Stock is shown as outstanding although 261 movement type has been performed

Hi all,
I was doing 261 movement type against production order without passing reservation number but the client said that if we do not pass reservation number stock is shown as outstanding against reservation leading to inaccurate results on MRP run etc....But this is not clear to me... Can anyone tell me that if I post 2 good issues one without passing reservation number and another passing reservation number how can I test the difference betwen two scenarios like what do I need to check after I pass the reservation number.. I did as client said but dont know why and what difference do I see in SAP..Any thing which I need to check in MMBE after passing the reservation or any other transcation...

This statement was clear but passing reservation has impact on reserved stock..I myself checked programitically ie I am calling BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for doing 261 . I had 2 components for my production order..For 1 item I passed reservation number and for 2nd item I did not pass reservation in 2nd item..Then I checked the stocks in MMBE.. In both cases unrestricted stock is getting reduced but the reserved stock is getting reduced only in 1st case and not in 2nd case.
My issue is for my order type and plant all components is checked in OPK4..So I need to do 261 all components (backflush and non-backflush) ...Earlier I was replicating CO11N programitically and I was able to pass goods movement data along with confirmation creation passing reservation number.My requirement was fulfilled but then suddenly we found that in 1 case this approach was failing and that was If i was doing 261 for a serialized component it gives me message 'Serial no obligatory materail cannot b updated' and in my case serialized components will be there..
For the above problem we are now doing 261 replicationg MIGO_GI and not CO11N where we can pass serial number also and reservation also .. But the problem with this approach is that we are not able to pass reservation number for backflushed items..If we pass reservation no for backflush items I am getting the error 'For reservation xxx item xxx,goodsmvt not possible'..Not clear why SAP has some type of limitation in both the approaches..
Where in I can d 261 for all components ( serialized or non serialized ) and also pass reservation number for both backflush and non backflush items..Can you suggest me an approach by which I can meet the desired functionality..
It would be great if you can suggest some thing...As you have knowledge about the whole process you can surely help me by at least saying that if I do not pass reservation then how can I reduce the reserved stock by the 2nd approach or by saying that why SAP does not allow 261 from CO11N for serialized component...

Recently, using my 60D in very cold Wisconsin weather, I've had the message "movie recording has been stopped automatically." I've used my 60D in all kinds of temps but recently in Wisconsin the overnight temps are getting into the the minus single digits so when I go out to shoot homes in the early am it is cold. I am using a SanDisk Ultra 16G 30mb/s 10. It seems that once the camera "warms" up a bit, it shoots fine and I don't get the message. This happens when I come in from the cold outdoors and begin shooting inside. I've had no issues with the pictures, just the video portion. Any ideas? Condensation perhaps?

60D operating temperatures according to two WEB sources is 32F to 104F. I suggest a camera overcoat or some way to keep the camera in that temperature bracket when shooting. I hope the cold temps break for you soon.

cannot find itunes rental movie that has been downloaded. I purchased one movie and it shows up --- the 2 rental movies do not. Help please - I am going overseas tonight and would love to watch these movies. I understood I have 30 days to open and 48 hours to view outside of the country. Thank you

70d - movie recording has been stopped automatically

I just purchased a new Canon 70D...once I start recording, it records for a few seconds...small boxes appear on the upper right side of the display screen and then it shuts down and says "Movie recording has been stopped automatically"...is this due to a setting or something? I have been using a 7D for a number of years and this is a new issue for me...

You may want to check the type of memory card you're using for this. HD movie recording requires a fast memory card, and if yours can't keep up, it will be overwhelmed within a few seconds, causing the camera to halt recording. We recommend using at least a "Class 10" memory card.
Please let us know what you are using. If the card is indeed at least Class 10 and you're still having problems, we can at least eliminate that as a possibility and we can examine other factors.

Can I watch a movie that has been purchased or rented from itunes and downloaded to my ipad without internet access?

I would like to be able to watch a movie while I'm camping and stuck in the camper due to inclement weather. More than likely, I will not have access to the internet. Is it possible to watch a movie that has been rented or purchased and downloaded to my ipad?

I have seen conflicting answers about this issue recently.
If you purchase a movie and it is fully downloaded to your iPad - yes you can watch it without an Internet connection.
With a rental there seems to be two schools of thought. The first is just like the answer to a purchased movie - once fully download no Internet connection is needed. The other reply is that you need an internet connection in order to authorize playback and those who state this say that you can't play a rental without the Internet connection.
I have never rented a movie but the second school of thought makes no sense to me. If the movie is downloaded and the authorization has already taken place, I see no reason to need the Internet connection. I have read stories of iPad users talking about watching rented movies on airplane flights so that would be without an Internet connection.

Stock with Special Stock indicator E, not allowing to perform 261 Movement Type

Hi Team,
Please provide your expert opinion.
Unintentionally, a component was set with value Blank in Individual/Coll. field in MRP 4 view. The component is WM managed, when order was released, Transfer Request was generated & the part list was updated with Account Assignment M for that component. It was showing reference of sales order created for the header material.
After TR was converted to TO, TO was also processed. Now the stock is lying in WM under Special Indicator E, due to which we are not able to perform 261 movement for this component, it throws error
Sales order stock XXXXXX 000010 does not exist
This Sales order is already processed & completed.
We are in deadlock, since process order cannot be closed.
Please suggest how to consume this component against the order or bring back the stock to normal

Your order for which you want do a 261 movement has information that this material is in sales order xxxxxxx item 000010
now it is essential to know in the very detail what was done in sequence.
As you usually need to clear the situation in the reverse sequence.
Not just movements, as well master data changes.
If we understand the full situation, then it might even be possible to do a short cut.
But it is currently not really known if you have an inconsistency between IM and WM, or just missed some postings in WM (which has not really something to do with the error you have)
We do not know how the to be situation should be
And for the as-is we have only knowledge about the error message, but no details to previous movements which lead to this situation.
And we have no info about the current book stocks to make a clear suggestion.
Some situation require detailed analysis, a proposal made just out of the blue can cause an even more difficult situation and a longer way to clean it up.

Special stock indicator O to add existing custom movement types

please let me know is it possible to add special stock indicator O to existing movement types.

have you ever created a new movement type?
try it.
it can only be done by copy of a SAP given movement type, hence it has basically the same functionality as the original movement.
the main purpose for new movement types are to post to other accounts and to segregate authorization.
In other words you cannot add O to an existing movement, you need to create a new movement by copy from a movement that allows this O

Stock transport order for 313 and 315 movement type

Change the inspection stock of material 16 in QM only Movement type 105

Hello,
I am trying to do GR with Movement type 105 and gettig the error message " Change the inspection stock of material 16 in QM only"
When I change the stock type from Quality to Unrestricted during 105 movement type, then I do not get this error message.
Scenario : I want Inspection lot to get generated with movement type 103 and not with movement type 105. And with my current settings, Inspection lot is getting generated with 103 and not with 105.
I want that, if I do GR with movement type 105, then the stock should go directly to unrestricted stock and not to Quality stock. BUt currently, it is giving me above mentioned error message.

Can you explain your business scenario.
Here is how standard SAP process is
1. Use movement 103 movement to receive PO in GR blocked stock
No inspection lot is created
2. Move material from GR blocked to own stock using 105 movement
This movement is identical to 101 movement. SAP will create Inspection lot if QM is activated.

RG23A Part 1 updation for 261 movement type

Hi,
We have a business scenario where the same raw materials are procured from both excisable and non-excisable vendors. When purchasing from excisable vendors, CENVAT credit is availed and RG23A Part 1 and RG23A Part 2 entries are updated. When purchasing from non-excisable sources at the time of goods receipt in MIGO 'No Excise Entry' option is chosen.
When subsequently materials are issued to production order using movement type 261, we try to consume this inventory from RG23A part 1 using transaction J1I5. However we come across cases where the material document qty is more than the balance qty in Rg23A part 1. This is because part of the inventory comes from non-excisable purchase.
In this case how do we update RG23A Part 1 for the partial CENVATABLE inventory?

Thanks to both of you for your answers. We are unfortunately not able to maintain multiple materials as the number of raw materials are very high and also maintaining bill of materials with multiple BOM's was considered not practical by the client. I then discussed the situation with the client's excise department with what Binoy had indicated. We have decided to make a "Part 1 entry only" during MIGO. The excise person indicated that this would be ok.

HT1657 Cant find movie that has been purchased and billed

Downloaded some movie rentals and although one is there and has watch attached in purchased window the others are not there or so it would seem. I can see them in history and has the tag " view " two of these were on the same bill one is the one viewed in purchases but another is not , any help appreciated

Error code 1003 when trying to watch a movie that has been purchased?

I just purchased a movie from iTunes but when I try to play or download the movie I get an error stating "Unable to check for available downloads. An unknown error occurred (1003)." Any suggestions?

As far as I can tell, Error Code 36 is an "I/O Error". It may mean you have a bad USB cable between the iPad and your computer, or the cable was not plugged in firmly.

Error In Creating New Movement Type

Hi,
To upload the Consignee Stock, we have created a new Movement Type, say Z01 & Z02 copying the Movement Type 701 & 702.
We are able to upload the Stock using Z01 with correct FI Entry.
While doing the reversal, the following error is encountered:
The mvt type in the reference docmt cannot be converted
Message no. MIGO029
Diagnosis
You want to post a goods movement but the movement type that you want to use for the posting has not been maintained completely in the system.
Possible causes are:
The movement type is not permitted for this transaction.
No subsequent movement type has been defined.
You do not have authorization to post a goods movement using this movement type.
Procedure
Check your screen and field values.
If you do not have sufficient authorization, contact your system administrator.
If a movement type has not been maintained completely, the missing data must be maintained in Customizing for Inventory Management.
Make the appropriate settings in Customizing as necessary or inform your system administrator.
Pls. advise what to do?

While exploring the Mov Type 701 & 702, I came to know that 702 is not the REVERSAL of 701 as I normally assume, hence I would be wrong if we think of 702 as reversal for 701.
Also I came to know that reversal is not possible for the documents created thru Physical Inventory i.e. using Mov Type 701.
Basis the above observations, I can conclude that I am going on a wrong track.
But still I am not able to find out the solutions.
I don't to use 501, as it will generate the FI Entries which I don't want.
Hoping some quick answers from you people.
Also would like to request to stop me, if my LOGIC is wrong.
