Rebate agreement setting for new customer

I have a scenario, where business has a customer who had some sales and now that the cusotmer has changed his name and new customer is created for that. old customer has been set for deletion. now business wants to transfer the old customer sales data to new customer inorder to create the rebate agreements. as i understand rebate agrements are created based on customer and cannot be created for old customer and accru another customers sales. did any one came across such scenario, please give your suggestion.

No it is not, it is accrued into the accruals account based on the accruals value you have defined in the condition record of the agreement.
Example scale :
scale value            Amount             Accruals
       0,00 EUR         5,000- %          7,000-
  100,00                   8,000-                       
1.000,00                12,000-     
If you create a real invoice for less than 100 Euro according to your current understanding the 5% rate would apply and if the invoice value was over 100 Euro the 8% rate would apply. In both cases the 7% accrual rate would apply with no consideration of the scale.               
When you create rebate condition with scales, for the individual customer billing document,the system will take the first scale level / the accruals amount. Only during the final settlement, will the detailed scales condition be taken into consideration for the real customer payment.

Most customer's would maintain their accruals amount as an average based on the business reality when using rebate scales.

    Are you trying to grant access so that users can use this custom entity but no other data at all?
    You will still have to include access to all sorts of bits of CRM just to make the user interface work - especially the things on the Business Management and Customization tabs of your security role. You also need to check these 6 settings:
    Special privileges in CRM Security Roles
    If this is the only security role you plan to give to your users, I would suggest you start from a standard role and remove access to other entities, rather than start from blank and work upwards.

    Essentially, when we are setting up Rebate agreement types in ECC in customizing, We need to specify a Settlement document type.
    Given that with CRM 2007, the rebate agreement will not be used for settlement is there any thing that they can do to not specify the Settlement document type. Since we have to specify a Settlement document type, can anyone one give  guidance regarding customizing/configuring the Settlement Document Type?. Also that it should not create the Accounting document.

    check the number range in ECC for this Reabte.
    Can you give me the BDOC error which is triggered and The out bound queue also sholud be in error.
    Check the out bound queue and try and reprocess that i think it wll have the dump in ECC system.

  • ECC6.0 - Foreign Key in BSEG for new custom field

    When I create a new custom field in NewGL, it is created in some tables like BSEG and others. In BSEG there is no flag in the field "Foreign Keys" (I inserted it when I set the field), while in the others tables I find the flag.
    How can I solve it? I think that I have to mark the field directly in BSEG. Is it true?

    Hi Srini,
    As per note 32662 it seems you have followed all the steps, but might be that you didn't do in proper sequence.
    The note states that:
    "If a new access sequence and condition table was created before the communication structure was modified, it must be deleted again. Items 1 to 5 must be carried out in the specified sequence."
    So I guess the key for you would be to delete the Condition table and access and create them again.

  • Rebate agreement- Recalculation for previous scales

    I have a requirement to recalculate rebates on already accomplished scales.
    Te requirement is as follows,
    Say a customer has a scale for 0 to 1 million in a period for which he receives 1 %.  Now there is a second scale from 1 Million to 2 Million in the same period for which he receives 2 %.
    Now since the customer has acheived both the scales, the company wants to give him 2 % on the entire 2 million instead of giving 1 % on the first million and 2 % on the second million. Some pointers on how this can be acheived would be appreciated.

    In CRM E-Commerce BOB Web shop we have a requirement wherein new customer creation should go through a duplicate check. Only unique customers should be created as BP in backend GUI, in case a customer already exists with the same credentials, BP should not be created and user should get a message that the customer already exist in the system.
    Currently the system is not preventing me from creating new customers with same credentials.
    In case anybody has worked on the similar requirement or has any idea about the same, Kindly help.

  • Rebate agreements: Turnover for archived invoices cannot be displayed

    We have implemented a check routine in archiving which prevents rebate relevant invoices from being archived before the rebate agreement is settled.
    As soon as the rebate agreement is settled invoices may be archived. That means that the turnover display (verfication level ,All documents') of a settled rebate agreement does not necessarily show all invoices (if some of them are already archived).
    As a possible solution for that problem an enhancement can be implemented (as fas as i have investigated the coding) where you can read additional data from archived invoices and add them to to the verification list.
    Does anyone has had experience with that problem respectively implemented a solution for that ?

    We faced a lot of issue with rebates because of the archiving frequency of invoices.If you check the verifiction level
    it should still diplay the invoices.
    Why do they want to view the sales volume for the settled rebate agreement?
    After exploring all the alternatives we decided to reduce the validity periods within the archiving period of invoices (for example
    we had 3 years validity period whereas the archiving program archives invoices past 2 years).This resolved
    a lot of issues for us especially the entries in VBOX were reduced which had sometimes resulted in tbale overflows.
    I do not know if this will solve your problem but any how wanted to share our experience.

    and to do the settlement for the billing documents created in these multiple company codes.

    Further to the issue I would like to clarify couple of other issues related to
    the processing of one Rebate agreement for multiple company codes.
    1. This is a client requirement, which need to be addressed through
    enhancements since standard possibility is ruled out, we have tried with this scenario but sales area is a mandatory entry while creating the agreement type (Tcode-VBO1).
    2.  If it is feasible could you please provide the configuration steps for the scenario or any enhancements related to this scenario for implementing.

    IRM wizard shows "Merge completed successfully" but when moving to ddl, it is throwing below error with a message to execute ddldict manually and then restart IRM:

    Hi,
    I had to restore the database and execute the complete DB Upgrade. Second attempt was successful without any issues.
    Make sure you have sufficient space in the database tablespace, Temp, Index and UNDOTBS tablespaces.

    The person needs to check with the school district they work for to see if they give anything for using verizon.  Most of the school districts where I live do if you sign with verizon as my husband is a teacher and we get 20% off just the main account holder's  line which is him.  You just have to provide a recent paystub as proof and give them a work email address but you have to do this through verizon.  Amazon I have no clue so would have to ask them about any special rebates they are running.  Have never bought a phone from them but check the contract you sign with amazon as it's a separate one from the one you sign for verizon service so you should be aware of what they require.    Mary
