to be casued by the Facebook plug-in.
Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7 and 10.8), make a new Library in that account, import some shots and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account. -

Was it purchased from an official Apple Store, not a reseller? Only Apple Stores sell official factory unlocked phones. The others sell hacked to unlock phones, and the unlocking is unstable.
Try these steps, as needed:
1. Reset phone - press both home and on/off buttons for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
3. Replace SIM card (and reset network settings again)
4. Restore Phone in iTunes using a backup
5. Restore in iTunes as new, without using a backup -
I am still having issues with the TOC pictures. I got several chapter/section photos to show up, but can't seem to repeat this success. It is some mystery that happened during a time that I had practically given up. This should be such a simple thing. Drag and place a picture into the placeholder and it shows up in the TOC....right? Help, help help! want to get this thing done and it's taken two days of work just get some of the photos to show up. I am going to have to publish this ibook with no photos in several sections.....why can't this be simple? I have even had someone else spend hours trying to figure this out. This software is such a GREAT idea....come on...help with this little part of it.
I had the same problem myself. I got to the point where I couldn't replace the photo, of a new chapter, in the TOC. What I did was to duplicate an existing chapter that was working and was able to replace it's TOC's photo. I also found that if you try different areas of the photo you can sometimes get it to replace correctly. For example, instead of dragging the new photo to the middle of an existing photo, try dragging it to the right top corner.

I'm frustrated, I am doing everything you recommend, I use only two channels, have plenty of memory in my hard disk, and external hard drive, no effects, and still having problems with Garage band. Giving messages as you ave too many live channels, the disk is slow prepare...can you help?

As for question #2, you call tell how iTunes is sorting songs by the up or down arrow next to a header name.
Even the original order that the songs were entered or date added or last played can be sorted.
Much easier with a mouse or touch pad. -

I use the Atomic browser for some things. I feel it's main advantage is that you can set the type of browser that Atomic reports. I set mine to Internet Explorer and that allows me to visit regular websites without being redirected to a tablet version. Its free so why not download it and give it a try. If you find it wanting just delete it.

Are people still having trouble with iPhone/HP Laptops?
Since I've had my Envy I've had no end of trouble with getting it and the iPhone to play nice. Any my search continues. So far, I have updated every bios, reinstalled Windows 7/iTunes many times, have restored the iPhone far more times than I care to remember and I am STILL having troubles with this thing. Having got through the Syncing issues with the PM55 chipset and iPhone I can now sync with my laptop. However all is not well as it would seem that I cannot sync my photo's. It doesn't matter if I have 0gb, 15gb or 30gb free, iTunes is telling me that there is not enough memory available. This error seems like an old one and there is even some info in the Apple KB but after following all that I still can't get it to sync my photo's.
Some info on my setup:
HP Envy 15 (all the latest drivers installed, bios F.24) Core i7-820, 8gb ram etc.
iPhone 32gb, ver 3.1.3
iTunes (whatever the latest one is)
I should add that I can sync my iPhone with an identical install of intunes on my vintage Quad core desktop PC, but as I use my Laptop a lot more (and have all my media, email, and contacts etc on it) I would prefer to sync to it.
Is there anything that I can do? Its very frustrating to have blown $4k on this equipment and it doesn't work...Well I tried deleting the photocache but alas, no luck. I also tried syncing with just the photo's enabled, and it worked! So then I enabled my other media and that copied across too! I thought I was on a bit of a roll here, but now whenever I try and sync it will do one of 3 things:
iTunes will crash.
iTunes will indicate that there is not enough memory on the device (+9GB free)
iTunes will remove the iPhone from the sidebar (and my computer/disk management) even though it will continue to charge.
Interesting point to note is that it works fine (cable/iphone/itunes/media library) on my desktop and macbook. Still really disappointed that I cannot get these two to cooperate. Also still haven't got any contacts from outlook but that may not be related? -

as you can see from the images ( red boxes ) it moves when is in preview mode and the sizes of the images change as well as you can see. I dont know why? I tried figuring it out

Still having issues with searching a folder
I am still having problems with searching a folder which contains a large # of files. I am coming over from using Windows explorer (in XP), and want to be able to do a search narrowed to a specific folder (containing ~ 12000 files).
When I open the folder and do a search, it reverts to searching the entire MAC and all files; each time I have to narrow the search to the folder name and then limit the search again to only the file names (as opposed to searching entire content).
I would also like the search result to display the "date created" instead of date last opened, but haven't been able to adjust preferences at this point with spotlight once I have performed the search (when I initially open the folder, it will display files by date created, but then changes to date last opened after searching). Basically I want to have only specific columns of information appear (date created, etc.) and want complete control over this in the search dialog screen.
Perhaps there is another utility available which performs these specific tasks? Can anyone offer some suggestions?

They were unable to configure it, and were rather surprised that this is not an option. Then they investigated further and said it would be an option with Snow Leopard.

Having problem with change of name in the datagrid Coding
I am having problem with changing the name of the datagrid header text name for one of the data either in the flash file or the php file.
The thing is i want to change the Course_Name to Course Name that has no underscore so that it will look nicer in the datagrid but if I change it in the php file like SELECT Course_Name as 'Course Name' ....., it will not turn out in the datagrid when I CTRL ENTER the flash file but the others like Price,description and display is shown.
There is no problem with my php code but I do not know how to change the Course_Name into Course Name so please help me resolve this error that I am having.
