Stock Transport Order u2013 Duplicate goods receipt quantity

We implemented the scenario: the stock transport order process with SD. To post the goods issue , we have created a new goods movement  type (937) with reference to the movement type: 641, to differentiate these movements of other goods movements that are made in the company, because in this case, for issuing plant it is necessary to manually confirm these goods issues in WM (We need use storage bins in issuing plant). The outbound delivery, in issuing plant, is created through the transaction VL10B with reference to Stock transport Order, and goods issues is posted using transaction VL02N. In receiving plant, we use transaction MIGO to post goods receipt.
Then, when we post the goods receipt for one replenishment delivery in Transaction MIGO, the system issues error message: M7022 telling us: u201Cthat the stock in transit has been exceeded by XXXu201D. The difference between the stock in transit and the Quantity in Unit of Entry is exactly equal to the quantity that was reported in the goods issue in Issuing Plant (outbound delivery). That is, Quantity in Unit of Entry is duplicated with respect to outbound delivery quantity. But if the goods receipt is posted with reference to the stock transport order, the Quantity in Unit of Entry is calculated correctly and corresponds with the quantity of outbound delivery of the issuing plant. This does not happen when using the standard goods movement type 641. As mentioned above, we have configured Warehouse Management for issuing plant.
The only difference between the standard scenario and implemented one in the company is the goods movement type, which is a copy of movement type 641. So, my question is: Can not copy the goods Movement type 641 (Transfer to stock in transit)? Please, I appreciate your support to resolve this issues.
Best regards,

All goods movements are being posted in the same unit of measure (base unit of measure ), since the material has no alternative units of measure configured. And we think that has to do with the movement type, because when using the standard movement type (641), the whole process is flowing properly. However, when using the new movement type, the system behaves the way it was explained earlier.
Through various tests, we identified that the quantity is duplicated  when the table T321 (Assignment MM Movement Type --> MM-WM Movement Type) and  the IMG view V_156S_WM (Reference Movement Types for Warehouse Management) are set, since it also was created a new movement type for WM. For this reason we think that the problem lies in the configuration of the new movement type.
Anyway, thanks for your help.

  • How to control Inspection for Stock Transport Order Just like Reg Receipt

    Hi Folks,
We do Stock transport order to bring stock to the dock from a Hub. I would like the inspection process (using inspection plan to drive) similar to the regular receipt.
I tried setting up material master with 08 , but in this case everything went to quality and all transfer posting done between storage locations created an inspection lot.
Basically i want to setup 2 inspection types for a material, 01 for regular receipt and something else for all stock transport order. Both should use the same inspection plan to determine  the quality process.
Let me know if this is possible.
    Thanks
    Jithin

Again I am saying very much depends upon the process that you follow.
My way to look at it is "Main Intention of your is to cut down the inspection lots while transfering storage location to storage location".So what would I have preffered is
1.Either make copy of mvt type 311 & deactivate QM for that .Every time when I transfer material from Sto to Sto then use this movt type so that lot will not be generated.
    or
2.Deactivate QM for 311 & only use the mvt type which is copy of 311 for STO orders along with 01.
can i setup the material with both 01 and 08 inspection type and will it work with inspection plan for both type of PO's?
Yes ,as per above explaination !!

  • Cannot Input Goods Receipt for a Stock Transport Order

    Dear all,
I created a stock transport order from one plant to another. But in the following "MIGO" transaction, the system indicates "Document xxxxxxxxx does not contain any selectable items".
In the stock transport order, I simply input the supplying plant, material, the receiving plant for the material. The item category is "U" (Stock Transfer).
    Anybody have any idea?
    Thanks, Jerome

    Hi
What is your process? is it via shipping or via only purchasing?
If it is ony via purchasing, have you moved stock from Supplying plant to stock in transit. Then you can make MIGO.
If it is via shipping, create delivery VL10B and PGI, Then do MIGO.

  • Purchase Order Goods Receipt quantity tolerance setting not working.

    Team,
We are using the IS-Oil solution, ECC 6.0 REL 605 SP LEVEL 009 .
The issue that I have is as follows:
Purchase Order Goods Receipt quantity tolerance setting not working, I had set up a 10% tolerance on QTY received in the GR process via the PIR and also the Purchase Value Key in the  material master and also changed the message to a warning in OMCQ for message number M0722.
I  had performed a similar configuration and master data maintenance on a different NON IS-OIL client install and it worked fine.
I believe it is the IS-OIL component in the Inventory update portion of the GR process that is causing the error.
I have searched for OSS notes, however they mention that there is no solution.
Setting the PO line item as Unlimited will not be best practice for the business and will not be used.
Has anyone come across this issue? and how was it resolved, your help and guidance will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello,
Please check the Tolerance levels in O588
Also you can use the BAdI OIB_QCI_ROUND_QTY: A new method, CHECK_TOLERANCE

  • Automatic Post Goods Issue Of Stock Transport Order

    Here is the scenario:
We are using stock transport order to logically move inventory from one company to another company inside the same physical location. The material# is the same but the plant# is different.
    Process is as follows:
    Associate enters the purchase order
If inventory exists - delivery is created automatically
The delivery is also auto picked
Currently, we have the inventory to PGI in a batch job several times a day.
However, the user would like to have the inventory - move as soon as the delivery is created.
Does anyone know of any technique - to post the inventory immediately.
I was thinking along the line of a workflow/create of an idoc (WHSCON) to faciliate this.
    Kind Regards, Steve

You could simply scedule the batch job to PGI right after the delviery creation job runs (just delay it a few seconds after the longest period of time the delivery creation job runs).
So there would only be a very short delay, Looking at vl10g now to see is auto PGI is an option but I am thinking it is not
(I will update my post if I find it is)
Edit: It doesn't look like a standard option but I would imagine you could change a function code profile with custom user exit to trigger goods issue

  • Inv. receipt field for stock transport order

    guyz,
when we are creating a normal PO(from me21n), in 'Invoice' tab of item overview screen, we can find following three fields
    inv. receipt
    GR. based IV
    final invoice
however when i'm creating a stock transport order from ME21N, i'm not able to see 'Invoice' tab at all... i thought it couuld be related to document type and its field selection but not able to find these fields in field selection group for po document types....
    any help?

    Hi,
In case of STO (Document Type "UB"), you will not find the "Invoice" Tab if it is between plants of same Co. Code and if you are using "Supplying Plant" instead of "Vendor". But if you want to do Invoice Verification for Freight/Delivery Cost, etc... you can fill the values for freight conditions in "Conditions" tab page and also assign a Vendor to the condition type itself by going into "Details"
    Standard Pricing Procedure - RM2000
And in MIRO after GR (MIGO) > Select this STPO and also select "Only Planned Delivery Cost", it will populate the values and you can do LIV.

  • Stock Transport Order between Two Company codes

    Dear All
Scenario-- Stock transport order Between two company codes.
The valuation of Comapny Codes is at Moving Average Price.
    I have a scenario
MAP of Issuing Plant-- Rs. 10 / kg
I am able to pick up the price of Rs.10 (MAP) of issuing plant while creating PO.
    in receving plant.
At the time of Goods issu the MAP has changed & become Rs.12/kg. Hence the goods issue takes place at Rs.12/- perkg.
When we make GR at receiving plant ,the valuation of GR is at Rs.10 i.e at PO price.
Is it possible to have a GR valuation at Goods issue price for that delivery note?
    Request Your feedback urgently.

The invoice has the material costs at time of goods issue.
You receipt is valuated to PO price. But when you post the invoice, then the MAP is adjusted,
By setting up EDI, SAP will probably post the invoice before the goods receipt is done, hence the GR should be valuated with the invoice price.
    from Note 518368 - FAQ: Valuation for the purchase order;
With which price is the goods receipt posted for a purchase order?
    Answer:
If the goods receipt is executed before the invoice receipt, the goods movement is valuated with the purchase order price. If an invoice is already posted, the system uses the price of the invoice. If a partial invoice is received, the partial quantity corresponding to the invoice is valuated with the invoice price, the rest is valuated with the purchase order price.
For more detailed information, refer to both the documentation of the material valuation and Note 380883.

  • Stock transport order issue

    Hi
My bussiness process is i have created stock transport order purchase order in me21n t.code doc type UB,item category 'U'then i do mb11 t.code 351 movement type Transfer posting to stock in transit from unrestricted-use.then i do the goods receipt in migo t.code.
Now my system taking goods receipt with Zero quantity without 351 movement goods not happening,is there any configuration i miss,
    Regards
    Sam

    Hi,
For the STO , with 351 movement type its issue goods receipt from issuing plant n the stock will b in transit( on a way), so goods receipt will not happen in receiving plant and stock value is zero. For goods receipt to happen please do GR wrt 101 movement type. Then stcok will b updated.
    Hope this clears.

  • Stock Transport Order Setup

    Hi
I have to setup Stock transport order between plants in same company code through inventory route (by 351 movement). Kindly guide me for the
1.Standard customizing and master data setup required for the same.
    2. Any additional Customizing &  Master data setup required for the same in the Cin Scenario.(i.e. customer/ vendor relation etc.)
    Regards
    Arvind

    Hi,
If you are doing STO through 351 mvt in MIGO , PLease follow the below steps:
    Steps:
-Create a Stock Transport Order (ME21N, Purchase Order doc type UB)
-Process Goods Issue against STO (MIGO > Goods Issue > PO) u2013 movement type 351
-Process Goods Receipt against STO (MIGO > Goods Receipt > PO) u2013 movement type 101
    Customisation:
    1. Config: MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up Stock Transport Order > Assign Document Type, One-Step Procedure, Underdelivery Tolerance.
Here the source plant, destination plant and allowed STO document type is specified.
    2. MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up Stock Transport Order >define shipping data for plant. Here create receiving plant as a customer and assign.

  • Intra company stock transport order with delivery to subcontracting vendor

    Hi Friends,
We have an issue with Intra company stock transport scheduling agreement with delivery to subcontracting vendor.
We have a scenario where the component is provided by another plant (Plant A -Intra company) directly to subcontracting vendor and the subcontracting vendor processes the component and sends us(
    Plant B) the finished good.
We have a subcontracting scheduling agreement created with the subcontracting vendor with Item category u201CLu201D for plant B .(Document type LPA)
And we created the stock transport scheduling agreement with document type LU (Between Plant A to Plant B) by entering the subcontracting vendor number to the "EMLIF- Vendor to be supplied/who is to receive delivery" field but the check box "LBLKZ-Subcontracting vendor" is hidden in the delivery address tab.
Field selection with document type (LU) and Field selection with transaction code (ME37) did not help to bring the field to the delivery address tab.
As a result, when we do PGI from the supplying plant, the stock is posted to "in transit" (Movement type 641) instead of "Component provided to vendor" (Movement type 641 u2013 O)
The same behavior for purchase order with document type UB as well/
Is the movement type u201C641-O u201C supported by standard SAP or do we have any other workaround to address the requirement. ?
Now we are in ECC 6.0 EHP3.
Your inputs will be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Gobinathan G

    Hello,
This EhP4 feature addresses only the one step Stock Transport Order to subcontracting vendor for intra company.
Does anybody know how to do a two steps Stock Transport Order to subcontracting vendor for intra company?
    By "two steps" I mean:
1- Goods Issue from supplying plant A to in-transit stock of the subcontracting vendor at receiving plant B.
2- Inbound Delivery Notification (IDN) at receiving plant B + Goods receipt against this IDN into the subcontracting stock at receiving plant B.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Intra Company Stock Transport Order

    Hi,
This is a scenario of Intra Company Stock Transfer (using Stock Transport Order with document type UB) from one manufacturing plant to another manufacturing plant within the same company code.
I have created STO, prepared Outbound Delivery with T-Code VL10B and did PGI. Billing was done with T-code VF01 and Outbound Excise Invoice was created with T-Code J1IIN
While doing Goods Receipt in the Receiving plant with the T-code MIGO, when I referred the outbound excise invoice that was created in the previous step with the T-code J1IIN (put Excise Invoice No. and Date), I got the following error message "Excise invoice doesn't exist in the supplying plant" and not any Excise Value is flowing from the Excise Invoice in the screen of MIGO.
The CIN configuration and master data in J1ID seems to be ok.
Please provide the expert opinions to overcome the issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Rajesh Praveen

I did Goods Receipt with reference to Outbound Delivery in the Receiving Plant without referring any Excise Invoice Number (as our system has been designed now like this). I updated part RG23A part 1 using the material document number (generated as a result of Goods Receipt) in J1I5.
Now I am trying to post RG23A part 2 in J1IEX with reference to the material document number (generated as a result of Goods Receipt) and putting the Excise Number created in J1IIN earlier. The system is picking BED, ECS and SECess values but the value of Base Value is not being picked up as a result of which I am not able to post the Excise Invoice.
Please provide some idea to resolve this
    Thanks in advance

  • Excise Duty handling for Inter company Stock Transport Orders in SAP 4.6C

I want to handle Excise Duty handling for Inter company Stock Transport Orders in SAP 4.6C. I know that SAP has provided standard solutions in 4.7C by giving one standard table OIH09 which can be maintained through Customisation.
In 4.6C, even the Goods issue & Goods receipt button in item details of Stock Transport order is not available.
Is there any work around for the same.

In IS-OIL, cross company postings were stopped with Note #  623910 & would

  • Stock transport order between storage locations and assignment category type E not in MRP

    Hello Gurus,
I have a stock transport order between 2 storage location which belongs to the same plant. Besides the stock transport order is allocated to a sales order (account assigment category E). When I run the MD03, the system take into account the quantity of the stock transport order as a future entry and this is wrong. I need that the MRP has not into account the stock transport order as an entry.
As an important information, If I modify the stock transport order removing the account asignment category E (sales order), then the MRP doesn't take into account it, so this is correct.
Could anybody tell me how to get it?
    Thanks in advanced.

    Laura,
It is normal that MRP will consider an STO as a receipt element; this is basic planning.  It is unclear to me why you think you do not want it to do so, but I will assume you have some logical reason.
Contrary to what some others may have suggested, changing the scope of check for availability checking has no effect on which elements are considered for MRP.  MRP is a completely separate functionality from Availability Check.
For Location > Location STOs (within a plant), then, you normally have the receipt element of the STO in the destination storage location, and the requirements element of an equal amount in the source storage location.  Net of these two elements is zero, unless you have already issued the STO at the source location.
Changing the Account assignment from "E" means that the STO will not be relevant for your Sales order (in other words, when you receive this STO into the destination storage location, it cannot be used for your sales order).  In a general MTO scenario, it also means that the proceeds of this STO (the stock you received) cannot be used for ANY sales orders.
One way that some people make an STO 'not relevant' for MRP is to alter the destination storage location such that it is not relevant for MRP.  You can change the MRP relevancy of the storage location in MM02 > MRP4 tab
