Stocked array vertical scrollbar's theme mixed between modern and system??

I enabled the vertical scrollbar for an array display in the front panel and apparently the modern themed array control has a system themed scrollbar. Also, the vertical and horizontal scrollbars from the modern control palette are also system themed controls. Did NI puposeply implemented it that way?
In the mean time, What can I do to replace the array veritcal scrollbar with a modern style, shown on the second image. The difference themed scrollbar is very distracting - take a look at the Compare.png image. Please help.
Thanks in advance,
James Pham

Christian -- No you are not missing anything, there is no system array container.  What Elizabeth meant to say was to use a system listbox and a modern/classic array with a system control inside it.
James -- Unfortunately there is no way to change the way the array scrollbar looks.  The modern listbox has the same style scrollbar as the modern graphs.  I can only assume that as the array scrollbars were added in a later version this was overlooked.
Interestingly enough the classic controls consistently use the same scrollbar type (see screenshot).
Another option would be to use a modern scrollbar placed over the modern listbox in leu of the built in scrollbar.  This would require a little programming to implement (namely wiring the value of the scrollbar to the listbox's "TopRow" property and then possibly some more code to account for the length of the array/scrollbar) but it is an option if you prefer the look of the modern controls.  This would look something like this:
I hope this helps and, as Elizabeth mentioned above, this has been reported to R&D as something we need to look at.

Use separate Apple IDs for each family member and use Family Sharing features of those things (if any) that you do want to share. https://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/family-sharing/

  • Differences Between Object And System Privileges

    Hi,
Whats the difference between object and system privileges in oracle?
    Cheers
    Paul

    System Privileges
A system privilege is the right to perform a particular action, or to perform an action on any schema objects of a particular type. For example, the privileges to create tablespaces and to delete the rows of any table in a database are system privileges.
    Schema Object Privileges
A schema object privilege is a privilege or right to perform a particular action on a specific schema object:
For example, the privilege to delete rows from the departments table is an object privilege.
Some schema objects, such as clusters, indexes, triggers, and database links, do not have associated object privileges. Their use is controlled with system privileges. For example, to alter a cluster, a user must own the cluster or have the ALTER ANY CLUSTER system privilege.
A schema object and its synonym are equivalent with respect to privileges. That is, the object privileges granted for a table, view, sequence, procedure, function, or package apply whether referencing the base object by name or using a synonym.
Granting object privileges on a table, view, sequence, procedure, function, or package to a synonym for the object has the same effect as if no synonym were used. When a synonym is dropped, all grants for the underlying schema object remain in effect, even if the privileges were granted by specifying the dropped synonym.

  • Difference between SYS and SYSTEM user

    Hi,
Well, one of my colleagues have asked me the difference between SYS and SYSTEM user .. Normally these are the users which will be under the monitoring of the DBA .. So, how could I know the difference between these two users ..
    Please assist me
    Regards

SYS is the owner of the database and the owner of the data dictionary.
The objects belonging to SYS cannot be exported. But SYS has the SYSDBA privilege which SYSTEM doesn't.
SYSTEM is a privileged administration user, and typically owns Oracle provided tables other than the dictionary.
SYSDBA is not a role, it is a privilege. You'll find it in system_privilege_map, not in dba_roles.

  • GetUserPrincipalName() and mixing between stateful and stateless

I am using VPD, BC4J and the Struts version included in JDEV 9.0.3 final version.
    When I am calling
    String userName = getUserPrincipalName();
from ApplicationModuleImpl it works fine as long as I am using stateful for all BC4J viewobjects, but when I am mixing between a stateful and stateless application module, getUserPrincipalName() will return the previous users principal.
An Example that will cause this problem:
User 1: Goes to a web page using a stateful AM
User 1: Goes to a web page using a stateless AM
User 2: Goes to a web page using a stateful AM
when user 2 goes to a stateful page he will retrieve
    user 1's principal.
    My questions are:
    1) Does getUserPrincipalName() only work under stateful?
    2) Does a struts application using stateful application module lose stateful state after calling a stateless application module?

    Ahhh forgot to add something...
if you want to keep your existing exception hirarchy (ABCException extends RemoteException).
then make sure that in your statefull session bean the order of the catch block is first the catch(ABCException) and then the remote exception.
If the catch block for remote exception comes first, then the ABCException will be sent to that block itself because ABCException is a sub class of remote exception.
However, IMHO, business exceptions should not extend the remote exception... as the RemoteException is used to report technical errors and not business errors.
    hope this helps ....
    regards,
    Abhishek.

  • Difference Between Physical and System Stock.

    Hi Gurus,
I am facing a problem in Executing One Scenario.
Actually we have one Raw Material which contains a "Moisture Contain" Half it own weight.
When we are procuring it, we do it as it is i.e. including the weight of Moisture.
But when we are issuing it for production the scenario is like,
Suppose we require 10 Kg of that Raw Material for 5 Kg of finished product.
Physically we are Isuuing 10 Kg, But in system we are Issuing it as 5 Kg only (i.e "Excluding the Moisture Content of 5 Kg").
But beacuse of this there is a variation in Physical and System Stock.
How to aviod this Variation in Stock?
    Please Help.........
    Thanks in Advance.

    HI
Maintain the moisture content in Component scrap in MRP4 and do all the calculation on dry basis only for FG.
also while procuring the item system will calculate PR qty including the moisture content.
    Check with your MM consultant.

  • Difference between Communication and System User

    Hello All,
I would like to know the difference between the Communication User and System User.
Definition wise, Yes, I know what they are for?
But My doubt is, why do we need a communication user type for RFC connections when we can use a System user.
Why did SAP designed these two types of users?

It's okay in my books for people to experience the internet as it is and not the way it was individually intended
SU01Solution already solved the problem actually, but there are some very fine peripheral differences still between the user types.
That is why asking a specific question and discussing it's merits / pro's and con's is the best approach and SAP also benefits from it.
Another obvious difference if you do a simple search is that SYSTEM type users cannot issue SAP logon tickets.
There are a few more but as I said these are peripheral and very use-case dependent... so SU01Solution needs to ask a proper and realistic question.
ps: ST01 is not the answer here either...
    Cheers,
    Julius

  • Time difference issue between actual and system internal time..

    Hi,
We have PCCE v9.0.3 running in our network.
We see time difference of mor than 30 minutes between CUIC reports and SQL quries output for the calls.
I checked system time for all components along with NTP source, all good. However the RTTEST and PROCMON utilities STATUS command output shows the local time is behind actual time.
I have attached the snapshot of this.
    Thanks!

    Not exactly true:
User SYS is the owner of the data dictionary. In fact, SYS is the owner of the entrire structure of the database. The datadictionary is stored in the SYS-schema (a user = a schema)
SYSTEM is an account with many privileges and is used as an administrator account. SYSTEM owns some objects, but not the data dictionary
The tablespace SYSTEM is the tablespace in which the SYS schema (and SYSTEM schema as well) is stored. The names of the SYSTEM account and SYSTEM tablespace have nothing to do with each other, not as far as I know anyway

  • Audio Mixing between track and menu items

The gain on my menu audio is too high. How can I reduce/mix the menu audio so that it better matches the track audio ?
    Thanks,
    Andrwe

Use an external sound editor to reduce the level of the audio-file [of the menu]; and then use the quieter version in DVD-SP. Try installing Bias Peak LE, which should have come with DVD-SP.

  • Mismatch in amount of free space, between UI and System Info.

I'm running a 2011 15" MBP, with a 2 TB drive in it, and the UI is indicating that I have about 520 some odd GB left. System Info and Drive Genius indicate about 490 some odd.
I don't foresee this being a huge problem any time soon, but it's bugging me.

  • SAP Kernel release - Difference between SM51 and System- Status ?

    Dear SDN colleagues,
I am a ABAP developer, and have been told by our Basis department that our SAP Kernel is 640.
When I check the following, I get different values:
    1) System -> Status : SAP_BASIS is 620
    2) Transaction SM51 -> Release Notes: I see SAP R/3 Kernel              640_REL
Can anyone explain why there is a difference in these informations? (and which is the correct one !)
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Jodie

    Hello Jodie,
First of all there is nothing to be "implemented" as per the note.
Additionally the poor basis guy is saying the correct thing. Check this part:
    Solution
The changes are activated with the following patch levels:
    4.6D : 1495
    6.20 : 764
    The paging administration was enhanced.
The error is no longer passed on to other sessions and the trace outputs to determine the error cause have been improved.
The patch levels mentioned are kernel patch levels and have nothing to do with your SAP_BASIS release.Since your kernel is 640 this note is no longer applicable.  In my opinion you need to dig for some other note.
    Regards.

  • Setting system properties: difference between "-D" and "System.setProperty"

    Hi.
I have a program that relies on the jogl library to display graphics. Internally, jogl loads a native library from disk, with a System.loadLibrary() call. In turn, loadLibrary searches the paths in the system property "java.library.path" to find the jogl DLL/SO files. So, it is my responsibility to ensure that the "java.library.path" property is correctly set.
There are two ways that I know of to set system properties: as an argument to the JRE via the "-D" option and from within an application with the System.setProperty method. However, I have noticed that only the former gives the desired behavior. That is, if I do:
    java -Djava.library.path=lib MyProgram{code}
the code in jogl.jar is able to successfully find and load the native libraries in lib/, but if I do:
    {code:java}System.setProperty("java.library.path", "lib");{code}
at the beginning of main in my program (before the classes requiring jogl are loaded), I end up with an UnsatisfiedLinkError.
Why does this happen? Why do the 2 methods produce different results? Is specifying native library paths on the command line the only way to ensure that they are found?

Warning: Changing system properties is potentially dangerous and should be done with discretion. Many system properties are not reread after start-up and are there for informational purposes. Changing some properties may have unexpected side-effects.

  • Tuxera NTFS-3G vs MacDrive / Sharing volumes between Mac and PC

    Hi all,
I have a number of external hard drives (and am thinking of getting an external RAID array) which I need to share between Windows and Mac OS X. This is not just for backups it is for storing video media and projects (Final cut Pro/Sony Vegas) and working on them. The two sensible solutions seem to be Tuxera NTFS-3G and MacDrive. I'me inclined to go fro NTFS as that is what most of my drives are currently but would like to know what people thing.
    Regards,
    Ben

    Thanks for that,
Do you know how Paragon and Tuxera NTFS compare.
In terms of NAS as I am dealing with big video files I dont want to have to transfer everything over a network.

  • Show vertical scrollbar when 1D array only shows one element

When showing only one element of one dimensional array, only the horizontal scrollbar can be displayed.  The vertical scrollbar visible option is greyed out.  Even using property nodes does not make it visible.  I have an array of clusters with many controls in each cluster that are aranged hozizontally across the front panel.  I'd like the user to see only one element (one set of controls) at a time and be able to scroll through them using a vertical scollbar.

I think Brent's suggestion is very good.  Another hack would be to cover the additional array elements with a decoration so that you only see one element.
