  • Free goods - No stock for main item , GI happens for Free goods

    Hello gurus,
While creating sales order, main item is entered. The free goods gets created as sub item. Now even though there is no stock of main item, during creation of delivery, system brings the free goods in the delivery without getting the main item. It allows to do a GI and billing.
The delivery setting in the free good condition record is maintained as ('B' Delivery only if main item is fully delivered). due to this setting system should not allow to carry out delivery for both the items.
Has any one encountered this problem and how it was resolved.
Valuable inputs will help me to resolve on of our production issue.
    thanks and regards in advance.

    Hi
The only other way i see to stop is to tick / activate complete delivery indicator in Sales Order and use incompletion procedure or make this field as mandatory in customer master but in the second case it will be applicable for all orders for customer .

  • Error while add a stock to an item

    hi@all,
here is a difficult problem i wasn't able to solve.
I want to add a new stock to an item in the ItemMasterData at the StockData. After i added the Name of the stock to the table and i click on Update SBO shows me this Message:
    Another user-modified table 'items' (OITM) (ODBC - 2039) [Message 131 - 193]
Is there someone who can help me a little bit?
    thanks and best regards
    Bernhard

    Hi,
In most cases, the error messages comes because after opening the form
at your side, another user opened the same form and applied some
changes. You can close the form, open it again, apply your changes and
then update it to avoid this error message.
But in some cases, even if you close all the clients and login again,
    the problem still exists.
Please see if a UDF is causing this. I would suggest to log a message with SAP Business One prodoct support.

  • PO stock transport order -  item change - field Customer in tab shipping

    Dear all,
because of an existing modification it is necessary that I have to update the field customer at shipping tab of an stock transport order item when item's storage location was changed within TAC ME22N or ME21N.
Unfortunately SAP has not implemented this functionality within BAPIs or Userexits.
Does anyone has an idea where we have to place this modification?
Until the installation of the last support package, the modification changed the customer within include MM06EFPV_PTV_FUELLEN, form ptv_fuellen before calling function SD_TRANSFERDATA_DETERMINE and it worked.
Best regards and thank you for your replay!

    Piotr,
You can default the shipping point in your STO based on the combination of shipping conditon (maintained in customer master), loading group (maintained in material master) and the plant in SPRO->Logistics Execution->Shipping->Basic Shipping Functions->Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination->Assign Shipping Points.
If you don't use any of the entries (for instance if you don't use the loading group), then just leave the entry blank in config.
    Hope this helps.

  • The stock of component item cannot be negative

I'm having this strange problem with a number of work orders.  I issue all of the components.  All of them.  If I bring up the issue window again, it's empty.  I try to release and it gives the above error.  I don't get it, if there wasn't enough stock of component items then why did it let me issue them in the first place?
    Thanks!

"Inventory or stock is a moving concept."
Yes, I understand that.  But when I do an "Issue Components", when I hit ok on that screen, from my understanding, the components required to create the item are removed from inventory at that moment.  If I dont' have enough, it tells me and won't let me complete the Issue.  But it did.  So at the moment I issued, all component items were in inventory and were removed.
Now I go to Report Completion, seconds later and it tells me there's not enough of something in inventory.  How can that be when I just issued ALL of the components?  And if I try to re-issue, there's nothing there to issue.
So maybe I have the above mis-understood.  I look at the order and there's an item in there, Base Qty is 8, required Qty is 16 (2 items are being constructed) Issued quantity is 0, Available is -636.  How do I re-issue these sub-components?  The issue screen is blank.
Why did it let me "Issue" these components if they weren't in stock in the first place?
    Thanks

  • Commulative On Hand Stock for same Items

    Dear All,
I have a problem in On Hand Stock. My client have some items registered in Oracle with different code but these are alternate of each other, Stock of one item has zero quantity but the second item which is alternate has some quantity in it. Now my client wants the On hand quantity should be commulative quantity of all the items those are alternate of each other. is there any way to handle this in Oracle Inventory?
    regards,

You can define item relationships but still you will not be able to add the quantities in each other virtually. All you can do is to run the item quantities report on those items that you want to group and schedule the report so that your client can see the items grouped frequently.

  • PO for consumables items

    Hello all,
If I m in need of purchasing lot of consumable items in one lot and several times a month and thier prices in range of 3 to 200 rs, & if I don want 2 make PO again and again, is CONTRACT (ME31K), the solution for the above or shud I make some other arrangment? Also vendor changes sometimes.
    Thanks

    Hi Sarang ,
When creating a blanket PO, the document type FO should be used since this document type causes the header fields Validity From and Validity End to become mandatory entry fields.
The item category B must be entered in the PO item overview. The entry of this item category causes the Limit tab page to appear on the item detail screen. There, an overall limit and an expected value can be well maintained.
Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) will be used to purchase items that will be purchased on a repetitive basis over an extended time period u2013 usually up to a year or longer. There are two type of Blanket Purchase Order that can be utilized:
When creating a Blanket PO ( Document Type FO ) you need not enter the Order qty nor the net price. As sson as expected value is specified ( Under Item details - Limit Tab )  during creation of blanket po , it is automatically adopted as net price.
The main advantage of using blanket POs is thus the associated reduction in order processing costs. Transaction costs are lower with blanket POs because:
The blanket PO is valid for a longer period.
There is no goods receipt or service entry.
It is not necessary to create PO items for individual procurement transactions

  • Negaative Stock Commitment in Item Master

    Hi,
System is showing negative stock commitment in item maaster's inventory tab. I am unable to identify how it becomes negative. Is there any answer to this?
    Thanks.
    Siddiq

    Hi Muhammad Siddiq
If you block negative inventory in document, system will allow the negative stock, for example
item xx having two warehouse 01 and 02
    now 01 having 10 qty
    02 no-stock
now system will allow to issue the stock in 02 warehouse up to 10qty
after issue system will shown the report like this
    01 Instock (0)
    02 Instock (-10)
Total 0--->(System will not allow negative quantity for Total only)
    *Solution for solve this *
    Enable
    Block Negative Inventory

  • Stock and consumable material

what is difference between stock and consumable material?
    How to cancel an invoice,GR,PO,PR,PIR?
What  questions we may expect for interview in MM nad for written test also

    Hi,
Answer to your first question form material valuation point of view.
    1. Difference between Stock and consumables materials.
Automatic account assignment occurs for a stock material with a material type that allows for inventory management.  At posting time, data from the material master record determines which G/L accounts to hit.  For automatic account assignment, the account assignment category field is left blank.
For consumable material may or may not have a material master record.  A consumable material with a material master record would be for example, a material whose material type does not allow for inventory management (ex: pencils, paper, staplers, etc.).  When creating a requisition for one of these consumable materials, you must enter something in the account assignment category field.
When an account assignment category is specified, an additional pop-up window appears for entering the account assignment data.

  • Reason for rejection for sale order stock existing line item

    Hi,
I am giving reason for rejection for a line item where there is already sale order stock. Then I am getting a warning message like " there is sale order stock assigned". I want this message to be as error message. Any customisation (SPRO) is there for this?
    Kindly update.
    Ratna

    Dear Rama Rao
I think, there is no problem you can ignore the warning message and go ahead give reason of rejection and close the order
There wont be any problem absolutely
The reason  of warning message is, (it is sales order created with item category with special stock indicator as E )  that means the system tells you that it is extra special stock which you have created and now you are trying to reject hence it alerts you by giving a warning  message
The item category of the items which you are trying to reject  is marked  or should have been marked with special stock indicator (you can check that in VOV7)
By double clicking warning message if it is of V4 message class in t code OVAH you can make that as no message
But i doubt that this is available in OVAH

  • Out of stock Sales Order Item to trigger a BDC to create a PO

    Dear ABAPers,
I have a couple of questions:
    1. In the sales order program code, how do you find out if an item being ordered is out of stock? Which tables and fields do you check?
    2. when an item is determined to be out of stock,  we want to trigger a BDC to create a PO. How do you do that?
I know these are big questions. You can give me either an overview or detail solution, it's up to you.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Assuming all the basic settings are configured
Step1: Run T Code VA01 and input the u201Cdocument typeu201D as OR along with your sales area. Then enter your business partner number along with the material number and quantity. Save the order.
Step2: T Code VA03 input the order number which you have created. Select the line item and (menu bar) Goto u2013 Items u2013 Schedule lines. You will find the u201Cpurchase requisitionu201D for that item just copy the number.
Note: If you unable to see the u201Cpurchase requ201D in the sales order then make sure you need to change the Item category group of a material in MM02 as BANC in Sales: sales org 2 tab.
Step3: Run T Code ME21N under the item paste the u201Cpurchase requisitionu201D number generated at sales order level and hit enter that will automatically give all the details, save. You can save the Purchase order.
This scenario will only help to create purchase order until I know why you want to create a purchase order I canu2019t proceed further.

  • STO from unrestricted to E stock from TAB item in Sales Order?

    Hi all,
We have the situation where we are shipping stock intra-company via the STO Process. The requirements are being driven of a TAB item on the Sales Order, and the purchase req is being generated automatically, and being converted to STO > Delivery > Shipped then received at requesting plant.
If we leave the Dependent Requirements Indicator on MRP4 in Material Master to blank the stock is shipped from the shipping plant as Sales Order stock and received into the requesting plant as Sales Order stock. If we change the Dependent Requirements Indicator on MRP4 in material Master to '2' then it trys to ship the stock as unrestricted, and the theory is that is should be received as Sales Order stock.
Shipping as Unrestricted and receiving as Sales Order stock is exactly the scenario we are trying to achieve.
We initially ran into an issue with error message M7146. OSS Note 305582 describes this situation, and says we need to change the consumption posting on Account Assignment Catgegory M to be 'E - Accounting via Sales Order'.
So we changed this, and now when we try and create the Sales Order we get an error message kd051 Maintain a Settlement Profile. We are told by our Finance people that we cannot use the Sales Order as a cost collector as it impacts the PA reporting, so I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how we can resolve this issue.
    Many Thanks.
