Strainge problem need expert advice

Hey guys
I am into strange problem where I have to integrate cluster and EMC storage for that I have to take 1 NIC port from default nic port present on the server and 3 NIC port from quad card which is also present on the server. Right now I have connect all ports to a network for testing purpose.
Now the problem is when I remove network from either of the three ports present on the Quad card then rest of the ports i.e 2 port from quad card & 1 from inbuilt port present on the server are pinging from the network. But when I remove network from default NIC port present on the server then all rest of the three port from the quad card are also stop pinging from the network.
Could any one help me in solving this problem. What I actually want is, when I remove network from default port present on the server then rest of the three ports present on the quad card should ping on the network

Session/jstl and load balancing - need expert advice

After user loggs in, I am getting locale from db and storing it inside userSession along with userLogin. Inside jsp using <fmt> tag to display locale based resource property.

Hi I Am a digital textile designer and planning to buy my first retina macbook pro. I need expert advice, which model should i buy 15 inch base model or with dedicated graphics card. i will use macbook for digital designing on Adobe photoshop and multi tasking. so now really confused is intel iris pro graphics will handle heavy files on photoshop or Nvidia GT750 m will good for heavy work. I am working on very large resolution file like 10 to 15k in resolution approx 1 GB in file size with lot of filters is being use while designing. Which model will handle above task well and last longer.

Need Expert advice on choosing Source System for creating/maint Customers.

Hi Experts,
Iam on project where we have CRM,ECC(SD),FICA in the System Landscape.The client is currently using ECC(SD) Customer master for creating/maintainig Customer's.As we have CRM & FICA in this implementation, we are planning to propose that we use CRM as the source system for creating/maintaing Customers as Business Partners & Perform standard replication to the other system's in the landscape.
The client has has asked us to confirm if having CRM as the source is the Best practice in the industry when we have this three systems (CRM,FICA,ECC(SD)) Landscape.I thought to get some expert advice on this & see if any of you have a similar project experience & share some views on this CRM BP vs ECC(SD) Customer Master.

I believe it depends on your business senario.Here I can share some my experience for you.
CRM As Source System
Advantage:
1) Choosing CRM as source system ,you can create several roles of customer for tracking the presales process of customer，such as prospect ,sold to party ,customers ,also you can define the life cycle of your customer and control which life cycle of customer should be replicated to ECC and which one should not.
2) CRM can have more views of customer and customer defined field (EEWB fields) ,so if you choose CRM as Source it will be more convenient to create and fill in the all your user defined field .In other words ,choosing ECC as source you have to extend these field again in CRM .
3） easy to maintain customer relationship
Disadvantages：
1） Have to extend Company code view of Customer data, since CRM do not have these view ,it is just used for billing and integration with financial accounts.
2） have to extend some particular partner function of customer ,it is because of CRM it is only possible to create part of partner function automatically like SP ,BP when business partner is replicating to ECC.
ECC As the source
Oppositely， if you choose ECC as the source ,the advantage become disadvantage.
Advantage :
1) Can Easily to create customer's data of company code view
2) Can easily to assign any partner function to customer
To conclude， if you only need to create sales order in ECC ，I believe choosing ECC as Lead system is better, since you do not have to extend customer data and easily to integrate with FICO and SD.Howerver, if you are going to create a sales order from opportunity or quotation ,CRM is your best choice.

Duplicate Files Question - Need Expert Advice . . .

I have completed my transition from PC to Mac and have all of my files running on my MacBook Pro. I have synced my iPod Classic to iTunes and have noticed that when I click on "Music" from the iTunes Library the number of files at the bottom states "1924 files," but when I click on "Music" from the Ipod Library it states "1923 files." I have used the "Find Duplicates" command and checked everything 3 times, but have been unable to solve this problem.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I'm probably losing my mind over this issue, but could use some advice. Thank you in advance for your help.

The problem is not necessarily a duplicate, since the duplicates in iTunes will sync as duplicates to the iPod.
Most likely there is one song in your iTunes library which, for some reason, will play in iTunes , but will not sync to the iPod. It may have an odd sampling rate or some similar peculiarity. Normally iTunes will give you an error message at the time of syncing, but I know from experience that it does not always.
If you can manually figure out which track is the problem, you can convert it to a more vanilla format, and then it should sync.

Need Experts Advice (EP, ABAP, Java etc)

I am having almost 3 years exp in SAP (ABAP-3 months, EP Testing + Dev-2.5) .Now i am bit confused about my career path beacuse I have got EP testing exp and not development and also I am almost new to Java Programming
I will be so thankful if experts can give me their valuable advice.
1. Shall I continue learning EP Development as I rarely see EP Projects and jobs in India and abroad?
2. Which module/component will be the good combination with EP (PI, BI etc)

As you already know ABAP. My suggestion is learn OABAP and webdynpro for ABAP because future busness packages are coming in webdynpro ABAP, you have good future.

Safari Peformance Problems - Need Your Advice

Lately my Safari browser has been performing strangely. Often the blue bar that sweeps across the "http" window at the top of the Safari page does not complete its sweep and locks up. Also, I am noticing statements at the bottom of the Safari page saying things like ".......completed 184 out of 191 items",
What is going on here? Do I need to make any changes to Safari? Are these symptoms possibly the result of the web pages that Safari is trying to load having instructions that Safari is not equipped to follow?

No, I do not have any of the special type software that you enumerate.
Some details on how safari is performing:
1) A good example of what I mentioned in my first note is the behavior when I contact www.cnn.com. The blue bar that sweeps across the top of the page does not complete its sweep and I get a message at the bottom of the page such as ".....completed 93 of 184 items". I then halt the browser. The web page is useable, but evidently parts of it were never completed.
2) Sometimes I simply cannot access a web page. For example I just tried to access http://groups-beta.google.com/group/comp.sys.mac.comm/topics and the browser basically locked up and got nowhere.
3) In another case I can access a web page, but once on the page I cannot get icon driven commands to function. For example, I can contact the Adelphia home page (www.adelphia.net), but on that page are icon driven commands to access my eMail and a support chat room. Neither of these commands work. The browser again locks up. This is most vexing because Adelphia is my new ISP.
Note 1: These problems do not occur with all web pages. I can access many web pages such as amazon.com without any such problems.
Note 2: None of these problems occur when I access the net directly through a modem using my PowerBook.
For me, this is all most confusing.

Need expert advice on Ram and CPU Speed

I have read places that your Ram and CPU FSB speed should be the same to increase performance. However, I can no longer find them anymore. Now, I just want to make sure.
I currently have PC2700 (333Mhz) ram, but my processor is a AMD 2000+XP at 266 FSB. Should I run my ram at 266 Mhz instead of 333 for a 1:1 ratio?
What do the experts think?

Now my problem is Today I started my new PC and ready to install Windows 7 OS unfortunately .. It Hangs up at "Setup Is Starting Windows"
After sever attempts I found that system hangs up at a stage when the files must be copying to HardDisk ..
So I removed my HardDisk and tried to install .. The same problem I face ..
It always hangs at "Setup Is Starting Windows"

Need Expert Advice regarding oracle and java objects

In our project, we are submitting data for many screens at a time. Some screens will have a list of records to be submitted. There is also some hierarchy among the data up to 4 levels.
In such a scenario, we need to know the best way to exchange data between Oracle and Java. Currently java holds the data as objects, where each object may contain an array of next level of objects in it.
Is it best approach to pass the entire data with hierarchy to Oracle using nested table approach and internally oracle handling the data? Is there any other way to do this?
Also in some scenarios we need to pass the entire information for all the screens in one shot with the hierarchy. So we need to know a solution for that also. Could you please help us in this regard?

URGENT BIG PROBLEM NEEDING EXPERT!

I recently bought a ipod mini 4gen 4gb, and when i received It I onlu had a Windows ME computer, when i received it it wasnt charged so I pluged it in my windows ME computer and a screen came up asking me to reformate drive, not paying attention I did. Now every time I open Ipod a file icon with an exclamation make apeared then the ipod shuts down. I asked arround and people said that I need to restore it, So i went to a windows XP computer, installed the software and restored it,
when it was done being restored it asked me to plug it into the portable firewire. Now every time i open my ipod, instead of having the file icon with a exclamation mark theres a picture of a wall plug, and an arrow to show something being plugged, someone told me it was portatif firewire, which wasnt included in the ipod.
I tried calling tech support but since i bought ipod on ebay the warranty was over and its 59$ for a question
please help me this is pretty bad and I can only access windows XP computer on weekends so please help me before weeken ends!

The first generation mini came supplied with a power adapter as standard. One of the reasons it did, was that when you restore the iPod's software via a usb connection, then you need to plug the iPod into a wall outlet via the adapter to complete the process. Hence the picture you are seeing on the iPod's screen.
There is no way around this.
Perhaps you should contact the seller and ask why it was sold without the charger?
And btw, it's not a 4th gen as you incorrectly stated in your OP.

Internet constantly disconnects. Need expert advice

Hello and thank you for reading this.
The problem I have been having with my home internet for the past year is that it is constantly losing connection. Sometimes it's as often as once an hour, sometimes only a few times a day.
I have logged onto router to see what happens when it disconnects and sometimes Broadband and ISP are both disconnected and sometimes Broadband is connected and ISP is not.
I think it is an issue with the router sharing a 2-in-1 wall adapter with the phone. I have noticed that when the phone rings or gets hung up the internet will usually disconnect at the same time. When the internet goes down sometimes it'll connect back right away, but usually it takes at least 1-5 minutes before connection is reestablished.
Also as further evidence of this theory when using the house phone there is a lot of background static on the line.
I know that this can be caused by DSL signal interfering but I am confused because I use a DSL filter on my phone.
My setup is an actiontec gt784wnv router sharing a 2Wire 2-in-1 wall adapter with a house phone + cordless phone combo.
I have a 2Wire DSL filter hooked up to the phone line going into the wall. and yes, it is correctly installed.
I am hoping someone can verify my suspicions and point out to me the problem in my set up.
Should I try replacing the DSL filter? Mine is a few years old is that past due? Or is it another problem?

The first servers to be updated in a site are the Mailbox servers even if they are member of DAG.Ensure the DAG node you are updating is in maintainence mode. The Client Access servers are updated second. If you have multi-role servers installed then
both roles are updated at the same time anyway, and you should simply start with the internet-facing servers.
First, you will need to remove any UM language packs that you have installed in previous version. From an elevated cmd prompt navigate to the folder where you have extracted the Exchange 2013 SP1 files and run setup with the /RemoveUMLanguagePack switch. For
example, to remove the “en-us” language pack.

We don't know what "some answer and reference" you received "from the forum."

Need expert advice fast! I'm a Logic user, now on STP.

Good afternoon everybody. First post in STP forum.
I was just handed an amazing opportunity to work on a video series as the main guy in charge of mixing all the audio, music, ADR and what not. My problem is I've never edited and processed audio with video. I've always been a music producer and mixer (using Logic Pro), so this is a bit of a jump for me. I'm not worried about my ear. I'm confident about my abilites mixing, compressing, cutting and pasting audio and dialog but I've just never opened and synced up audio to video.
My question: I've been given an AAF file and a quicktime file to of one of the shows. I want to use STP to open these files and begin working. What's the best way to ensure that the video (and it's audio) along with the AFF file I've been given can be loaded in a STP project and everything spots up just right so I can get to work.

As for the burned in timecode, he said he never had problems before just doing it with out the burned in code and starting a 0 with the pop and the color screen. Oh well, and acutally, it worked fine and played fine. This is a test mix for them to see if I'm their guy, so if I am in fact their guy, maybe I can state my preferences later. If I run into trouble I just may go PT LE and add the DV tool kit. A little pricy for a maybe gig, but oh well. I would really like this gig!
Of course he's never had any problems, but it would be a lot easier for you if there was visual timecode on your monitor. PT LE/DV Toolkit won't solve any of that for you, you'd still be in the same situation.
I'll tell him to save it as OMF 2 file (which you're telling me embeds the audio too?) and hopefully STP can handle that and it will work. Does STP play nicer with OMF 2 than it does AAC or is it hit or miss? And why hasn't STP allowed for using embedded AAF. It seem popular.
When he saves the OMF he has a choice of embedding the media or not. I've always received embedded OMFs - so I'd choose that option. Remember to ask for handles, at least 2 seconds.
STP does seem to have issues with AAFs from what i've read. Why? . . . the engineers have higher priorities.
History: [OMF|http://www.digone.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=omfi.&CFID=54&CFTOKEN=36879643] was invented by avid as a cross-platform way of interchanging session information. It became popular but many people were worried about the standard being controlled by a single company so a bunch of people got together and invented [AAF|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AdvancedAuthoringFormat] which was basically the same thing with a different name controlled by a different group of companies.
But AAF has just never got the penetration in the market that OMF already held. Frankly both of them have problems in that they're frame based and not sample based, and it would be nice to have something better but that's what we're stuck with.
