Still no compatibility between Storage Client Library v3 and emulator?

Hi,
According to this blog post:
I'm apparently unable to post a link, but here's the text from the blog. I'm sure you can find it via google if interested.)
<<<<
Storage Emulator Guidance
As mentioned above an updated Windows Azure Storage Emulator is expected to ship with full support of these new features in the next couple of months. Users attempting to develop against the current version of the Storage emulator will receive Bad Request
errors as the protocol version (2013-08-15) is unsupported.  Until then, users wanting to use the new features would need to develop and test against a Windows Azure Storage Account to leverage the 2013-08-15 REST version.
>>>>
So it seems there was not compatibility between the storage emulator and Storage Client Library v3. I'm wondering if that is still the case. I get a 400 error when calling container.CreateIfNotExists() when pointing to local storage, but no problem pointing
to production storage. I'm using SCL v3.0.2.
Thanks...

Hi,

Here is a snippet of this thread.
Storage Emulator 2.2 is currently incompatible with Storage Client Library 3.0.0.0. This has been mentioned in Storage Team Blob as well:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/windowsazurestorage/archive/2013/11/27/windows-azure-storage-release-introducing-cors-json-minute-metrics-and-more.aspx (Please
read "Storage Emulator Guidance" section towards the end of the post).
It may be fixed in the next version.
Hope this helps

  • File compatibility between CS 5.5 MAC and CS 5.5 PC?

We are currently a PC based shop with a few MAC's tossed here and there.  I have been asked to verify the file compatibility between CS 5.5 MAC and CS 5.5 PC.  Are the files fully compatible?  i.e. can user A on a PC create an illustrator/photoshop/etc document which is then opened by user B on a MAC with no issues?
    Thanks!

Yes. For the programs you mentioned it has been forever this way and even for programs like Premiere Pro or Encore, that were platform-specific until recently, this is no longer an issue ever since CS5. Of course you will still have to take care of different handling for file paths on different platforms for externally linked files, but that's a different matter and nothing specific to Adobe...

  • Diiferences between bin/client/jvm.dll and bin/server/jvm.dll

    Hello,
A basic question about the jvm.dll library :
I can't find any document explaining the difference between bin/client/jvm.dll and bin/server/jvm.dll both locatedin the j2sdk directory.
Therefore, I don't really know which one I should use with tomcat run as a service.
    Thanks for your help .

    I found the answer here:
    http://java.sun.com/javase/6/webnotes/install/jre/README
    under-> Redistributable JDK(TM) Files
    it states:
    jre\bin\server\
On Microsoft Windows platforms, the JDK includes both

However, the Java SE Runtime Environment for Microsoft Windows

  • NuGet dependency for storage client library

    Hi
    I noticed in:
    https://github.com/Azure/azure-storage-net/blob/master/changelog.txt
    that it says:
    Issues fixed in 3.1.0.1 :
    - All: Removed the System.Data.Services.Client dependency from the Nuget package.
And yet when I try to delete System.Data.Services.Client I get this error:
    "Unable to uninstall 'Microsoft.Data.Services.Client 5.6.0' because 'WindowsAzure.Storage 3.1.0.1' depend(s) on it."
    And it also mentions on:
    https://www.nuget.org/packages/WindowsAzure.Storage/3.1.0.1
That there is still a dependency on: Microsoft.Data.Services.Client (≥ 5.6.0)
Is this a mistake or am I missing something?
    Cheers
    David

    hi,
'Microsoft.Data.Services.Client 5.6.0' and ' System.Data.Services.Client ' have different name space. You could  add 'Microsoft.Data.Services.Client 5.6.0' into your reference and remove ' System.Data.Services.Client ' DLL file from your project
. Also, if your project have 'Microsoft.Data.Services.Client 5.6.0' file, your removed  'System.Data.Services.Client ' and didn't get any error. Please try it.

  • ITunes compatibility between OSX 10.6.8 and iOS 7.1.2?

I recently got a new iPhone 5S and was trying to sync it with the iTunes library on my (admittedly old) late '08 MacBook (Apple spec page). However, when plugging my phone into the laptop, I received an error message which read "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone "[my device name]" because the device timed out."
Simply syncing from the cloud isn't an option, as I've got a lot of music that was ripped from my physical media collection, or was created by me, and doesn't live there.
I'm running OSX 10.6.8 on my laptop, mainly because my understanding is that the newer OSX versions are RAM hogs for older machines, and that will make this computer much less useful for its original purpose (audio processing applications). Is this an insurmountable 'generation gap' between OS's, or does a solution exist? Thanks.

  • Can anyone tell me the compatability between macbook pro running lion and the kindle touch?

I originally wanted an Ipad, but when I already have a macbook pro, and an android phone, planning to upgrade to an iphone when I qualifiy for one, I could not see paying the money for an ipad when between my computer and phone I have all the capabilities covered. However, being a college student who uses pdf files of textbooks a lot, sometimes pulling out my laptop every time I want to look some little thing up in a textbook gets old. And carrying all my engineering textbooks everywhere is going to kill my back one of these days. So I want a cost friendy e-reader or tablet. Ive heard good things about kindles. But what is the compatibility like for a mac? will it be a pain in the but like my android?

Get an iPad. Once you have that, you may not really need to spend the money on an iPhone, since the iPad will do everything the iPhone does (and be easier to see doing it) except make phone calls, and even an Android phone can do that.

  • Compatibility between R/3 4.6c and BI 7.0

    Hello,
First of all, I want to stress out that I just spent hours reading SDN and service marketplace, and I just couldn't find a precise answer, so that's why I ask you this ..
we have SAP R/3 4.6c, SP 23, no BW sofar.
We plan to have BI 7.0, and I have been asked to which SP level we had to be in SAP R/3.
I understand that we have to get the right PI version ( PI 2004.1 SP10 if I'm right ?), but what about the SP level of SAP R/3 itself ??
Thank ou very much if you can help.

    Hi Andreas,
Thank you for your quick answer !
In fact I had already read this thread...So I did the 'R/3' search, and read it all.
But now maybe I am a little bit more stupid than I thought, because when I read the compatibility matrix between SAP R/3 SP level and netweaver here :
    https://websmp109.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000653817&
    I just don't understand:"  PI 2004.1, with R/3 SP01 (??) and R/3 plug-in SP10 "
    So all I understand is I must have the 2004.1 plug-in with SP10 on my SAP R/3 4.6c system..am I right ?
    Thanks again

  • Compatibility between Sun C++ 5.1 and Sun C++ 5.2

Is it possible to create with Sun C++ 5.1 a shared library refering symbols from other libraries created with Sun C++ 5.2 ?

There should be no problem linking 5.1 to 5.2 objects. In fact 5.0, 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 objects
are all compatible. Note this does not apply to debug binaries. Debug objects are compatible but
the information changed between releases. The latest version of dbx should be used in a mixed
    environment.

  • Compatibility between tag names in Professional and Binding in Designer

Q: Is there a way to get the same 'recognition' Acrobat Professional uses in their object/tag names to match up with an object name set in Designer?
We have tried naming the objects in an xdp/pdf using Designer, but without the same results as if these objects were named in Acrobat Professional.
History: Currently we use Designer 7.0 to build XDP's of our forms (350+) to run on FormServer. Many fields on each of these forms 'prefill' with advisor/client information from settings in the Binding tab. These forms are then stitched together to make on large PDF.
There are approximately 30 of these forms that are also used/shared in another 'forms tool' that uses the tag names set through Acrobat Professional. Professional doesn't allow us to do any 'Advanced Editing' if the form was designed in Designer.
    So...,
Our process for these (30) forms is to [1]build the forms in Designer (since we need the XDP for other apps), [2]'dumb' the form down page by page in Illustrator, [3]merge these individual pdf's back into one pdf through Professional, [4]and then proceed with the interactivity. (!whew!)
With this process, we can [5]then add in tag names to each object that needs prefilling by the other system and finish the form.
Not too bad for 30 forms - but we are now looking to inherit 300+ more forms.

Conversion is strictly necessary and irreversible between the latest version of Power Pivot for Excel 2010, and Power Pivot in Excel 2013 (365 or disc - Pro Plus). Once converted to 2013, there is no way to open the same file again in 2010.
If you do not have the latest version of Power Pivot for Excel 2010, I believe you will need to upgrade that, then use that to open an older Excel 2010 workbook, then open in 2013 to upconvert.
If you have users on multiple versions of Excel, SharePoint is your best bet for sharing a Power Pivot workbook.
If you have users on multiple versions of Excel who must collaborate on building a workbook, you've got some installations, VMs, or spare laptops coming your way.

  • How to restore the link between on screen library item and audio file?

Do you have a BORKEN LINKS problem?
I'd like to share a useful discovery.
I have read a number of posts both here and other forums concerning 'broken links' problem after moving iTunes music folder to an external drive.
ie. In the iTunes window you see a long list of playlists on the left (blue tinted) column and song names and details in the other columns but when you try to play a song a message tells you the link is broken and ! appears to the left of song name.
Broken links can easily be restored if you use SMART PLAYLISTS.
Note: I'm not sure about manually created playlists, so take care.
How to repair the broken links:
    Step one:
Make a back up copy of 2 important files,
the current iTunes library and iTunes Music Library.xml files
place copies somewhere away from the iTunes folder.
    Preparation:
first go to iTunes Preferences and in the advanced settings page, uncheck the two boxes, Keep iTunes Music folder organsied : and Copy files to files to iTunes Music Folder when adding to library.
Method A. only some links broken.
Within iTunes highlight each of your playlists in turn**, highlight all the songs listed and hit the delete key on the keypad. Don't worry all the category info will not be lost, keep the playlist window open so you can monitor the link repair progress.
In the FILE menu, click on 'add to library', and select the artist folder containing the songs you just deleted. Click on the choose button, and soon all the songs will appear once more in the song list window complete with all associated info that you have previously added like genre, comments, grouping.
    Method B. all links broken.
If your entire song list has broken links like mine did (ie when you try to play the song a ! appears to the left of song name, restoring the entire list is easy, having made the settings mentioned above, click on 'add to library' then select the iTunes Music folder itself, in a short time all the songs will appear on screen as before you deleted them with links restored.
    NOTE
**For this reason it is a good idea to create a smart playlist corresponding to every Artist folder that appears in Finder, this greatly facilitates any future repairs of broken links in batches. In fact there is an advantage in making all the playlists of the 'Smart' type and taking the time to fill in fields like Genre, Comments, and Grouping as this information allows the application to place every song into at least one category which can be named when setting up the smart playlist.

    Dear,
We need to know if Oracle version 8i (8.1.7.4) is compatible with the version of HP UX 11iV2 (11.23) installed on a HP superdome.
This is quite urgent because we replace the server where the DB runs by another.
Is there a document with the compatibility ?
Do we need to install Oracle 8i 64 bits ?
    Thank you in advance,

  • Compatibility between D-Link wireline adaptor and Asoka wireline adaptor

WiFi coverage in my house was just plain awful with the old 2Wire gateway, no signal strength outside of the room the gateway is in. Better signal strength from my neioghbour's house! Bought a D-Link wireline adaptor pair and that fixed one connection problem.  A recent problem had AT&T replace the old 2EWire unit with a Arris NVG589 gateway. Slightly better reception around the house, but not stunning in a couple of rooms. Technician left me with a pair of Asoka wireline adaptors to help solve my bad reception problem.   Plug and Play they aren't. I cannot find the magic for them to connect with my D-Link adaptors. Any suggestions? ThanksPeter

ATT tech replaced the gateway with a brand new system. Admitted I seem to have a dead spot when it comes to wireless internet in one room - remote TV box in that room seems to work fine. I have  a D-Link wireline adaptor set up between my gateway and the bedroom - works find for my son's Playstation. Tried to add the ASOKA adaptor into that "network" doesn't seem to be compatible with the D-Link.I'll have another try - the box teh ASOKA adaptors came in didn't have any instructions, so I may be doing something wrong. More research, it seems

  • Compatibility between SAP ECC 6.0 and LDAP

    Hi,
Does the current version of SAP ECC 6.0 has any dependency on the Domain and Forest Functional Level of Active Directory?
Currently the Domain Functional Level is Windows 2000 native and the Forest Functional Level is Windows 2000.
The Domain and Forest Functional Level will be raised to Windows Server 2003.
While raising the Domain and Forest Functionality level to Windows 2003 provides additional features and capabilities as far as Active Directory enhancement it does not cause any issues with the application as such.
It will be a good idea to confirm from SAP if there are any dependencies on this.
Please do let me know if you need more information or any help from me.
    Thanks,
