STO for a customer/vendor of another plant

Is it possible to transfer a stock from a plant warehouse to a customer or vendor of another plant? What is the procedure?

Thanks.  Yes, all our SC vendors are assigned to Plant. Based on Sub con PO created, the vendor stock gets created.
My concern: I want to transfer a stock (as such removal) from one plant say P1 to a customer/vendor of another plant P2. This SC vendor will supply FG to P2 as the Subcon PO is created so. Logically, via ME2O, P2 should provide the component to that vendor. But In real time, physically components are being supplied from P1.
How can I send a stock from one plant to a customer of another plant? This can be done 541 Transfer posting.. From: IG10 Dest: IG14 and with the SC vendor.
But before I do this 541 Transfer posting I need a base order ( I thought STO is the way) from which I should do OBD and then I should go for that 541 transfer posting..
from P1 to SC vendor via P2..
Am I clear? Is it possible?

  • Several reconciliation accounts possible for one customer/vendor

    Dear experts,
I am starting with FI-CO module.
I have a question regarding G/L reconciliation accounts
-Are they only linked to subledgers AP-AR in the customers/vendors master data?  I mean for one customer i only have 1 reconciliation account (receivable from customers), i can' t have more than 1 reconciliation accounts (except Special G/L indicators such as down payments, or bad debt etc.)?
ex : what can i do with the following exemple?
I have customers who are my policy holders (we are an insurance company).
I can pay them sometimes commissions and sometimes a profit sharing.
    So i have 2 G/L accounts :
-Payables to policy holders -direct business
-Payables to policy holders - profit sharing
in my customers master data I can't affect these 2 accounts at the same time to my customer...So what am I supposed to do?
Affect the first one as default in the master data, and define the second one as a special G/L indicator?
I currently have quite a lof of detail in my operational Chart of a account and I don't know how to manage this?
Is there only the special G/L indicators solution?
Do you know if there are some recommandations regarding the special G/L indicators use? Can we create easily as many special G/L codes (and accounts) as we want? Or do you have a best practice?
Many thanks in advance for your helps

answer>yes.  But their is alternative reconciliation account functio that reconciliation account can be changed manually when posting.

answer-> using alternative reconciliation account functionality or special G/L Function.

    you can use A--Z; 0-9. If not enough, some customers are using "=, <, (, !, $, &, -" ect.
In you case, suggest you to use alternative reconciliation account function.
Alternative reconciliation account can be maintained in Tcode:OBXY), and in FS00, tick the u201Crecon. acct ready for inputu201D flag for reconciliation account which is maintained in Tcode:FD02, then go to Tcode FB01, when you enter customer line items, the reconciliation account can be changed.
Hope above information can help you solve your issue.

  • Configure a sales orginazation as a customer for another plant..

    Hi ,
How can we configure a sales orginazation as a customer for another plant?? This configuration is requiresd for intercompany  scenerio.
PLZ give me the exact steps.
Also I want to know how to configure a plant as a vendor to another plant in case of STO b/w different companies.
    Points assured for suitable answers.
    THNX n Regards,
    Subbz..

    Intercompany Scenario:
Go to Sales & Distribution >Billing> Intercompany Billing
Here there is an option to maintain internal customer number for a sales organization. Now the customer that you define here should be created in sales org on which the Intercompany Billing invoice is raised ( or the sales org for which the sales order is created )
    Cross Company Scenario:
In Cross Comapany scenario, you shall have two plants in the PO created. One would be supplying Plant and the other would be receiving plant.
You have create a Vendor Master Record for the Supplying Plant. For this, follow the below :
XK01 is the tcode for creation of Vendor master data
Remember in this XK01 screen, the company code details to be given shall be the other company code ( that is the company code to which the receiving plant is configured ).
In the same screen, the Account Group has to be selected 0007.
    So go ahead and create the vendor through the above transaction. Be careful to maintain as and when the field details you come across during vendor creation;
Supplying Plant ---> as Delivering Plant ( DP)
Supplying Plant as Vendor and VB(companycode ) as DI --> Invoice Presented by.
    Hope the above helps.

  • Intercompany customer/vendor netting

Can someone pls share what is the IHC config steps required for intercompany Customer/vendor netting.
is there a way to make payment from F110  run from Intercompany vendor, clears receivale balance by Financial statement posting to the intercompany customer.
customer vendor belong to same company.
    Thanks-Vivek

    Hi Vivek,
In the case of customer receivables, you can set-up a company code as a customer. For example you have company code 0001 and company code 0002. You want company code 0001 to collect from company code 0002. You can simply set-up company code 0002 as a customer in company code 0001. Let's say company code 0002 will be customer number 11002. You create a customer invoice for 11002 in company code 0001 and then run F110.
Postings will be the same as how normal customers are.
    Hope this helps!

  • Default customs vendor to condition type

    Dear all,
How to arrive at default customs vendor in import purchase order for certain condition types of CVD & It's cess,Customs duty & it's cess & additioanl import duty,Currently it is defaulted to import vendor ?
    With Regards
    A.Jeyakanthan

    Hi,
You could set this in PO, get into the conditios details. For eg CVD,
You should be able to set the vendor there, who will be customs vendor.
This vendor would be the default vendor, when you  process the MIRO for the customs vendor and
    for your palnned delivery costs.

  • ATP for 1 st.location for some customer and other for other customer

    Hi,
I have a sceanrio, where a cash customer walks in the store, picks up 10 pcs from the shelf come to the counter pays and moves out. In the same plant I have run a availability check on a account customer as per requested delivery date, was supposed to give same 10 pcs. So availability check is of no use here.
But I can control this if I mark storage location 0001 for Walkin Customer and 0002 for Account customer in the same plant , In this I will run Av Check for account customer and can commit him dates and at the same time walkin customer also gets his material.
So can anybody tell what should be end to end process
    Regards
    Naveen

    Hi,
Alternatively, you can configure your system, as per your suggestion to the account customer and walk in customer.
What you can do is keep a seperate stock of the account customer and a seperate stock of walk in customer.
You can reserve the account customer stock prior to 10 days while walk in customer needs no prior reservation, as the quantities required by him on single dealing basis would be low.
This will help you solve your availability check.
    regards,
    Siddharth.

  • Rebate agreement setting for new customer

I have a scenario, where business has a customer who had some sales and now that the cusotmer has changed his name and new customer is created for that. old customer has been set for deletion. now business wants to transfer the old customer sales data to new customer inorder to create the rebate agreements. as i understand rebate agrements are created based on customer and cannot be created for old customer and accru another customers sales. did any one came across such scenario, please give your suggestion.

    Hi
No it is not, it is accrued into the accruals account based on the accruals value you have defined in the condition record of the agreement.
    Example scale :
    scale value            Amount             Accruals
           0,00 EUR         5,000- %          7,000-
      100,00                   8,000-
    1.000,00                12,000-
If you create a real invoice for less than 100 Euro according to your current understanding the 5% rate would apply and if the invoice value was over 100 Euro the 8% rate would apply. In both cases the 7% accrual rate would apply with no consideration of the scale.
When you create rebate condition with scales, for the individual customer billing document, the system will take the first scale level / the accruals amount. Only during the final settlement, will the detailed scales condition be taken into consideration for the real customer payment.
Check this note: 392711 - Rebate conditions with scales
Most customer's would maintain their accruals amount as an average based on the business reality when using rebate scales.
    Hope it helps
    Kind regards

  • STO for multiple plants

    Hi,
I need a help on one issue.
    I have 4 plants say A,B,C,D.(Under 1 Co code)
I want to configure STO process.I have done it for 2 plants in the past.
We have to crete internal customer & vendor (acct grp 0007).
Now in SPRO,I have to do the set up for STO.
For plant A, cusromers will be B,C,D & similarthing will be for plant B,C,D.
I can assign only one customer in the STO set up.
How to do this in case of multiple plants?? I 'm doing this STO with delivery.
Similarly, how the subcontracting scenario will be there in plant to plant?
    Please throw some light.
    Thanks in advance,
    Piyush

    Dear,
    I think ur confused,
be clear that u have to maintain in customising that
the plant u r setting up is which customer code for u.
say plant XYZ .And u have created the plant XYZ as a customer ABC and Vendor as PQR
so in Customising u r settings as
XYZ is my plant which is customer as ABC and selling through the mentioned sales area.
in vendor master u are maintaining that this vendor PQR is my plant XYZ.
and in customer master ur maintaining that this customer ABC is my plant XYZ

  • GR/IR Account - one for internal vendor and another for external vendors

    Hi Experts,
Can I have two GR/IR accounts - one for internal vendors and another for external vendors?  Please let me know.
    Thank you.
    with regards,
    Muthu Ganapathy.

    Hi Muthu,
GR/IR accounts are not dependent on Vendors, they are dependent on Materials, to be precise on Plant/Valclass.
You can post to 2 different GR/IR accounts if you set up 2 different classes. then it is possible.
For setting up the same. Go to T.code : OBYC, Transaction : WRX.
Here Setup different GR/IR accounts per val.class.
Letme know if you need further info
    Thanks

  • Intra company STO for product under consigment from vendor

    Hi
I know in 4.5 we were unable to transfer inventory under vendor consignment between plants using an STO. This was driven by the STO having item category U and consignment needing item category K. It looks like this also remains true in ECC 6.0 but does anyone know of a way of doing this there?
    Help appreciated. Answers rewarded.
    Thanks
    Duncan

    Hi
I dont think there is any way to make STO for consignment in SAP. Please let me know the reason why you want to map the process as consignment STO and how you are doing it now. You can make a return delivery to vendor and can again receive the required quantity as consignment in other plant. For reporting you can create new reason code for mvt type 122.

  • How to load R/3 Plant, Customer, Vendor, all linked in T001W

    Hi,
In R/3 we have a Plant PL01. In the initial load of object DNL_PLANT this creates CRM BP #101 with role BBP003.
In R/3 we have a Customer CPL01 (linked to Plant PL01 in R/3 customizing table T001W). In the initial load of object BUPA_MAIN this creates CRM BP #102 CRM000.
In R/3 we have a Vendor VPL01 (linked to Plant PL01 in R/3 customizing table T001W). In the initial load of object VENDOR_MAIN this creates CRM BP #103 with role BBP000.
Question 1: How can we create the R/3 Plant PL01 in CRM as BP #PL01 (i.e. using an external number range)?
Question 2: How can we create the Plant, Customer & Vendor as a single CRM BP #?
    Points will be rewarded.
    Thanks,
    J

    Jim,
The problem you face is that CRM is going to download those as three separate partners.
Note 865321 gives a solution on how to load plants into CRM in an external range that you would specify.  This is however for DNL_PLANT.
Your next issue is unless your plant as customer and your plant as a vendor are in separate account groups for each, you won't be able to map these into a single business partner in CRM, unless you do some manipulation.
I guess what you could do on an initial load for those objects is the following:
    1.  If the customer or vendor is a plant:
    - Remanipulate the BDOC so that it becomes the single "plant business partner", on the ERP side.
    2.  For delta's you will need to also do this remanipulation.
    3.  If you plan on sending delta changes from CRM back to R/3 then on the CRM side you will need to decide how to distribute the changes from the single business partner back to the customer and vendor partners.
This is definitely possible, but it is going to take some effort and you will need a very seasoned middleware developer to make it happen.  I am guessing a couple of weeks for a experienced middleware guru to complete this.
    Good luck,
    Stephen

  • STO for Muliple Plants through delivery

    Dear Gurus,
I have configured the STO process through Delivery and Shipment for my 4 plants within one CC. The process is running end to end. The problem is that one of my plant can recieve stock from any one of my other 3 plants or you can say that 1 plant can transfer stock to any of the other 3 plants as the requirement arises.
Unfortunately, in SAP Customizing Implementation Guide - Materials Management - Purchasing - Purchase Order - Set up Stock Transport Order - Define Shipping Data for Plants there is provision for entering only one customer number and I have created a separate customer master for all 4 of my plants. I need to do this for automatic route determination.
Can anyone please suggest a solution or a work around for this process.

The customer in V_001W_IV-KUNNR is "plant customer", it represents the issuing / supplying plant to which it is assigned and not the customer(s) of receiving plant(s).
You have to extend this customer to the STO sales area of its own plant and of the receiving plants'. Whenever you create an sTO in which the receiving plant is this, the plant customer will appear in the delivery as ship-to. Independently from the supplying plant, the ship-to party is the same if the receiving plant is the same.
So, one of them is enough even if you have several plants and you want to have STOs between them.
You can define several customers for issuing plant based on plant/storage location combinations:
SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set Up STO > Set Up Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations > Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations
However I guess you only have to understand how this works and you need only one customer per plant...
Please understand how it works before sending lots of messages...

  • STO for Plants with different excise registers

    Dear All,
We have to transfer the materials within a company code. Two plants are different one for trading where we maintain RG23D register and other for manufacturing where we maintain RG23C register.
Can we use STO for stock transfer between the Plants. And how to maintain proper excise register in both the Plants.
    Regards
    Vikas Sehra

You can definitely have stock transfer between two plants: one a manufacturer and another a trader.
Maintain the proper assignment of registers in the corresponding excise groups.
The STO process followed is as for a depot transfer:
    1) STO, OBD, PGI, VF01 and J1IIN in the manufacturing plant where RG23A/RG23C gets updated
    2) GR, J1IG at trading plant, RG23D gets updated with the reference to the parent invoice from the manufacturer.
    3) VA01, OBD, J1IJ, VF01 during sales, here billing automatically picks up excise duty paid to government by the manufacturing plant
Please note that though you can mark up during sales from the trading plant (sell as a higher price), excise will still be the same as that paid to the government by the manufacturing plant. In case, you want to charge higher excise as well, please look at my document: CIN: Capturing Additional Excise at Depots Due to Price Change – A Certificate
